Gaining new grounds: Attack in Huntaer space (Open FT RP)

Huntarian Alliances
20-03-2005, 00:36
A group of freedom fighters jumped from hyperspace and into one of Huntaer's outermost ship constuction yards. Malkir Councilor Krimos stairs out of his flag ship's bridge, the Pathfinder a Strident-class Star Defender, and out at Huntaer's Ship Yard. It has just completed over 10 new Imperial Mark 2 Star Destroyers. Krimos then turns to his aid, "Begin to send out all Squadrons. Have them try to cause confusion and target only military areas, we want minimum civilian casualties. Then I want an invasion of several of our warriors prepair for boarding action against the station. Have two of our Councilors go with them."

"Yes General. All hands, report to battle stations. Redemption Squadron, launch all fighters."

The fighters flew out of Pathfinder's bays, and head tward the construction yard.

Captain Greywald flew his B-wing along with the rest of his squadron.

"Ok people, lock S-foils and go into attack posistions. It's time to make a combat against our enemy."

"Roger that Captain."

"Roger that."

The squadrons then flew around the yards, causing tension amongst the troops and pilots who were off duty within the yards...

Onboard the Construction Yard, the troops ran franticly due to the inconvienient arrival of Huntarian Alliances fleet. Lieutenant Yernani got out of bed, and looked out her window and saw a small but mighty fleet arive out of hyperspace. She only had enough time to tough the "Red Alert" button on the side of her bed before several squadrons of fighters began to attack the Construction Yard. Unprepaired for the attack, she had no idea on what would be the outcome of the battle. "All units, report to your battle stations. We're receiving some unexpected and uninvited guests tonight. I want all squadrons to get out side ASAP and ON THE DOUBLE, RIGHT NOW!!"

The fighters from the Huntarian Alliance fleet swarmed the station in a matter of minutes, destroying very little. She started to run down the coridor, still in her military jumpsut, and ran to the command center.

"Report!"

"We have small damage done to the construction yard so far, but the Alliance's fighter's are destroying all of our docked starfighters. We're not going to beable to do much!"

"Fuck. All right, prepair for boarding action. I want all clones, volunteer fighters, and Space Marines out into the corridors as quickly as possible."
This isn't going to be good for us...

Captain Greywald flew his B-wing around construction sights of upcomming and completed Tie-Fighters, blasting away his lasers. He flew his B-wing around in circles, evaiding the automatic turbolader fire. He then turns tward a Imperial Star Destroyer Mark 2 starship and heads straight for it.

"Blue 4 and 6, I need cover fire! Draw away the turbolaser cannons so I can get a clear shot at their shields and then attack their bridge!"

"Coppy Greywald. I'm going in." Blue 4 responded.

"Jackson (blue 4), watch out for incomming fighters!"

"Got ya sir. I'm going to get these Kirtir bastards."

Jackson flew his B-wing around at the incomming fighters, weapons blazing, he destroyed nearly 10 of them. "Sir, if I may add something, this is almost too easy."

"I know commander. Keep up the work. These are new people flying them after all."

The B-wing squadron then turn tward the under the Star Destroyer, destroying the last shield generator. "All blue group people, attack the star destroyer at will!"

"Yeee HAAAAA!" Jackson flew his ship at the MK 2 ISD. He, Blue 6, and Greywald fired all of their Concussion Missles at the ISD, causing a huge explosion.

"Wow, look at that view. Camra shot!"

The Muktari Corvette came in just in time to see the explosion. The commander of the ship meerly shook his head.

"Just scouting out the area to see if it's taken, they said. Probably won't even see anyone, they said. Bullshit!"
"Sir, what course of action should we take?"
"Shields to full, have the fighters ready to launch, have all guns ready, but don't engage yet! We don't know who's who in this, and we don't want to be siding with someone we wouldn't like."
"Shall we hail?"
"Odds are they've noticed the giant greatax in space. Hail them and let them know we're just scouting out the area and didn't know it was occupied. We may not even need to get involved."

OOC: Muktari shields use an inertial system. They're especially effective against ballistic weapons, mildly against explosive, and relatively weak against energy. Just in case you decide to shoot first and ask questions later.

OOC: Technically, no one is in a talking mood. For now, you just automatically decide to join any force at your will without knowledge on who is what while you're "IC". Be warned though; you're dealing with the Kirtir(my Sith faction) and Malkir (my Jedi faction). So, you basicly decide.

IC:

Yernani staired out in disbeleif. She had never heard of Huntarian Alliances getting this type of fire power before. They were generally considered to be, pebell's in the Emperor's shoes. She knew then they weren't going to beable to defend the station.

"I want to get my shuttle ready. Prep it up lieutenant, and have a squad of Clones out there to meet me."

"Yes ma'am."

Yernani ran out of the command center just when the whole station area shook violently. Her head was banged against heavy meattle, causing a flesh wound on her head. She then picked herself up, and looked out the corridor windows. A Malkir boarding party was locked onto the station's docking hatches. No... There's actually a Malkir Councilor leading this boarding party?? Where are the Kirtir when you need them?? She also knoticed the two glowing yellow and blue blades of the Saberswords the Malkir was holding.

She pulled her blaster out of it's holst and ran down an opposit corridor, to evade the oncomming invaiders. The station has been breached.

The Malkir walked out of the hatches, with his troops behind him.

"OK, Seargent, take group one down that corridor, Corpral, take the other group down that one. Remember, set weapons on "Stun." We don't want anyone to get killed if we can help it. We only want the Construction yard itself."

"Yes Master Hiroshan." Said the corpral and seargent. Hiroshan took a third corridor, the corridor which eventually will take him to the shuttle bay that contained Yernani's shuttle. She's walking this way...
He reached out with the force, depicting where Yernani will run to. He then continued to alk down the corridor, where he then encountered several space marines, genetically enhanced humanoids. Their bolter's fired repeatedly at the master, but with effecient studies through the force, he lifted his hands and caused the bullets to collaps onto the ground in a smoking heap. He then waved his hand and they immediatly fell down to the ground unconsious and Hiroshan walked over them.
He walks further down the corridor, his twin swords glarring, and he just saw Yernani's shadow duck away down another corridor.

"They aren't responding, sir."
The captain leaned back in his seat and groaned in dismay. It was at that point he noticed the ship's counciler, a shaman, standing behind him.
"Yeah?"
"I detect two major influences of alignmenton each side. The attacking force leaning toward order and thought, while the defenders favor disorder and impulse."
The captain sat up and turned around. "All of them?"
"Certain individuals. A boarding party of them are already in the station, if my judgement of location is right."
The captain thought for a moment. "When in doubt, aid the defender. Have all fighters launched, guns blazing! I want our turrets giving us cover fire while our missiles target their larger vessels."
"Yes, sir."
Four top and belly turrets roared to life, firing on the attacking fightercraft. Twenty-eight fightercraft rolled out of the corvette's belly hangar, dividing into squads of seven. Missile tubes at the front of the corvette locked on to the main attacking vessel. (The Strident)

Listening Outpost: Tau-394, ES Edge World: Esi Prime

Beep, beep, beep...

The sound of the small alarm startled the scan officer. He was a new recruit, fresh from the academy. Only problem was, he was only good at reading monitors, and not at managing on a ship. So, the tall lanky officer was relegated to a lonely outpost, far from all he knew.

"Sir? You'd better come take a look at this." He said, as he motioned at his screen. The readout rose out of the screen as the holo-mon came online, its blue light bathed the faces of the Scanner and the commander who just came over.

"What is that?"

"Looks like some heavy energy discharges from somewhere off the edge of Huntarian space. Database says that it's one of their shipyards."

"Energy discharge? Weapons fire?"

"Could be, sir."
The commander stood up, and thought a moment. "Alright, alert command..."

Two Hours later...

Just out side the battle zone, a small flash of light burst out. In the center of the flash, a small dark object, no more than a meter across held silently, gentle starlight, seemingly disappearing into it. Suddenly, a violent rip in space-time itself opened in the center of the sphere. A mass discharge of energy resembling electricity, only infinitely more powerful erupted from the small opening. The energy began to force the portal wider, and wider, all the while, the sphere itself expanding with it until in an instant, the hole reached over two kilometers in diameter. The hole stayed open for a second when a long beam of light shot out from it, followed by dozens more. The beams immediately expanded into the bright, glowing siholettes of ships. The glow faded away revealing a smooth hull. Energy crackeled over all the ships as they quickly shed their bluish glow. The first ship revealed was the ES Capital Ship, Kaer'su. Behind it, followed the rest of the ES task force Sci'entar.

On the Bridge of the Kaer'su:

"Jump complete, Captain." Announced the ship Holographic-AI.

The bridge of the Kaer'su was heavey with tension. This would be the first time the Sovereingty had sent it's fleet anywhere outside it's borders. It was up to the crew to make sure it wouldn't be the last.

"Alright," Responded the captain, "Tactical, engage stealth systems."

"Aye,sir, Stealth activated." responded the tac officer. He pressed a few buttons on his console.

Each of the newly revealed vessels began to fade from view. Their hulls seemingly twisting and shifting until they vanished completely.

"Alright, take us in. Let's get a view on just who's shooting up our ally..."

While the battle raged, Sovereignty vessels observed at a distance, waiting for the right time to show themselves.

Krimos sat down in his command chair. He closes his eyes and reaches out with the force with such ease. He could sense the oncomming missles going tward the Pathfinder and slowly caused them to change course.

OOC: Same philosophy where luke used the force to guid the torpeatoes down the exhaust pipe of the 1st Death Star, the only difference is the Malkir and Kirtir are semi-imortal, (meaning they can die in war, but not due to age) and have more experience with moving objects.

IC: Yernani quickly glanced behind her and saw the Malkir Councilor strolling at her. She picks up he pace, she comes close to her destination.
As she approaches the door, the Malkir Councilor was almost on her back. Just as she pushes the button to open the door, she quickly fires several shots at the old Malkir Master. He easily blocks them, and just as Hiroshan ran in full speed at the opened door, she slams her fist on the emergency close button and the door quickly shuts in Hiroshan's face.
Cleaver little cloaver... he thought.

Yernani then turns and quickly runs at her shuttle.

Hiroshan takes his swords, and stabs them through the door causing the metal to melt open a hole large enough for him to walk through. He then runs at full pace out to the docking bay only to see a Setinel Class Shuttle leaving the hanger bay. It's flaps lowered as it left the hanger bay.

Hmm... I'm willing to bet we won't be going to see her again in the revolution. Ever. Hiroshan knew how much his ex-apprentice hates disapontments, almost as much as his current master. One of the reasons Hiroshan wanted to stun Yernani rather than kill her. He then turns around only to find a full squad of clones facing him. Ah, crap. Did I not just leave this party?

The clones bursted into the room, firing their lasers.

Hiroshan quickly ran through the volly of lasers and cuts down the squad within minutes, demonstraiting the energy saved up within him. After every clone was down, he then switched off his blades and started to head tword his boarding ship.

Yernani flew her shuttle tword the Kyanges fleet that just came into view.
She only has 24 clones with her, but it should be enough to try to turn the odds if she manages to reach the fleet in time. Well, better late than never I guess. Her shuttle was attacked by several other ships, but she managed to get pass the Huntarian Alliances fleet.

Hope they will let me in... Lets try useing the channels.
"Yernani to the lead Kyanges ship come in please. This is Yernaini calling for request to dock."

(OOC: OOPS. I deleated it.)

Yernani flew her shuttle past the Huntarian Alliances Fleet, she then made the jump to hyperspace to evaid her persuers. She set her course to the nearest Grand Fleet she could find. Ironicly, little does she know it will be the last Grand Fleet she will visit.

The Construction yard laid immobilized, it's machines weren't opporable.
With it's commanding officer gone, the station area was left in confusion.
The Malkir boarding party has taken controle of the bridge, but a small group of Marines had discovered that their med lab was carrying one of the immobilized Kirtir Lords after they discovered the lord who was sent off course from exploring the probability of alternate dememsions. Her name was Shelentiave, commander of the third Grand Fleet division, sister of Deshoonde. They looked at her as she was floating in the bacta tanks, being treated for her wounds. One of the privates walked up to her tank.
"Hey searge! Her proseidure is complete! Means we could wake her up."

"OK Private, you can do it on your own risk though."
The Private looks down next to the computer pannel and notices a bag, her belongings he assumes for there was her famed Double-blade which glowed a bright blood-red when activated. The Double-bladed sword's handle twitched. The Private looked at it startled for a moment, then figured it was his imagination. As he was about to lower the pressure, the blade flew out of the bag, and broke the glass of the bakta tank that Shelintiave was floating in. "SHIT!!" He shouted startled, and he was scared shitless for a female Kirtir was a frightenig sight.

She was crouched, wearing only a tight jumpsuit with her sword in her hand. She then gets up from her position and looks at the stunned group of soldiers. "What are you guys looking at? Seargent Opshal?"

"Nothing 'M lord. What should... We... D..ooo?" Opshal stuttered. He was still bewildered at the thought of another female warrior. They are rare in Huntaer space. Obviously, the rest of the squad felt the same, for they were all stairing at her.

"Well first off, we need to regain the bridge after your previous commander cowardly retreated. Then... What are you men stairing at? Have you never seen a girl before? Jesus! How long have you been out here?"

"It looks like those attackers are starting to get the upper hand..." spoke the captain.

A loud tone sounded out from the sensor station's panel. The operator took a look at the holo-monitor. "Sir, it looks like a ship just made the jump to hyperspace."

"Can you track it?"

"Yes sir."

"Good, get a type 4 probe to follow."

"Yes sir, preparing probe..."

The captain turned to the main Holo-mon.

"Alright, the attackers have had it their way long enough. All hands, tactical alert, code one."

The lighting in the ship instantly dimmed down. Throughout the decks, red lights flashed, while a loud alarm sounded. Fire arms stations flipped over, revealing their weapons. Bulkheads to non vital areas closed, and the fighter bays opened. The rest of the fleet followed in the alert.

"Tac, deactivate stealth, bring the ship within deployment range of the enemy fleet, attack pattern Ng-epsilon. Give them a volly."

"Aye, sir. Moving into range."

The Kaer'su slowly positioned herself within weapons range, and then quickly decloaked. Ten of the ship's massive main batteries began to open fire, releasing a pulse of nearly every energy known directly at the enemy fleet at nearly point blank range.

Yernani jumped from hyperspace into the deeper reigons of Huntaer space, the Captial worlds of Huntaer; Huntaria and Hunxa to be exact. She docked with the Eclipse Star Destroyer Affliction, one of the remaining 3 super command ships in the Huntarian Fleets(OOC: I'm going to RP on what I did with the other ships later on). As her shuttle's loading ramp lowered,
she saw a figure covered in black robes with a white mask which was worn upon the user's face. This was Deshoonde, Apprentice to the Emperor, Kirtir Dark Lord. Yernani slowly walked tword her superior commander.

"My lord, I'm afraid that the construction yard has been lost. The Huntarian Alliances fleet had *Chokes* ACK!" She was lifted up into the air, floating with her hands naturally closing around her neck, instinctivly trying to get whatever it was that was chocking her off. It was no use to try this against the force.

"Your failiure, Lieutenant, is unacceptable," Deshoonde released Yernani from his death grip, and she fell to the ground. She was gasping for air, like a fish out of watter. "You left a potentially unconsious superior commander to be in the hands of the enemy. You know how powerfull it is to turn a Kirtir to the other side, and have them fight for something under the influence of the puppets of the force?"

"My lord, Shelintiave could... OOMFF!" Deshoonde grabed Yernani by her hair, and kneed her in the stomach.

"Beside the point she could defend herself with the force! You disobeyed a direct order to defend your own station, and fled battle without permission to do so. That is a cowardly act of betrayal to your Empire Lieutenant! A punishment, which results in death."

"But... My lord... NOOOOOOO!"

Deshoonde, still grabbing her by the hair, pulled her face into his and his eyes began to glow bright orange. Yernani screamed in pain, Deshoonde violently threw her to the ground. Yernani began to crawl on her hands and knees, trying to escape but couldn't find the energy to do so.

Her hands were burning, as was the rest of her body. She slowly looks down, only to see that her skin was turning into ashes. "WHY MY LORD? WHY?"

"As I have stated before, failure is a result in death. You are hereby removed from your command position."

Deshoonde then turned around, and walked out of the hangerbay.
Yernani helplessly laied on the cold metal floor, her skin disolving around her untill her body colapsed into a heap of ashes.

Master Hiroshan walked up and down the command center where several more troops were dispatched. The station was now under H.A. controle for the time being. Hiroshan stoped in his tracks. And paused as though he was listening for something. A disturbence in the force.
A Kirtir Lord is on the station. This was a big mistake.

"I want all squads on full aleart. There is a disturbing presence here and I want them battle ready incase of a possible Kirtir attack from the inside of the station."

(OOC: Note, only one ship decloaked, not the whole fleet. I know that it wasn't clear, but that's why I'm saying this now.)

The Kaer'su's main guns fired beams that were of a multi-phasic energy, meaning that each blast was not of a single energy, but nearly every energy known. Nearly no shield was adaptive, nor powerful enough to withstand a barrage from every energy known in the universe. The deadly blasts were targeted at the enemy ships, effectively creating a wall of fire against the tiny HA fighter screen.

The pathetic fighters of the HA fleet were flimsy by ES standards at best, and not even worth a mention in the ES Archives at worst.

Onboard the bridge of the command ship of the ES task force Sci'entar:

"Sir, enemy has released fighters." spoke the ship A.I.

Captain Di'su na looked at the small fighter wings that approached.
"Fine, release drones at combat vector 312. A.I., engage auto turrets."

"Aye, sir, launching drones, auto turrets engaged." responded the AI.

Along the entire hull of the ship, hundreds of small pulse turrets designed to seek out smaller enemy craft powered up.

The tiny fighters would be no match for the hail of main gun blasts and swarm of drone fighters. With the fighters just turning around to face the newly decloaked carrier, they would be caught off gaurd.

OOC: Understood.
Also note: Malkir(like Jedi) aren't easily surprised nor are those who were trained by them (they don't necessarily have to be force sensitive for some of the methods). And if they are, they keep their emotions underconrole so they don't end up makeing any stupid mistakes. These are thousands of year old veterans from the previous revolution (the one where Huntaer became a Kirtir Empire) and know how to use their ships.

IC: The X-wing pilots were indeed surprised, but not shocked so they would scurry away. They kept their formation, still heading straight for the single ship that decloaked. They kept their fear in line, hoping they don't screw up the fight.

OOC:
Well, obviously they don't just keep a totaly straight path. They try to keep it as straight as possible, even when dodging lasers (remember, they have over 2 thousand years worth of experience). If they just walk into a line of fire, they would just be destroyed. Of course, if it was Huntaer we were talking about, they would just keep on sending in "Human Waves"(more like, "tie waves" in this case).

IC: Through expert skills, most of the pilots managed to dodge the lasers. Some of the more slower Y-wing pilots were taken out by stray shots.
The remaining group then cooly open fired at their enemy targets, some even fired their proton torpeatoes, which were guided through computer technology right onto their targets, takeing a few out.

Now the problem with the last part here, "which were guided through computer technology right onto their targets, takeing a few out.". You don't RP losses for me, I do, thank you. Please edit you post accordingly, or I'll just leave this thing.

And about your two thousand year experience, it's not like two thousand years is going to allow you to beat 100% computer controlled fire from a targeting program that itself has been refined over the years. Anyway, I hope this thing plays out well.)

[expertly dodging the flamewar] Wings of the Falcon, an Empire-class battleship, whilst slow, still managed to lock onto the uncloaked Kyanges vessel with its prow and dorsal weapons batteries. "In range, sir!" shouted the gunnery officer.

"Fire at will!" Said Mittel.

A multitude of missiles, lascannon blasts, plasma balls, pulse waves and sonic disruption warpholes were fired at the cloaked ship, with a firepower roughly the same of the wall of multiphasic energy blasts fired by the Kyanges.

(OOC: Ummm, why are you firing at me? I thought you were fighting to beat back the attackers (Huntarian Alliances) and help the defenders (Huntaer), who I'm also trying to help... Have I misread something? o_O ...)

Oops... I keep getting confused between Huntaer and Huntarian Alliance. OK, scrap that.

Wings of the Falcon emerged beside the Alliance fighters and started charging its starboard weapons.

"In range, sir!" shouted the gunnery officer.

"Fire at will!" Said Mittel.

A multitude of missiles, lascannon blasts, plasma balls, pulse waves and sonic disruption warpholes were fired at the small ships, with a firepower roughly the same of the wall of multiphasic energy blasts fired by the Kyanges.

Shelintiave moved her body outside the room, stealthfully. She saw two squads of Rebel troops marching by. Before they crossed her door, she pulled her head back. "My Lord, what should we do?"

"Seargent, I want you and your men to follow me to the command center in hopes we could send in another fleet to help squash this fight once and for all. I shall muster all I can at the Malkir traitors. Their blood shall stain the command center, marking the true might of the ancient Kirtir Empire.
We will kill all in our path. Leave none of these rebel scum alive. I will deal with the two Malkir who boarded us myself. Don't intervein unless I say so. All right, lets go."

The two squads of Storm Troopers and Marines left the medical room and into the hall way. Just up from the corridor, Shelintiave stopped, lifted her hand as a signal to the rest of her troops. She lowered it, and then raised it again, releasing a huge bolt of lightning at a HA squad which was patrolling the area. They screamed in agonizing pain, as their skin and bones were scorched. "PREPAIR TO MEET SKORM! FIRE!" Her yell caused fear in their enemies, still squirming on the ground.
At her command, the rest of her squad opened fired at the HA squad which fell to the ground in a bloody mess. "All right, expect more resistance men. I want your consentration on the current situation. Anyother thoughts are secondary."

OOC: Skorm is a god which they worship. Similar to how the IoM worships the emperor, or how the aztecs worshiped to their sun gods. Shouting their name as a battle cry.
