Guilder, Parthian, Guffingfordian Embassies Stormed! [Attn embassy holders]

29th March, 2005, Stizy Stovgorod, Embassy Road
Maybe the ambassadors noticed it and maybe they didn't, but even if they did hear or see the column of Warrior IFV's, humvee's, and trucks rumbling down the street there was nothing they could do - overhead helicopter blades sliced back and forth at unmatched velocities as the helicopters searchlights scanned the darkness for any form of lifesign trying to escape. The convoy ground to a halt as the commander of the regiment, Major Alkastrev, hopped out of his lead tank and stood on the turret, as squads of soldiers embarked out of vehicles behind him and aimed their weapons at the doors, windows, and other escape exits of the embassy. Specialised assault groups with submachine guns, shotguns, and handguns moved into position, heavy body armour clanking against other parts of their uniform and their helmets locked tight in position. Machine guns and rifles were aimed at nearly every spot of the three embassy, each in a row: construction had labelled them "The RWC Building Lot" as the government had assumed this time would come. More helicopters took off from a nearby landing pad and the word overkill came to mind as heavy tanks ground into the streets moving towards the embassy area. The whole place was surrouded.
Alkastrev fumbled with what looked like a pistol holster, except much much bulkier, on his leg, and from it produced a microphone.
"Enemies of the Soviet Union, you have five minutes to present yourselves in an orderely fashion before we will take you from your rooms by force. Do not attempt to leave armed or try to escape; you will be shot."
In addition the communication lines to the three embassies had been cut and equipment like cell phones were being bounced back to a receiver in a nearby Radar Station.

As things began to get rather interesting outside, Centurion Gaius looked a little worried. The two guards outside the white pillared building looked a little concerned... they weren't wearing their usual combat gear but their Black dress uniform. It didn't help their guns were loaded with a single clip of non Guilder standard hollowpoint ammunition for fear of letting the Hogsweatian's get hold of advanced Guilder chemical technology.
Gaius touced his link piece and spoke into it in latin.
Honoured Ambassador, I think we have a Security situation. Please prepare to delete all records and for non-combatitive embassy staff to assemble weapons for some kind of resistance. Please also alert the Templar as to our status.
After a few seconds, the ear piece chimed...
As you wish, Centurion Gaius
The Ambassador's voice repeated semi-camly...
Gaius then signalled for the two guards to fall back into the compound... the troops began assembling what ammunition they had and began to hole themselves up in the upstairs rooms near the stairs with the slaves.
The non-combatitive and non-slave embassy staff proceeded out of the building with their hands raised, as the smell of burning wafted through open windows...

The assault team moved in quickly and swiftly, ignoring the hostages and assembling on either side of the main door, two squads of six men armed to the teeth and armoured similarly. With a nod and a handmovement the squad smashed through the door, their SMGs and shotguns shouldered, and ran upstairs to where the smoke belching from..
Meanwhile a rifle unit on the ground floor arrested the embassy staff, tightening their wrists with handcuffs and pushing them into a truck, where they would sit until the rest of the three embassies surrendered...

"Okay, gentlemen, I'm gonna make this brief." came the voice of the High Overseer from the back of a darkened conference room. A projecter came on, displaying satelite photos of the embassies. "These were the embassies of the Parthian, Guffingfordi, and Guilds embassies two hours ago." he said. The projector clicked, and a new picture was displayed. It was the same as before, but there were tanks and infantry laying siege to them now. "Gentlemen, we have reason to believe that the Hogsweaten government has layed siege to the embassies of our RWC allies. I want options and I want them fast. This concludes the meeting. Dismissed. he finished. The lights went on, and the conference room was quickly emptied.

As the Hogsweatian troops came up the stairs into a convenient bottleneck, the few security personnel and the Ambassador opened fire on them with their weapons. Bits of stone and marble flying around the hall...
Behind his troops Gaius sat at the patched link communication station, fiddling with the link system trying to get it to contact the Templar in Vas Urbs.
Gaius realised that he should really give his troops some the ammunition and grenades he carried. He promplty skidded these across the floor to his troops, who were doing their best with limited ammunition and grenades to hold off the Infidels...
He saw a black hooded figure scuttle along the floor towards him...
Father Furling, what are you doing here?
Asked Gaius almost shouting.
I am here, to give you all and myself the last rights. We must kill the slaves, they cannot be allowed to fall into infidel hands, they must be redeemed.
Said the Catholic Priest with a glint in his eye. Gaius handed him his pistol;
Go and kill the slaves Father, for God and Saint Peter.
Said Gaius as Furling made his way into the backroom where the slaves were being held. A few seconds after the door was shut screams could be heard with the breaking of limbs and the sound of shots...

Reichs Embassy, Hogsweat
*Burp* "Eh, pass me another beer." *Burp* A fat, drunken man was lying on an old leather couch, covered in doghair. The smell of of crisps and old beer combined with the cigarette smoke made it a heaven for lazy bums not wanted in the German Reich.
"Why you idiot, you've drank a whole crate! Lazy piece of shit..." *burp* The man shambled to one of the supply closets in the building and pulled a box out with several red labels saying 'DIPLOMATIC DOCUMENTS - CLASSIFIED'. He broke the many seals and pulled a crate of ice cold beer from it. He took one bottle out, opened it, burped again and shambled back to his couch and fell down, spilling beer. He left his loafers near the table, covered in cigarette ash, tobacco, beer and other junk. Both were looking at the most important and quite exciting soccer match between the Reichs Tottenkorps and some vargue team from another country and then all of a sudden the annoying noise from the outside interfered.
*Burp* "What the hell...?" Slowly and in an awkward move the drunkard stood up and slowly walked to a window, and then he saw the Hogsweatians standing outside the fence, yelling at them. He ignored it, took another sip of beer and went back to the game.
"Hey, it looks like *burp* some people are standing outside."
"Who gives a shit... I wanna see how this match ends..." *burp*
It was now several hours after the events in start of events in the Hogsweatian city, news had leaked through the streets earlier that numerous raids were taking place around areas each associated with the Embassies of various nations. Further confirmations were coming through as the day went on; it wasn’t like the government of Hogsweat were making an effort to keep it under wraps, they were showing a large amount of force around each location, as expected of them really… overkill.
For the past few hours the Iuthian embassy had been busy preparing themselves for the worse case scenario and had already destroyed all confidential documents stored in the facility beyond repair. Computers memory which may have contained such information was wiped clean then destroyed in the safest possible manner in order to prevent any recollection of information. Not that much was kept on paper these days and most information had already been returned to Iuthia, the only loss was the latest reports… nothing worth risking their lives over.
Only important, non-confidential information remained such as official papers given to them by Hogsweat themselves (which wouldn't be of any tactical use) and official papers given to them by the Iuthian government which would be needed and expected.
An information purge had taken place, a standard procedure when things got hot in a nation which didn’t necessarily like them.
It wasn't a hard decision to make for the Iuthian Diplomatic Corps because it was simply a matter of broken trust. One could argue that little trust existed in the first place, however the important part would be to remember that there was some trust there, such as the trust that one expects when agreeing to an embassy exchange on the understanding that there would be no such raids and that Embassy staff would be given a period of notice to leave then nation...
A diplomatic relationship had to be built on trust, without it you wouldn't know if a man would stick by his word and you couldn't make any long term agreements, not without special measures to assure yourself they wouldn't break such a bond.
And now that trust was gone. The people working in the Iuthian embassy once again packed their stuff and prepared for the political fallout of this incident.

To: Violi Vilitov, SCRH Foreign Minister, Hogsweat
From: Iuthian Diplomatic Corps, Central Command, Iuthia Prima, Iuthia
Subject: 48 Hour Notice
Message:
Foreign Minister Vilitov,
After hearing about some of the most recent raids against foreign embassies within your nation, we would like to take this opportunity to display our dismay at such events. For sometime now the Iuthian Diplomatic Corps has been building up a level of trust based on an embassy exchange agreement in order to protect our employees during their stay in such a potentially hostile nation. Until now that trust had proven to not only be working for the IDC, but it had done much towards the assuring us of your nations growth towards a more respectable nation.
However, with these incidents we find ourselves shocked at the sheer negligence of the people in charge of organising such an aggressive tactic against these nations. We understand that each nation has offending the government of Hogsweat in their own manner over the past few days… however, this does not, in our opinion, justify the underhanded tactic of raiding embassy property without prior permission to do so.
We feel that this alone has damaged Iuthian confidence in Hogsweat diplomacy enough to actually warrant a withdrawal of our embassy staff and the diplomatic effort for this time being. This e-mail is the notice of such a withdrawal to take place within the next 48 hours to allow for transportation to be arranged and proper conclusions of affairs within this nation.
Unlike previous disagreements this is a more serious matter. Even with additional assurances in place the fact remains that the trust has been damaged in manner such a manner we feel that the threat that we may be considered enemies to communism, however minor it is, is a risk we aren’t willing to take. Simply put, we don't believe it's safe to operate an embassy here.
Your own embassy in Iuthia will remain under the same conditions it was under prior to this incident and we do not expect this to change because of this incident. We would like to keep a channel open to the people of Hogsweat for which diplomacy may take place, even though we will not allow the possibility of Iuthian assets to be seized in the same manner as either the others earlier today. This is of course, subject to your nations following reactions.
Thanks,
Foriegn Minister Mick Lakely, Iuthian Diplomatic Corps

The Dominion has its own sources of information, as well as its own satellite network, and this sort of activity would set off alarms all over the planet. You may take it as read that anybody who wishes to would be aware of the basic facts.
</OOC>
"Stupidstupidstupidstupid." The Marshall couldn't believe the report the Warlord had sent to her hand-held.
"What was that, Marshall?"
Marika King turned to face the Warlord. "Sorry sir. What are we going to do about this?"
The Warlord cleared the External Security report from his display. "First, contact the Merchant Guilds and offer our support. They can have whatever they want. Make sure the UWP get the word on this incident as well. Next, anything from Hogsweat approaching Dominion territory will be warned to turn around or be fired upon. No exceptions. We don't have an Embassy there, so that's not an issue. All EOE contracts with Hogsweatian businesses or government are null and void as of now."
Calling up a secondary screen, the Warlord checked the recent EOE military dispositions before continuing. "We're already at Trinity Two, so the military is at full wartime strength. Let's get the 43rd Assault Force on 12-hour alert, and deploy the 9th Fleet to New Caledonia. We'll send the 13 Fleet and the 21st Amphibious Assault Force to Old Tersanctus. Pull the cargoes from the next three OIV launches and replace 'em with milsats. Tell Mikalgard Kosmodrome to start a full military launch schedule beginning Thursday. Tell Mikoyan that they'll have to run non-stop refueling operations for the current fleet of R-sats for the foreseeable future. We'll get them some additional personnel up with the increased launch schedule."
"Sir, what about the regular payloads for Mikoyan, Heinlein, and Gagarin?" the Marshall asked, referring to the two EOE manned space platforms and the top-secret Orion-type spacecraft. "Despite the increased launches, they'll be running at the edge of their supply envelope- especially Heinlein."
"Can't be helped. We need the satellite array upgraded first. Tell Heinlein to send all non-military personnel back home. That'll let 'em stretch their supplies a bit longer. The platforms and Gagarin get their payloads on the second wave of launches. Good enough?"
"Not really sir, but I'll let them know." King checked her hand-held. "Sir, the economic effects ..."
The Warlord sighed heavily. "I know, Marshall. I know. We've been at Trinity Two for three weeks now. We'll just have to soak up the economic damage the current crisis will create and hope for the best. What can't be cured ..." he broke off and shook his head. "Anything else?"
"Not now, sir. I'll get started on changing the deployment schedule for the new threat. You'll have the data by morning."
Nodding, the Warlord dismissed the Marshall and called up a link to the Foreign Services Office. "Conrad? I need you to get a message out ..."
One of the basic tenets of civilized discourse among nations is the inviolability of Embassies. Even in time of war, Embassies and diplomatic personnel should be granted special status. Embassies may be closed. Diplomats may be expelled. These are the means by which civilized nations express displeasure with foreign governments.
His Omniferocity is most angry that the government of Hogsweat has chosen to ignore basic diplomatic principles. This in and of itself would be enough to label Hogsweat a rogue regime, and bring down the ire and condemnation of all civilized nations. However, this was not the full extent of Hogsweat's folly.
The assault on the Embassy of The Merchant Guilds- an ally of the Dominion- puts Hogsweat beyond the pale. His Omniferocity pledges the full support of the Dominion to assist The Merchant Guilds in taking whatever retribution they deem necessary against the government and people of Hogsweat.
Furthermore, all Hogsweatian shipping is warned to remain 200 kilometers distant from all EOE territories, on pain of instant destruction. Any Hogsweatian military units, vessels, or aircraft are warned that any incursion within 200 kilometers of EOE territory will be met with immediate overwhelming force, regardless of any formal declaration of hostilities. All economic agreements, trade, and other communications with Hogsweat are hereby revoked. All EOE shipping carrying cargo for Hogsweatian destinations will turn aside to nearby neutral ports. The cargoes will be immediately offloaded and left until such time as the government of Hogsweat makes new arrangements for shipment. All Hogsweatian nationals within EOE territory will be expelled and returned forthwith at their own expense by neutral commercial aircraft.
The Dominion formally announces the official designation of Hogsweat as a rogue state, and calls upon all nations who recognize the vital necessity of civilized rules of conduct regarding Embassies and diplomatic personnel to join the Dominion in denouncing these acts of piracy.

"Oh! That's smart! Why didn't I think of that? Oh, that's right! Because it's bloody stupid! Even the bloody Parthians at their worst respect the conventions!"

Far from showing a decisive hand in times of crisis, this measure merely proves one thing; Hogsweat cannot be trusted.
You never violate embassy grounds without the permission of the Ambassador. Envoys, Ambassadors, Heralds and other diplomats and their property may not be assailed. Only terrorists, criminals, and barbarians violate these conventions.
This is a barbaric act been committed not only against the nations involved, but against all civilised peoples everywhere, and only serves to show that the nations Hogsweat has brutally violated are more trustworthy than that regime.

Parthian Embassy, Hogsweat
Parthian diplomatic corps knew what had to be done. As the Hogswetians came through the door, Parthian computer systems, prewired for detonation exploded as the security personnel armed themselves. File cabinets had thermite charges preplanted within them, and with another flip of another switch, the cabinets burned on the insides and melted from within slowly. Nothing was left to be done as the 10 guards set themselves up in the ambassador's office using the five Shooban slaves as human shields while the Ambassador, Rostam Shajarian looked out the window. He knew there was going to be problems, and hoped that one day, he would see Parthia again.
Persepolis, Parthia Outside the Hogswetian Embassy
Crowds of cheering student protestors surrounded the Hogsweat embassy, armed like a typical Parthian, with M-16s, RPGs, and a few tanks here and there. The chant, was the same, "Marg-bar Hogsweat, Marg-bar Hogsweat" (Death to Hogsweat!) while they burned effigies of the Hogswetian leader and of communists. Suddenly, a flash lit up the embassy wall and smoke flew into the air as a 120mm cannon from an M1-A2 tank owned by a civillian crashed into the wall. RPGs smashed into the window while a crowd of fanatics armed with MP-5s, G-3s, M-16s, suicide vests and other things charged into the embassy grounds. M-203 grenade launchers took aim at the doors to the embassy while hundreds of Parthians swarmed in.
Sarzonia
05-04-2005, 02:38
President Mike Sarzo just stepped out from his daily intelligence briefing and was on his way to the dining room in the Gray House when an aide stopped him in the hall.
"Mr. President!"
Sarzo raised his eyebrow at the young aide's high-pitched tone that suggested he was a first-timer in the Gray House, even though the guy had been a part of Gray House staff for six years.
"You look like someone just touched off a nuclear war," Sarzo said with a poor attempt at gallows humour.
"Sir, Hogsweat has stormed the embassies of Guffingford and The Merchant Guilds."
Sarzo raised his eyebrow. Guffingford was considered neutral in a loose definition of the term, but the Sarzonians considered their presence in the Right Wing Collective to be a general threat, albeit one that was slightly less urgent after Sarzonia resigned from NATO.
But in spite of being at odds with The Merchant Guilds on a number of diplomatic and political issues, they were nominally allies of Sarzonia through the Union of World Powers. In addition to that, storming an embassy was tantamount to a declaration of war.
Sarzo grimaced as he saw the report on SNN. They didn't even give delegates a chance to vacate the embassy, he thought. He had to do something, even though Sarzonia was allied to Hogsweat through the Organisation of Maritime Powers. But what?
Finally, he strode into the Press Room and looked out at the sparse crowd. The reporters who covered the President had mostly gone to file their stories, while the surprised crew that assembled there was waiting for a standard briefing from the Press Secretary. Instead, they got the President himself.
"As you may be aware, the government of the Soviet Union of Hogsweat recently stormed the embassies of Guffingford and The Merchant Guilds. While we do not have a particularly friendly relationship with Guffingford, we can not express our disappointment enough that Hogsweat has chosen to disregard the soverignty of both countries.
"I also must point out that Sarzonia is currently allied with The Merchant Guilds through both the Alliance of Greater Imperial Powers and the Union of World Powers. As such, we can not stand by while one of our allies is wronged, even if the offending party happens to be another ally.
"On behalf of the Incorporated Sarzonian Government, I hereby condemn this act of blatant aggression on the part of Hogsweat and I call upon Hogsweat to send the diplomatic personnel of both countries home without further incident or delay. The road to diplomacy is difficult enough to traverse without being obstructed by the instruments of war."
Sarzo drew his breath in slightly, turned to leave, and as the door from the Press Room closed behind him, exhaled in a heavy sigh.

I am appauled, friends! How can you call yourselves legitamite when you are so willing to illegally raid another's property, in the sake that you may have some form of disagreement with them? I for one, cannot condone what your forces have done, with such a heavy hand and disregard for one, people's safety, and two, political respect.
You might as well consider this message with a spirit of condemnment, since I am so unhappy at your recent actions. Be aware, forces await to enter your borders, and to evict you and your ministers from you territorial holdings. The Absolutionist State of Austar Union
The sound of his footsteps echoed through the marble halls with unnerving clarity, breaking what was otherwise monotonous silence in the empty corridors. He passed the Birth of a Nation, a swirling yet bold painting he made a habit of studying every time he passed through the hall, without even acknowledging it's stately presence. Instead, he continued onward, following the hall as it turned sharply. He passed through an ornate oak door left slightly ajar, which served to separate from the elegant hallway the harsh, sterile passageway that met his eyes with a fluorescent stare. He swiped a small credit card-sized ID badge on the blocky scanner hanging on the wall halfway between him and a reinforced glass door. An audible click sounded with the transformation of the red light shining above the door to green, and a moment later the door opened slowly, mechanically.
He had barely taken his fourth step down the stairs when he heard the door seal shut again behind him.
The entire staff of the Eredron embassy was now situated in the basement level bunker; save for a half dozen soldiers who remained above, the embassy was empty.
News of the Hogsweat siege reached the compound an hour ago, delayed by the carelessness that had developed in the relaxed atmosphere of the embassy, prompting a scene that had surely played out in embassies throughout the city: the destruction of all classified documents, memory wipes on computer hard drives, precautions against the possibility of being next on Hogsweat's list.
For now, the embassy staff could only wait, while their government prepared an official statement of condemnation against Hogsweat.
Verdant Archipelago

Despite being allied to Hogsweat through the OMP, the Verdant Archipelago Union must condemn this horrific breach of international law. "Majesty, problems in Hogsweat," said Alexander Perkins, Minister for Foreign Affairs, as he handed several documents to Emperor Scorpius. "Raids on the embassies of Guffingford, Parthia, and the Merchants Guild."
Scorpius read the documents, a frown forming on his face. "They're idiots! Does Hogsweat think it can get away with this?"
Grand General Charles Skops, standing beside the Emperor's desk, stepped forward. "We can use this as a chance to mobilize the military and try bring down a communist regime!"
"No," said Perkins, scowling at the bloodthirsty general. "We will not. What we will do is express our disgust to Hogsweat, place embargoes on them, have all tourists refuse to go there, kick all tourists from Hogsweat that might be here out, and threaten to activate forces if Guilders, Parthians, or Guffingfordian are killed. We have had friendly relations with all three nations in the past, and I believe we are in the same alliances as several of them."
Emperor Scorpius nodded. "Sounds good. Give the orders."

The Grand Imperium of Risban is disgusted by the actions peformed by Hogsweat. In response, we shall place an embargo on Hogsweat and enforce laws preventing Risbanian tourists from going to your land. Official Response from the United Republics of Tiburon
We are appalled at the Hogsweatian decision to strike against the embassies. This action, sadly, is merely the latest installment in a pattern of Hogsweatian aggression characteristic of the nation at large. From the dictatorial acts initiated during the early days of the Organization of Haven States, to the nation's wars against the Scandavians, the Kriegorgradis, as well as us, and now to the violence against the representatives of diplomacy from the Merchant Guild, Parthia, and Guffingford. Although we have made motions to help defend Haven from any violation of international law, we believe Hogsweat has made the grave mistake of mistaking this for support for its actions, when the reality is that Hogsweat does not enjoy much support in the world, if at all. Tiburon condemns this action, and has halted construction of the Tiburonese embassy in Hogsweat.
Though sharing the same region of origin, and being allied through the OMP, the Omzian Democratic Republic and its government and armed forces is disgusted and appalled by the horrific actions taken by the nation of Hogsweat against the embassies of these nations. With the embassy being a vital instrument of the exercises of diplomacy and maintenance of international ties, the initation of armed attacks against a compound with diplomatic personnel is simply vile, barbarous, and uncivil. Though the Omzian nation is in the same region as the nation of Hogsweat (and thus would not support any direct breach of Hogsweat's sovereignity), and though the Omzian government is not allied with the nations whose embassies were raided, we officially submit a strong protest against the government of Hogsweat. The Hogsweat ambassador will be summoned by the Omzian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, followed by the issue of a strong condemnation, and it is also hoped that due to security threats presented by the very own military of Hogsweat, most of the Omzian diplomatic presence within Hogsweat will pull out from the sovereign territories of Hogweat within the next 72 hours.
With the grossly irresponsible actions being taken persistantly by Hogsweat, if the nation of Hogsweat continues to take such action, we afraid that name of the Soviet Socialist Union of Hogsweat would only grow to be an infamous callsign of a rogue group who shows great disregard for the basic concept of diplomatic, and are willing to breach the basic rights of all diplomatic personnel. Furthermore, though Task Force 18 will continue to patrol Haven regional waters near Hogsweat, it will - by no means - provide any protection for the nation of Hogsweat itself as part of its six-month patrol routine in accordance to the Maritime Treaty of Gërsburg enacted within Haven. As well, if the safety of our diplomatic personnel is violated by Hogsweat forces, the might of Task Force 18 will be turned directly against the nation of Hogsweat.
Signed in absolute dismay,

We are slightly disturbed you would raid Parthian and Guilder embassies, but as for those Guffongfordian bastards, kill them all, and make them suffer.

"You want to do what, Mr. President?"
"For the last time, I want you to recall our embassy staff from Hogsweat," Sarzo said, exasperated. "We must do that as an expression of our displeasure with the Hogsweatian government and their unprovoked attack on the soverign property of two countries."
"We're not allied with Guffingford, nor would we be," Senior Vice President for External Affairs Mark Lorber said. "The last thing I want us to be doing is to support those fascists."
"We're not supporting Guffingford or their regime in any way," Vice President for Defence John Newman countered. "The Merchant Guilds are our allies, not Guffingford."
"All because we ratified that damn Charter," Vice President for Science and Technology Tracy Obenga said. "We never should have joined the Union of World Powers."
"Our problem isn't the UWP," Lorber said. "It's who's in it that's the problem."
"Wait a minute," Senior Vice President for Internal Affairs Nicole Lewis said. "Like it or not, Hogsweat stormed the embassy of one of our allies. Problem is that Hogsweat's also one of our allies. As defence minister of the Union of World Powers, that puts us in a bind. But we've got to do something to teach Hogsweat a lesson."
"But what if they storm our embassies, hmm," Newman asked, rhetorically.
"Then they commit an act of war against Sarzonia," Sarzo interjected. "And if that's the case, Hogsweat will get thrown out of the OMP. Then they'll no longer be our allies and all bets are off."
"Shouldn't we recall our ambassadors and then evict theirs," Lorber asked.
"And do what if they refuse to leave, storm their embassy? We'd be no better than them," Newman said.
"Not exactly," Sarzo said. "If we give their government a reasonable amount of time to remove their embassy staff from Woodstock and they refuse to do so, we would be within our rights to surround their embassy. However, we're going to recall our staff and put the ball squarely in their court. What they do from here is up to them."
Both Lorber and Newman opened their mouths to speak, but Sarzo quickly added, "meeting adjourned." He then stood up and walked briskly out of the situation room.
Due to the heinous act of naked aggression perpetrated against The Merchant Guilds and Guffingford, the Incorporated Sarzonian Government hereby recalls our embassy staff in Hogsweat and gives them 72 hours to return to Woodstock. We must insist that the Hogsweatian government and military do not interfere in the peacable departure of Sarzonian diplomatic personnel from their country.
We call upon Hogsweat to initiate reparations to The Merchant Guilds and we call upon The Merchant Guilds to respond to Hogsweatian actions with restraint.
"God I hope you know what you're doing," Newman said after Sarzo gave his statement.
So do I, Sarzo thought. So do I.

Guilder Embassy
At close range the weapons of the guilders tore apart the kevlar vest, not designed for the sort of weaponry that they were facing in the guilder embassy. Leaving their dead behind, the bodies torn, the group swiftly fell back outside, missing three of their number, blood spattered over their uniforms. Realising that the Guilder forces were holed up in a well defended location, another message was broadcast via the megaphone.
"Guilder Embassy Staff, lay down your weapons and come outside. You will not be harmed. You must respond in two minutes or we will counter your hostility with a greater force."
Guffingfordian Embassy
Impatiently, the soldiers smashed down the door of the embassy, in full combat dress, their weapons pointed.
"GET UP, GET UP GET UP."
Parthian Embassy
Quickly turning to the Parthian embassy when someone could be seen looking out the window, the megaphone blurted out
"ATTENTION. All Parthian Embassy Staff must leave the building immediately. You will not be harmed. I repeat, not be harmed."

Hello,
We have not had contact with the nation of Austar Union for many years, and indeed though your nation is one which has had it's share of it's mention in our history.
To your petty statements, we merely laugh. Our nation is powerful, so powerful, so mighty and strong that nothing can damage it. It cannot be destroyed nor dislodged from it's position. We will never surrender. What forces such can be that can destroy our sovereignty are only those left to the imagination, those from some science fliction flick. Your words speak of a certain superiority that you dream that you hold over our all knowing people, our ever standing united Union in which every man and woman has the equal right.
Stay back, capitalist vampire, your bloodsucking ways are not welcome in our politics.

Nation of Sarzonia
We are more than willing to remove our embassy staff from Woodstock within and before the said timelimit. We do though, ask that you reconsider your decision. Our move was made because we no longer wish for nations extremely hostile to the Soviet Union to have embassies in our nation and as such removed them by force, if to show that we are not "kidding around, [as you westerners say], if anything. We hope you know that the Sarzonian embassy is in no way in danger.
We are however NOT going to pay recompensation to The Merchant Guilds who have already engaged in armed combat with our Police Forces and have already killed Hogsweatian Tactical Firearms Police.
With Respect,

Parthian Embassy
Quickly turning to the Parthian embassy when someone could be seen looking out the window, the megaphone blurted out
"ATTENTION. All Parthian Embassy Staff must leave the building immediately. You will not be harmed. I repeat, not be harmed."
A cry came from the embassy: "Xshnaothrâ Ahurahe Mazdå!!!" Two men, strapped with vests of plastic explosives designed to detonate when a life signs detector on them went dead charged towards the Hogswetians from around a corner, waving a shamshir wildly while they prepared to martyr themselves. Upstairs, Ambassador Shajarian walked away from the window and thought for a second, if he died, he would be a hero to Parthia and a martyr, but being captured would mean torture. With a fatalistic attitude, he grabbed an M-249 SAW from the wall and followed the guards into a windowless room next to the ambassador's office where they had set up cover and prepared to fire.

"I told you we should have invested in better spy satellites" snickered the Defense Minister Royale. "Now it will be obvious to the world that we are unable to detect things of this nature, and we leave ourselves vulnerable to attack ourselves. Do we have an embassy in Hogsweat?"
"No, I don't think so," replied Firebrand, the Supreme Admiral and Glorious Leader of Green Beard, "I think I remember some mention of a nation called Hogsweat from History class in high school, but honestly I couldn't find it on a map."
"Right, then, so it's not an immediate threat."
"You never know, any nation capable of such an unheard of act is unpredictable. Alert our defense fleets and fighter-interceptors. I don't want them on any kind of 24-hour alert, or anything, but just let them know so that they don't drydock our flagship for routine maintenance, or anything like that. Make sure that they have the capability to go to full readiness when we need them to, but don't keep them awake at night. Is that understood?"
"Yes, Supreme Admiral. Shall we send any international communications, or do you want to limit this to our national defense forces?"
"Hmm, I suppose we should inform the major players involved of our intentions."
Attention all nations. Let it be known that the nation of Green Beard will not stand by while innocent embassy staffs are rounded up like criminals. Hogsweat, if you have a grievance with the nation, take it out with them, not with those who are told what to say and do. These diplomats are not your enemies, but rather your only chance to maintain the peace in times of trouble. They do not dictate policy, they only move their lips to the voice of their governments.
Let it further be known that Green Beard will assist any defending nation, to whatever extent is necessary, from any further agression purpetrated by Hogsweat. While Green Beard does not go around looking for war, we feel that no nation should act as Hogsweat has and get away with hostile actions against other nations.

Re: Hogsweatian terrorism
It takes a new kind of force to deal with a nation that has no respect for international law. Your three governments and mine may have disagreements, may have our differences, may be in rival alliances, but I would suggest that we band together in this threatening time against the menace that is Hogsweat. From the sounds of this "Organisation of Maritime Powers", members could fall anywhere from support of Hogsweat to denoucing their acts. With an unweildy alliance involved, we must vow, through chance and through shared horror, to stand together.
I propose a termporary, emergency alliance between all of our nations, hopefully one that will lead to long lasting friendships, including a mutual defense pact specific to agression from Hogsweat or her allies. If this is disagreeable to any of you, I will be saddened by the loss of a great nation from this pact, but we will nevertheless defend your shores should you request our aid. We shall discuss this further

Austar Union
07-04-2005, 11:39
It shall be known, that it is the view of both myself, and the Absolutionist State of Austar Union, that an invasion of territorial holdings owned by the government and people of Hogsweat will not be condoned by this state. We can understand the anger that some may have toward their actions, with intent to cause incident, as we too share in your anger. Still, one must keep a head as cool if you are to ever achieve anything in this fair world. I employ to anyone who has considered taking military action as a response, to consider your lesser options first, the more honerable, and one which these Socialists here seem to lack; Diplomacy.
----------------------------Lord Indigo Blue, the Absolutionist State of Austar Union
In the meantime, while the message had been broadcasted in most if not all diplomatic channels of communication, an assessment had been forwarded to the Iuthian Diplomatic Corps, and Intelligence Divisions they may have. It was a simple assessment, yet through hundreds of pages, without the formal jargon and dribble would read somewhere something like this, if condensed.
... From the historical view of Hogsweat, I cannot be sure that these actions will not eventually spill into something much greater than just the storming of an embassy, or two. It appears already, that their leaders and government hold so much disregard when in contact with others across the political spectrum, and in some ways, have ultimately lost their perspective on the world around them. And in a sense, I do fear what lies in the future, of what these people who call themselves 'Socialists' will complete, or attempt next, or whom they will target in the so-far constant war of aggression. With such a lack of political empathy shown by this government, do not rule out that Iuthian targets would not be next on the list of those to purge. Hogsweat is under the rule of a man with absolutely no idea or perspective on the world around him, and its effects on his own command-manship.
From the mouth and word of Comrade Josef Dorsal himself, he stated;
"Our nation is powerful, so powerful, so mighty and strong that nothing can damage it. It cannot be destroyed nor dislodged from it's position. We will never surrender. What forces such can be that can destroy our sovereignty are only those left to the imagination, those from some science fliction flick. Your words speak of a certain superiority that you dream that you hold over our all knowing people, our ever standing united Union in which every man and woman has the equal right."
And as a simple response stating that one must be careful in his or her actions, for their are larger beasts watching, he took so much anger and bitterness toward a diplomatic force who even took the Liberty to call them friends. Sanity, I fear could be at bay for this man, who seems to consider himself as invincible. Perhaps friends, he has become so lost in his war of propeganda, that he even believes his own lies himself.

Incorporated States of Sarzonia
Subject: Embassy Staff Recall
We thank you for taking the time to respond to our missive regarding the removal of Sarzonian embassy and consular staffs from Hogsweat during this time of uncertainty within your country. We appreciate your assurances that the Sarzonian embassy is in no danger from Hogsweatian military personnel. We would like to note that we have not made any statements regarding the expulsion of Hogsweatian embassy and consular staffs from Woodstock, though if you choose to do so, we shall not interfere with their departure.
The External Affairs office and the Incorporated Sarzonian Government can understand and appreciate Hogsweatian desires not to allow sworn enemies to hold embassies within Hogsweat or her territories. However, we would have preferred a non-violent solution of evicting their personnel and giving them a reasonable period of time to vacate their embassies to outright military action. Rest assured that once the situation is resolved, Sarzonian personnel will gladly consider their return to Hogsweat. However, to ensure the safety of Sarzonian diplomatic personnel, I must insist on this course of action for the time being.

Such understatements are best left to yourselves, as it's clear from the international communities reaction that this incident has caused much more harm to the reputation and future of Hogsweat that personally I doubt there is much which could justify such disrespectful actions.
So these nations were concidered enemies of Hogsweat, why not simply evict them? Admittedly the fact that some of these embassies seem to be equipped with plastic explosive for suicide attacks seems to be a concern to us, as it suggests dangerous things about their actual intentions. Regardless of a single Embassy showing these signs, however, the fact remains that this over-reaction has caused nations to threaten Hogsweat militarily and withdraw further diplomatic contact, something we doubted they needed given their current circumstance.
Never the less, it remains to be seen if those pulling out their people will be given the proper respect to do so... this need not get any worse then it is.
Foriegn Minister Mick Lakely, Iuthian Diplomatic Corps

Meanwhile the intelligence report coming from Iuthia had pretty much matched their concerns... though to be fair Iuthia had long ago reacted to these concerns by giving their 48 hour notice over the raiding of foriegn embassies. Many of the Intel staff found the wording to be interesting in this report, despite the conclusions being the same as that of the Iuthian government. It was most interesting to here a little bit more about the mental state of the Hogsweatian leader at least...

Official Statement of the Imperial Government of Praetonia
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v387/Praetonia/PraeFlagII.jpg
"The Democratic Imperium of Praetonia looks on in mild amusment as it watches some of the most distinguished nations in the world jump upon Hogsweat for a breach protocol when many of the very same nations did not bat an eye-lid as Farminan troops rounded up and executed over 1,000,000 men women and children, when Parthia carried out government-sponsored genocide of the Shooban race, or when The Merchant Guilds began an international trade in slaves.
"Unlike many nations of this world, the Democratic Imperium of Praetonia still believes in the ideals of freedom, liberty and justice for all. The Democratic Imperium still believes that something exists that out-weighs the sovereignty of nations whose states consist of mere autocratic, beaurocratic and military constructs all designed to impose the will of the unaccountable and arbitarily appointed few over that of the majority. The "Union of World Powers" - once viewed by the Imperium with warmth for its stance on human rights around the world - is now viewed with scorn in the Democratic Imperium as a body that has consistently stood in the way of actions to liberate oppressed peoples around the world whilst not even deigning to comment on those actions carried out by autocratic and genocidal regimes.
"Whilst we condemn this particular inappropriate action committed by Hogsweat, from this moment forwards any nation which offers protection, supplies or allyship to the genocidal, Fascist regimes of The Merchant Guilds, The Parthians and Farmina can consider itself a friend or ally of Praetonia no longer. For too long has the world sat back ignored genocide and we have had to accept that as fact for as long as the world has valued the sovereignty of autocrats and despots over the lives of human beings, but we certainly shall not sit back as the only nation in the world willing to make a stand is systematically beaten down by supposedly free and democratic nations around the world."
[OOC: Note that this " from this moment forwards any nation which offers protection, supplies or allyship to the genocidal, Fascist regimes of The Merchant Guilds, The Parthians and Farmina can consider itself a friend or ally of Praetonia no longer." does not mean people critising the embassy gaff, it just means people actually pledging military aid to that lot.]
Official Statement of the Benevolent Dictatorship of Iuthia
http://www.nationstates.net/images/flags/uploads/iuthia.jpg
"The Benevolent Dictatorship of Iuthia is slightly amused at the somewhat ignorance comments of The Democratic Imperium of Praetonia regarding the nation of Hogsweat. While we are sure it looks hypocritical to condemn the irrational actions of Hogsweat's government at this time, there are various matters The Democratic Imperium of Praetonia simply hasn't taken into account.
Firstly, it's worth noting that the Iuthian government, as well as many other governments taking punative actions against Hogsweat, are not overly concerned about the internal affairs in nations such as Farmina, The Parthians and nations such as The Merchant Guilds whom support their attrocities... those incidents are limited to their own nations and have already been responded to (at least by the Iuthian government) with blacklistings and trade embargoes to note our disapproval of those actions. It is not our place to force our laws and values on these nations and as such our responce is limited. We have a strong respect for national soveriegnity.
Secondly, the actions Hogsweat has taken against these three embassies shows a lack of respect for these nations soveriegnity, a lack of respect born from poor relations. The fact that they have reacted in such a way presents a threat to our people as Hogsweat cannot be trusted to respect internationally followed conventions. As such Iuthia, and others, have pulled out of Hogsweat in order to remove the threat. Nations such as The Evil Overlord simply took this to another level.
Finally, Hogsweat themselves have been responcible for genocide in their own nation in the past with similar responces from around the world. As explained above, the reason our nations reacted strongly to the raiding of embassies is because it stops being an 'internal affair' that we have no place in and becomes and international affair. It is important to understand that many of us have reacted to incidents in Farmina and others, however this incident affects us more directly.
Perhaps now you will understand our concerns instead of mocking them."

Centurion Gaius looked panic stricken, there was not even the signal for the link to work... all the channels even the Noir channel, didn't work...
Damn those Infidels to Hell he thought...
He noticed the firing outside had stopped and it had been replaced by a hellish sort of moaning and terrible coughing. He began to slowly crawl outside...
His men and women Legionnaires sat there with burns on their face. One of them was convulsing on the floor in a sort of spasm... Father Furling was reading from the Holy Bible and giving the Legionnaires generally absolution...
Gaius could not help but look around at the open door, a large pool of congeeling blood revealed what had occured inside, not to mention the two female bodies lying lifeless outside the door. He waited for Furling to finish the last rights before firing his pistol into the dying man's forhead as any Guild soldier would do for another dying comrade. He checked his troops ammunition, it was very low... only 3 grenades left... time for a display of Guild arrogance...
We will give the infidel something to remember the Emperor by. Let us show them how proud of our heritage we are and how we scorn death. Besides you all know that they have no God but Satan, we would tortured terribly should we surrender... let us die with honour.
He saw his troops sadness in their eyes... but before he could say anything Father Furling cut in;
Do not worry my children, God has a special place for Guilder soldiers in Heaven, die with honour and you will be honoured by the Father, Son and the Angels.
This seemed to up the mood a little bit...
Get up and let us march into heaven with honour Gaius commanded...
The Guild troops, Priest and Ambassador got up... whilst Gaius opened the link device and placed a grenade inside promplty running out just in time as the thump could be clearly heard accompanied by a piece of spinning metal rebounding off the door and down the stairs...
They got up brushed off their black uniforms, did up buttons and put on discarded black helmets. The Christian runes on their black uniforms were especially cleaned off...
With that the troops marched two deep down the stairs past the Hogsweatian dead, who recieved balls of spit and the odd quick boot in the face. The Guilder troops marched to the door weapons lowered and ready...
Gaius shouted clearly the slogan of the Imperial Guilder Armed Forces...
For God, We Fight and We Die
With that the Guilders marched out of the front door to their fate, fingers on the trigger...

Official Statement of the Imperial Government of Praetonia
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v387/Praetonia/PraeFlagII.jpg
"The Imperial Government of Praetonia cares little for the opinion of the overly combative dictatorship Iuthia. Whilst we understand the concerns of many nations over this to an extent, the Iuthian government is clearly overreacted merely to kick-up a diplomatic fuss over nothing and scaremonger other nations into following suit. It is clearly obvious that no action will be taken against Iuthian soil or diplomatic staff of Iuthia or any other nation in Hogsweat.
"It appears that the Iuthians are not fully aware of the facts, a deficiency in intelligence gathering that we hope will not disadvantage them in future over other issues, as they were obviously not aware that some weeks of diplomatic wrangling, including a threat made by allies of the "victims" in this "tragedy" threatening to pre-emptively deploy nuclear weapons against Hogsweat. Neither Hogsweat, nor any other nation, will simply assault the embassy of another nation suddenly and without warning merely on an impulse. As far as we are aware, there are no immediate tensions between Iuthia and Hogsweat and therefore no reason to fear an attack against your embassy there - Praetonia has no plans to withdraw her own embassy.
"It should also be pointed out to the Dictatorship of Iuthia that, although Iuthia has no interest in the internal workings of other nations, many nations, including our own, do. As much as the Government of the Dictatorship of Iuthia wishes to "educate" us about their way of doing things, perhaps they need to open their own eyes and look at the rest of the world, which does not see everything exactly the same of the Dictatorship of Iuthia, or does much of it want to. The Imperial Government of Praetonia sees this talk as closed, although bi-lateral talks would be welcomed if Iuthia wishes to press this relatively inconsequential matter which has been blown way out of proportion by many nations, including Iuthia."

"How's the pullout going?"
"The arrangements are being made on schedule," Lorber told Sarzo. Taking a look at Sarzo's face, he added, "why do you ask?"
"There's one more card I want to play."
"What do you mean?"
"Get me in touch with Comrade Dorsal."
"Mike?"
"Just do it." Lorber got the communications device and handed it to Sarzo.
"Comrade, this is President Mike Sarzo. Since we have announced our intent to recall our embassy staff, I want to ask you to do one thing. Allow us to evacuate the Merchant Guilds embassy and consular staffs along with our own, preferrably via helicopter. If you allow us to do that, we may be able to forestall further damage to an already precarious situation that has cost too many lives as it stands now.
"I implore you to act in the interest of advancing peace rather than provoking a senseless war that could result in the destruction or desolation of billions of lives."

Without stooping to the level of insult about any particular form of government, let me state once again His Omniferocity's position on the matter raised by the Praetonian government.
The Dominion does not meddle in the internal affairs of any nation. Genocide, infanticide, regicide, religious strife, etc, are none of the Dominion's business- provided the trouble does not spill out of the nation in question and affect other nations or international trade. Other nations may do what they wish on this subject, but His Omniferocity's government tends to distrust many nations which intrude on another nation's internal matters.
His Omniferocity’s government is little impressed by much of what some nations consider International Law, but certain generally accepted international agreements are rigorously enforced by the Dominion. Among these are the right of free passage through international waters, the protection of neutral vessels in wartime, and the concept of Diplomatic Extraterritoriality. Simply put, that last item means that a nation’s Embassy is considered sovereign territory of that nation. Assaulting an Embassy without provocation is exactly the same as attacking the foreign nation itself. This is generally considered an act of war by all civilized nations.
Without warning or provocation, Hogsweatian armed forces stormed the sovereign territory of three foreign nations. This act alone would be sufficient to provoke a total cessation of all contact between the Dominion and the Hogsweat regime. Since The Merchant Guilds is an ally of the Dominion, His Omniferocity has offered the Guilder government support for whatever action The Merchant Guilds chooses to take.
Until such time as The Merchant Guilds decides upon a course of action, the Dominion considers the Hogsweatian regime to be a rogue state, which cannot be trusted to operate by civilized rules of conduct, As such, all shipping from Hogsweat is considered a threat to Dominion interests, and is therefore barred from approaching Dominion territory, on pain of destruction. Once again, His Omniferocity calls upon all nations who accept the rules of civilized behavior to condemn the patently illegal and stupid actions of the Hogsweatian regime, and to sever all ties with the outlaw government of Hogsweat.

*Burp* "Eh... People have stormed the door! They are coming in!" The fat man was still standing behind the bulletproof glass while the Hogsweatian soldiers stormed in. As the heavily armed men of Hogsweat stormed in, they were amazed not to see defending soldiers, but one alcoholic lying on a leather couch and the other trying to lite a cigarette. Not knowing what to do, both men were taken into custody. Still burping and having little understanding of what went on, but back in Guffingford the 'real' attack on the embassy has been recorded on film by the 'Image & Film Management' department of the Reichs Chancellery.
In the secure records room even more liquor and beer were found in crates labeled as 'diplomatic documents'. The whole house was searched from top to bottom, and only a few dogs were found in the basement, old clothes with beerstains and a kitchen were nobody has done any cleaning in months or perhaps even years.

To: His Omniferocity's Government, The Evil Overlord
From: Imperial Ministry for Foreign and Colonial Affairs
Subject: RE: Embassy Seige
Although it is not general policy to contact any government directly over a matter so trivial as this, we feel that in this instance a few facts need to be set straight. Firstly, the Imperial Government of Praetonia has never, at any stage, condoned the actions of Hogsweat, we have merely pointed out the obvious and horrifying hippocricy of many nations which have bought into the scare-mongering over the possibility of future attacks and cut all ties with hogsweat.
Secondly, there is no such thing as an "Outlaw Government". Indeed you are right that Hogsweat violated the territory of all three nations involved, but it is also true that Hogsweat, as a sovereign nation (as well as being able to murder countless millions of its own citizens) is, perhaps to the suprise of His Omniferocity's Government, entitled to declare and conduct war against other sovereign states.
Although we expected better of the Organisation of World Powers, now viewed by Praetonia as a potentially hostile organisation, than to admit a nation such as "The Merchant Guilds", and advise whoever is responcible for admissions inside the UWP to consider more careful next time they admit such a dubious nation to thier club, we do recognise your right, in this instance to impose such sanctions since your state is allied to one of the involved states. We still do not recognise Hogsweat as an "outlaw state" and we shall still for the time being support actions against nations which have, on many occassions, proved a threat to Praetonian national security.
Finally, we wish to congratulate the "civilised" Evil Overlord for choosing such equally "civilised" nations as allies. It is, of course, not one of our goals to be viewed as "civilised" by a nation which believes true "civility" lies in genocide, and actively supports states which murder their own civilians and give no value to human life. Praetonia is, on the other hand, a barbaric state, along the lines of Greece, Rome and the British Empire, which believes in the rule of law, governance by the people and constitutional consistency.

"Scare mongering? You clearly missed our point, either on perpose or out of your own ignorance for concepts of which we speak. It isn't a matter being threatened by the government of Hogsweat (though I'll come to that in a moment) it's more about removing the threat which may result in a serious casus belli we cannot ignore. Our relations with Hogsweat aren't entirely perfect, as the following example will prove:
Attachement: 0001a (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v258/Iuthia/Misc/PLAQUE.jpg)
You may also want to note that recently Iuthia made a point of securing our people's safety in Guffingford, whom has respectfully made a point of assuring us that no such abuses will occur against our people.
You should understand that most nations in the world will sooner expell diplomats from their embassy respectfully then raid them prior to a war between both nations. The fact that Hogsweat could not respect this shows them to have dangerous qualities wherein they may be offended one day and declare war the next, as the example was set with the war against Scandavian States. We withdraw our people because if we don't, they may one day be offended at a minor statement and then, as they have shown they are capable of here, arrest and perhaps even punish Iuthian diplomats. This we and other nations could not allow.
We have reacted like this in the past and we will react like this to all such incidents where in Iuthian diplomats could be at threat from such abuses. Call it an over-reaction if you will... but we won't endanger Iuthian lives over this."

Official Statement, Incorporated Sarzonian Government
We are disappointed with the bickering going on among the governments of The Evil Overlord, Praetonia, and Iuthia. We recognise the situation is a grave one and we recognise Hogsweat's status as a soverign nation with the authority to determine its own fate. However, we also recognise that Hogsweat committed an enormous breach of diplomatic protocols by attacking the soverign territory of Guffingford and The Merchant Guilds.
Separately, we are disappointed that Praetonia would presume to pass judgment on nations who have chosen to align with The Merchant Guilds in this particular matter. Do we as a fellow member of the Union of World Powers endorse every action they have ever undertaken? No. We can not be expected to, as you would not be expected to endorse our every action regardless of the steadfast fealty between our countries. We do not look favourably upon the insinuation that, as a member of the Union of World Powers, we would be viewed as potentially hostile by our staunch friends in Praetonia.
We are equally dismayed with the government of Iuthia for choosing to lob insults at the government of Praetonia instead of continuing to employ diplomatic tactics in accordance with status as a non-aggressive country toward Praetonia.
We initiate our call for the governments of Praetonia and Iuthia to approach further interaction between them as the mature and civilised governments we expected both to be throughout the course of our prior interactions with them.
Mike Sarzo
President
Incorporated States of Sarzonia
Iuthia and Praetonia do not have any physical issues we need to resolve, we simply have a difference in opinion and Iuthian 'diplomacy' thus far has been worded speficially to respond in kind to Praetonian 'diplomacy' in this matter.
I'm sorry if you're nation has been offended by this exchange, though it's worth noting that Praetonia has not lost anything with us over this, it is afterall a strong difference in opinion borne from different societies... neither nations threatened one another during these communications and I sincerly doubt it would have come to that given both Iuthia's and Praetonia's history.
As for insults... I beleive we've both limited ourselves even in this manner, our last commincation is limited to the wording "ignorant" which could be offencive if one was so sensitive to the way it was used, the majority of these arguements have been expressions of each nations stance. Personally I feel that our conduct has been much better then most... hell, most nations around here seem to think "Fuck you" is expected of them.
In anycase, we're sorry you see this as bad conduct for the Iuthian government... we will not apologise for expressing our views but we will apologise for our lack of tack in making it so open for the world to see.

First, His Omniferocity applauds and echoes the words of the government of Sarzonia, and further commends the Sarzonian government’s attempts to mediate this crisis.
Once again refusing to stoop to insults about any particular form of government (despite the manifold problems inherent in many such), His Omniferocity's government never once stated or implied that the government of Praetonia condoned the actions of the Hogsweatian regime. The government of Praetonia may freely exercise its sovereign right to react to the actions of Hogsweat, and the Dominion has never once stated or implied otherwise.
As far as the existence of an "Outlaw State", I submit that any government which willfully and without provocation violates Diplomatic Extraterritoriality in the manner of the Hogsweatian regime deserves such an appellation. Since His Omniferocity’s government has a long history of recognizing and enforcing such principles of civilized behavior, it could reasonably be expected that His Omniferocity’s opinion on such matters would carry some weight. Hogsweat’s actions in this incident violate several of the most important principles of international law, and therefore has become an outlaw- by definition.
As for the Union of World Powers, your government may believe what it wishes. So far as the Dominion knows, the UWP is not involved in this situation, aside from the fact that a UWP member nation was one of the victims of the Hogsweatian regime's crimes. There has been no official UWP proclamation on this incident, and at least one UWP member is making good-faith efforts to avoid a potential military conflict.
Therefore, remember that The Merchant Guilds, Parthia, and Guffingford are the victims in this instance. Regardless of your government's position toward any or all of these nations, the attack on the Embassies was unprovoked. Even if all three nations practice what you might consider unspeakable acts of cruelty to kittens, butterflies, or Albigensians (for several examples), that would not in itself be sufficient provocation to violate foreign Embassies.

Statement of the Imperial Ministry for Foreign and Colonial Affairs
We wish to apologise for any offence we may have caused to our Sarzonian and Euroslavian allies in the Union of World Powers. We must still, however, keep The Evil Overlord listed as a potentially hostile nation. The organisation as a whole and not any specific NationState is still regarded as highly dubious by the Imperial Foreign and Colonial Office and, until further diplomacy and research is carried out.
We also wish to allay any fears of military taken by the Democratic Imperium. There are not, have never been and for the forseeable future will not be any military action taken by the Democratic Imperium of Praetonia, except in defence of our ally should disproportional military action be taken against them be any state without further provokation. Although we recognise and understand the distress caused to the nations whose embassies have been seized, this does not, in our view, give anyone free-reign to begin massive reciprical offencive action. We would view that as blatant warmongers, and act accordingly.

Upon review of recent developments with regards to the gunfights taking place between the armed forces of Hogsweat and embassies, it is the position of the Republic that Eredron's diplomatic presence withdraw from Hogsweat, in its entirety, as soon as possible.
Despite previous ties to Hogsweat, primarily through the former Concordia Alliance, the Republic no longer feels that an embassy within the borders of your country can be guaranteed the level of security necessary to maintain an open diplomatic dialogue. Eredron will therefore being removing through airlift all embassy staff and equipment within the next twenty-four hours: we of course do not expect any interference from the government of Hogsweat, as no direct state of hostilities exist between our respective nations.

This is patently rediculous and absolute slander! The Shooban "race" are not even a race! They aren't human, they are just highly intelligent animals who were placed on the earth for no real purpose. I cannot commit genocide on that which isn't human! I hunt them like the animals they are, as does Doomingsland, Roach-Busters, Generic Empire, and several other allied nations. I also take offense to your "fascist regimes" comment typical of myopic liberal nations run by children raised by hippies in communes. Parthia is by no means Fascist, I am Shahanshah, descendant of many predecessors. Since 224, my family has ruled Persia with justice and knowlege of the will of Ahura Mazda. What I do is just and moral, to Ahura Mazda, democracies are the pawns of Ahriman, who uses them to promote evil things and injustice. Thus, I rule as absolute Shah, crushing the people who seek to destroy the Good Religion. I am not a Fascist, that is dictatorship of a peasant upstart, I am I am Khosru, the King of Kings, A Persian, son of a Persian, an Aryan, having Aryan lineage. I rule with a sense of justice and a knowlege of good, my subjects love me, for I do them justice. How can you call that Fascism. Your nation is but a demagougery, run by peasants who enflame people into violence to destroy the society envisioned by Ahura Mazda. Parthia will never accept such oppression.

Official Message from the United Republics of Tiburon
I am afraid that the nation of Praetonia misunderstands Tiburon's intentions. We have condemned- not just specifically, but categorically- every such act to date. We are currently at a state of extreme hostilities between all governments involved- and have repeatedly voiced our concerns against these despotic and barbaric practices, and we sincerely hope that the nation of Praetonia realizes this is not just lip service, considering it is from the creator of the Haven Watchlist, the Peacekeeping Treaty, and a member of the New Genoa Human Rights Cooperative. After all, it must be noted that while Hogsweat enjoys no support from the nation of Tiburon, the other nations involved are considered actively hostile nations.
