The Persian fleet sat in the port of Bandar Abbas, bobbing in the tides as the gangways crawled with navy personnel. Cranes on the ports unloaded crates onto the decks of the vessels while hoses pumped gasoline into the engines of the myriad vessels. In one side of the harbor, troop transports crawled with the new marine divisions running up the gangways while massive cranes pulled tanks and hovercrafts onto the vessel deck. Other transports carrying regular army divisions were sitting prepared. Suddenly, alarms went off, and one by one, the port crews removed their hoses and gangways from the ships as the last crane loads were placed on board. Then, the ships began to pull out of their berths and make their way out into the Persian Gulf. Their destination was simple, the only deepwater harbor in Namibia, the port of Walvis Bay. Many decendants of colonists lived there, but they would lead now rather than the natives. From there, expansion into other parts of Africa would be easy, and the farmlands to sustain Parthia could be created. That is, a simple expansion into South Africa, now so disputed by by many could have a portion of it set aside for farms, run by slaves to feed the Parthian population.
