Imperator Tyrannvs shuffled and scanned through some papers on his desk, stopping occasionally to savor the sweet taste of his Falernian wine. A momentary pause was interrupted by Consvl Marivs who promptly burst through the doors, apparently with something important to say. Tyrannvs leapt from his chair.
"What is it?"
"It seems I've forgotten what I was going to say..."
The old consvl searched, what some would call, his mind looking for the answer.
"...Ahh! I've got it! I was just about to remind you that we've yet to receive any international embassies. Regional, yes; outside of that, we've little influence."
Tyrannvs nodded.
"You're right. Ready a message to the international community. Inform them of our situation and let them know we are open for relations."
Marivs, who had been gazing out the window, snapped to attention,
"Of course! Right away!"
He scurried away to his office and typed up the notice.
