Jordan sits on the Green Palace's balcony, watching the Gravball nationals. He would be in it, but he had sprained his ankle playing soccer the day before. He munched on a cheese-filled pretzel, his favorite since he was a child and sipped from the finest Peach Cider Green Sun could offer, which was very good peach cider. He thought of how the time his grandfather, King Earnest, had started Green Products by growing peaches and making cider to the Russian population on the large island. One of his butlers came up to him and said,

"Prince, Princess Julia has arrived for her Spaceflight. What shall I do?"

"Cure her for Spaceflight sickness if necessary. Then bring her up here so we may enjoy the Gravball game together," Jordan replied. The oriental butler bowed and said,

"Yes, your majesty."

"Just Prince will do fine, Chong."

"Yes, Prince."

Chong left the Prince. Jordan poured himself and Julia a glass of Peach Cider. He had heard rumors she was being courted by other princes and kings. This worried him a bit. He did not want to make her so disposable, but what if another one got to her first? He shook his head, shaking it off. He would try his best, which was usually very, very good.

Suddenly,a car pulled up.First came out the Inquisitors who opened the door for Julia.They chanted a private prayer than started to look around.''Where is Jordan?''Said Julia.

Chong bowed as she stepped out of the car and said,

"Jordan is on the balcony watching the Gravball game. Normally he would be in the game, but he sprained his ankle yesterday so he is incapable of playing today. But before you see him, do you require a cure for Spacesickness? Many people who are not used to Spaceflight get it and is very simple to cure."

Suddenly Shaku Sha'amamee walked out of the palace. He looked ta the human girl and, because she was not not Russian or Chinese descent, did not recognize if she was from Green Sun. The 7' tall alien looked at the girl and Chong.

"Chong, who is this?"

"This is Lady Julia of Rommelwood. Jordan plans to court her."

"Rommelwood? Hmph. I don't think Jordan knows what he's getting himself into. Carry on, Chong."

Shaku walked away and entered his vehicle and drove away.

"That's Shaku. He was a soldier in the old Human-Covenant war and he still doesn't trust humans, especially those who aren't Neo-Islamicx or its founding religions. He's very dedicated to his job and his religion."

What the point of this game,again?

"The way you play Gravball is simple: get the ball and throw it in your enemie's hoop. Sounds a lot liek basketball, but it's much more complex. For one, you must score 100 times to win. Secondly, you're not on a flat surface. You're in a giant ball without any gravity, so you must propel yourself using 'Stars', your enemies, and each other. Secondly, you must get the ball through the hoop four times to score one point. The most challenging part is try to get through your enemies without getting propelled back by opposing 'Gravmasters', players with special gloves that push you back to your hoop. Gravmasters are also the team captains. Red Homes is doing very well without theirs, which is me, of course."

The bodygaurds rushed into actions, killing the man within seconds. But as soon as the shooter was shot, machine gun fire erupted and riddled the men with bullets.

Suddenly a NBS terrorist approached them, only to be shot dead by Jordan. They were then met by several Green Sun soldeirs and bodygaurds which escorted them to an armored car.

A half mile down the orad, the leading vehicle was destroyed by a roadside bomb. Then the convoy was ambushed. Jordan then instructed the commander to go directly to the Spaceport.

"Listen, Julia, I can't tell you how much I care for you. But NBS seems very determined to kill you, possibly me to get at my parents and the goverment. You'll be directly escorted back to Earth with our best fighters. I truly wish we could stay together, but I fear that if you stay here for even one night NeoBlack Sun will wind up bombing the palace from orbit. You'll be safe at Earth. I'm sorry, Julia. I'll see you to the ship."

"You don't understand. NeoBlack Sun is very pissed at Green Sun. If they even see you, they'll shoot you on sight. My grandfather, not Earnest, my other grandfather, was a general in NBS. Earnest had to gun down his best friend. They haven't taken my grandfather's death lightly at all. I'm the future of Green Sun, Julia. I only wish you could be alongside me with it."

Try to paint a picture of everything when writing. That is the best thing you can do.

Not literally, but describe the colors, smells, and sometimes feelings of what's going on. Here's a little remake of a post I did when GS had its civil war.
The Private ran up the stairs franiticly. He looked behind him to make sure the Collapsian soldeirs were still behind him. The wooden stairs creaked and bounced as he ran up them. When he got to the top room, he expected the Colnel to be standing there. Instead, teh Colnel was dead, along with an enemy sodier, whose face was severely burnt and there were several holes in the man's chest. Standing at the window was an Elite, standing eight foot tall and wearing red armor. He was holing a Carbine rifle used by the Covenant soldiers and at his hilt was blue Plasma rifle.
"Who are you?" the Private asked.
"Sargeant Shaku Sha'amee. The Colnel's dead, so I'm in charge now."
"Well, the Collapsian soldiers are here. Where do you need them?"
"I need them off-planet."
