In the exciting field of Farm Science, scientists at the Margarine Institute of Technology (MIT) had a breakthrough in their Peep reproduction program. By stimulating certain aspects of the lowland Peep’s DNA, scientists estimate the effects will reduce the time necessary for the new and improved Peep to produce an egg by almost 40%. This, combined with the recent development of using synchronized lighting (Disco Balls) in the Peep Pens will result in a doubling of yearly egg production. Dr. Blar Ysynite Director of Farm and Reproduction Technology at MIT was quoted as saying “With this breakthrough the Tiny Nation of UBT leaps into the fore of Farm and livestock science.” Although he was quick to point out that the results are preliminary and that they may not have the same effects on the other varieties of Peep including the yellow, plaid and long-eared.
