Though history there has been many alliances the Triple alliance, the Allies etc but all have collapsed due to rivalry, unable leaders and the constant threat of enemy’s we however wish to change the pattern we want to create an alliance were we do not fight each other or have corrupt leaders the U.N has already attempted this but has failed because it does not share America still keep’s its secrets hidden from it’s so called friends. the poorer nations fall further behind every hour we will never catch up unless we unite think of what we could achieve the cure for cancer, man on mars etc the rules of this alliance are:

1# there will be no wars without the alliances permission though we can not back this up at the moment unnecessary wars and wars that involve nuclear arms will damage your position in the alliance

ooc: you can justify a war on Iraq because you got rid of a genocide willing dictator

2# you can not keep any technology’s secret from the alliance unless deemed necessary

3# new nations will receive a training programme before they can apply for positions in power

4# there will be an election for positions in power every 2 (rl) months

5# there will be an elected senate to govern the alliance

ic: The alliance will also need to have trained Generals which we must insist go though several war games to prove themselves capable there will also be a vote upon whether or not a nation can use biological, chemical and nuclear weapons in any war.

There must also be an economic council that will maintain the alliances economy and balance what percent of spending will be allocated.

There will also be permanent seats in council for the best economy, best military, largest population, and worst off nation in the alliance

Random Kingdom would like to apply for a training programme to get itself Scientific power. It is Postmodern Tech (between Modern and Future tech for those who don't know).

A technology it would like to declare to the alliance is the Core Governmental Model (this version developed and used solely in Random Kingdom, but the concept was most likely pioneered somewhere else).

It is a project that has replaced the RK government with the will of the people, using a network of computers (named the Core) as the middleman. Anyone can submit an idea to the Core, which becomes a poll for all citizens of RK to vote on. It is also the Core's responsibility to make sure that actions come from those polls.

An AI project is also running off the completed original design, which has already allowed the Core to make simple decisions in poll ties. Also being constantly developed is a model that allows the Core to micromanage government-run services. It is capable of defending itself (albeit rather crudely), however, the Core is easily compromised and can have devastating results if hacked into.

The Core can also hack computers, however this is only currently effective on certain networks used only in Random Kingdom. A human team is required to maintain and code the Core at its current phase.

The Core is a massive system, and its size (and difficulty of maintaining) make it a hard technology to deploy. Also, its AI isn't developed enough to fully emulate a government, so a constitutional monarch or similar body must represent the country itself.

About the name thing, I don't really care about the name. Stressing the THE in The Alliance to me makes it sound like, "This is THE alliance to join." Otherwise, it just says, "This is not a collective, it is an alliance." Ack!

The names that Relative Liberty suggested sound good. I'm for the OATA.

Who hit the Jamumian embassy? Since RK is <still> preparing for war with Farmina (though the war's existence itself is debatable), it regrettably cannot retaliate.

I've uploaded a template. It's just the basic template at this moment. I'm in an office at Univeristy of North Dakota and without an image editing program. I will edit images at home with "THE Alliance" and upload them as soon as i can (Some time within the next week or so [i Only come to the university 3 times a week])

Message boards will be created in a little bit if wanted.

Our feild forensic team have descovered a non exploded shell, the markings are that of Jamum. The civil war in Buleas has seen Paladins from Jamum fire at the separatists in the Capital, so it is possible one misfired and hit the Embassy.

La Habana wishes to join this alliance. The Communist Party of La Habana is interested in observing the development of this alliance. ~~~WEBSITE & FORUMS UPDATE~~~
Website: No changes have been made lately due to the fact that my computer may have a virus and i am not risking working on the images at home and infecting everyone's computer who is in THE Alliance. Web address is still http://www.freewebs.com/the1alliance

Forums: I have given up temporarilly on the web site that i was looking at hosting our forums at. I created a forum at InvisionFree. Most likely it will be a temporary thing but if the place i signed up at first (CAWUnited) doesn't come through for us, i will make the InvisionFree forums our perminant home. More updates will come at a later date. I will change the membership list soon.

I think you did the right thing. We need this alliance to be respected and not discarded as another n00bs-attempting-to-be-powerful-alliance, to do this we must have some sence of honour and respect for the rules.

all I am saying is we should of taken care of it not the mods so let's make a new policy we try first then we tell the mods (though a game moderator would be better)

coming from the fact Jamum made the allience I would say you leave

RK did the wrong thing he didn't talk he just gave Jamum to the fury of the mods

Random Kingdom is going to rejoin the alliance. It would also run for President, but due to a war with Farmina bringing anarchy and a general state of terror RK is currently unfit for presidency. However, it will run if the war is over before the election is over, and if not it will run in the next.

Under Jamum, this was going to be a good alliance, but Jamum decided to screw everything up by evading his forumban and I couldn't just stand and watch.

Strangely enough, the telegram I received before the one I just got from Tetchuan was from Jamum himself:

"I can provide you with weapons and thats about it just ask what you need"

He got deeted for a while, for various offences.

Alright We'll change this to an Elected Senate then. But the list of our membership has dwindled due to several of the members not existing anymore. I ran a search on them in NS and it came up they didn't exist. What we need though is more members. If anyone in this alliance has a problem with eachother then talk them out on Messangers or something.
