Voice on TV: We are sorry to stop the showing of your program but we have to bring to you this news.

"A female reporter appears on the screen, behind her are the yellow walls of Voronej state-hospital. A bunch of bodyguards with AEK-971 assault rifles are blocking the entrance of the hospital. Two black, bullet-proof limuxins are parked sideways 5 meters away from the entrance stairs."

Reporter: At 14:00 o'clock today Prime Minister Ivan V. Mishin has been rapidly transported to Voronej State Hospital. One of the nurses has come out and given us the information regarding Prime Minister's condition. From what she told us we know that Minister's heart is failing him, the direct cause is unknown, however it is certain that the condition is being complicated by the bullet wounds which were received by Prime Minister, seven years ago during the Neo-Nazi rebellion and their attempted assasination upon his persona...

"A middle-aged man in white-medical clothes ran out of the building and stopped on the middle of the stairs that lead to the hospital's entrance."

Nurse: ON MERTV!!!! SLUSHAITE MENIA!!! ON MERTV!!!

(he is dead! listen to me! he is dead!)

Reporter: We will back once we have more information and confirmation of Prime Minister's condition.

Emperor Thomas fell back into his chair when he heard the news. 'Ivan... dead... It cannot be. He was only...' The Emperor didn't know exactly how old he was, but he sure wasn't that old. Ivan had a family. The Emperor knew them. He had send the children presents for Christmas and their birthdays every year for seven years. Quickly, the Emperor picked up the phone and had the operator in the basement contact the late President Ivan Mishins family. The operator had them on the phone after five minutes.

"Hello? This is Thomas, from Cotland. I just heard. Is it true?"

Suddenly the transmission was cut for few seconds. Once it was back on a black and white picture appeared on the screen on every TV channel.

A commentator began to speak"

Commentator: A face you see before you is the face of our new Prime Minister, Alexander Chorni

He is a humble man, a patriotic man, he has everything a man needs to lead a nation as great as Pushka. In years of 1987 through 1989 he served in the Pushkan army on the border with Squarchelous.

After his service to his beloved nation was over he became a businessmen. Arms manufacturing was his business. That was during the time then our Ex-Prime Minister Ivan Mishin has made a wise decision to allow a limited private sector to form in Pushka in order to compliment state-owned manufacturers.

In year 1999 he went into politics, he was quickly elected a member of Duma in an industrial city of Novograd.

In 2001 he became popular amongst the members of PCPC for his bold policies and the inspiring speeches he made at 56th Central Duma Meettings.

In 2002 he was selected to be a member of PCPC. For 4 years he served our nation as a member of that committee, constantly improving our lives with his decisions. Amongst the projects he voted for were the Space Programm, the military budget expansion program and the health care programm. The last two he propossed himself.

Now he was finally our Prime Minister. And although right now is a time to mourn for our great leader Ivan Mishin who passed away and who shall forever be remembered, it is also time to look in the bright future which will be forged by our Prime Minister, PCPC, the Great Pushkan Communist Party and you, the people of this Grand Nation.

-Pulkovo airport, few miles outside of Voronej-

"Alexey was standing on an runway line with two bodyguards behind his back. To his right was head of secret police Kiril Androsov and to his left General Igor Mishin, Pushkan supreme military commander and Ivan Mishin's brother."

Kiril: Sasha (short for Alexey) so what are you planning on doing with this one (referring to Rothsky)?

Alexey: I am not planning on breaking the alliance status but i will make some chages. I need to get to know this man before i can do anything about him and his nation. For now they are our allies, we have two military bases in their territory, they trust us...

"A roar of engines deemed his voice. Several huge airplanes with Cottish markings on them landed on the runways and started unloading their cargo. There were Jeeps, Lemosines and people. Pushkan leader and his people aproached an airplane with Royal Cottish markings on it. A huge man came out of the airplane, it was Rothsky. Alexey greeted him."

Alexey: Kak bil vash poliet?

Emperor Thomas, dressed in a black suit with a matching dark red tie, stepped out of the Cottish VC-25, closely flanked by four soldiers dressed in black suits, their jackets open, ready to grab their pistols and concealed MP-5Ks to defend the Emperor. 400 meters away the cars were driven out, carefully watched by the soldiers. Looking down at the end, he saw a Pushkan delegation. Stepping down, he was asked about the flight.

"Thank you, it went very well." Thomas turned to the general. He remembered him as the late presidens brother from the intelligence files. "I'm sorry for your loss. Ivan was a great man."

"Very well," the Emperor replied as he followed the men to the limo.

Well inside the limo, the Emperor sat down in the back seat, with one soldier on each side. The other soldiers climbed into one of the M1114s and followed the Emperors limo. These weren't your standard military Humvees though. They were all painted black, with the XM-312 MG hidden inside the vehicle. It could be mounted on top of the vehicle within 5 seconds, ready to fire. Two of these Humvees followed the limo, while the rest of them waited to escort the Phantoms to the hotel where the entourage would be staying duing the visit.

OOC: I assume that we are using the Cottish limo?
Pushka

OOC: Actually no, but you didn't mention that we're using a Cottish limo so lets say we are using a Puskan limo.

IC:

"Two BMPs rode nearby the limo and the Cottish Jeeps. One in the back one in the front. Head of Secret Police and General Mishin loaded themselves in a helecopter standing by. The only people who joined Alexey were his two bodyguards. Alexey set opposite to Rothsky"

Alexey: I guess there is no point in not speaking english anymore. There is a lot we need to discuss my freind. Ivan Mishin has passed and things are going to change around here, but i think that our peoples will still remain good allies. I understand that this was a long flight and you are probably tired but there is a meeting i would like you to attend, we need to show people that Pushkan and Cottish people's perspective of each other has not changed. We could sign some minor trading agreements.

"While they were talking the limo stopped at a huge white-marbel building with a giant sign on it, "DOM OPERI IMENI LUDAKOVA", "HOUSE OF OPERA OF THE NAME OF LUDAKOV".

Both leaders exited the limo and went for the building, photo cameras started flashing all around them. At the top step of the entrance staircase Alexey turned around, smilled and shook Rothskie's hand. Cameras started flashing more intensively"

Alexey: This one will make the front page.

"He said quietly"

Thomas stepped out of the limo right after Alexey, soldiers half a step behind him. They got a little freaked out when they saw all the journalists, and could sense the Emperor's dislike. He had never liked them, but he didn't show it. They were a important pawn in the chessgame that were politics, so he accepted them. Barely.

As Alexey and the Emperor shook hands in front of the cameras, the cameras went crazy. The bodyguards took up positions where they would not interrupt the cameras line of sight to the two heads of state, but where they could protect them from anything from a sniper to a crazed person with a sidearm or knife.

"Alexey noticed the suspicion and dislike on Rothskie's face"

Alexey(aside to Rothsky): Don't worry, we have this whole place surrounded with snipers and bomb detectors if anyone tries anything funny, they're gonna be dead before they know it.

Alexey(outloud): Let us go to the opera, after the show we will have our meeting and discuss the future.

"They all entered the building and watched the show for another 4 hours. After it was done with Alexey invited Rothsky to one of the secured rooms in the opera building. In the room there were two black leather chairs and a small, brown oak, round table in between them. The guards were left to stay outside"

Alexey: First of all let us talk about those military bases you have promised Ex-Prime Minister for him allowing you access to Pushkan land in North America. My question is where will those bases be located and so on. Oh wait a sec, i forgot my manners. Would you like tea? Coffee? Something stronger? "I'll take a coffee. Black no sugar please. I never touch alcohol when I might have to negotiate. Would you mind if I smoke?" Thomas asked, pulling out a massive Havana cigar from his inner pocket in the jacket as he sat down in the chair.

"About the military bases, yes. If you'll excuse me a second." Thomas said to the prime minister, calling a Cottish officer over with his right hand. "Colonel, get me the proposal from Shaw."

The officer nodded and opened the briefcase he carried, pulling out a dossier that he handed his Emperor.

"Ah yes. This, my dear Alexey, is our proposal to the military bases we talked about. The first one we had in mind are Ovarst Air Force Base. It's a base that we used to maintain for our shuttle program before we moved it to another location. It's located near the Carthaginian border at Kirov, and sports a 5000 meter runway, reinforced bunkers that can hold almost 100 planes and it can accomodate up to 10 000 troops. Here's a satellite picture of it."

The Emperor handed the following picture to the Prime Minister while he smoked his cigar.
http://i.a.cnn.net/cnn/SPECIALS/2002/iraq/bases/images/al.udeid.airbase.jpg

"The second base we are willing to offer are Indertia Naval Base. This base is located in Karelia, where we have assumed control recently. It can house up to 30 naval vessels, with docks and all that support stuff. What do you say?"
Pushka
02-04-2005, 21:39
Alexey: This seems reasonable, my nation agrees to your proposal. Here we have already prepared a document, where are two blanks for you to write in the bases you going to give us and space for you signature.

"Alexey wrote down the names and locations of the bases Rothsky told him about and signed the paper, Rothsky did the same"

Alexey: Okay then i am guessing we are done for today, tomorrow is the funeral, you and your guards can stay in "Harchevnia" hotel, my people will drive you there, unless of course you have some other plans.

"Next day Alexey met the guests who came to the funeral, some of whom weer foreign leaders, in Kremlin near Voronej Square."

Alexey: I understand that you have been briefed on how this will work. Me and General Igor Mishin will be holding on to the front section of the coffin, our foreign guests, his highness Emperor Rothsky and leader of Roman Republic will have the weight of the middle section on their shoulders. The buttom part will be carried by our head of secret police and a civilian. Okay then lets give this man a funeral he deserves.

"The six men picked up the large, wooden, shiny coffin and the front doors of Kremlin have opened. Outside a great mass of people were standing on the sides of a narrow cleared path, they were kept back by the soldiers standing in their first lines. A soldier with two middle-age slavic sabers in his hands led the procession behind him were the coffin bearers, behind them were 2 rows soldiers with early 20th century nagans strapped to their shoulders, the whole procession was moving slowly. Soldiers were marching, putting considerable force in every step. An orchestra began playing, a children's chrous began to sing" (in Russian)

Unbreakable Union of freeborn Republics,
Great Pushka has welded forever to stand.
Created in struggle by will of the people,
United and mighty, our motherland!

Sing to the Motherland, home of the free,
Bulwark of peoples in brotherhood strong.
O Party of Communism, strength of the people,
To our own triumph lead us you shall!

Through tempests the sunrays of freedom have cheered us,
Along the new path where great Karl did lead.
To a righteous cause he raised up the peoples,
Inspired them to labor and valorous deed.

Sing to the Motherland, home of the free,
Bulwark of peoples in brotherhood strong.
O Party of Communism, strength of the people,
To our own triumph lead us you shall!

In the victory of Communism's deathless ideal,
We see the future of our dear land.
And to her fluttering scarlet banner,
Selflessly true we always shall stand!
