-Today at 9:00 PM, Pushkan government made an announcement about the development of a new kind of Thermonuclear bomb. A press conferenss was set up in Pushka's capitol, Voronej to clear all the controversy.-
Government's spokesperson: Yes it is true, we are on the verge of the new discovery, the research was already paid for, a prototype was made and the actual testing has already been made in a secret location. I was given a video to show to you, on it you will see Professor Sokolov telling you the basic idea behind this weapon. Please everyone, look at the screen.
-A plazma TV screen on the eastern wall, lite up. On it was a white bearded man in white clothes. Professor Sokolov began to speak-
Sokolov: To understand the concept of this wepaon you need to know what is a vaccum. A vaccum is absense of air, friction and so forth. A human being can not survivie in a vaccum. This new weapon works on that principle. I will not go into the detail on how we make this happen, for basic security reasons but i will tell you this. By using our new technics we are able to have a process called superfusion occur in the core of the thermonuclear weapon. A regular hydrogen bomb uses a process of fusion there a molecule of Plutonium combines with one other molecule of Plutonium, because of the chain reaction the affects are devastating, but they are nothing copared to what superfusion can do. In a process of superfusion each molecule of Plutonium now combines with all the other molecules of Plutonium, releasing 8 times as much energy as the regular fusion bomb.
Energy in a thermonuclear bomb is expressed in several ways, its radiation, heat, and so on. In a Vaccum bomb heat is the way in which most energy is output. The temperatures in the epicenter immediately after the explosion rise to 200 times those on the surface of the sun. Heat burns oxygen and air, expanding because of it, thus creating a vaccum.
The tests we made have given us the following results:
The explosion will burn anything in the area of 80 cubic miles of the epicenter, the heat of the explosion will suck up oxygen from an area of 500 cubic miles where nothing will survive as well. This is a true destroy of planets, i have no regrets of making it in service of my nation.
