OOC:Turned on the "show images" thing from the options. Stupid me... :D And those new names except for the "Chimaera" and "Fireblade" are all abbreviations or something like that in Finnish. When i'll do the vehicles part (weekend) i'll write what they mean. Which reminds me, i gotta rename the rest of the weapons.

Patriotic Finland has a large and modern navy that is equipped to deal with various threats ranging from seaborne terrorism to enemy invasion. It is commanded by the Chief of Naval Operations, who is a four-star admiral reporting directly to the Minister of Defence and having a seat at the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Under the CNO is the Naval High Command, which is commanded by the Naval Chief of Staff (NCoS). Under the NHC the navy is divided into five commands:

High Seas Command:
Coastal Defence Command:
Material and Naval Engineer Command:
Training and Personnel Command:
Intelligence and Security Command:

High Seas Command is, obviously, responsible for operations in the high seas. Navy's carriers, cruisers, destroyers, amphibious ships, submarines and some of the frigates are under HSC's command. It is organized into fleets, which in turn are organized into groups (Carrier Group, Cruiser Group, etc.). The Coastal Defence Command, operating frigates assigned to coastal anti-submarine warfare, corvettes, fast-attack craft and shoreline defence units, is responsible for the defence of Patriotic Finland's coasts. It's units are organized into brigades.

The Mannerheim is a modified version of the Merikotka-class aircraft carrier and was originally built as a prototype for the "Finlandia" design. There are 11 Finlandia-class carriers including PFS Mannerheim currently in use, and four more are currently being built in Navy Dock Facilities (NDF) Kannelmäki and New Petsamo.
