This is the RP thread for the 'sorry i don't know what to call this' thread. I will now post the rules made by the creator.

3. No huge fleets, restrain yourself to about 10-15 ships, fighters however can be as many as your ships can house (usually somewhere in the thousands)

The small pod floated through an unoccupied sector of space. It was small, about the size of an average car, and its was vaguely fleshy. It continued on its path for a moment or two before something inside its small existance realized that their was a planet next to it. After a moment the small blob shifted course and headed toward the red, encrusted planet nearby. It positioned itself in orbit around the planet, which seemed to be unoccupied, and launched a small "seed" from itself. The seed traveled the thousands of kilometres towards the planet and sped straight through the atmosphere. Upon impact the small seed extended a tentacle into the hard, rock that made up the surface of the planet and began the years long process of colonization.


The Expansion had begun.

The automated drone craft (ADC) arrived in the system and began launching transmission, survey/exploratory drones as well as a control and relay satellite. The ADC having done its job in the system, headed to its next destination. The transmission drones transmitted a variety of messages on a variety of channels. The survey/exploratory drones began mapping the systems and getting data which they relayed to the satellite which transmitted the information to a more central satellite which relayed it to the command center.

How about starcraft.

Lieutenant Valt was in his prowler. He was scouting out parts of the sector looking for new planets for the “peace keepers” to make military bases and colonies on. He moved his prowler threw the system now knowing what was about to happen. His prowler’s scanners where limited, but the area looked good. He would call the fleet and tell them he found a good place to start building.

How about starcraft.

The Adm. looked out his window The Hyper Space around the Ship glowed a bright orange but through it all the shapes of stars flew past. Suddenly there was a jolt that almost threw the Adm. out of his chair there was only 2 things that could cause a jolt like that, either the Hyper Space engines went critical or something was in there way and the emergency stop procedure was activated. The telecom came on and a womens voice came over the speaker "Ah sir we ah have a problem...." "I'm on my way". The Adm. stood up and walked out of the room.

When he came onto the bridge it was a mess people were running from one tech station to another. "Whats wrong? ah sir we ah.... found a planet that didn't come up on the sensors" "are we still in Hype?" "yesir, we are decelerating but were gonna come in very close to the planet and we don't know what will happen..." "oh this is gonna suck i want all pulse engines on full reverse right now and i want the fleet to make evasive actions as soon as we come out of hype" "Yes sir" "how long do we have?" "about five minutes" The Adm.. sat in his chair "Class 6 alert.." "Sir"

The space around the planet started to bend with the fleet coming out of hyper space, The First ship out was a Cord class battler ship then the freighters, then the other Cord class battle ship and finally the Super Carrier.
The fleet separated and there engines started to go critical ans the strain on them was nothing they were designed for. but all the ships escaped pancaking themselves on the unknown planet.

"Sir theres a ship in the system...unknown owners" "Hail them and i want us in battle formation now" the Adm. placed his head in his hands...i knew this trip was going to suck..."

After several years the strange 'seed' that had been implanted on the red planet had grown. With the original tentacle having grown to a huge underground pillar that extended to the hot core of the planet, it was able to draw energy and create more biomass. A small thin organic film had been created at the barrier between the outer crust and the deeper layers of the planet and almost enveloped the whole inner crust of the planet. This was to be the basis for organic creations and some of the original chemicals needed were being created by the heat and organic film, just as the doomed scientists, millions of years before had predicted. The seed was now an atmosphere modifier and had projected so much hydrogen and carbon monoxide into the air that it had become a protective layer around the planet. Soon the third step of the process would be ready and life would be created upon the planet. Meanwhile the seed only had to decide what to do with the many ships that had just warped in around its location and barely missed colliding with the whole planet...

A dark chasmic void leapt from the deep regions of space, as the swerving tunnel of transport that was the the Hyperspace leapted from existence, and the conciousness began to feel its tug. The pull of speed began to warp back, and the dotted spots of the twinkling stars dimpled into larger objects, instantly becoming fleets.

Dark Jedi, the modern Sith, controlled a small armada of forces, nearly 12 capital ships, as they glimmered off the sunlight of the nearby gas giant. The blue waves were stiff and burning, but they rarely penetrated the deep masses of the ships, the detailed scars and ravaged wounds of all of them. The capital ships, armed with massive turret-like quad cannons, glittered silver amongst the others, as the main forwards flashed around, showing a sense of power. Aboard the top of the minuscule fleet, the rumbling ships and the broken armada of Hyperspace, bore the insignia of red hand, a splintered hand, a hand without a fourth finger, but only three. On top of that insignia, aboard the shattered bridge of the ship, was a Sith Lord.

Darth Potence, a calculating Sith Lord named after his powerful ideals, stood alone on his massive ship, the sections bulging out of place and the spots show carbon fire within meters of each other. Clearly the ships were a wreckage of a great battle.

He eyed his armada with hatred and contempt, as he flicked his fingers on his wrist as he glared towards the nearby gas giant. Lightsabers strapped around his trophy-like metal belt, Potence drew one maniacally and felt a solace in his cruelty. His forces were beginning to grow upon a battered world, and heal it with the Force. With the Dark Side.

Valt had sent his message to Admiral Dempar and was continuing scans “what the hell is that!? Five ships hmmm I do hope they are friendly. But the ships don’t look like anything I have ever seen oh well if they happen to control the planet we will just blast them away” Valt said to himself


Admiral Dempar was about to deploy his small fleet to the area Valt had found “send the Talon class gun ships and Leviathans in first the Command Carriers will follow shortly

OOC:Talon gun ships and Leviathans are part living ships and have the ability to jump almost instantly to other places the Com Carriers need to calculate the jump first

The survey drones having picked up a variety of interesting sensor blips transmitted a signal back to the satallite which relayed it to the main system.

"There appears to be interesting sensor readings in system 1790-AFQ."
"Deployed the fleet, we need to find out what's there."

8 capital class ships as well as escorts deployed and launched into tunnel space headed toward the system.

OOC: By the way my colonization efforts would be invisibile to any of the ships around as it is under the surface so far. The only visible thing is the seed, which has grown to the size of a reasonable house. It would be almost impossible to detect without some form of bio scanners.

IC: The slight conciousness of the seed felt another rupture in space and noticed more strange ships jump into the nearby area. The ships seemed to be in wreckage and several had battle scars in what would seem critical places but most ran fine according to its primitive chemical scans. It decided that the best course of action would be to wait for the final step to kick in and it sat back, hoping to avoid detection.

"Stay on course." The Sith Lord commanded as he looked out the window, his hands dripping with blood from a newly opened wound.

The five Talon class Gun ships and two Leviathans dropped out of star burst and began the expansion deploying Self-Tracking Pulse Cannons in the outer part of the system

Gosa (a Talon class gun ship) picked up other ships in the area he told the captain

“What! Gosa your telling me there are other ships in the system” said captain bandos alert status now I want are Prowlers and Marauders ready this could be a Scarran Trap I want to be ready if it is and inform the other Gun ships and Leviathans I don’t want to be the only one who sees the other ships and how many Pulse cannons do we have deployed

The fleet deployed into a star formation as it triggered the nearest transmission drone to each other fleet. "This is the Polteva, you have entered a system currently under the reconissence of Theao*. Please state intentions and point of visit."

ooc: * this isn't the real FT Theao, I just was too lazy to come up with a new name.

The pod had grown again during the scouting of the fleets and the transmission and recieval of messages. The skin was complete now and was ready to deploy. The deep inner pillar that was drawing energy searched deeper in the core of the planet for the last remnants of energy. For the final push the skin would need all of the energy it could gather. Finally when the energy had been gathered a chemical was sent to the seed. Slowly it traveled from the core to the seed, up its 'nervous system' of sorts. As the signal hit the seed it released a pre-created concentration of chemicals and the creation mechanism was triggered. The skin began to bloat and expand until the pressure was too much for the crust of the world and it broke free, sending huge chunks of dry rock hurtling in all directions through space, headed towards the gathering fleets. Through the commotion a sort of organic planet was left with a huge, inflated skin covering it, pulsing in its wierd way. At the impact site of the seed now was what could be described as a spire. The seed was now hundreds of feet off the ground and was supported by the huge pillar that had been unrevealed until now. The time had come and The Expansion was complete. The Javiiane would live on.

“Who the Frell (Peacekeeper sware word) are they!” yelled Bandos “I want a full scan and inform the Admiral” Bandos said to an officer he didn’t like things asking him questions they should already know

A few minuets later

“Multiple rock fragments incoming from the planet” Gosa informed Bandos threw the mind link “what?! Take evasive action now!” Yelled Bandos this was not going as planed

On board the Polteva
"Sir the planet seems to have sprouted a quasi-organic growth which resulted in large stone shards being launched into space."
"Have the fleet increase to yellow two and launch two high-res survey drones as well as a survey drone equiped with a planetary proctoscope."

The three drones launched from the fleet and headed toward the planet as the fleet followed a slower speed.

As the fleet lumbered on, a shard of a planet flew towards the fleet, but luckily the capital warships escaped the trudging path using the magnetic tractor beam.
"Let's investigate." The Sith Lord commanded, his legions following his orders, as the warships sped forwards to investigate. Soon it was apparent that things were out of hand. He was not alone, and his eyes slowly closed to reveal an omnioscent feeling. They were home, but they must rid the enemy with their scourge.

As the strange droids entered the planet's toxic atmosphere they saw an organic mass instead of solid ground. It was orangish-red and the surface 'skin' would ripple and dance, almost as if it were an ocean. It was very calming, if the drones were capable of emotions, and it seemed to behave like water. After scanning for an amount of time the drones rounded the planet till they found the spire. A look from above would show that the top of the original seed had opened up and created a dangerous looking maw that had no end in sight. There were no teeth of any sort but a kind of fleshy pulp was growing around the jagged edges of the opening. It was yellow and slightly porous and secreted a purple liquid from its small openings. The tube that extended to the 'ocean' below was roughly 300 metres wide and several times that length tall. Closer inspection would reveal that although the tube appeared the same color of the ocean, it was in fact a faded shade of yellow-orange.

OOC: By the way anyone seeing the ocean projected by the probes would be calmed and the spire actually emits wonder, instead of the usual disgust one might feel. The planet does not terrify.

Long had he waited. Traviante, Great One of the Javiiane had been re-born.

Traviante became dimly aware of his surroundings. It had seemed like only a second ago that he had been on the doomed world of Kilro'lk while the scientists took sneay and other chemical samples from him. The last thing he remebered was being put down on a bed of sorts and he also remembered the orange ceiling before it finally went black. Traviante slowly became aware of his entombment inside the sack. The scientist Gorlianen had said that this would happen at that he would just have to wait it out. A slight light eminated from somewhere below him but he couldn't turn his head to see its source. He waited for the inevitable to happen.

Gosa and the other five Talon Gun ships deployed there cannons they would destroy the fragments before they got to close “FIRE!” yelled Bandos a yellow colored Pulse blast came from the ships the power in each shot destroyed the Rocks braking them into parts to small to damage the ships “what the look at the planet its not normal” said a crew member “I don’t like it Gosa its to strange send a Marauder to find out more

Shortly after launching the Marauder the three Command Carriers Dropped out of Hyperspace Bandos told Admiral Dempar what was going on

“This is Lieutenant Bail the planet looks to be some sort of ocean its so calming” “lieutenant your not trained to be calmed by oceans I want you to find more out who lives here what do they have for weapons if anyone lives here at all” said the Admiral

The two survey probes continued to map the planet, while the P-survey probe began invasive mapping of the inner parts of the planet, down to the core.
The fleet retransmitted to the other fleets "This is the Polteva, you have entered a system currently under the reconissence of Theao*. Please state intentions and point of visit."

"Exiting hyperspace, various vessels detected in the planets orbit" The droid relayed to the Jedi Master.

The Jedi stood at the screen broadcasting the planet and ships surrounding it. He considered them, then focused on the planet. Whatever these ships were doing here, he had to get the Artifact of the planet before it was discovered. Nodding to the 6 jedi behind him, they departed for thier star fighters. Each new his or her mission, and if so was to engage any opposition on landing to get the Artifact.

Six small fighters departed from the Republic frigate, and began thier desent to the planet...

“This is Lieutenant Bail to Command carrier Davon we are picking up Probes near here I don’t know what they are doing but they are here”

“Lieutenant Bail this is Admiral Dempar I want you to capture a Probe so we can extract the data if you cant capture it destroy it I don’t want whoever owns it to keep it”

“Yes sir” answered Bail

On bored the Davon

“Sir incoming transmission audio only”
“Put it threw”

Dempar listened to the message sent by Theao

“Who do they think they are if we ever meet with them we will destroy them” said Dempar

Somewhere not to far away on bored Gosa

“Sir a ship just cam out of Hyper space only 50 billion Metra (Peacekeeper form of a Kilometer or mile) from here”

“What, move us into visual range I want to be able to take it out if it’s a threat and report it to the Admiral”

“Yes sir”

OOC: Any probe, or scanning equipment aimed at the planet wouldn't detect anything unless they had bio-or life detecting scanners of some sort. Any attempts to scan the core of the planet would note that under the first 'ocean' there were several small tubes that led down to what would seem to be another 'ocean'. Following that you would realize that there were more tubes placed around that went deeper but your scanners would feel some sort of field, not permitting them to scan deeper. On one side of the planet you would see a deep deposit of some form of metal. If you watched it closely it would be growing, albiet slowly. It would be located in the crust separating the first and second 'oceans'.

IC: Traviante flexed his eight legs in his cramped enclosure. It can't last much longer he thought and proceeded to poke the sack around him with less hesitation. After probing for a few moments he found what felt to be some sort of soft spot roughly behind him. He pushed and it slowly gave way, creating a small tear in the fleshy pulp. Immediately the sack around him contracted from every direction and he felt he was having the hydrogen squeezed out of him, but a few seconds later he was thrust through the hole and fell a few metres to the 'ground'. Traviante stood on the same fleshy material that was rippling thousands of kilometers above. However his flesh was solid, and was not moving. Traviante extended his feelers about and realized the Great Creation was just begining as the Artifact had not yet been powered. Soon the time would come, and Traviante would witness it all.

Jedi Master Vassel stood at the bridge. He witnessed the growing of it, and new they had little time. The Great Devourer was spreading, and they were the ones to stop it. BUt would the handful of Jedi He sent be enough?

Jedi Millea glanced to her left, then right to make sure she was in unison with her fellow Jedi. As they broke into the planets atmosphere, she could see the small island, and the citadel in the middle. As they neared, she felt her insides pressure inside her, and felt she would explode. They were nearing the platforms, and they would be able to get the Artifact hidden within...

Vassel had watched the ships desent, and was feeling unsure of himself. There was a disturbance in the force. He would have to trust his jugment, and put his confindence in the Jedi below.

OOC: What citadel? Do you mean the spire? If so the spire does not appear to connect to the 'ocean'. In fact it seems to ripple and change. Also as waves from the ocean hit it they just move up the side and treat it as it were just and extension of the water. So there is no island/citadel.

IC: Traviante travelled through the small, rectangular chamber, walking on the waves of flesh beneath him as though it were solid. His octopus like body pulled him along and two tentacle-like growths extended from his head and housed strange, deep black eyes which looked as if they were all pupil. Traviante followed the extension of caves that were growing inside the planet and reached the room he had been looking for. Each time the expansion occured a blueprint was used for the seed to grow from. Every planet a seed was placed on was enveloped the same way. Even the inner tunnels grew the same and following that the Javiianen race. Only Traviante was allowed to observe the growth. Each time he nurtured it carefully to preserve his race. If one step was thrown off the Javiian race could become extinct very quickly. Traviante only hoped nothing would go wrong.

He traveled down a labrinyth of tunnels until the water-like flesh under him stopped rippling and looked solid. Traviante hated swimming but if he had to he would. He lowered himself into the 'solid' flesh, treating it as if it were water and magically he began to swim through it, keeping his sight tentacles above water. Traviante thought back to other planets he had been on that had substances that the inhabitants liked to call 'water'. He chuckled as only a creature with three windpipes can. Water, HA he thought. At least our ground confuses them. Hopefully noone will interfere. Plus the repairs would be complete soon and the flesh would all be 'water' so he wouldn't have to worry about swimming again.

He swam aways through the solid looking flesh and finally reached another section of water, whereupon he promptly climbed out and began slithering along again. He reached the control room at last and ploped himself down in what looked like a permanently frozen wave made of the same fleshy material. What could be taken for controls was a large assortment of fleshy objects glowing various colors and emitting strange colored lights. Traviante extended his tentacle to probe one and a strange translucent picture appeared near him, vaguely reminescint of a hologram.

"Ah good" he stated aloud to noone in particular. Traviante againt tapped the same purple node he had touched before and the picture switched to another strange creature. Remarking things such as "Ah, they've changed again" he flipped through the images. Finally he settled on one close to himself and thought Oh yes Gorlianen, I should bring him up first. He tapped a few more colored nodes and breathed on a yellow one and the process began. He repeated this ritual for each of the other images and the huge, organic film that was enveloping the planet, went to work.

Captains log Stardate: 58757
Our original mission was to negotiate a peace agreement between the Reskans and the Kalzon, two factions of the Imperial Star Empire that are constantly fighting. WE have recently received orders that the Katana is to be leading a task force of ships from all factions to a planet in Sector Gamma-2. Where a large fleet of assorted ships is gathering, this task force is to go there and find out what is happening. The Imperial Council is especially concerned at the closeness to our borders this fleet is massing.

Log begin. Date: 1698 IKR (Imperial Kalzon Reckoning)
The Imperial Council has ordered a task force to be formed, involving ships from all major factions, to investigate a growing fleet near the border. I believe that we should send every ship in the area to destroy the fleet, but the council declined my suggestion. The fact that the treacherous and deceitful Reskans are invited to this Task force worries me, I don’t like the Reskans.

Commanding Officers Journal entry 489.
A task force is forming involving ships from all major factions, meaning the Federation, the Kalzon and us, the Reskans. There is a fleet massing near the border in orbit around Sherman’s Planet, long range sensors have detected some kind of lifeform on the planet, but further investigation is required. I recommend that an attempt be made to make allies with the members of the unknown fleet, in case the treacherous Kalzon decide to take advantage of our charity.

The Polteva and it's escorts continued to approach the planet, scanners continueing to scan the planet and all other vessles in the system.

ooc: Nebarri Prime, you can capture one of the free-floating probes, but not the three scanning the planet. If you capture it, and try to disassemble it though it will explode(blast equivilent to a 1/2 kiloton explosive)

OOC: theao what are the stats of the probes do they have shields or guns

IC: Gosa moved in on the unidentified ship scans told Bandos that the ship had launched several small fighter sized craft they did not concern Bandos but Bandos didn’t like the other ship and he had contacted the Admiral about it the Admiral had said “make contact tell them to identify themselves then if they respond tell them to surrender if they don’t surrender or if they don’t answer than blow them out of space” Bandos opened a channel to the unknown ship “this is Captain Bandos of Peacekeeper Fleet 00936 identify yourselves or be destroyed”

OOC: Jedi Master Obi-wan you must answer or be destroyed

ooc: they don't have any weapons, they have a weak shield designed to prevent meteor impacts primarily

The first creatures to spring up were the Halityuns, a sub-species of the Javiiane. Contrary to Traviante's desires, the skin had spewed out the Halityuns first, before Gorlianen was re-born. The skin slowly but surely worked itself inside the planet and new creatures were popping out of the 'walls' of the organic tunnels almost constantly, too many to name.

Traviante spun his sight tentacles about as he slithered down the aqueous tunnels. He had been searching for Gorlianen for awhile now and was becoming frustrated. Although the process of The Expansion was identical in eveloping planets, the inhabitants spawned randomly throughout it and for all Traviante knew, Gorlianen could be on the other side of the planet. Eventually Traviante came upon Gorlianen while his lower body was still in the process of being created, slowly drawing flesh from the walls and morphing it into his own.

"A long time it has been," said Traviante. "Our pores indicate that aproximitely 20,000 introns have passed." Gorlianen glanced at Traviante in suprise while his body flopped to the floor and two of his tentacles remained attached to the wall.

"20,000," Gorlianen gasped, "That must make it 98523 XR...."

"Yes," replied Traviante. "But that is not all, a number of formations of strange objects have gathered near our haven. They seem to be cabable of intelligence and a few of them have launched smaller devices that seem to be probing the upper layers as we speak. I need you as head scientist to figure out what these things are and project to them a chlorignam (chemical signal used by Javiiane to transmit information) and see if they are capable of response. I will monitor the situation from the Core."

As Traviante finished speaking Gorlianen's final two legs pried themselves from the wall and came to rest ontop of Gorlianen's already heaped body mass. Gorlianen quickly moved into the position that was considered honorable towards The Great One and shook his eye tentacles free, leading them to rest on Traviante's own eyes.

"I'll give you a few moments to prepare yourself," said Traviante and he slithered away in a motion that would be interpreted as a 'swagger' by human terms.

Gorlianen bowed as The Great One walked away and cursed the organic walls. For as long as he could remember, at each re-birth he always had a horrible position that dishonored The Great One when he arrived. He cursed himself and slide along the watery surface towards the communication center where he would monitor the 'weird objects' Traviante had mentioned. The fact that The One hadn't mentioned any of the six types of outerlayer skin had worried Gorlianen because that must have meant the objects were made of strange material that might cause his science to spin on his head. What would Traviante think of that? he thought. He scurried to his post as other creatures spawned near him, and he kicked a Kliftron out of his way in his hurry.

This is going to be a long Creation he thought to himself.

OOC: To any and all probes/ships and other devices scanning the planet you will notice this

1) The strange metal has now completely spread throughout the first crust, not permitting you to see the second 'ocean' as your scanners will not penetrate it.
2) The spire has grown again and the pulp-like material has spread along the opening to encompass the strange maw.
3) Bio-scanners would not detect the creature-spawning as the whole planet is so engrossed in bio-material that it all looks the same now.
4)However, visual feeds would show that that surface of the 'ocean' has parts that are now begining to look solid.
5) Also the spawning would now be apparent in both the 'solid' and 'ocean' areas and you would notice that the 'solid' and 'ocean' areas seem to have reversed affect by the increasing number of "animals" reacting with it such as various creatures that seem to swim in the 'solid' flesh and vice versa. ('water' acts as solid land/'solid' land reacts as water)
6) What could possibly considered trees are springing up around the first skin and many forms of flying creatures are being created. Again, sensors would not detect this due to the fact that everything on and in the planet, including the planet, would read as bio-mass and confuse the sensor, showing one huge planet shaped blob.

"Sir the probes report a bio-organic metal spreading through out the planet as well as increasing organic oddities."
"Oddities?"
"I'll send you the data."
"Ok set the ship to RT and continue moving to planet."

Rimno squirmed his way out of the egg. It had been created minutes ago on a watery section of the surface and he flapped his wings tentatively. Rimno had been feasting on a Kilftron when the bright light from the strange objects had hit him and he suddenly found himself being re-hatched. "Leader of objects currently in orbit around our planet, We do not know why you are here or what your purpose is, however if whatever is wrong can be solved peaceably it would be favorable, hopefully to both sides. A few of our scientists are currently studying your bodies with a purplish gas. Do not be alarmed! This is just to determine which type of skin you are made up of so we can interact in the manner best suited to you. Also on a side note: If any of you wish to talk to us in Javiian we would advise you to not land on the surface as a dangerous, hunter-gather society of Quanskan exist. However if you can fit your bodies through the Great Entrance do so, as we would like to come to better terms with our space-bound neighbors.

Gorlianen used his many tentacles to feel different sensors and absorb thier information via chemicals he chose to emit from each feeler. As his feelers sent the proper chemicals into the variously colored sensor controls small bubbles began to appear on the surface of the tera-formed planet. As the small bubbles popped little bumps grew up from beneath and began to emit a concentrated gas. Soon an extremly long tentacle grew from underneath each one and extended the small bumps upward. As the tentacles propelled the bumps upward they reached a point in which the atmosphere was too thin to retain the gases which were being emited. All around the planet their were about 20 of these tentacles and they were visible from the many ships bridges or via video feed. The gas had a purple hughe and was begining to grow as the bumps emitted more of it. After a substancial amount was left by the small pods, the tentacles retracted straight to the surface of the ocean parts and the small bump was left to sit where it was left, apparently spent on its emission of the gas. In the space above the planet the gases moved around. According to the various sensors monitoring it, and via visual referance, the gas was moving. The highest quality sensors would note that inside the gas appeared to be some form of micro-organism that moved it by using the gas itself for power. The gases gained momentum and quickly split themselves up into one cloud per capital ship (or if not capital ship, the largest one per fleet, as the Javiiane assumed the largest would be the leader). The gases approached their targets and headed straight for any part of the ship that had anttenas or glass as a part of it. A few clouds began to run over the surface of the ships hulls and they seemed to be emiting different kinds of chemicals. The gas surrounded the glass and the anttenas easily and slowly began to dissappate, holding a position over your ships.

Gorlainen sensed all of this as he directed the microscopic organisms to transmit the message and study the creatures larger bodies. If they were intelligent he hoped they would get the message. Otherwise this might get tricky....

The Theao fleet, seeing the chemical gases hit the reverse as well as activating a electrified shield, also the ships charged the weapon systems.

"Conduct internal scans and find and expele any non-natural gases."
"Scans completed, there appears to be no foreign substances anywere on board."

“Sir we have an incoming transmission it seems to be coming from a fleet of ships near here”

After hearing the Theao message Dempar was angered

“How dare those foolish Aliens insult are fare grater people. Soon they will know the name of Peacekeeper and fear it! Prepare the Fleet for combat move the fleet to wherever they are we will show them what Peacekeepers do to inferiors they will not live to see the next Cycle in only a few Arns they will know who we are and what we will do if they ever insult Sebaceans or peacekeepers ever again”

Captain vabota launched a Marauder to the surface it was filled with Colartas they would do there job well they would find out what was on the planets land mass

And yet in another area

Bail was scanning the planet when several gases started coming from the planet it didn’t seem to do anything to his Marauder but who knows what the gas was he could pick up a pattern in the gas but it was little to be seen or cared about but he had found life on the planet soon he would inform the Admiral but his crew were still finding more out about the planet

Captain Bandos was about to fire at the ship when the flagship Davon ordered him to regroup with the fleet

“Hmmm looks like we are going to go into combat. Commander ready the surprise we brought with us in case we did end up in combat”

A few seconds later

The nine talon gunships hoped behind the enemy fleet and turned around they locked weapons on three battleships

“Looks good three blasts per battleship I think we can take them out in a few Dench” said Bandos

“Entering firing range in 3 Dench” said an officer

In the mean time

“Bring the first flight group to bare on the largest ship in the fleet fire at will” these were the Admirals orders and the fighters moved in at hetch seven with pulse weapons charged and ready

The ships, detecting the hostiles that had warped behind them began moving, conterary to engine postion would say, horizontal rather than forward or backward, until they had expanded thier ring to sufficiant size then reverse and reformed, presenting the gunships with the bow of the ships rather than the rear they had been expecting.

The Deatharon fleet detecting this surpise attack fire at the Scarran Dreadnaught with main weapons "Disrupters, phasers, and plasma torpedos."

“Sir the group of ships is opening fire on the Dreadnaught”

“Then move the fleet away from the target they have not fired in fact they have only ran away like cowards all ships target the new threat I want the luxan ships attacking the green ships and the command carriers targeting the bigger gray white one the rest of the ships are free fire at any targets”

“New orders leave this target and take out the smaller fleet that appeared I want a direct starburst to that point”

Adrimal Meklon realizing he may of made a mistake in fireing on the peacekeeper force decides to open a worm hole to corrdinates Brakka-5 (Imperal Naval Base Contains most of Imperial Naval ships) however hopeing to uphold Imperial honor decides to leave Romulan Warbirds behind to hit and run peacekeeper force.

1 Battle Cruiser loses enignes and can not leave through Wormhole it sends a distress signal to sister ships but the Cloaked Warbirds are trained to ignore comrades that cry for help.

The ship still has weapons and 60% of shields It sends a call for help to the ally fleet. The ship also fires Yamato cannon and Phaser cannons at peace keeper forces for defense.

One leviathan is hit heavily damaged and drifting but the Talon gunships move in quickly and fire point blank shots from the heavy cannons they have

"Finally." The captain said.
"Engage hostiles, half barrage."

The ships swung round and began aquiring target lock, before opening up with half the missle tubes, sending 250 missles streaking toward the 'peacekeepers'.

The largest vessel, the City ship Hiigara, well over three hundred and fifty kilometres of colony, hung back from the main group.

Four Beta Class Dreadnaughts, ten kilometre long monsters of high powered weaponry; anti-capital ship and anti-fighter turrets, missiles, and armed with a withering battery of Planar Lances - Three each - the Dreadnaughts were the ultimate domination weapon.

Twelve Gamma Class Dreadnaughts, the smaller cousins of the ones striking towards the battle, were flanked by several warfrigates and their ilk, a veritable swarm of fighters, and enough firepower to route any enemy.

Oddly, they remained where they were, watching the ensuing battle with boredom.

'Well, it's not everyday we get to watch an intergalactic fight. All ships run silent and activate cloaking fields. Angels, launch and do a recon sweep, but don't get targetted by the enemy.' Came the captain's voice, as the ships around him suddenly disappeared. The Angels, modified Centurion class heavy fighters, went into the fray, lead by their pilots, the journalists would record this amusing bitch session amongst the stars.

The Hiigara couldn't cloak, but really didn't need to. Noone in their right mind would attack a colony ship of the UEC line. Where one went, its entourage was surely nearby.

The Deatharon Battlecruiser let another transmission for help out to anyone the ship was crippled and the cloaked Warbirds would not help for fear of losing tatical advantage. The Ship then fired a probe at the edge of the system then opened a Worm hole to Brakka-5 for help.

Everyone notices massive energy wormhole appear and the probe goes in.

The fleet moved into the Theao fleet firing most weapons at the battleships

The Crippled Deatharon Battlecruiser seeing a chance to escape tries to go into hyper space but the warp enigines cause a massive explosion destroying the Battlecruiser. The Warbirds just hide in cloak awaiting to launch the first attack run on the Command Carriers of the peacekeepers.

OOC: just to tell you cloak is over rated you cant have shields or weapons on line right away and the shields take time to bring up and a warbird is mostly for show they are very lightly armed for there size anyway im typing at school and don’t have word so I will edit this post when I get home

The Cloaked Warbirds leave the system to go back to Brakka-5 via a hyperspace jump and then opening a wormhole home. The Death armada was contacted in a few hours game time the Armada will be here.

I knew that the cloak is overrated but I was hopeing it would be a distraction for the peacekeepers.

OOC: Ouch! Don't know how i missed 3 pages worth of posting! + I will reply to a post or two about people exploring the planet.

Throughout the giant space ship battle the Quanskan watched from the surface of their planet, at the edge of their breathable atmosphere. They had never seen things of the strange metalic sort and were fasinated with the colored explosions and the oddities of the many incoming and leaving warp rifts. The beasts had gathered on the side of the planet that gave the best view of the ensuing fight and treated it as many humans treat a firework show. The herds had even brought the young to witness this obvious work of the gods. Rimno flapped his wings and struggled to keep his eyes aloft after a days worth of watching the spectacular show put on by the gods. A few females had already herded up the young and left as it was growing late. Rimno glanced over at Intimo.

"Interesting, I wonder what the gods are planning?" He said in the subtle tonals of the Quanskan language.

"I do not believe we can guess the gods intentions," replied Intimo.

The two remained to watch the spectacle as a huge fleet of UEC ships jumped into the action.

As the craft containing Bail continued on its course, Gualia changed her path to accomadate this strange intrusion. She gaped at the abstract metallic creature before her as she herded the young near her into the underbelly sack for protection. Then, wide-eyed she let out the cry of warning and many others echoed her cry across the area near her. She had just recently returned from the great space battle and was slightly anxcious as she would prefer the things above not come to the surface. She slowly circled the strange intruder and waited for the Protectors to arrive, they would scare off this oddity she reassured herself. She let off another warning cry and hoped the Protectors would arrive soon. She didnt want this thing becoming mad.

Meanwhile below the surface of the strange planet, Traviante paced on the floor of the Core area. He had recently received a report of the strange creatures come back from the gas probing, which was sent out a day before. The Great One glanced over at the mystical object in the center of the room. Perhaps it held the key, he mused. But whatever the truth, the fact was the creatures had a skin that had never been discovered before. Also he recieved report for Gorlianen that the Quanskan had come into contact with one of the creatures, possibly a child due to its size. Traviante did not want the Javiiane race to come off as 'irresposible' or 'malicious' but the creatures hadn't responded to his inquiry a day earlier and he hadn't decided what to do yet. The One raced through his mind. The answer to the child wasn't as obvious as it seemed returning it to the adults at once seemed like the right thing to do, especially before the barbarians on the surface did something stupid and injured it in some way. But as for the full grown creatures themselves... Traviante was at a loss for an answer to the deliema. It didn't seem that he was capable of comunicating with these strange creatures and now it seemed that not all of the creatures were not of the same 'pack', as many of them had begun to attack each other using smaller creatures that exploded upon impact. What a strange society! thought The One. They must train them from youth to complete their suicidal goals. How barbaric! But that was no matter, Traviante realized that the creatures had evolved much higher than any of their current technology. These creatures could survive the depths of space, and Traviante wasn't going to let them waste this opportunity. And after all, there was a youth a few kilometers above......

IC: the ships moved in firing at the battleships. as the talon gunships got into position the Dreadnaught and an Assault piercer attacked two battleships, each command carrier attacked a battleship, and the other four Assault piercers broke up in two groups attacking the other two battleships.
Then the gunships moved in randomly with the starburst and quickly picked targets. five of them moved in on the Supership the others fired at one frigate. then after they took it out they would move in on the supership as well. once the big guns were gone they would win quickly.

The fleet, having prepared for combat were caught less off gaurd then the hostiles might have wanted. The blows to the verious capital ships shields, rocked the ships damaging the shields and in the case of the battleship vs dreadnaught nearly overloaded the generator.

The corvettes spun on thier axis engage the talon gunships, each wing(9 ships) concentrating thier fire on one gunship and began pumping both laser and missle fire into their target.
The frigates split into two groups each one going after the two assault piercer ships that were tag-teaming a battleship.
The battleships that were presently staring down the carriers opened up with a full frontal barrage.
The dreadnaught(yours) was targeted by it's opposing flagship and began duking it out while the battleship and assualt ship was ganged up on by the two battleships.

just a heads-up, my dreadnaught has a unique shield, that is somewhat GM but has some serious weaknesses, if I have to use it I'll explain more fully, it's not active right now

OOC: just to tell you the Dreadnaught is not the flagship, it is the most powerful but not the flagship. It’s a Scarran ship but the Peacekeepers are mostly Sebacean and they use the command carriers.

IC: the gunships polled of there first targets after taking several hits from the corvettes now they were targeting the corvettes firing the heavy cannons and many shots hitting despite the corvettes fire the corvettes would not last long against the power of the gunships cannons

After the frigates moved in on the Piercers hundreds of Prowlers moved in firing at the frigates. The weapons were light but with so many shots they had a chance of overloading the shields of some of the frigates, but the piercers would need more backup.

The command carriers where made for combat and took the hits with relative ease and returned the battleships with there own barrage

The Scarran Dreadnaught barraged the other supership and the Piercer was aided by a large group of marauders, who like the prowlers would try to overload the shields of the battleships. The three moving leviathans moved in trying to help shield the piercer.

The Deatharon Armada arrives from the Wormhole far off from the two opposing forces. Grand Adrimal Cain hails the Peacekeepers and request a halt of hostillies or else.

Grand Adrimal Cain was normally a decent and patient man for a Deatharon Duke however a Deatharon Duke has none of these virtues. Grand Adrimal Cain orders the fleet to into Alpha formation Battle Cruisers front every thing else to the sides and Carriers in the middle and has the Imperial Marines land on the planet.

The Deatharon fleet seem to be acting like a shield for the shuttles that are heading to the planet.

'Tell the landers to start launching, I want a full science team down there in that biosphere.' The captain ordered.

'Also, decloak the Dauntless and have it run scans on active. Anything and everything it can get. Give it a squadron of the Acolytes and have them patrol the outer planetary layer.' On his command, the 350 metre long assault frigate, Dauntless deactivated the cloaking fields and began scanning actively, more than certainly alerting the other ships to its presence. The Acolytes fanned out, taking places at the ship's considerable flank.

Subtly, fifteen Landers - specially equipped heavy cargo vehicles broke from the main fleet and headed towards the planet via an outside orbit, taking advantage of the planet's natural bulk to hide the corona from their engines, and their atmospheric entry. Upon entry, they would try and find viable land and then perhaps begin rudimentary analysis. They hoped to have the Science team sheltered and studying within two or three hours.

OOC: is the planet high medium or low gravity it has to do with some of my aliens


OOC: The planet's gravity is equal to 1 and 1/2 of earths, due to a bit more mass from the organic coating.

IC: Jaftro heard the warning call echoing across the wavy ground of the planet. Jaftro echoed the call immediately and then began the process of locating the source of the call. Being a Protector he had to stop whatever he was doing and his most recent prey, a Kliftron, was most likely being fought over by ten different Oskivvs by now. He cursed the honor system that bound him and dropped low into a nearby forest of Noviium trees. A few fleshy protrusions scraped Jaftro on the head and he screamed with all three of his windpipes, a Quanskan curse of the worst kind. As the cries repeated themselves Jaftro flipped so that his belly faced the sky. With the sounds echoing off of the watery ground it was easy for him to locate the dirrection of the call and he flapped off in that dirrection. A few pulses later he arrived at the scene. He beheld the ultimately strange sight of Luetinant Bail's ship. Of course Jaftro had no idea it was a ship at all and his primitive mind instantly ran through all of the creatures he had fought so far as a Protector and this one didn't come to mind. He blinked and began to figure how he was to deal with this creature. Perhaps it wasn't a predator at all. But that was unlikely as almost all of the creatures on the world were predators. In fact, Jaftro couldn't remember the last time he had met anything that didn't kill to eat. But none of that mattered. Jaftro had a job to do and he scanned over the ship with his eyes. All creatures had a weak spot and Jaftro was determined to find this creatures. After a moments scanning Jaftro believed he should aim for the 'head' of the small animal. Jaftro positioned himself above the ship and slightly above it before speeding downwards towards the strangely transparent cockpit of the ship.

The squad was assembled, and the pods were prepared to acend The Great Entrance. Traviante was at the site to witness the launch as no travel above the surface had been takin in almost 21,000 introns. The soldiers of the long unused Pod Core stood at attention, which for Javiianes meant a deep bow with two tentacles in a half bent position while the rest were left to dangle below. The much publicized event had drawn the attention of the media and the reporters had arrived at the scene 20 pulses before the preparation had even begun. Damn media... grumbled The One to himself as he sat in his elevated, rippling chair. The rest of the soldiers filled into the pods and the media men pivoted their pulse projectors and emitted waves of organitrons to the thousands of Javiiane watching this event from their cozy homes. Traviante chuckled to himself at the small prank he had played on the public. He had announced that the soldiers were headed up to exterminate much of the hated Quanskan and not to retrieve the strange child creature that was wandering above. In fact, Traviante hadn't even told the masses of his involvement with the strange fleets and the public wasn't aware that anything out of the ordinary was going on. The massive expanse of The Entrance was above them and if one looked up you it would seem that you could travel forever and reach nowhere. At the end of the tunnel above was a bit of natural light about the size of a pen tip and could easily be blocked out by a tentacle held above ones sight feelers, not that it needed to be. The pods prepared themselves for the launch and at one side of the huge chamber was a portable control panel, set up by technicians who were busily running about. As they finally finished the control codes and other such technical issues the tentacles extended from the wavy, watery ground and rose the pods up for what seemed an eternity. Eventually the media men finished their reports and switched off their pulse projectors. Even the techies and skin nerds went home. After a few hours only the one remained to witness the tentacles retract. The men would do their jobs well he assured himself and slowly rose from his seat. It had been a long day.

The shuttles full to maximum capacity with 100,000 Imperial Marines scan the planet to see if it is safe to land and set up shop. The Marines are led by General Kirish.

The Deatharon Armada finished protecting the shuttles launch Imperial Interceptors at the Peacekeeper ships in an attempt to distract them from the planet.

OOC: To any and all fleets making landings on the planet I would like to stress the following characteristics of the planet.

1) The atmosphere is hard on ships and landing craft. Any ships/pods not designed for extreme turbulance will not be cabable of withstanding the heat as the atmosphere is much denser than most planets and causes excessive friction.

2) The land and water of the planet is completely reversed. The parts of the planet that look like water and have characteristics of water (waves) are solid and can be walked on, even while it visible moves and ripples beneath you. The 'land' is actually water, and reacts as water but in its natural state looks like smooth and hard ground so I would imagine that you would aim for the solid looking parts, even though in truth it would be water.

3) The Quanskan are most likely the first species you will meet and because of their tribal, shamanistic culture they will most likely treat you as strange creatures either as sent by the gods or devils and will possibly be hostile towards you.

4) Both Javiiane & Quanskan have never seen any type of metallic object and as such believe ships, pods, and other objects to be living creatures. Their tech base is entirely biological and even the Javiiane have no concept of 'guns'. Their form of weapons will be revealed if any fights occur. Lets just say that 'biological weapons' takes on a whole new meaning.

The Shuttles are combat shuttles and could probably handle most of the turbulance however they may still take heavy damage.

IC: The shuttles realizeing their mistake head back to the fleet however a shuttle holding 100 Marines crashes killing all on board.

IC: Meanwhile, 6 systems away, a small exploration ship with the colors of vilence, and the flag of the Imperium of raxis, dropped out of warp

The first corvette's shield collapse letting the fire rip into the hull, gutting the ship, before the rest of the corvettes began adopting a plan of attack by concentrating all fire on one gunship at a time.

As the fighters damaged the frigates shield, causing areas to fail before being reactivated, hull suffering some damage but nothing critical. The frigate PD systems opened fire on the fighters, the laser, flack missle and ballistic rounds began spewing rounds into the fighter swarms while the main weapon systems continued to pound the Piercers.

The command carrier rounds put strain on the shields of the battleships but failed to overload them, as the battleships returned fire.

The superdreadnaught took the blow from it's classmate before returning fire.
The battleship having scanned the leviathens detected no weapons continued working on taking out the threat before going after the unarmed craft.

The Captain of the Polteva(superdread) sent out a message to the hostile fleet.
"We ask that you accept a ceasefire as this battle is pointless and these others are attempting to claim the planet we appear to be fighting over."

When the corvettes changed tactics the gunships changed tactics when the corvettes got close to there targets they would starburst into a new position forcing the corvettes to brake into sepret groups if they wanted to hit the targets but it was to late for one gunship witch had became unconches

The one and only disabled leviathan had one plan up its sleeve it targeted a battleship firing on the assault piercer guarding the dreadnaught and without warning starburst into its exact position (this happened on Farscape in a command carrier the CC was destroyed)

The dreadnaughts continued to fire at each other as well as the battleships and carriers

Under frigate and battleships fire one Luxan assault piercer lost engine power but was still drifting two red a battleship the other piercer left the battleships and began helping the dreadnaught as well as the other two piercers that had been fighting

“Frell we cant keep starbursting like this not even gunships are supposed to do this with so little time between but I guess its for the best the gunships will live” said Bandos to himself

Admiral Dempar hated ceasefires but this commander of the enemy fleet had a point he could not ignore he opened a channel to the enemy fleet

“This is Admiral Dempar we accept but I can not promise you we will not attack you after we are finished with the others but then we may lose interest in the system”

As Captain Koss, the captain of the Polteva heard the message, he sent an order to the rest of the fleet to pull back and link up on the opposite side of the planet. Almost at the same time the remaining fleet warped out and warped in on the farside of the organic planet, primarily as a sign of 'goodwill'.

On board the Polteva, a company of marines as well as squad of ACS marines loaded into Viper dropships, as the sensors picked up the odd gravity and airpressure and determained the Vipers as standing the best chance. The Vipers launched from thier berths and streaked down to the planet, riding the turbulence. Once down (hovering about 15 meters off surface) the dropships began searching for any moving creatures, ground not inclueded, once over 'water*' near some unidentified aliens the marines dropped out of the ships ACSers leading the way.

Jaftro quickly changed course as the new creatures arrived. There were now four total creatures and the new arrivals were slightly larger than the original, perhaps they were adolescents, come to collect the troublesome youngster. But as Jaftro watched the new arrivals did not round up the youth and instead headed straight for the rippling ground. Upon touchdown the larger creatures let off strange signals that Jaftro had the ability to detect, but not understand. A few seeds came out of the creature and moved about on the surface of the planet. By this time five more Protectors had arrived at the scene and they were looking at Jaftro for dirrection. Glancing at the seeds, Jaftro decided to investigate and he headed towards the moving specks on the surface, his entourage behind him. As he slowly moved closer, the specks grew into a strange bipedal form that Jaftro did not recongnize. He stopped when he heard a strange noise come from one and it pointed what looked to be the closest thing to a pooka branch Jaftro had ever seen. However it was not a Pooka branch, and Jaftro discovered this the hard way. As he swopped over the head of one, it fell down. The rest of the pack had now assembled and were all pointing pooka branches and making strange noises. As Jaftro continued to woosh over them he heard a strange word that seemed to carry some meaning. One of the seeds in the pack let off a strange sound as his pooka branch let off a loud noise and a mixture of yellow and blue beams streaked through the air, clearly warning shots, but Jaftro had no concept of 'shot' in first place. At this point Jaftro came to the brilliant conclusion that the seeds had weapons of some sort instead of pooka braches, and he backed off, calling his pack with him, off in the distance a herd could be made out against the horizon and Jaftro wasn't about to let these seeds do any damage. He stared at them for a bit before he began to plan his defense. His small brain had just the capacity to realize that this might be an important event in the future, just before primal instict took over once more.

Gorlainen watched the pods accend from his chairman seat inside the council room. The reciever shut off abruptly and Gorlainen turned both sight tentacles to see what had caused the reciever to turn off. Traviante stood with a node in his hand, pointed at the reciever. Gorlainen immediately assumed the honorary position and The One scoffed at him.

"God, Gorlainen must you make this formal pose every time I meet you?"

"The Ritykal dictates that I must sir" he said from his 'kneeling' position.

"Yes, Yes," replied Traviante, obviously pleased with Gorlainen's common knowledge, which might I add, is available to anyone living on Kamnion. Goralinen payed the proper respects before rising. Traviante gave him a hard stare and spoke seriously.

"There is a matter of great importance I wish to discuss."

"Alright, let me clean up my office and I'll be there shortly."

"No, there is no time, you will come now." Gorlainen looked suprised but one could not deny The Great One his wishes and Gorlainen followed. Traviante led him through a series of passageways towards Traviante's private chambers. Gorlainen had never been inside and was slightly nervous, but Traviante veered off at the last moment, leading Gorlainen down an unknown passage. At the end Traviante pulled out a portable node and mumbled something while rubbing a feeler over its purple surface. A wall rippled and pulled itself down, out of the way for the two travelers. Traviante led the way with Gorlainen following, straight to the center chamber. Traviante moved out of the way and Gorlainen gave the human equivalent of a gasp, The Artifact was in its full glory on a small pedestal in the center of the room. He glanced at Traviante.

"What is the meaning of this? The Artifact? HERE? I thought...." Gorlainen traveled off and stared at the small item infront of him. On the pedestal was an item that possesed so much power, whole worlds could be destroyed. Gorlainen looked over at Traviante who would have been smiling if he had a mouth. "Tell me..." he said weakly. Traviante had alot of explaining to do.

OOC: yes all my aliens are humanoid but the weapons color is rong all Pulse weapons with the exseption of Luxan qualta blades fire yellow shots and the luxan weapon fires blue shots

The Death Armada reclaims the Shuttles and scans the planet with the long range scaners. The Death Guard (500 Elite Marines) use transporters to beam down to the planet.

I'll do Star Wars. But you'll need to fill me in on some information because I saw the movies when I was about 6 and haven't bothered to watch them again. All I know is Death Star blows stuff up, Hoth is some rebel ice base that gets destroyed, and Darth Vader is Luke's father. I least I think.

Rimno flapped above the remaineder of the herd. Many of their number had gone out to gather the other herds across the world. Something big was happening and all could tell, if only Rimno was intelligent enough to know what. The council would commence soon and they would hold their position above the spire, keeping their distance from the ever increasing numbers of pods and ships landing. Of course Rimno and the Quanskan herds were still throughly confused by the landings. The largest force of Protectors that had ever been grouped together was gathered a bit apart from the herd. Rimno slowly drifted in their dirrection towards a heated discussion. He knew that he soon would be involved, but first he had to convene with the other herd leaders and hear there opions on the matter. At last the herd was gathered in its entirity and the Leaders, Protectors, and Wise raised themselves above the masses of the herd towards Rimno. The council had begun. Rimno listened to each of the Leaders complaints of the new creatures arriving from the sky. It was obvious to Rimno that this was an act of the gods. For better or worse these creatures had arrived, and now it was his task to figure out what to do. After the Wise had finished speaking the Protectors came last. They presented their battle plan to the Herd Chieftan and awaited his decision. Rimno considered his options. On one wing he had the young to protect, and he could strike first at these invaders, possibly having the element of suprise. But he didn't know anything about how these creatures operated and from Jaftro's testimony it looked like the creatures spat out seeds, which ran around with small pooka branches that made loud noises and propelled yellow and blue streaks through the sky. On the other wing, Rimno could attempt to make contact with these creatures, although if their intentions were hostile he would be caught in their trap. Perhaps thats what they were expecting. Rimno wieghed the different courses of action and made his decision.

"Leaders, Wise, Protectors! I have choosen! We will head towards Jaftro's first spotting at the breeding grounds of Krilpym and take a flock of Protectors. A Wise will preside with you as will I to oversee the operation. Move to the breeding grounds and I will instruct you further there. As for the herd, it will remain here, if any more landings occur it is to move to the breeding grounds if it feels threatened. Otherwise, that will be all!"

The Leaders headed back to their respective flocks to inform the herd about their Chieftan's decission. For better or worse contact would now be made. Rimno hoped it was for better.

I.C.: On Ground.........

The Death Guard had landed via transporters. The leader L.T. Reamos was in a foul mood he was told to purge only the peackeepers not the locals. The high command only wanted to kill the enemy. Reamos gave an order to his Brothers, "Raise your cloaking shields and head 2 melos east (2 miles toward the peacekeeper location)We must purge them off the planet my brothers.It is the Emperors will!"The Brothers scream in unision, "It is the Emperor's Will!" The Predators 4 Massive hover tanks cloak as well. In seconds the small army of 500 Death Guard Marines and 4 predators dissapear from sight and head towards the peacekeepers with the goal of death.

OOC:

The Marines are Gentically engineered cloned soldiers raised to be the sword of the Emperor they are about 7 ft tall with a near perfect immune system and the strength of 20men each. The predator is a massive hover tank armed with a Point singularity cannon cloaking shields and 4 auto fire Disintegration blasters. The Marines are armed with rapid fire Disintegration blaster rifles and cloaking shields they also have Xintium armor and talk in commuicators in there helmets.
Think Warhammer 40k Space Marines without the Bolt guns plus the weapons the Imperial Marines can overheat very easily.

The Javiiane pods reached the top of The Great Entrance. Krillio checked the outside pulse monitor and to his suprise saw a huge herd of Quanskan. While staring at the reciever, he groped with a tentacle to his left and reached the proper node to open communications via organitron.

"Uh, guys, have any of you checked your pulse monitors lately?"

There was an eerie silence for a moment and then the nodes inside Krillio's pod responded. "Right, right, this doesn't look good. Can any of you see the young creature nearby? We need to capture it."

Krillio replied, "Thanks for stating the obvious Lamrain. By the way the creature is a trog away towards the south." Krillio added this last bit with a touch of pride at being able to locate the creature before the others.

"Afirmative, lets get down their and nab the creature. I'm tired of this ride already," said the Head of the group, Yultican. The group proceeded to travel towards the location of Bail's craft and the soon-to-come battle. As they aproached a sensor made a noise in Yultican's pod and he felt a node to recieve the information.

"Um, has anyone noticed all the readings around that youth? Theres something going on there, I think the Quanskans have arrived there first. We'd better get moving." The pods slowly made their way towards the craft and landed a few hundred multins (yards) off. Krillio didn't like the situation, Quanskans, A strange youth, and god knew whatever else. But he had a job to do and he sighed as he pushed open the sack of his pod. He was ready for whatever was out there.

Bail had seen it all some animal had knocked down a Scarran they had scared the animal off but he knew they would be back or at least they would run into them again

The fleet moved quickly toward the deatharon fleet

The Death Armada begins to use Omega Warhead Missiles on the Peacekeeper fleet these missiles make a small wormhole that phases through the armor into the inside of the ship the focus of the attacks is on the command carriers.

OOC: first you need to go threw the shields and you dont evin know if you can wormhole into my armor (yes you could but you should not just think that you can next the missiles beter not be very good at what they do because against my fleet it would be a godmod being my fleet has little defence against wormhole missiles

The Missiles are big slow and easy to hit before they hit you they are meant to make big ship go boom but they have to get to a certain range to wormhole and there is only 20 of them being launched so it is not godmodding. The Missiles are a massive armanent used to hit big targets. also we could only use 20 of them due to the fact only Battle Cruisers could use them and each only has two Turrets only hold one in each. thus ten Battle cruisers 20 missiles.

IC: On ground.........

L.T. Remaos spotted a group of natives and decided to tell his men. The Marines watches the natives and decides to follow them they seemed to be heading to the target anyway. L.T. Remaos made a mental note to destroy them after the enemy was purged from this world. The Predators were in stealth mode as well the small Army was invisable but as the L.T. realized if these things had a strong sense of smell the cloak could be foiled best keep at a distance he told his men through intercom in helemt.

OOC: I don’t know much about the missiles so I hope this will be ok with you

“Ok then send in the Prowlers and take them out also tell them to keep there distance if they move slow and there are only a few of them they are most defiantly not something a normal cruiser would carry”

The fighters moved in on the missiles firing at them from a distance. Several missiles were destroyed and with them several prowlers that had been to close. Soon only one missile was left and it was near the fleet. Just then a talon gunship moved in and fired its cannon destroying the missile. But the explosion had knocked the shields out


“Now move the fleet in have the dreadnaught take out that big gray white one”

“Yes sir”

The fleet opened fire on the enemy fleet most firing on the star destroyer

At the same time hundreds of Marauders made there way down to the planet planning to land near Bails group

The Deatharon fleet unleashes a volley of Alpha warhead missiles. These small fast warheads go flying at the peacekeeper fleet while the 10 Yamato cannons from the Imperial Battlercruisers fire at the dreadnaught the Tie intercerptors attack the mauraders that are going for the planet and the protoss intercetors harass the peacekeeper fleet. The Imperial star destoryer is takeing a beating but is dishing it back with its heavy phazer cannons. The point singularity cannons are being fired at the Talon gunships and the main phazers of the fleet are attacking the command carriers of the peacekeepers.

The Theao fleet was watching the battle with interest, as the Nebarri had already taken damage, it would be interesting to see how they did against the Deathron fleet.

Grand Adrimal Cain sends a transimission to the Theao fleet asking them to attack the Peacekeepers from behind to finish them off once and for all.

The Polteva sent a message to the Deathron fleet:
"While we would love to aid in rendering the Nebarri powerless, at the present time it would be illegal as well as dishonourable as we have a contract reguarding hostilites between our fleets."

Grand Adrimal Cain looks at the response with mix emotion it was good these people were honorable but the fact they would waste a golden oppurtinty to crush and enemy confused him. Cain hailed the Theao fleet and thanked them for the responding and said sorry for not talking longer but there is a war to fight.

The Deatharon fleet is trying to flank the peacekeeper fleet using the warbirds as a decoy.

OOC: Ok sorry for the confusion if I am causing any as I, myself, am confused. I'm having trouble trying to keep track of all of my characters alone so the space battles I tend to skim. I'm sorry if I missed a landing by you Theo and I will re-read for a bit to find it and respond. My Death Guard Elite 500 Marines and 4 Predator tanks landed via transporters. The Marines and tanks are following the aliens to the peacekeepers while in a cloaked from sight if the aliens have a strong sense of smell they will be able to sense the Marines and the tanks.

The marines are like space Marines in 40k
think 7 ft tall humans with the strength of five men.
execpt with cloaking shields and rapid fire blaster rifles.
The tanks are armed with one Point singulartiy cannon and four auto fire blaster cannons.

On board the Polteva, a company of marines as well as squad of ACS marines loaded into Viper dropships, as the sensors picked up the odd gravity and airpressure and determained the Vipers as standing the best chance. The Vipers launched from thier berths and streaked down to the planet, riding the turbulence. Once down (hovering about 15 meters off surface) the dropships began searching for any moving creatures, ground not included, once over 'water*' near some unidentified aliens the marines dropped out of the ships ACSers leading the way.

A herd of Quanskans was busily feasting on a pack of huge Hormigands, which had recently been slain by the Protectors of the herd. They were completely unaware of the events of the Chieftan, on the other side of the planet. As night was about to fall the Leaders of the pack called an end to the feast and the Quanskan floated into the air, from the corpses of the gigantic Hormigands. A strange light enveloped the sky as the Wise rose up to address the herd and the Theo fleet phased into view in the now emerging stars. The whole mass of the herd turned their whole manta-shaped bodies towards the strange creatures. The Wise muttered to himself and excited chattering among the herd commenced. A few ships were launched from the fleet and they streaked toward the planet. The Protectors formed a rough wall of bodies infront of the children and females as the wise flew back and forth along the defensive perimeter. As the night was about to fall the masses of Quanskan moved aside for the new ships that were now incoming and waited carefully for the new creatures to act first.

After the marines and ACS troops finished deploying from thier Vipers, the leader of the ACS, and overall leader of the mission, activated his loudspeaker system "We come in peace, do not be alarmed."

OOC: Hearing is your issue. Quanskans have stellar hearing and can hear things from a mile away. However smell isn't an issue. Quanskans don't have a sense for smell. But they have natural infarred vision so watch yourself when night falls.

IC: Kilnajo watched the strange creatures land on the surface of the planet. Night finally fell when the creatures were done spewing out numerous sizes of pods and seeds. As Wise of his herd it was his job to oversee it in the absence of the Chieftan. He looked at the small number of creatures and believed he could take them, as he had a 3 to one numbers advantage. However one of the seeds pulled out some smaller object, too small to make out and a loud noise came out from it. The strength of it screamed in their sensitive ears and the Quanskan writhed in pain from the echoing loud speaker. Kilnajo decided that these creatures were definately hostile, somewhere inside his brain that was still recovering from the sound barrage. The Protectors got the message and released themselves from their protective wall. A few swooped down over the small encampment of soldiers and attempted to knock them down with the strong beating of wings over their heads, standard tactics. Hopefully the small seeds would fall back to their larger creatures and leave. If not Kinajo would be forced to take more extreme measures. He wasn't sure he wanted to do that.

Rimno lead his probing force towards Bail's craft. He had noticed more creature that had landed nearby before phasing out of view but he didn't stop there. All of the group knew that seeds behind them were following. Though invisible, they seemed to lack knowledge of the extreme hearing sensitivity of the Quanskan. Something that they might possibly live to regret, thought Rimno. As he neared the sense of commotion Rimno saw something that made him stop cold. A small force of Pod Core Javiiane forces had landed not two hundred yards to the west. He considered what to do as they small squad of Javiiane warriors slowly made their way towards the youth infront of him. During his pondering about one hundred more Youths of the strange creatures came crashing down to land near the first. Soon thousands of seeds had spilled out onto the surface and Rimno had seen enough. He did not want to get on these things bad sides. By this time he had come to the conclusion that the seeds were possibly intelligent and he marveled at the intelligence of the sprouting babies. He didn't think that they would be capable of what they were doing but he watched in suprise as the small seeds formed up and began moving around with a purpose. Throughout all of this the Javiiane forces had moved closer and were using a ship as cover between the seeds and the Quanskans. Rimno had had enough. He ordered his forces to retreat and they risked the attack of the strange invisible creatures behind him. But there was no way Rimno was going into that mass. He hoped the seeds would take care of the Javiiane for him. But he doubted it. This was going to be an interesting day he thought as he flapped away with his scout pack.

Krillio slithered at full pace towards the closest strange creature. Hundreds had just rained from the sky and they were now surrounded. Seeds began to pour out of each young creature and he hoped they wouldn't notice him and the group. They all stood with their backs to one creature and hoped it wouldn't feel them. It felt hard and cold, all the more strange to the Pod Core members.

"Alright any ideas?" he said. Somehow The One had expected them to capture one of these young ones. He guessed The Great One hadn't anticipated the birth of all these seeds so fast. Noone knew what to do and they all nodded their eye tentacles a no. Yultican was running out of options and was out of ideas. The group stood their for a bit and hoped they wouldn't be spotted. They were now throughly screwed.

L.T. Remaos saw the aliens head back towards them on intercom he ordered his men and tanks to get out of their way and not to engage. The Men prayed that the aliens were not able to sense them. The Tanks were on combat defense in front of the Marines as protection.

As the unknown aliens seemed to writhed in pain from the 'come in peace message' the commander of the ACS sent a message to the commander of the reg marines.
"It seems these creatures are extremely sonically sensitive. I've given the order to the other ACS that should they be attack all out to blast out the, oh so popular Wagnerian song, Ride of the Valkeries at full volume."

As the few winged aliens swooped in and began flapping the wings over the marines head's, one of them raised thier rifle, before his sargent stopped him as the nearest ACS suit turned and started playing Pat Benatar's 'Invincible" at full volume.

Scarran: very hard to kill they have to good advantages 1. There skin is very hard to penetrate you can empty a clip of lasers into them and they will still be alive long enough to shoot at you and blades are useless 2. They have a heat gland in their hands so if they grab someone they can instantly give them a shot of 250-degree blast of heat

Admiral dempar got the message but waited for the answer he soon picked up the deatharon transmission to the fleet and de coded it

“Ha! they fired on us first how can they dare support this if we tell the other fleet of whats happened”

“Zenneth ships we are the peacekeepers we picked up the message the enemy sent you we would first like to tell you that they fired on us first if you will help us destroy them we will let you have the system without are interference”

The Deatharon code interceptor capture this transmission and responds

As the Polteva command crew listened in on the transmissions some of them began laughing as the Captain mentioned, "What a tangelled web they weave."

“What they have just said is not the truth. The allies they speak of insulted some of are people. We tried to intimidate them but then there fleet showed up and fired on are ships. they fired first not us!”

We await further explanation into the past of this conflict to determine whom we will ally with.

"I wonder if the Zenneth, will think of asking us what happened as we know the story, as we were the direct and indirect cause of it." The Captain mused as he called up a music/video clip that he felt liked watching.

Meanwhile, nearer to the equator and under much quieter conditions, the fifteen landers performed their operations, and hovered over the flat water in amusement. They were quite surprised to find that the flat surface they had planned to land in was water. Some kind of harmonized motion from the surrounding biosphere kept the water very still. The water was unnaturally still.
A probe was launched into that glassy still surface, a tiny ripple the only sign of its passing.

The Landers had a sensor array that put all combined fleets fighting in the skies above to shame, and put that edge to good use.

The noted seismological recordings, the huge amount of tremulous recordings of the 'surface' and something much larger, far below, seemed to shock the science teams.

What really surprises me, Wrote one scientist, is that the Planet itself has absolutely no active plate tectonics. The Biomass seems to absorb the kinetic energy from the core and magma, and transforms it into power and heat. The entire planet is one gigantic geothermal station. Powering what, I can only guess at. We have discerned some of the biomass, and it seems that the constant undulation of the material is some kind of dispersion. Obviously the planet has much more power than can be used by whatever's below.

The Landers hovered over the undulating landscape, taking scans where possible or necessary, before the ships split into three different groups tackling three different aspects of the planet.

One group would link up on the seas, performing depth scans and probe the 'sea' further. This would include using Float drives and myriad deep scans to preserve the state of the water.

One group would record extensive sensor logs of the air and its content, from the polar regions to the equator. Also, if possible, they would try and find ice samples - of a time before the biological occupation. Hopefully there would be traces of what the biosphere was like.

And the last group would attempt to land. No easy task. The constant motion of the surface would mean there wouldn't be any way to set up a terrestrial station. So they would have to use the approach the ocean-going group would: Float a minimum of fifteen metres above the surface and use probes and scanners.

It is biological in nature, similar to plant life, but it gives off some interesting readings. Noted the botanist. When pressed, she said it was too early to make any sort of assumptions on the material, and continued working.

The Marines aboard, however, gave their disapproval.

Like Kiriid! (Kiriid was the training planet in the OPT.) Heavy, hot and huge. Noted one private.

One problem noted was the denser atmosphere - Lander 12 (Of the Ocean going group) noted that a sloppy insertion angle had banged up the cargo some, including twenty pissed off marines and a biological containment container. It was promptly recycled, and the ship continued happily on its way.

So far so good.

OOC: Check my tech level, my size, and then calculate just how long my second nation - This one - has been around. I've had a lot of time to develop my sensors and weapons and a whole lot of stuff. My nation grew and evolved. Xenonier is one of the only FT nations with sensors more discerning. Not arrogance, just truth.

L.T. Reamos noticed the new aliens were scaring off the aliens. They were following and worse there were alot of them. The aliens seemed to be coming are way and were in a military like formation. The Marines use smoke launchers(think rocket launchers that shoots smoke canisters and makes a giant smoke screen) and shoot it in the middle of the advanceing aliens while still in cloak.

OOC: As the man said, I'd be much more worried about my Dreadnaught compliment's heavy weaponry. For Reference, I'm using modified Homeworld 2 (PDS) ships. OOC: Javiiane are equiped with certian weapons and detection devices; there natural abilities do not include sensitive hearing, or smell. They have an intuitive sense of feeling with which they can feel vibrations and determine origions of materials they touch. For instance, the Javiiane can feel vibrations of people walking on the surface, even through the wavy 'ground'. While the Javiiane forces have their backs pressed against one of the landing pods from Nebarri they can feel all movements, energy transfers, and other such things going on inside the ship. The area of the excessive feeling extends about 30 feet and anything beyond that they must rely on their other senses (ie. sight, hearing, etc.) Cloaking, unless it distorts vibrations or shadows from movement detection in some way, doesn't stop the Javiiane from almost precisely locating the cloaked whatever as long as it is in range, otherwise they are just as clueless as humans without detection systems. Flying things are not subject to the feelings of the Javiiane unless they emit flames or propulsion that is detectable by heat/cold or some other feeling. If you could feel the heat from the blasts of whatever is making it go then the Javiine can feel it from much farther away, about half a mile. Thats about it. I'll describe the weapons on my Javiianes now.

1) Organitron projector/reciever - Basically a radio but it must have two parts to function. The reciever and projector act as the name implies, if one is destroyed (say the reciever) then that member cannot recieve information, but can send it out. This is the biggest flaw in the Javiiane military. The recievers and senders are usually located on the creatures backs, inside a small, square object.

2) Emissions - Emissions are small, portable, hand-held gassers. The gas that comes out is toxic to all life signs and anything biological, thanks to the development from the Six Skins Council. It is controlled by the same micro-organisms that controlled the output towards the ships on a larger scale. Although the output at the ships wasn't designed to kill...

3) Thermosuckers - An interesting weapon known as a 'sucker' for short. It operates by drawing some of the thermo energy being used up in the outer bio-layer of the planet. It then uses this energy to form small pellets of the watery 'ground' up into itself. Then, the sucker propells the pellets with blasts of heat towards their targets. Essentially a biological 50 cal, the sucker needs about 1 min to set up the thermo-'sucker' part. Once that is in place an additional min is needed to attach the firing half to the absorber. This is a Javiiane heavy weapon and can be considered equivalent to 40k Heavy Bolters. A squad usually carries one of these, although two people split the load (one with firer, one with sucker).

4) Granitor - A compact rifle-like weapon. It operates in roughly the equivalent of 3-shot bursts of a material that is 'mined' from the upper layers of the planet, inside the extensive cave system. Once extracted from the area, the metal is processed and formed into small 'bullets'. The semi-organic metal draws from its half alive part for input on its environment and the organism that actually lives on the metal is involved in its 'thinking' process. The energy to fire the weapon is drawn from this small bacteria that 'thinks' for the metal. A node is touched with a feeler and the proper anxiety chemical is released from the feeler into the weapon. The weapon stimulates the bacteria to 'think' with the energy from the user. With the bacteria thinking and the users input the weapon discharges, sending the metal hurtling towards the desired target. Also, all of the other weapons function via node technology to fire, so human and other alien creatures cannot activate the weapons unless they have a Javiiane to operate it for them, or they can find the proper chemicals to apply to the weapon. However this isn't practical as you would need to continually apply it to keep the weapon firing.

OOC: I really don't have time to post, I have tons o papers to write so I'll just sumarize reactions.

Deatharon: Just curious, did you fire on the Quanskan or Javiiane? If Quanskan Rimno orders them to run and takes fire while flying back to the herd, if you pursue accept that most of your men will get bitten to death by masses of Protectors. If you fired on the Javiiane then they detect your 'cloaked' men immediately. Two would group to set up a sucker. Messages would be sent to the men to fire on sight. They would group around the sucker and fire off shots from emissors and surround your men with the gasses. Standard tactics. They would then fire off some rapid fire with the sucker before you get too far away to detect. Hopefully by this time alot of casualties have been inflicted on your part. They would then cover the men with the sucker while they pack up and move deeper into the Nebarri landing fleet for protection. If anyone in Nebarri decided to fire at the Javiiane they would immediately return fire and head for the pods they came in on. Thats about as far as I'll go with that. For refererance this is the stats/weapons of the Javiiane Pod Core near the Nebarri landing.

-A 20 'man' Pod landing squad
-All have an Emission.
-All have a Granitor with 2 full reloads.
-All have communication capablities (both organitrons)
-2 members of the squad carry seperate halves of a sucker, fully primed and ready to go on a moments notice

Theao: The Quanskans writh in pain at the blast of music coming from your landing party. They fall to the ground slowly as their bouyancy sacks deflate and would then writh on the surface. If you continue to blast music they will die. Mind that this is an entire herd so about 3000 huge Quanskan are slowly floating down ontop of your men. If you stop playing they will re-group about 2 miles south and discuss plans on counter-attacks or avoidance measures. Also, the other detachment from the Javiiane Pod Core is headed toward your landing force. They have orders to intercept a 'youngster' (One of your landing craft) and to bring it back for studies. They aren't too likely to react peacefully unless they see a way to further their own goals.

Once the flying beasts stopped attacking the ACS shut off its speakers and if the beasts left then they the marines let them go, and if they tried to re-attack they just blasted the speakers.

We fired the smoke launchers at the Quanskans but we did not use lethal force. We will not pursue but fall back away from the incomeing Javiiane.

The Marine Probe, shaped like an ungainly Portugese Man'O'War, pierced the glassy surface of the ocean, its advanced sensory array bundles trailing haphazardly through the water, before specially fitted impeller drives began to pull the machine away, creating a rhythmic pulse in the deathly silent depths.

'Definitely denser than pure water, biological particles certainly present. Ambient temperature is around the 50 degree Celsius mark. I'm checking for aquatic life... LADAR and Sonar returns... Whoa.'

OOC: I'm going to say that the machine has spotted the surface below, but I want some background information on the consistency of the first sea, and the mass below. Is that good?

The Deatharon fleet tries to move away from the planet and scans it from a distance in attempt to locate all landed parties includeing their own.

ooc: I don't mind if you see my LP, but just a word of reference you are trying to find either 40 men, or 3 shuttles that are about 1.5X the size of the challenger shuttle.

((OOC: The Landers are pretty big on their own - about 50 metres long by 25, resembling snubnosed boxes, with a configurable payload. They have the ability to link up into groups of five, creating stable platforms for whatever purpose they've been given today. You should get strong returns from the ships over the sea, but I'm not sure whether your sensor returns will be baffled by the surface. Ask Soviet Germussia. The ships near the pole will be flying in formation for another few hours, so blah.

On another note, I've been going back over the last few posts, and I agree with Nebarri Prime, it did sound a little arrogant, so I'm sorry it came out like that. It's a point of pride for the Colonists that they've come so far and gained so much.

I guess what I'm trying to say is I've been acting very stupid and immature, size and power does not equal maturity. I plan to turn over a new leaf and get as much good going in the roleplays, and less treading on everyone's fingers. So, yeah. Sorry that it took me so long to realise that.

OOC: Alrighty. Ocean. The bottom of the of the oceanic area is the bio-organic metal that is used in Granitors. It consists of a small parasitic organism that feeds off of the metal itself and controls it to an extent. There is an expansive system of 'coral reefs' under the surface although they are a strange neon green color with odd red spots that extend from them and many of them are see-through. There do not appear to be any other signs of life under the surface but your scanners are useless in detecting biological material as everything reads alive (organism inside the metal) Visually you can see the bottom where you are but nearby a huge cliff drops off and no light reaches downwards into the depths. Sonar reads show a massive maze of crevaces and rock formations in the depths but they aren't visible. They seem to be at least a hundred kilometers under. There isn't anything remarkable about the area your probe is in. It looks remotely like an Earth shallow area about 30 miles off the coast. Under the surface visiblity is clearly tinted purple and the bottom appears to be purple, but that may just be the 'water' coloration. The bottom isn't pulsing like the surface and appears to be solid. Other than that it doesn't appear to be special.

Scanning - All scanning for biological things (people in landing parties, etc.) will fail immediately because the whole planet reads as a huge bio-mass. However, ships from landing parties, apart from the Javiiane Pods, read amazingly easy against the organic background. Ships over water (solid looking areas) are slightly harder to detect but non-the-less rather easy. The planet has no magnitism and as such the poles don't interfere with scanning. The poles are slightly colder than the rest of the planet but not as extreme as Earth, due to the release of energy from the pulsing 'ground'. Also, Quanskan herds read easy on visual feeds due to their MASSIVE size (at least 5,000 adult Breeders in one herd). They are a good indication of the rough area of landing parties.

The probe plunged deeper into the water, now spotting diaphinous structures and cave systems so detailed it was hard to tell which was biological and what was the advent of random terrain...

The Marines fall back useing cover fire from the Predators on the Quanskan to fall back towards their landing zone.

Rimno quickly flapped back to the herd. After the smoke launcher attack, which Rimno obvously had never seen before, he was shaken a little. The remaining Protectors arrived back at the main herd while two reconnasance parties headed out to skirt the edges of the Nebarri landing party, where the Javiiane were taking cover. The mission objectives had suddenly changed quite a bit. There were Javiiane involved now. The scout groups did a few circles around the hundred or so landing craft and took into account where the Javiiane were, about in the middle. That would make things interesting. Upon reporting back to the herd Rimno took his place on the frontline and rose high enough to get a good view of the surroundings. The youths were near a Malkin forest towards the south. Possibly they could use that for cover as they approached the strange creatures in their attack on the Javiiane. Rimno spotted the other landing craft that had dropped the 'cloaked' troops in. He decided to post forces near it to interfere with anything that creature might decided to do (like take off). This was quickly turning ugly. Rimno hopped it would be over soon.

Krillo was convinced that they were surrounded. Inside of the group of youth creatures they came to realize that the 'youths' were several times larger than thought. But they had to capture one. Yultican glanced at Krillo looking about forlornly and motioned for him to come back.
"Heres the deal, were going to have to inside one of those creatures, let it eat us or something. It looks like thats what the seeds are doing and I think we'll have to do the same." Krillo stared back as his sight tentacles paled. "But... You can't...I..." Krillo stared at him pleadingly as the others slowly realized what their commander was suggesting. Lamrain was tired with waiting. "Fine then lets get it over with stop killing yourself Krillo." They prepared to board a Nebbarri landing craft.

The Marines radio via comms back to guards of the ships to fire on any alien life near the ship. The defensive cannons of the ship fires on anything that moves that dose not have an Imperial signial on his armor. (This is standard when marines get into a fire fight.) The Marines notice the Javaline but decided to avoid them and let them go near the Peacekeepers.(hopefully they will destroy each other Reamos thought.)

1) The quote you are using, Nebarri, is referring to my Javiiane forces that landed in their pods from underground. They are the octopus people. The Quanskan are the guys that are flying around and look remotely like manta rays with two tails.

2) Theao I am sorry about lack of posting on the other side of the planet. I really don't have time to post about that but I promise you the next post I make will be about exactly that.

The Deatharon armada has interceptors surevey local area looking for area to land main force.

The Wise finally regains conciousness as the loud noise ceases. These creatures obviously weren't here peacefully, and they didn't mean well. Kilnajo glanced at his herd, particularly the Protectors. Most were currently recovering and if you spoke Quanskan you would here a bunch of suprised shouts and other such utterings. However to the marines in the landing party below it would sound as if all hell had broken loose, such is the tone of the Quanskan language. Kilnajo let out a piercing cry to the herd, instructing them to follow him and as the remaining Quanskans pulled themselves out of the sound-engaged stupor, Kilnajo led them south, and more importantly, away from the new creatures. It seemed obvious that these creatures were capable of traveling beyond the skys, due to their stellar entrance, and Kilnajo wasn't ready to get on the bad side of a creature like that. He had to plan his action. The mass of the herd had now begun to move and Kilnajo did an elegant flip backwards to see the herd. Apparently some females were having trouble adjusting back to thought after the all-piercing sound blast. But thats when Kilnajo realized they weren't just floating around aimlessly. They were gathered around something. He positioned himself to get a better angle on this new unknown, and saw something he rather hadn't. In the circle of females was a dead Youth, barely old enough to be called a Youth. Upon closer inspection of the following herd, Kilnajo realized that all of the Youths, and younger Quanskan had been killed, or a least severly injured during the blast. An alien hormone rose with the Wise. It would be the equivalent of anger in a human. As emotions welled up inside of him the Wise turned to the Leaders and let out another bellow, another call, to notify the herd of the death of Youths. The second blow he let out told the herd to again follow him, and Kilnajo moved steadily south with his trailing pack.

The channel was opened. As the water material rushed in, Gorlianen watched in shock. He had seen channels, in old videos of life on the planet above. He never imagined he would see one now, because there was no water in the tunnels of the planet. He vaguely recalled that ancients had built boats out of the tree-like objects on the surface to navigate the gigantic oceans. Triviante tapped a node beside the entrance and another hole opened in the wall near the channel of water, now mostly calm. Gorlainen gasped as more water sloshed out and one of the ancient boats floated out into the middle of the water way.
"Are you sure it will work?" he asked.
"Sure as the Quanskan will eat he replied.
"Well then lets get it on with" Gorlainen said as he stepped into the boat.

OOC: Your quote above is refering to Theaos landing party and the Quanskan reaction as they are 'boomboxed into submission' + my last statement specifically says that my next post would be about Theaos landing party. Just a heads-up.

As the aliens moved away from the marines and ACS soldiers, one of them who happened to be tracking the alien main group noticed the corpses.
"Sir, it appears these aliens are far more sonically sensitive than previously thought. It appears that last blast may have killed off some of the small and presumably younger members."
"I guess it couldn't be help what with not knowing the aliens biology. If we figure out how to talk with then we'll have to make a major apology. Also if we come up against these, use either lower volume or guns."

The troops on the ground headed toward another cluster of aliens, type unknown, with the shuttles providing overhead support and sensor tracking.
