Hey there, Hi there, Ho there - I"m a new nation on the world scene and would like to build some relationships rather than get destroyed right off the bat - so no, I'm not declaring war on anyone, in fact I hereby declare "peace" on the whole world (for now anyway :) )
Below are the lyrics to a song and my national anthem which will explain my nation's view of itself

Embassy exchange too? sounds good, thanks, we've set aside 5 plots of land, one on the coast for a naval base and 4 spread around the coutnry for use by the airforce and army/marines - We'd ask that except in times of war you limit deployments to the bases to a number that doesn't appear threatening to my population.

being a new nation with a small military etc how can you be sure you won't be enveloped into his nation and taken over.

Imperial Germany would be glad to ally with you, for the small token plot of land for a naval base. We mean not to attack/invade we only require space as are own shores are full and we are not reclaiming land from the sea at a quick enough rate. If the need arises we will "aid" you in any forcful negotiations. Please telegram us at your descretion. We expect an answer soon.

I would also like to add that many nations will frown on your aggression, especially since this is a thread created for the peaceful negotiation of alliances.

Dictator for life, Barada Nikto, looked at the flood of email messages that had come in while he had been out dealing with other affairs - the offers of assistance and alliances was staggering, questions about the nation's views were understandable, and only one country had had the gall to threaten Politzenia He thought for a bit and then sent several replies:

1. To all nations wishing to engage in an embassy exchange, welcome, we will agree, subject to the following conditions - We have set up an "embassy row" if you will in our capitol city of Klaatu and have reserved spaces there for up to 75 embassy buildings - you may design and build them yourself subject to a height limit of 10 stories. Further, no more than 100 military personnel may be on duty at any one time within your embassy building and weapons will be limited to nothing more MAC-10's or Uzi type machine guns. Helipads on the roofs will be acceptable so long as they are used for civilian and medical helicopters. Military vehicles and helicopters will not be allowed. We will of course adhere to any restrictions you place on our embassies in your lands.

2. Those who have requested military bases and/or offered to exchange such with us, we do not, at this time, have a military of sufficient strength to even consider the establishment of a military base outside our borders - maybe in the future. We have granted Roach Busters permission to establish military bases in Politzenia and we will grant the same permission to Ruthless Slaughter upon an assurance that they have entered into a non-agression pact with Roach Busters (we don't wish to be caught in the middle should you two end up in a war). We will also enter into non-agression treaties with all who have requested them and will require Roach Busters and Endless Slaughter to enter into such a pact with us. NO other nations will be permitted military bases in Politzenia for the time being however, 2 is enough at this point

3. Our view on Catholicism and religion in general - religion is an opiate for the masses - if it gives them comfort to believe in it, they are welcome to do so, so long as their beliefs do not interfere with their duties to the state - where the 2 come into conflict, the state will win. So I guess you could say we have limited religious freedoms - no single religion is, however, singled out for special treatment other than the Cult of Barney and the Priests of Baby Bop which are banned completely.

4. Homosexuality - Again, so long as sexual preference does not interfere with obligations to the state, who cares. Issues of morality are up to the community at large - the government doesn't involve itself in the micro-management of people's behaviors. We have no need or concern in this area. We only demand loyalty and service to Politzenia - those who question our rule will find themselves before the ministry of health for reprocessing, otherwise, we don't worry about such issues

2 C-130 Hercules Transports have been dispatched with construction crews and the resources necessary to build the airbase. Our military will occupy it once it is finished. If you want we can fund the construction of an embassy for you so that you would merely have to send staff over to our country.
