The Great Hall was decorated as beautifully as it had ever been, and many thousands turned out to see their fearless leader's speech. It had been nearly a week since victory had been declared, and tonight would be the night that the world would hear it for itself. After several hours of feasting, the Sentinels around the area began funneling people towards the famous balcony where Damien always made his speeches, and the fiery Warlord was greeted with deafening cheers as he stepped out into the ngiht air.

My Freeks, my brothers, people of the world. I am Lord Damien Dreadfire, called Destroyer by many....and I declare total victory over the oppressive regime of Rayne.

The crowd the erupted for a second time, but was promptly silenced by a single raise of Damien's hand.

Although the day is won, it was not without loss. Azrael the Advocate, the most beloved son of the Freeks, was slain by my hand when he turned from me and the light. The One, my most loyal guardian, was taken away from me by Rayne as well, and he too was destroyed. It will be 6 months before his soul makes the journey back to this world, and I eagerly await his return.

Although Automagfreek is wounded, we are still not down for the count. Most of AMF's cities were spared from my destructive wrath, for my forces made a single incision into the capital. A majority of our defensive posts are intact and left abandoned by the now destroyed Automagfreek Nazi Party, and our forces from afar have returned home. Zander and Brinks have returned to my side, and Automagfreek's military is still very capable of repelling any foreign attack. I will not lie, our first strike capabilities are not what they once were, but I am going to our allies across the globe, especially those in NATO, and asking for major financial assistance.

This conflict saw the debut of our newest weapon: the Sentinel class super-dreadnought. I am ordering more Sentinel class ships to be built, and our military spending will now be increased exponentially. I will work around the clock to restore our military in order to keep all of us Freeks here at home safe from any threat. I am also ordering an increase in HOUND V2 ballistic missiles, and I have many more weapons that I will be putting into the capable hands of the Sentinels. Today is a day of change, and Automagfreek will once again be leading the way in this world, keeping it safe for all those that rally to our banner.

Do not worry yourselves, friends of The Island of Rose. Destiny is what won the day, and even though you could not commit we still thank you for your generous donation, although with what I have planned it will be awhile before I will be able to pay it back.

We would also like to take this opportunity to ask our allies in NATO to loan me a substantial amount of money for the plans I have laid out. Our military will be undergoing a massive overhaul, including newer weapons, ships, planes, and upgrades to our Sentinel Stalkers.

The aide handed over a manilla coloured folder that contained the transcript that had been hurridley typed out by a communications officer watching CNN just minutes before. The paper was still warm from the laser printer that had produced this hard copy.

Two minutes later after reading the speech twice the President turned to his Chief of Staff who had entered the room with a similar folder, reading as he walked.

" I assume you have noticed that he is already talking about his first strike capabilities. They will be back up to scratch pretty sharpish if I know Dreadfire, especially with NATO aid streaming in as it will."

"Thats a definite Sir. Perhaps its time to bury the hatchet with them?"

"Ha."

He allowed himelf a brief laugh.

"So that we can become one of those brownnoser NATO types, I think not Joe. However a limited friendship may be better in these days. Stop them acting out against NWO or another of our allies or maybe even us to show the world that Dreadfire is back in business. Ill need to talk to SecState and the leaders of the NWO before we do anything though. Sort it out will you."

Firstly, on behalf of my nation I would like to congratulate you on your return to power. Though we feel the event was inevitable in itself, we are pleased to see such events come into being much sooner (and with much less bloodshed) than expected. We wish you a long reign of stability and peace for your government and hope the wounds of the past will soon begin to heal.

The request for financial aid have been accepted, and we have decided to simply ask you what you require from us in assisstance as oppossed to dictating the sum and setting the conditions for its use. AMF News Update

We have just received word that Lord Damien has ordered the full reopening of 2 Sentinel producing facilities that had previously only been at 20% production. More of a long term investment than anything, the upgrade in Sentinel production spells trouble for AMF foes afar, for further down the road Automagfreek's military will swell in size, according to Minister Hartman.

With the passing of the second Automagfreek civil war, Lord Dreadfire has seen it fit to gradually, and to some suddenly, increase his military production and weapons nearly 200%. The increase in Sentinel production is an 18 year commitment, but by the end of that time we will see a significant increase in the size of our military. We are also ordering the production of 3 more Sentinel class super-dreadnoughts, and other military upgrades will be made over the next several years.

As it stands now, Automagfreek's defensive measures are adequate, and even though Lord Dreadfire's infantry is heavily damaged and the late Azrael's forces are wiped out, AMF still has 8 other active Warchief's whose forces are unscathed, for they were afar when the civil war went down. Our air force and navy are pretty much intact, and our slightly weakened infantry is being given a boost. Our armor corps is being increased, and our Sentinels will receive additional training and have access to more powerful weapons. We also plan on tripling our special forces (our Sentinel Stalkers), and upgrading them additionally.

Automagfreek will continue to be a pillar of military might and a safe haven to our friends and allies across the globe. Thank you.

Heh...

I meant 1 Diamond = $1.78 USD.

So that means I was offering $1.78 trillion USD... I was trying to RP using my currency, something that nearly nobody here does. I have yet to see someone RP using their native currency instead of US Dollars.

I am now the second Chaknov to congratulate Lord Damien in defeating Rayne. As my father before me, I shall offer aid to the Freeks in their time of need. I believe that something along the lines of 50 billion Sigs should be adequate. (1 sig = $1.3557) I wish that I could offer more but there is great turmoil on the horizon for my beloved nation.
