Three large cars moved slowly and deliberately through the streets of Praeton, surrounded on all sides by mounted police officers and police motorbikes. The Praetonian delegation, consisting of the Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary, was moving early in the morning from the Houses of Parliament to the Conference location - a large marble building whose roof appeared to be supported by columns on in the Greek stlye - at the head of the Royal Mall.

"Do you think the talks will go well?" The Prime Minister remarked idly to his Cabinet Colleague sitting opposite to him and the direction in which the car was travelling.

"Perhaps... a lot of these nations haven't shown themselves very tactful in the past. The delegates from Roman Republic will probably cause problems, based on our past experiences of them," the man replied, leaning forwards as the car came to a halt outside the conference building.

Stepping out of the car both Ministers and their entourages were immediately assaulted by reporters and photographers who were being held back by emaculately dressed policemen holding ceremonial spears. They waved to the cameras. There was a lot of public interest in this conference in Praetonia - it had been a long time since the nation had hosted such a conference - although the nations and alliance in question was more or less unknown in Praetonia, and those who knew about it were largely uninterested. The two men entered the hall, much to their relief, and entered the grand room that would be used for the conference itself.

The great ceiling was over three stories high and decorated with paintings depicting the great victories of Praetonian armies in centuries past. The room was filled largely by a massive oak table, at each seat of which a microphone was placed. They could not see the megaphone system, but it was there. Now all they had to do was wait for the delegates to arrive.

[OOC: Don't bother posting the planes landing, it's dull and needless.]

The 5 delegates arrived in a new ospray they step off the plane and the stormtroppers were standing right next to them walked to the cars waiting for them and they got in and the car started to take them to the conference. The stormtroppers were following them in the car be hide and in front of them.
The 5 delegates started to talk about what was going to happen at the conference. Jove said in a most happy voice "Sparks will fly and we are not in the Alliance any more but we wish it not be distroyed." The other delegates agreed timely. The the car stoped and they just walked past the news reporters and wet in to the great building and smiled and took a seat were it said Soviet leaders. They got ready for the conference to start.

The armoured cars carrying Jamums Dictator (who will not be named) and foreign minister Arthur Pint headed quickly though the streets to the conference they would not be late for such an important meeting and ordered the Jamum guards to speed to the meeting causing several accidents on the way the Dictator muttered under his breath "here we go".

when they got out of there vehicles the press was stunned by the giant guards in full armour shouting abuse at them pointing there guns while the crowds were distracted the leaders slipped into the conference

The press looked stunned for a few seconds, and then began to hurt insults and expressions of outrage in the direction of the troops but also, and more vocally, towards the Dictator entering the hall. The press began to jostle the Praetonian Civil Guardsmen [OOC: police] holding then back, but the Guardsmen quickly pushed the reporters back into line with the shafts of their spears as their Officers standing behind the lines motioned to the soldiers to lower their guns.

The story immediately went live on IPBC [Imperial Praetonian Broadcasting Corportation] News 24 and World Service, and live images would soon be spread around the entire globe. Not a particularly good start. Indeed, it would not be too long before a small but growing crowd of anti-Dictator and anti-Jamum protestors would appear outside the conference hall.

Jamum's Dictator was wearing his gold mask know one knows why he keeps his identity a secret but the mask was certainly imposing the foreign minister however was clearly tired probably because he spent the night wreaking his brain thinking of what to say

Inside the hall they heard the loud noise coming from outside the stormtroopers got ready to blast anyone trying to hurt the delegates and then they realise it was just the Dictator that was coming a they went back to talking about how they got assigned to this conference. One of the stormtroopers said "Why are we here the delegates have a shield that can protect them from a laser beam."

The first chairman of USSRL, Garithos, arrived in a black limo. His five bodyguards surveyed the area before the chairman stepped out of the car with his six advisors, waving to the cameras and making their way towards the building and the conference room.

Jamum's Dictator said with a grin "there not used to vultures"

Garithos answered:
We're used to getting along with the proletariat. We don't talk to animals.

ooc:shall we begin without the late leaders?

Jove got up and wet over to the delegates for the nation of Praetonia
he said in a cherful voice "Hello I am the Minster of foregin affairs for Sovoiet leaders I am sorry to say that the Emperor can not attend" he looked for what the other delegates were doing he found them doing what he asked. He was hoping that the dictator was not mad at the thing he sent them today.

Soviet Leaders is leaving this Alliance. Because of the following reasons first
We see that this Alliance has no checks or balances and is in need of some revising. We also see that this will become a war like Alliance and that new nations will get be hide a nuclear weapon but we will help this Alliance through the tough road ahead. We hope that the Conference will help this alliance get on the right track. We think that the Alliance should have some sort of governing body filled with nations that are not war like and have some sort of respect also that the name of the Alliance should be changed to something less treating to other nations. We wish to see no war come out of this we will still give the Alliance the discount at our store.

Jove was looking at his watch and said "When are they going to start this thing." He was ready to speak for the Improvement of the Alliance for he had set up guid lines for the Alliance to agree on or he thought these were not ment that the Alliance should not be alound to be. The guildlines were
1. The Alliance will make no nation the 100% dictator and that there is a senate.

2. That no nation below the population of 100 milion gets to control a nuclear weapon and that there are nation that will vote on if the Alliance goes to war or not and not a War Council with nothing to make sure that they aren't making a big mistake and if war is really the ONLY ANSWER!!

3. that the older nations that are not the ones to jump into a war are in the Governing body and not small power hungry nations are in power.

that was all he had for right at this moment.

That was what I was thinking said the Dictator but we will need to find some old nations to help look after the young

Jove yelled "YES... EVERYONE SHUT UP" than sat down and hope that every one would sit with him and here what the dictator would have to say.

the Dictator was playing all the possible scenario’s in his head why hadn’t they turn up did they not care? where they planning an attack on the building? but the question he kept asking himself was how is Jamum doing?

Though history there has been many alliances the Triple alliance, the Allies etc but all have collapsed due to rivalry, unable leaders and the constant threat of enemy’s we however wish to change the pattern we want to create an alliance were we do not fight each other or have corrupt leaders the U.N has already attempted this but has failed because it does not share America still keep’s its secrets hidden from it’s so called friends. the poorer nations like Britain and France fall further behind every hour we will never catch up unless we unite think of what we could achieve the cure for cancer, man on mars etc the rules of this alliance are:

1# there will be no wars without the alliances permission though we can not back this up at the moment unnecessary wars and wars that involve nuclear arms will damage your position in the alliance

ooc: you can justify a war on Iraq because you got rid of a genocide willing dictator

2# you can not keep any technology’s secret from the alliance unless deemed necessary

3# new nations will receive a training programme before they can apply for positions in power

4# there will be an election for positions in power every 2 (rl) months

5# there will be an elected senate to govern the alliance

Ooc: 6# this alliance is multi-tech though different tech’s cannot interact ic and will have a separate government

The alliance will also need to have trained Generals which we must insist go though several war games to prove themselves capable there will also be a vote upon whether or not a nation can use biological, chemical and nuclear weapons in any war.

There must also be an economic council that will maintain the alliances economy and balance what percent of spending will be allocated.

There will also be permanent seats in council for the best economy, best military, largest population, and worst off nation in the alliance

The Praetonian Prime Minister moves to the front of the lavish conference hall and takes the podium,

"I hope, on behalf of my people, that this conference can truely help to preserve peace in the world through the normalisation of relations between the World Superpower Alliance and its dissenters. I therefore declare this conference officially open!"
