Today, a national mandate and global call-to-arms was issued by Premier Napoleon Bonaparte V of the Free Land of New Veritas:
"My noble comrades and compatriots, the world in which we live is facing a fearful decision, a choice for the future of all mankind, nay, the world. For centuries a darkness has been looming over us, an evil so great as to be misconstrued as good. Oft times in history is evil so deceptive as to be thought beneficial for mankind, from the empires of Darius and Caesar up through the Axis Powers and even now to the globalizing American Empire.
"The evil I speak of my friends is an ever-evolving, ever-consuming decadence that, in modern times, is known by one simple name: capitalism. In this nation we enjoy the fruits of our labor without losing rights or individuality. But when one gazes out upon the worldly spectrum, one sees imperialism and menace. Capitalism relies upon the intrinsic vices of humanity, the Machiavellian sentiments that thrive for individual achievement regardless of any code of honor or ethics. It breeds ill-will and derides any and all altruism of the human mind.
"My friends and compatriots, even the weakest capitalist nation or the most potent Fascist state all have the same basic characteristics of injustice. There is a profound gap between the wealthy and the bereft, and the burdens of economy always tend to fall upon the middle classes and proletariat. The bourgeoisie are the ones who benefit from this society. They hold all the wealth for themselves and deprive their people of social welfare programs by effective government lobbying or infiltration and propaganda (or as it has been known in the modern age of subtle slavery of the public mind, "public relations"). People live in slums and ghettos because they were weeded out by social darwinists who wish for hegemony, not the progression of the human race.
"What is of paramount concern on this day is not the age-old injustice that we are always campaigning and fighting against, no my friends. I recently ventured out into the world of capitalism, a corporate state not unlike the US. I talked to many lower class and lower-middle class individuals. I was nearly taken aback when I heard what these men and women had to say. The blight of poverty, they believed, was an undeniable sin. They despised themselves for not having the cutthroat virtues of their coroporate masters. In these countries of capitalism, wealth defines a person. Persons without wealth are taught to hate themselves. And what is even more alarming friends, is that these same persons are nationalistic. They love the nation that denies them rights and freedoms because the machines that run the media and the public eye are so effective that citizens are unaware of the injustices that plague them so. They are comfortably numb and ignorant. They are unknowing slaves to a vicious master.
"These vicious masters toy with human life. They wage wars for economic gain, not to end injustice but to inflict it upon others. Genocides and massacres in South America, Southeast Asia, Africa and the Middle East have been committed for the sake of resources, economic strangleholds, and political power through institutions of blind puppet governments.
"Thus I proclaim that the Free Land of New Veritas denounces any and all imperialist nations that embrace the economic and societal doctrines of Machiavellian capitalism. In the event that any imperialist nation wishes to wage war for the assumed sake of self-gain and/or economic opportunity, this nation will be the first to retaliate. I call upon any and all willing nations to join in this retaliatory coalition to stop the globalization of decadence and corruption in all its forms. I also call upon any international governing bodies to look into human rights violations of said nations if they are not aleady doing so.
"My friends, it has been theorized that a species normally only has a life of several hundred-thousand years before its extinction or progression. We should not waste the precious time allotted to us. Jointly, as a global society, we should stop the animalistic, destructive doctrines of our corrupt brethren so that we may progress into enlightenment instead of retrogressing into annihaltion of ourselves and perhaps the world.
"The time to sit quietly in the shadows has passed, my noble comrades. Let us stand against global oppression and hatred. Let us be at the vanguard for peace and coexistence. Let us be the champion of ethics and compassion. Let us progress into a new age, an era of reason and enlightenment that will endure forever."
