It was announced today that over 50,000 troops 4 MCV’S , drop ships , and other equipment has been dispatched to the much controversial bad land area were ,mass pirating and military distrust among nations lay, to secure several K-Drymite cashes in the area these forces will be split up slightly , each one to hold each planet ,one of the planets has a huge supply of the stuff but its almost un inhabitable its temperatures in the day reach 250 degrees Centigrade its almost unbearable and the temperatures go -140 degrees Centigrade it’s a barren desert world with nothing but sand rocks and brine lakes of sulfur, the other planet is much more friendly ,its environment is a tropical rainforest type setting , its much warmer than earth but just like it environment wise . it has 3 main continents the K-Drymite deposits are located on 2 of them , they are huge deposits Spanning almost all over the large continents , this will be a spot for 2 bases and a large colony and numerous refineries and wells.



….1850 hours march 20th , 7th fleet

Ships moved along in a some what medium sized convoy towards 2 systems the newest federal cruiser the black shark was escorting them at the head of the formation ,it was state of the art utilizing new discovered technology millions of years beyond most people.
There hulls gleaming in the star light as they rumbled in to the systems just coming out of warp and interphasic drive, a few transports split off as the convoy got to the inner planets 2 were heading towards the jungle planet the other was heading towards the hell of a planet , the crew and troops weren’t to happy about going to a hellish world witch was to hot to handle most of the time .



Troops were beamed down and sent in large shuttle APC’s while MCV’s were brought down by Dolphin class carryalls Troops stood by as an MCV moved in to position starting to unpack ,several barracks were already set up while the base was being built, it would take a few days to construct most things the k-dry mite refinery would be the most difficult thing to build on the planets

My ground forces are now GDI based but use a mix of st tech

Construction continued hastily as at least 12 star ships moved in and fortified the system starting patrols up and down , a new general was just put in charge of the operation as well http://www.realts.com/images/gdi/gdip-gsolomon.jpg genial Richard Solomon ,he was sitting back at HQ sighing as he worked on several reports and looking over some military reports of the operations going on, he motioned an aid over and said


“ send orders to these new bases tell them to step up speed there’s always some thing lurking out there I know it ,especially in that sector of space.”

The aid nodded and said “right away general “ she walked out , rushing towards a comn panel tyeping up the message sending it to the base commander ..

At the base .. the command was looking over messages and noticed a new one blinking on the screen he told the computer to open it and it read as fallows

“ your bases need to step up construction and fortifications ASAP, there may be serious threats and enemy’s lurking in that sector star fleet is concerned they wont be able to protect you with more ships out that far , but they’ll try ,good luck!"

A small star port strip was set up already the base was at least half way operational , but bugs still needed to be worked out, the troops mean while started patrols on the frontiers of the K-drymite deposits or known deposits , squad 15 was on the frontier when they noticed some thing odd , the squad leader was called in by one of his troops he said “what the hell is that thing he scratched his suite head ,as he saw a black slab with
inscriptions all over it .
the solider replied “ I don’t know sir it looks weird , should we mess with it ?” ,the suad leader sighed and said “put a beacon on this thing make sure we don’t lose the spot we found it at and take it ..” , the other troops nodded one of the combat engineers put a small device on the spot were they had found the slab , one of them picked up the slab kicking up some dust as he did it , the solider looked at it and handed it to the squad leader the squad leader took it addressing his map , he said “lets bring it back ,our brains might want to take a look at it “ with that the patrols headed back there APC .. hovering and kicking up mass dust as it hastily moved along towards the base .
