I tend to ignore the desperate attention seekers who are always starting some thread about killing babies for licking lollipops the wrong way; it's been a while since I've seen a great RP involving on-going, quality posts of human rights abuses. I'd probably vote for AMF, although I've never done more than glance through his RPs.

They are amusing... in any case, AMF is the self-proclaimed master of genocide..and I believe him..very good choice.

My main nation of Huntaer. It doesn't just deny any rights, but also almost exterminated an entire race of Force Sencitive people known as the Malkir (my Jedi Faction) when the Kirtir(my sith Faction) took over the Huntarian Republic and replaced it as "the Galactic Empire of Huntaer."

Only 20 or so Malkir remain where as the Kirtir number in the thousands.

I think it's very silly how you all seem to compete for the title of "most evil nation" (well not AMF and Caelta, and only to a lesser extent Generic and Borman Empire). In real life nations that do "evil" things always try to deny and cover things up, not make a big fuss over it to show everyone just how "evil" they are.

Definenitly the worst human rights is in the NS version of Nazi Germany is Coreys Land. For crying out loud he has concentration camps and his leader is named the furuer

Not really that bad, hell, I've killed Shoobans, Communists, PETA members, etc, etc in numbers over 100,000 and thats just executions. Lets not forget the people in my prisons suffering a living death. Or perhaps how in wartime, I used chemical weapons on civilian towns and slaughtered several million over the last few months.

Exactly my sentiment, which is why I voted for AMF, because most of the others, such as The Parthians and Roach-Busters have the "abuse flavor of the week" ala Baskin Robbins, which loses its luster after the fifth genocide.

This isn't meant to be an insult to The Parthians/Roach-Busters/nations implied, but only my observation and sentiment that it seems trivialized because of it prolific and "liberal" use. Interesting choice of words indeed.

Hitler, in his sick, twisted mind, presumably honestly believed that Jews were going to destroy Germany, and didn't just decide to exterminate them "for fun". That, in my opinion, is bad RPing. For that reason I voted "other" because I refuse to be party to silly attention-grabbing RPs, but I would otherwise probably have voted AMF or (if he were on there) Guffingford. Still, RB and Parth can RP however they want, I just dont want to be a part of that kind of RP.

But the real world isn't pocketed by massive amounts of 2 billion + nations who all kill massive amounts of their own citizens. Moreover, unlike NS, the RL has a police state, called the United States, as well as Europe, who like to bully the smaller nations, who are the most likely candidates for genocide/murder/political oppression. The ambience of NS advocates the creation of large, powerful, oppresor states and I don't see it as a gimick to gain views... well, it is.. but not entirely.

Well, to be fair, I do order the extermination of all sufferers of AIDS or HIV by eunuchs, specifically castrated for the purpose. This means that the number of AIDS sufferers in Falcania is almost zero.
I really don't understand people who do this either since AIDS isnt a very contageous disease and can be largely erradicated using cheap drugs and a modicum of education on the subject.

As far as I know AIDS cannot be healed, and the fact remains that there will always be a strain in a country if the policies taken against it are liberal. Quarantine and erradication of the threat has always been the most accurate policy to completel destroy AIDS.

AIDS can be slowed significantly to the point that (in Western countries) suffers can lead almost normal if somewhat shorter lives and it takes very little to teach people to act in such a way as to not contract the disease. That's why the incidence rate is so low in Western countries. On another matter, I don't know how all you "purge zem all" countries survive a week without a revolution. Some of them really are very silly.

Well slowing AIDS might not be the agenda of said nations - instead complete destruction of the strand is. However, in California, where I live, AIDS infection is particularly nasty - at least 20,000 infected...either 20,000 or 200,000...either way, that's a huge number..and I think right now it's 200,000.

In any case... they probably bestow very draconian laws on their citizenry and are always on martial law. Rebellions are most likely put down before they even begin. I wouldn't doublt secret murders during the night - Gestapo type stuff.

OoC: I say Chronosia, the Chaos gods are nasty! Guff is evil but he wouldn't be the worst human rights abuser...simply because Chaos use peopel as sacrifices, among other inhumane things.

Bah, this all assumes that human rights are universally the same, given that a nation makes it's own laws I wouldn't really concider a nation which permits the ownership of slaves to be breaking any human rights, unless they have actually given humans the rights not to be enslaved in their nation and are breaking their own law intentionally.

Like many things, human rights are relative to the nation which is defining them.

One of my Kirtir Lords has the ability to destroy an entire planet through the use of the force (ever played KOTOR 2?) just to keep his power growing. I'm planning to use my INR cannon (if I actually do use it) on a Huntarian Alliance system to get a captured spy to talk about where they got more ships from not stealing ships from Huntaer. The weapon will destroy the whole system.

Indeed. Also, some FT nations (maybe even odd MT nations, who knows) may be humans at all, and would see no reason to treat them with any level of respect. To the Yautja, humans are nothing more than prey. They are recognised as worthy prey, to be sure, but when all is said and done they are not thought to deserve any more 'rights' than a lion or a dog.

Probably AMF, because I actualy find his characters believeable in what they do, to a level beyond that of most " look! We killed people! Omg we killed people aren't we bad lol??" nations. Plus, the way Amf is portrayed is probably the most effective way of doing things when you are looking at a title like this.

Sorry I didn't vote for you RB, its because Shoobans don't have human rights to abuse since they aren't human.... so I'm stuck with judging you on the basis of killing commies and a few other groups. Shouldn't these circlejerk threads be put in one of the other forums? This is not an IC RP or discussion about the policies of nations. Doesn't it belong more in Gameplay or NationStates than in Intl. Incidents?
