The European Trade Union [ETR]

((OOC:This is for ETR nations only!))

TO:All European Nations
FROM:Middle Parliament, Nomaadia

Dear neighboring nations, the economy is slightly angling down and is soon going to be in the red in 10 more years. Yes, we export all over the world and we sometimes make money, dear European nations, though, the reason we are to be going into the red is because we don't have enough trade amongst ourselves.

So, I have devised a plan to stay out of the red and actually promote trade amongst ourselves and other non-European nations. I call this proposal the European Trade Union. If you sign up for the European Trade Union, we can trade certain things amongst ourselves without the high tariffs. Also we can collaborate, and manufacture things and sell them making large profits to non-ETU nations.

A great saying says, 'Birds of Feather Flock Together...and Make Profit!'

And gentlemen, if we do not bind our economical forces together, we will not grow, and we could possibly witness the demise of all European nations, soon spreading until the world becomes something were there are barely any jobs, and a ham sandwich cost 600U.S.D.

Now you don't want that, do you? So please, if you want to sign up, post here, and do it for Europe, yourselve's, and essentially, the world.

The Osean Rule wishes to join the said Union, in an effort to better the European Economy.

A joinning donation is at 56 billion [oB], or about 120 billion USD.

The Grand Imperium of Risban would like to make it known that our economy shows no sign of recession whatsoever. We do, after all, provide most of the computer software to Europe (and 25% of all viagra used in Europe too!) among our other exports. Perhaps this is due to our separation from the European mainland...
Nonetheless, we shall join this European Trade Union. The Emperor wishes to know the following:
1. How is a leader chosen?
2. How are things conducted?
3. What are the rules?

Councils are held every friday, or whenever needed. During councils we talk about economic problems and how to solve them, we set up trading routes, and store fronts along with putting tariffs on certain goods, and managing exports and imports.

The new baron is chosen every 3 months, but this may change. They are chosen by a council vote.

The Rules Are

1. Respect Board Members.
2. During council's you are allowed to speak for a designated time, appointed by the leader.
3.You are allowed to propose trade negotiations, store fronts, and other economic articles.
4. This organization does not EVER go into war.
5. This organization is designed to help its fellow European nations economically and is designed to make profit amongst the European nations.
6. To join, you must, geographicalogically, be a part of Europe on ETR.
7. A member can be impeached from the union. To do this, a vote must be held, the baron's vote is worth 3 votes.

I believe this so-called union is a threat to our independance and decline your friendly offer. I am however willing to decrease trade-tarrifs for seperate trade agreements but no union.

Oh no, this is no independance threat at all. If members don't like a trade deal/economic deal, they don't have to follow that rule and they won't get banned from the union. It's very loose and elastic. We work for the best of all Euronations.

OOC: Sevaris is Spain and Portugal in Europe, btw- we also own Gibraltar and Malta in Europe.

IC:

Sevaris wishes to join the ETR as well. We believe it is in Europe's best interest to act as one voice in the global economy.

It is no union unless it has rules and paths to follow. If it is just a loose thing it will only result to anarchy within the union and that will result to a downfall instead of an increase in economic power.

OOC:
Lol. I think there's been a mix up. ETR stands for Earth TR (Earth Truitt Risban). The European Trade Union is only for those in ETR. On ETR, Truitt owns Spain and Portugal, and is soon to take Gibraltar.

Remember ETR nations, get some stuff figured out because the first ETU meeting is tomarrow. There is no limit to how many speakers you can have representing your nation on issues.
