Denmark has always been a strong power in Europe, mostly becouse it was, with Norway and Sweden, a controlling nation of the Baltics. The Osean Rule, currently in Spain, Portugal, and France, was looking at Denmark as a possible front for both strategic and economic reasons.

With that, two naval divisions and an amphibious division took to sail torwards Denmark. With it, came a note.

"The Osean Rule wishes for a peaceful annexation, as this is so the European States can be more economically stable and protected. Jewittist ideals would allow for near-nation control over your state, and we assure any oppression will be hit hard within out many branches in our government. This, like always, expected to be returnned with a 'No Thanks.' If this be true, bloodshed will accure, and the Osean Rule would win, hands down, not even your sovergeinty could deny that."

As the Danish Government...

Copenhagen, Denmark
Queen Margrethe II and Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen had called a meeting of the Danish Parliament. If Truitt were to take over their small country, they would have to forfeit their rule. However, they would also benefit greatly. With Osean Rule came military and economic protection.
After several hours of deliberation, the Danish Parliament decided to accept Osean Rule, so long as they were respected and the transition was peaceful and short. Also, the Danish Royal Family was to be allowed to maintain their noble titles and estates.
They submitted these terms to Truitt.

Meanwhile, many civilians were taking arms against this decision.

The Osean Rule hears this, and wishes to occupy the said state to keep civil freedoms and protection as high as possible. The 3rd Mariy Division should be in Danish coastal waters soon. Also, what if a second nation, Sweden people to be exact, was to hold co-ownership of Denmark, in the southern areas. We will insure great rights, as our own.

This is gladly accepted, as occupaition is greatly needed. In return, we will see if the Danish will allow for their southern territories to be held. We do, however, wish to note that this is on our necks and the up-most rights should be provided for the people.
