OOC: Well, it's been two years tomorrow (24th) since I joined NationStates. When I first looked over the site I was very eager to sign up and learn the ropes, and I said to myself that my goal in this game is to make an impact, however good or bad, large or small. Two years later, the nation of Automagfreek is a household name, a symbol of military dominance and fear. It's leader, Damien Dreadfire, is one of the most famous in the NS world.

Some would say I got lucky, others would say that through my writing and dedication to detail I've forever earned my place in the NS history books. Either way, there is no denying the imact my nation has on this game, for almost every player in I.I has an opinion on AMF in some way. I really couldn't have asked for much more than what I have, but sadly over the past 5 months my time on NS has dwindled. Girls have come and gone in my life, friends have passed on, and my free time is sporadic.

However, with my second civil war ending, it's looking like I may be freed up abit. 'The Westwind Chronicles', my long running saga about Damien's son Azrael and the second AMF civil war promises to be one of my finest works once it's completed, and I look forward to filling I.I with entertaining RP in the months and years to come. I'll be restructuring Automagfreek once my civil war is concluded, and I'm looking foward to some more quiet time around the boards. I'm not looking for any wars in the near future, unless someone ICly steps on my toes, in which case a good 'ole Sentinel ass whooping will be in order. ;)

Cheers to everyone who has been a fan of my work, even though the term 'AMF Groupie' tends to get slapped on you guys. I appreciate your [TAG]'s and comments, and especially your posts.

The Port Yuko Times

excerpt: Section 1, page 14, bottom

PORT YUKO- To celebrate AMF's birthday, several dozen Bonstocknian men, wearing costumes in the same fashion as an AMF Sentinel, threw a party at the AMF embassy in Port Yuko, Bonstock. Eventually, all the guests become hopelessly drunk, and start trashing the abandoned MagicChina embassy next door, burning it to the ground in an enormous fire. While a government panel agrees "The site of that former MC embassy will make a perfect spot for Lord Harald's new mansion," the party throwers were escorted away by a few men in dark suits and sunglasses, into black cars with tinted windows. Strangely, none of them have been seen since, and all supplies of alcohol have been banned to the AMF embassy in Port Yuko. Lord Harald apparently called Damien Dreadfire to complain about the incident, but got a wrong number, ending up recieving a Pizza Hut in ULE City, AMF. After a quick quarrel with the telephone operator, the lord of all Bonstocknians ordered two large pepperoni pizzas and a 2-liter coke, which were delivevered later that evening. However, when the pizzaman arrived, he demanded an exuberant payment, so vast that Lord Harald had the man arrested and threatened to cut diplomatic relations with AMF unless AMF paid for his pizza. Updates will be made as more information is recieved.

OOC: My congratulations. It's a wonder how time goes by so fast, and how many pieces of writings you did throughout the two years. I can still remember seeing your HOUND the first weeks I joined NS, in addition to all the stuff relating to the days back in August '03.

My congratulations to you, sir. You are truly one of the best to ever grace this site and it's even better to still have you around. Happy NS birthday!

Congratulations. I have enjoyed your writing since I first saw you on the fourms(I think it was during the FWS incident, man that seems so long ago now).

You've kept NS very interesting, if not somewhat sadistic over the years. Although you are probably the most feared nation in NS history, you're pretty cool in my book! I look forward to your future posts and congrats on your two years of NationStates.

Well I'm too lazy to telegram a bunch of people with it so I'll just spam this thread with them:

Basically, the world, or the part of the world that agrees to this 'universal NS roleplay on I.I.' falls into depression. Mind you, 1929 style. Then, specific nations (we would have to agree on who) rise in a 1920s/1930s style extremist regimes, whether ultra-right or ultra-left, and the entire plot goes into a world war. Of course, the end of the war would have to be agreed upon and the entire thing would be a set-piece war, however, it would make for a very interesting read - WWII with modern weapons is what everyone is interested in. Moreover, the fact that we know who's going to lose and who's going to win means that those who lose won't feel any disgrace and will save face knowing that it was set-up.

Of course, the general plot has to be changed because that's just ripping off the Second World War but I'm sure that we can think of something. This was actually inspired more by Larry Bond's Cauldron than the Second World War but meh.

We would also have to agree on when to start this. Most nations have some sort of agenda, like myself, concerning their country, and so we would all have to 'set this up'. My first emperor, Jonach I, is expected to be named 'the great' so I can't have him lose a war (if I'm one of those destined to lose..I hope not :P ), so I'll probably have him die right before and have some sort of squabble for power which can actually pre-empt and cause the fall into depression in the Macabee Empire...in any case, yea, we would have to set it up.
