World Factbook: Azharadon [ETR]

Recent history:

200 Years ago Azharadon used to be the major power in central Europe under the leadership of Alexander II, who led the nation to its peak of glory. But after Alexanders death, civil war erupted and neighbouring states invaded. Slow but steadily, Azharadons mighty army crumbled and Alexanders legacy was forgotten with the fall of Azharadons used to be capital of Prague 120 years ago. Weak king after weak king came until 10 years ago Petr I made peace with the neighbouring states and moved the capitol to Budapest.

Now, after 10 years of peace, Petr's son, the 18-year old Tomasz, has risen to power after his fathers death. Tomasz had been seen his mother die during the burning of Prague 12 years ago and vows to return there victoriously.

Status:

Azharadon is in a though spot. It needs to expand to sustain its huge population, but is surrounded by semi-powerful countries, who will come to one-anothers aid so its primary strategy is aither to reform the army or to join a powerfull alliance. The major target is the retaking of Prague, which is our rightful possesion.

Economy:

Unemployment and overpopulation are major problems for the economy. Most of the economy is based on the export oil and radium, which were found by accident while testing artillery in the mountains. The countries main export in amounts is videogames, for that they are renowned in whole the world. The main import is grain and other types of food.

Military:

-Royal Guard: Azharadons pride and one of the best infantry in the world. Armed with the expensive G36 assault rifles, USP45 sidearms and a Massive Retribution knife. Only after an extensive training and 5 different test do you become a royal guard. About 50 000 in numbers.

-TS95 tanks: Self-made tanks, especially made for central/southern European flats and mountains. It has a heavy design and is used as shockweaponry to beat back enemy lines. This new tank has not been seen in action yet. About 2500 in numbers.

-Regular infantry: The guys who do the dirty work. They are well respected and nearly all want to become a Royal Guard. They are very well trained but are not completely up to modern European standards yet in weaponry being armed with older FAL assault rifles. About 500 000 in numbers.

-Artillery: 100 Outdated pieces, nearly useless.

-T72 tanks: Old Russian tanks, are being replaced by TS95's. Numbering about 5000

-Airforce: None existent.

-Navy: None existent

-Support: About 500 000 men doing research or maintaining the army.
