We welcome this new rising nation to the world at whole, for even nations that fall outside normal means such as your Confederacy are open to relations with France. We take a great interest in building relationships with the Confederacy, and perhaps open talks and negotiations will officially establish this relationship between our nations.

Our experience with Lupines, Lycans, werewolves and such is very limited. However, there was isolated incidents in the wooded hills in older France where we suspect either a very aggressive wolf or some sort of Lycan was responsible for the deaths of many people, which led to a fanatical hunting of all wolves that has put French wolves to the brink of extinction, and only recent laws concerning the wolf have helped it regain some of its bearing. The former Pacte des Loups spearheaded the craze against wolves.

There may be some tension within our nation about relations with lupine creatures such as yourselves, because of the history that my nation has with wolves. But perhaps past wrongs can be righted, as we are trying to do with our scarce wolf population in eastern France.

We are curious as to where you wish to place relations, if any sort of pact should be made, be it a Non-Aggression Pact or Mutual Protection Pact. Or perhaps by establishing a trade contract or urbanization contract as you do with another nation, we can aid the Confederacy directly improve their health system and production as to alleviate many of the problems of pre-industrial society.

What kind of vermin are we talking about here?

Intelligence: At least as smart as apes. They open doors. Have not figured out locks. Yet.

Forepaws measure between 12” and 24” across, are webbed. Did I mention the claws?

Effective hunting, scout, and guard parties would be desired for a contracted period, once proven effective. An initial group of five hundred of your population would be an acceptable amount for initial testing. We could guarantee a payment of 75,000 USD to each individual participating, with bonuses attached for bears slain. If the individual was slain, the payment in full would be forwarded to whomever they name as beneficiary.

For the sum of some 38.4 million USD, my office has procured five hundred and twelve beings to go and hunt the polar bears which have infested our region. As you can see from the illustration, we believe them to be exceptional hunters.

When they arrive, they will be informed of the polar bears tactics (group attacks, swarms, that single bears are rare, apparent intelligence increase, general body armor) and "released" to hunt south of Kjik'Kjak. Supply runs will be arranged as per usual.

Our office projects a significant dent will be made in local polar bear populations before these mercinaries are completely wiped out in approximately two months time.

The 373rd Field Artillery will be on-hand as always for local defense.

It was a bit difficult to gather five hundred Winza'Fa' from the frigid high lands of the mountains, but Lord Bloodwoven saw that it was done in a timely fashion, now the five hundred and twelve warriors strolled through the streets of the capital, all of them clad in flowing trench coats and sunglasses.

To say that the Lycans were eager for the hunt would be a great understatement, they longed to tase the fat, blubbery flesh of the polar bears. They were lead to the airport, where several wide bodied jets had been prepared for them.

"Hunting Polar Bears?" Isnt that a bit beneath us?" asked one of the Elders to another, smiling abit. The other Elder drew his own smile. "Yes, but this hunt is going to very interesting. And why pass up the chance to feast on a nice, fat polar bear, and get payed for doing it?"

He responded, the two shared a chuckle as they boared one of the jets. All of them soon took off, headed for Antarctica...

As such was the station's job, millions, upon millions of individual transmissions from Earth were intercepted, decoded, translated if needed, and relayed back to Planet Krowemoh. The main job of the Cori's Gift was to keep an eye out for potentional allies, soon-to-be victims, and chances for Corporate Expansion on Earth and other planets in the Sol system.

In the main Cummounication blister sat ten computer terminals in a semi-circle around the Mother AI Matrix Terminal, which governed all aspects of the space station. Only two Vector employees were active at any given date.

The AI Matrix could process information at a rate five hundred times as efficent as any sentiant being. The Vector CommTechs were there only to carefully review information Mother deemed noteworthy. Usually chances for trade pacts, alliances, or on the rare occassion a reason to go to war.

The Lycan Confederacy presented itself, requesting allies. One of the Neko technicians tilted his head at the transmission. "Mother. Define Lycan for me." He asked out loud.

"Lycan. Short-hand for Lycanthorpy. A blood diease in which the infected muiltates into a blood thirty, savage wolf-beast. The infection is spread through bodily fluid contact, usually when salvia from a bite comes into contact with blood." Came the AI's reply.

"I see... Hmmm... So... Why would a Confedaracy of these want allies, then?" The Neko asked.

"Maybe they're good wolfies, who want friends?" The other Tech piped in, adding her two cents to the fray. "That, or it's a trick so they can spread. Either way, the Corporate Execs would probably like a look at it."

"Alright. Mother, copy and flag the Lycan Confederacy's message, relay it to the Vector Industries Department Head of Foriegn Relations. Pass it through the Gate Generator, I'm sure they'll want it today, not months from now."

"Affirmative."

The AI Matrix took the transmission, copied it into her internal storage matrix, then relayed the transmission through the nearby Gate Generator to Vector Industries' Corporate headquarters on Planet Krowemoh...

Hours later, the station recieves a reply...

Accompanying it is an Ultor Corporation VIP Transport Shuttle, within it held a lawyer, diplomat, and a fresh set of trade contracts.

The first neko shook his head. "I already feel sorry for those Lycan things."
