This proposal carried some ground towards global unity, but as soon as the mention of "democracy" came around it lost its appeal to the citzens and goverment of Gashtekka.
Democracy is flawed, evil and the one way to corruption and disorder. We simply cannot agree to such a proposal and keep a clean concious and stress free mind.

Our Meaning of Democracy:
The people's right to pick they're leaders, freedom.

The people's right to pick a leader they would like to rule them never means efficiency is granted, nor is it guaranteed the majority are in the moral "right". The majority could simply vote in Nazism. People in masses arn't known for their great judgement.
The state, and it's people are in a relationship rather alike a parent-child relationship - If the state is the parent, keeps the people (the children) in the right, they will do well. They will be told to do soemthing and they will do it, peak efficiency and no childish disagreement and inefficient bickering.
However - if the state is ruled by an elected official, well... That's just like getting the most popular child on the street to boss the others about.
To preserve unity, co-hersion, humanity and most importantly for humanity to survive - efficiency - the state must not be bickering or argumentative, such is democracy. The state must be the guiding parent.
By no means is democracy any guarantee of freedom. It is simply a fickle switching of public decision of key issues of goverment.

1) How can it be called disarmament if a member can still use his forces to invade someone? Those ideals are all well and good, but not universal, and usually just make good excuses to hide more unsavory reasons.
2) Where do these $1 trillion donations come from? I doubt any nation can afford that for even one year for more than one or two other nations. You certainly can't support that many members that way. And if there are membership dues, than the whole thing becomes null and void.
I'll sign it, but i won't abide by it. And if ya wanna stop me...oh wait your disarmed...you can't.

Hello there. No, no, I'm not here to sign. Just here to wish you luck in your impossible endeavour. There's no way this will happen. Ever. Time to become a realist, my friend, hard as it is. Now, if you don't mind, I have some leprechauns to catch. I can just smell that gold...
