Mozambique and war [Earth RB]

General Markus Auerlius looked at the reports. He had managed to gain the influence of several influential people within the government of Mozambique. He had managed to do the same with multiple neighboring countries, including Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and more. He had managed to learn of a civil war occurring inside of Mozambique. Pro-Communist and anti-Communist defense forces had been working on different lines for Mozambique’s defense. The republic came under verbal, and then physical fire. The country has been divided by pro and anti-communist forces and they have been fighting amongst themselves. The civil war has yet to heat into anything really big, there is mainly only fighting when they encounter each other and several attempts to overtake important buildings of the other side. Markus was hoping to have an agent inside of Maputo start a large rebellion and launch the city into turmoil, and then he could declare war on Mozambique.

Maputo:

Adolf Himmler walked down the streets of Maputo. He took a turn in a dark ally and went to a shadowy back door. His pale white hand shot out of his long dark sleeves and knocked three times in rapid succession on the door. A viewfinder opened and two steely blue eyes peered out.

“The fuck you want?”

“Michazelf forshta!”

“Welcome comrade.”

With the passwords said a mechanical bolt sound was heard and the door opened. Adolf walked into the room. A small white bulb hang loosely from the ceiling illuminating the small room. Adolf pressed his hands against a clever drawing of a door on the wall, it then slid back and aside. Adolf walked down the staircase that had come into view. In the large sprawling basement hundreds of people had gathered. They wore different clothes, but all masked them slightly. They spoke in hushed tones and an eerie silence settled over them as Adolf stepped up on the upturned crate in front of them.

“My comrades! The time is now for our revolution! Tell your friends, tell your comrades that it will occur within the week. Republic forces have amassed here, and left to assault a communist stronghold in the distance. In their absence the town is weakened and we can rise to strike them. We can take Maputo in the name of equality! We can take it foe Mozambique’s communism! We can take it! Are you with me?”

Cheers went up as guns and fists were raised in the air.

“Go, spread the word. We will get word to you of when it happens.”

"The communists are not interested in independence," chanted one of RENAMO's leaders, a deeply spiritual man and a fiery, charismatic, powerful orator. "They are merely exploiting the presence of foreigners to pusue their own diabolical goals of world domination, totalalitarianism, and a garrison gangster state. Come, my brothers! We shall drive them from our land, the way the Portugese were driven away, and as will the Bormans!"

The policeman walked down the dark street with his truncheon gripped loosely in his hand. His breath was white and visible in the air and the sound of his feet resounded along the cobbled road. He looked at the tavern to his right, perhaps a drink.

Then he noticed something, the lights were off. The 24/7 tavern was closed; why? His grip tightened and he took a step forward. There! Did he see something black in the window? A shadow? He took another step and then another. There! Again!

The door flew open and several shots came from a silenced pistol. The policeman held his hand to his chest, and then took it away. It was covered in red and more was pouring out of his stomach. Several more shots and the man fell over.

One of the men from the tavern picked up a radio. “Go time.”

Doors throughout the city flew open, taverns, hotels, homes, apartments, stores, anything. Pro communist militants charged out with assault rifles, grenades, and other weapons. Policeman fell to gunfire as the revolution began to encase the city.

The few military persons still within or near the city were in several influential precincts. These were surrounded and a siege began. The others were burned to the ground, with the policemen still inside.

Government building were stormed and forcibly taken by the communist forces. Those that were not necessary were burned down as well.

“Viva la revolution!”

RENAMO militants, lurking in the shadows, nudged a few diminutive, adorable tots out into the street. Beneath their ragged, tattered, filthy clothing, concealed explosive devices were attached to their decrepit, skeletal, malnourished bodies.

"Go on," urged one of the guerrillas. "Go give those Borman soldiers big hugs!"

The ten children obediently waddled away to fulfill their orders.

OOC: Borman isn’t in Mozambique yet.

IC:
Aurelius’ official quarters:

“Sir, Mozambique is in civil war. Pro-communists versus anti-communists. Our agent has managed to stir all the commies in Maputo and is starting a revolution there. Most of Maputo’s guard left with another group of soldiers to head for a communist stronghold.”

“This is excellent news. Our men are nearby aren’t they?”

“Yes sir.”

“Send them in!”

Coastline by Maputo:

The few defenses on the beach were un-manned. All Republic soldiers had been stripped to come into the city and fight the communists, who would want Mozambique after all? Borman did. On the horizon a dark shape loomed into sight. More followed it, and then more, and then more. Hundreds of shapes were approaching and with the defenses abandoned no one could stop them.

Turrets swung un easily, ready for a surprise attack; but there would be none. The city was in a bloody struggle, fighting on every street and every building. Borman ships, some of the fastest around, were closing the gap at half speed. Suddenly all the ships put on full speed and shot in as far as they could. The fighting ships formed rings to protect from anything coming at them form the ocean. Carriers had their pilots get ready for bombing or for necessary fighting runs.

The transports shot into the sand, their guns not needing to fire. The doors opened and slammed down, huge spikes gripping the beach. Dinosaurs poured out, hundreds of thousands of them. As soon as a transport was empty it turned around and sailed out to allow full ones access.

The 1st and 2nd corps of the third army was on the beach and ready to move. They equipment and mechanized infantry were with them, and so they were ordered to move.

Maputo:

Adolf threw a Molotov cocktail at the RENAMO militants on the other side of the street. It exploded and he saw several limbs fly in awkward directions. A man next to him slammed a fresh clip into his gun, got up to fire and fell down with a red circle on his head.

“SHIT! Look!”

Behind the RENAMO militants two RM-30EP-D tanks rolled into sight. Guns and cannons opened up on the militants as Dinosaurs began to flank the tanks on the side and join in the firefight. Grenades and bullets poured into the RENAMO soldiers as the tanks continued a slow course forward.

“It’s Borman.”

“They’ll kill us all.”

“No, they won’t. I’ve been speaking with Borman intelligence. If we help they can give us some land to run in whatever way we want or send us to any country in the world we want if we help them. But let’s get out of here and meet up with the others.”
-------------------------------------------------------------
Throughout the city tanks ad large groups of soldiers began to clean streets of RENAMO militants and anyone offering resistance. Communist rebels gathered in the town center, clearly displaying who they were so as to avoid Borman death.

The tanks and soldiers came in from every way imaginable and were all making there way to the town center, making sure no resistance was left alive on the way there.

Tag, if everything from earth DA is relevant here than northern Mozambique from the 15th parrallel up on the east side of Malawi and from the Cahora Bassa on the west is occupied by my troops. They were setting up a buffer between me and DA.

Maputo was officially in Borman hands. Soldiers were constantly unloading and being sent up into the country. The pro-communist rebels had been conscripted into a small force and were clearing out the land south of Maputo. North of it Borman soldiers were working.

Limpopo river:

Three forces were at the river. Borman soldiers occupied the entire south side of the river. Pro communist forces (Who were not aware of what was happening with those in Maputo) occupied the upper half of the North side and RENAMO forces occupied the lower half of the North side. Constant gunfire came from both sides and crossed the river, there was also much gunfire in the division between pro and anti-communist soldiers.

A small wall of sandbags, barbed wire, and sharpened pikes had been erected on the Borman side. Every once in a while PC (Pro-Communist) forces would launch a small attack across the river. Most would die crossing the river and most of those who survived would impale themselves on the pikes and then whoever was left would be shot trying to get past the barbed wire. The town of Xai-Xai had been taken a short while ago and Borman forces had begun to amass there to assault the RENAMO forces.

Suddenly in the middle of the night several thousand soldiers and several hundred mechanized infantry exploded from the city and charged at the RENAMO forces. It was known that they had created a small trench in front of a small sandbag wall to protect themselves from a Borman assault. Unfortunately for them it only extended a short while along the side not facing the river and a small portion of Borman forces were on their way there.

The main force charged the defenses. Grenades rained into the trench as the RM-30EP-D tank opened fire with its powerful arsenal on the sandbags. CaDs rode alongside them with soldiers in their backs. A large amount of soldiers also rode on the tanks and these man began to open fire on whatever RENAMO soldiers they could see.
