(EarthII) under the pretext of liberating zeeelands interests in the modovian rebel province of tranistria on thursday 31st March 2005 zeeeland has launched an invasion attempt on the now troubled area of moldovia which is in (decree 12 mode on earth II) at the moment. Tsar Sputnik IV and the nation in a spout of national euphoria over the recent annexation of niue to the empire were ready for another aquisition :)

The ground force consists of:

100,000 imperial infantry (regular)

25,000 imperial infantry (elite)

25,000 elite forces.

5000 tank/artillery personnell
800 KRUEGER heavy battle tanks, Imperial artillery division. 2000 zill 88 artillery trucks,

6000 airforce personell , normal array of migs. 2000 mig fighter force.

The invasion began 00:00 hours friday morning. after 5 years of mobilising this was it. what the big wigs at the zeeeland war department called the final "payoff" which many people think is a culmination of the military buildup in zeeeland over the past decade. Zeeeland Imperial infantry march into moldovias borders first "red army style" taking the border guards entiely by suprise. and soon were completely overewhelmed. forces were gathering inside the moldovian border now. preparing for an assault on the moldovian cityand transitrain capital of tiraspol. 45km away. Zeeeland forces hope their tranistrian "friends" are as hospitable as they said they were

the day of invasion went good with sporadic bouts but ultimatly confused bursts of resistance from moldovian troops on the way to tiraspol.they were relatively easily put down by the regular infantry forces of zeeland who used the overwhelm overpower military technique. elsewhere zeee forces did suffer their first casualties as a woman in the occupied border village of bondrenko suicicide bombed a parked zeee armoured division. this would be a testament to the rebel capability for resistance. it was estimated that five troops died in the blast. zeee forces are scouting out any other resistance in that village. but have strict orders not to persecute any citizen of moldovia as the military command hopes to maintain relations with the people of moldovia.

first week of invasion: Zeee elite infantry supported by the airforce and aritllery were consolidating zeeelands hold on moldovia. with pockets of resitance beeing slowly but surely eradicted. the border zone is almost controlled. current casualty lists: zeeeland: 150 infantry regular, 45 elite infantry. two krueger tanks destroyed.

Molovia rebels: 850 rebels killed, 2500 captured.

Its the end of the first week of the Invasion. general Ogregan of zeeelands invasion force Infantry division proclaims that the whole east territory of moldova is taken exept for tiraspol. Tranistrian partisans were particulary helpful in ousting moldovian forces in the area but zeee troops stepped in when a transistrian splinter group got out of control and started burning and pillaging moldovian villages. The moldovian army has lost heavy casualties against the powerful zeee artillery air force combination (which is also known as a blitzkrieg) around the outskirts of tiraspol. but it is reported moldovian commander of the area colonel Mifov told his army they will fight to the last man. which quite rightly they did. general Ogregan paid his respects to the now fallen colonel mifov who died running into a hail of rapid bullet fire from zeee troops. despite many attempts to get him to surrender without any further loss to his men. without mifov the resistance in the area crumbled. leaving the road to tiraspol bare..........

Moldovian casualties too numurous to count

Zeee elite forces meneuvered into the city expecting little resistance from their "allies"......... which is what they got. zeee troops received a heros welcome in the streets of tiraspol. citizens of tiraspol now began angrily tearing down the statue of their soon to be "ousted" dictator. who was governor of the region originally but assumed dicatorial powers in the vaccuum when the empire that ran this country left. His name is Janek maximanovich. By the end of the day the Zeeeland army had secured tiraspol.

States Dictator Janeks minister for propoganda, Ivan Ranko. on moldovian state tv. when suddenly a Zeee Ax267 Air to ground smart missile launched by a bomber on a suprise raid on kishinev destoyed the propaganda building killing Ranko with it....

The road has begun to Kishinev. Zeee military forces are gaining full strength around the area. It is now almost the end of the second week of the Invasion. and the bomber raid which destroyed the propaganda building with Propaganda minister Ivan Ranko with it was a considerable plus. It is rumoured Janek has fled the capital city Kishinev and is planning to leave the country. and not stay and fight to the last man with his countrymen as he stated he would on national modovian tv last night. Zeeeland manufactured KRUEGER heavy Tanks are mopping up the last traces of resistance in the area. General Ogregan claims that now 3/4 of moldovia is "secured". forces have moved to whithin 20km of the capital

Zeeeland military forces received a mixed welcome when they arrived in kishinev the capital. the moldovian people tired of a oppressive regime seemed to welcome their "liberators" however the releif brought by this soon faded as zeee Infantry clashed with the remnants of the modovian republican guard (their "elite" forces) around kishinev suburbs. it is believed they are guarding moldovian president Janek around the presidential compound.... resistance was heavy and by the first day in kishinev zeee infantry lost around 25 troops. with 5 civilians getting blown up under dubious circumstances by moldovian republican guards

Janeks prime minister, Ivan dudkof surrendered today. bringing with him a contingent of Janeks former "right hand men" this heralded the collapse of Kishinevs resistance and by mid afternoon zeee forces consolidated their hold on the capital. all moldova is now taken with president janek having no where to hide.........

a week after taking Kishinev Zeeelands Tsar Sputnik declared that moldova is an intregal part of the Zeeeland empire and will remain so. International recognition of this should hopefully follow. After this the Tsar declared a weeks holiday for his people. and rewarded himself with a months debauchery.......
