Welcome everyone and first of all thanks for just taking a look at this post which not might be of the interest of most.

What is the purpouse of this probably useless topic? Well Vico Corp is offering Telecommunications to anyone interested but what new can I offer that you might not have in any of your modern nations like Internet or Cable or Satellites? Well Vico Corps offer their Battle Networks a quick explination next.

What is a Battle Network?
A Vico Corp Battle Network is created for mostly Military Communications covering the areas of radio, video and intranet communications all in one tight package.

How does it work?
First a note. I work at a real Cable company and I have learned most of the Internet and Cable settings, wiring and how does everything work in all the time I have been there and now I want to use all this real experience in Nation States to make RP even more real than it is!
To explain it in short terms. Video and Internet are transmitted either by copper wire or optic fiber which are sent in radio waves. This waves reach a CRC which then modulates the signal and resends it back to where you want it. For those who know about computers the CRC does the same work as a HUB or a Re-Router... sometimes it looks more like a HUB :P

How will it benefit me?
Some say connecting an entire net to one server is madness because if it falls it will all fall. It all depends on how much you want to invest really so if you invest a lot in the Battle Network Vico Corp will be able to give you an even better service and less probabilities for the system to collapse.
Other benefits is that its virus free unless someone inserts a virus to one of the servers or PC that are in this so-calles Intranet.
Also Vico Corps uses its own O/S which makes it a lot harder for hackers to enter your servers or PC again pointing the fact that its an Intranet and its not connected to the World Wide Web.

And how much will it cost me?
Well it all depends on how big you want it to be so if you are interested you can go to this page. http://vicocorps.proboards30.com
So if you are interested in knowing more you can simply post there on the Vico Corps network and Ill check it out and give you a reply.

For now thats all so anyone interested can contact me by the webpage.

Thanks again for your time people.

The Incorporated States of Tom Joad is the first customer of this battle network, extending from the highest echelons of the command structure all the way down to the platoon commander. We plan that at any one time we will be able to access, divert and inform our commanders of the tactical and, should it be necessary, strategic situation. Such an investment is naturally a long-term one, our goal though is for fixed strategic locations to be hooked in to the network, which we are referring to as Milnet, within a year.

The exact details of the network are naturally classified and several aspects of these details are entirely native in creation, thereby ensuring that even if we find ourselves facing a foe equipped with the same battle network ours would be truly unique.
