Politics: The current chancellor is the first since a series of different governements phased through. Parliament is made up of 351 members, ten from each province and one form the capital to offset a stalemate.
Civil Rights: Sel Appa allows full freedom to everyone except homosexuals and illegal immigrants.
Education: Students are required to attend pre-school at ages 3-5 and then primary school ages 6-10, then secondary school ages 11-15. Following this is University, which is 16-22. You must pass through university to get most jobs. Anyone receiving below a 65% Final Average is expelled and must seek private schooling. All students must follow a pre-designated unifrom. Flexibility is allowed. Students are required to complete:

Archery is also highly encouraged. Equestrian is legal and the government has been trying to promote it. It seems to be catching on.
Language: English(official); French(semi-official). The northeastern area is dominantly French-speaking. It is an official language of that area. All Sel Apppans are required to be fluent in English and French as well as another foreign language. By Supreme Law, the French area must remain French. Trying to convert them to English is punishable through High Treason.
