OOC: If you want to get into this RP then please ask on the OOC thread that I will create. And to make life easier I am going to post as third jerusalem for this post.

A joint press conference between Third Jerusalem Prime Minister Joseph Hakim, The Massive Ethiopians President Kim Togo, and a mysterious man in the capital of T.M.E.:

Togo: "My people, Prime Minister Hakim and I have been in closed quarters for almost three hours discussing a revolutionary treaty. We are now ready to share our dream with the all of you."

Hakim: "The Treaty will be known as the Alaidos Pact 2, and it outlines the beginning of a new era for the entire region of Aliados. One hundred years ago, as you all know, we were united as one great and powerful nation...Aliados."

Togo: "But a terrible civil war started by horrible people tore our nation apart. Soon our region was deep into a conflict and it seemed like it would never end. It was divided by three factions...we know them today as Third Jerusalem, The Massive Ethiopians, and Nellisland!"

Hakim: "However a man whose name has long sense been forgotten was able to get the three factions to sign the Aliados Pact 1. Which seperated us into what we are today. Weaking a once mighty nation."

Togo: "Our nations grew and grew until we all became great allies. We are all at peace...and it is time to unite us again. We will become one of the greatest nations of all time. That is what is outlined in the Aliados Pact 2. The first seperated us and the second one will bind us together."

Hakim: "No longer will be known as The Massive Ethiopians and Third Jerusalem, but we will be know as Aliados. Yes, that great nation that feel almost a year. But you may ask who will run this great nation."

Mysterious Man: "I can answer that question. My people I am, Nicholai Arterski. And I am the sole decendant of the man who broke up Aliados. But I am here to make amends for what he did. By uniting us as one again. Hakim and Togo...you have been very helpful in getting me this far and helping us achieve my...I mean our goal. You will both be given high seats in the new government."

Togo and Hakim: "Thank you...Nickolai....what do you intend to be called sire."

Arterski: "How about...Dirigeant Arterski. I like that quite well. Thank you gentlemen...that is all."

Togo and Hakim bow and leave.

Arterski: "My people. You know the story. It has been told over and over again. Now it is time to write a new chapter in this fantastic story. Chapter One was the war, Chapter Two was the Hundred Years, and Chapter Three will be the union of Aliados! But some of you might wonder how I will go about this. I promise you that I will use all available resources to make our goal happen. My first order of business is too annex the nation of New Nellisland. That is step one. Soon I will annex Nellisland and all our dreams will come true. Thank you my citizens."

Arterski goes back inside the Presidental Palace of Togo and meets the two former leaders inside. They were conversing with two armed gaurds.:

Arterski: "Hello gentlemen...thank you for being so helpful."

Togo: "Anything for you...is there anything else you may be needing."

Hakim: "Yeah anything..."

Arterski: "Well there is one thing..."

Hakim: "Anything sir..."

Arterski: "You guys dead...hahahaha!"

Togo and Hakim: 'Wha................"

The armed gaurds shot both men in the back of the heads...blood splats on Arterski's face. One looks up and says: "What do want us to do with them sir?"

Arterski: "We will say that they were shot dead by an assassin. Someone who was looking to kill me but got them instead. We will pin it on a Nellisland oprative. We will make the public think that Nellisland is the bad guy and that they are trying to stop us with dirty tactics. They will eat it up. Ha...yes you men get on that okay. I have a nation to annex."

New Nellislandian President Haute Vitesse was sleeping with his wife when he was awoken to the news:

Haute: "What is going on...why did you wake me. This better be good or you will so fire..."

The aide that had awoken Haute put in the tape of the press conference. Haute was shocked to see the information on the screen. It was a lot for someone to process:

Haute: "Annexed! I think not...not now...not ever! Bring me my Chief of War immediatly!"

The aide rushed off to get Five Star General Martin Martini. About thirty minutes later:

Martini: "Martini hear...I have already been briefed sir. I have to say that this is bad."

Haute: "Can we beat them?"

Martini: "No...not without help. Should we ask Nellisland for assistance. They are in the same boat as we are?"

Haute: "No. I can't trust that Mike Nellis. His father was a bad man and so is he."

Martini: "Well he did give us freedom from Nellisland sir."

Haute: "Do not question me again, Martini. Alert the military and announce to the public that we are starting a draft. Every able bodied person...and I mean person. You got that."

Martini: "Yes sir. We have a standing military of one million and with a draft we may get four or five but that still won't be enough."

Haute: "Say a prayer Martini...say a prayer."

bump!

On the streets of Aliados capital (formerly Massive Ethiopians capital):

At least three thousand people from all around Aliados gathered to protest the union of Third Jerusalem and The Massive Ethiopians. Some were carrying sing that read:

"Stop the Imperialism!" and "Free our People!"

The crowd gathered in front of Arterski's palace and a man with a mega-phone got in front of the crowd. He began speaking:

Man: "You now why we are here! This senseless act of imperialism must stop! For a hundred years we have been at peace. A hundred years. For what reason to do we have to interupt that peace. All of our nations have prospered, but now we could possibly backtrack. This must stop! I am just a simply miner from Third Jerusalem. My name is John Parks. It's not an exotic name like Arterski, but it works for me. You all know where I am coming from. Life was great! We were all making money, for families were safe, and life was just plain good. Now we do not have that security. So we must fight this with all our might. So lets make sure that Arterski hears our opinion. Yell, scream, whatever but make sure that he hears! This will be stopped!

The crowd erupted in noise. Singing, clapping, hooting, or hollering. They were determined to be heard and no one was going to stop them. That is what they thought at least.

A meeting between President Nellis and the head of the U.S.N. military, Ager Coppenwrath:

Nellis: "Tell me, what are our options? Can we beat them?"

Ager: "There army is bigger then ours, but they are not as well trained. Nor do they have as good equipment so our chances are very good."

Nellis: "Okay...we should help New Nellisland. They are getting ready for battle as well are they not?"

Ager: "I already requested to help them, but they declined. Quite bad for them. They said not to help them one bit."

Nellis: "Stupid little buggers...okay. How is moral? Are the men divided or are they behind us? Because this is a dividing issue. I don't even know where the public is on this."

Ager: "The men as behind you one hundred percent. I...I promise."

Nellis: "Good...good. Put them on alert."

Ager: "Yes sir...I must go. I have a meeting to attend to. Good bye."

Nellis: "Good bye."

Nicholai Arterski sat alone in his room when there was a knock on the door:

Aide: "Sir. It is time for your meeting."

Arterski: "Okay.. Lets go."

He walked to the other side of the palace where he began his meeting:

Arterski: "I am glad that you came to see me, Mr. Coppenwrath. I need not say that you are key to my plan."

Ager: "You can call me Ager sir. And it is a pleasure to meet you, and serve for you. Now how may I be of service?"

Arterski: "You already know about my plans to unite Aliados. However, you and I both know that President Nellis isn't going to just let this happen. Nellisland's military is massive. It rivals some of the worlds best. Underated or not...I know this. But I also know that there was been loyalty problems."

Ager: "Yes. A lot of the men do not like Nellis. I would put it at half and half. A lot of them are loyalists of his father and find him unfit to lead. They don't trust him. He has done everything to change their minds. He raised benefits, paychecks, and made sure that they had the best equipment. No effect. But, if I may ask why is that important."

Arterski: "Rebellion of course. Do you think that we get the some of Nellisland's military to join our cause. It would help us and hurt them. Making it easier to take them down."

Ager: "They might. If someone lead them. Someone like me...perhaps?"

Arterski: "Of course. You are a smart man."

Ager: "I know. Yes I think I can get a fair number of defectors. I will get on this A.S.A.P. sir."

Arterski: "Good. Alaidos thanks you."

Ager: "Yet I thank Alaidos."

To: The Nations of Aliados

I sympathize with your predicament. It seems force may be the only way to re-unite the Nellislands with your region. If so, perhaps I could lend a hand...for a price.

Arterski sat alone in his room as usual when he recieved the interesting telegram from Roach-Busters:

The Nellislands are both client states of the totalitarian dictatorship Sarzonia, run by liberal monster Mike Sarzo. While Sarzonia's country and mine have agreed to never interact, in either a friendly or unfriendly manner, I wish to check and balance their growing power, and dealing with the Nellislands is as good a way as any to do it. While I am currently airborne, en route to Holy Paradise to see my ill friend John, I will send a team of diplomats to meet with you on my behalf. Thanks.
