Imperial Palace.

In the huge Palace of Malatose,now called the Peoples Palace of Justice and Lawmaking,there is a great commotion among the Senators.An emergency meeting out of blue had been ordered by the Supreme Minister of Justice Varistez.As the Senators spoke,an order for silence came and the meeting began.

Minister Valsrum slowly walks up to the podium and begins his speech.

Ladies and Gentlemen,I have served this great country of Malatose for over Twenty-Years.However,as I served,I noticed the vas amounts of corruption.Officials willing to take a bribe if it caused the life of a citizen or even his best friend.You might say. "Take your problem to the Poliburo." How could you do such a thing when they also are involved in such illegal activities?

"People of the Senate,Today has marked a new beginning in the nation of Malatose.As of 2 hours ago,I declared Martial Law.As of right now,The so called "Protectors" of the People are being arrested on the spot.The poliburo has been fully cleansed and the corrupt Mayors,Governers and Police Chiefs are being arrested.Not ONE stone shall be left unturned.

"However,That is not the only drastic step I am taking today.Senators,I am abolishing the Communist Party of Malatose.To simply put it,The Soviet Communist Republics of Malatose no longer exist.I am declaring The Continental Empire of Malatose with myself as Emperor.The people of this nation will enjoy new oppurtunities,less restrictions on their lives and more security.Today will be a new beginning,a new chapter for Malatose.

The Senate quickly arises to its feet in applause and cheers of the news.

The Macabee Empire applauds Malatose over this fateful transition from Communism to an Imperial Government. Although we neither condone or antagonize Communism we do feel that an Imperial administration is the way to go.

We hope that this change in policies brings our two friendly nations together much tighter than we already are.

good job in changing from Communism. but i would think that democracy should come soon once the leader dies of course. i for example am a imperialist democracy. for your transistion from communism i'm giving you $20 Billion upfront and then give you $10 billion each year for ten years.

This “transition” from communism to empire is certainly surprising, and worrisome. The ANL has long looked to Malatose as a friendly ally, both as a socialist nation and member of the Allied Socialist Defense Union. While the efforts to reduce corruption in the government are venerable and worthy, such measure seems to be extreme.

We only ask two things. First, is this what the people of Malatose wanted? And second, what is to become of the alliance our nations hold?

We will continue to monitor this situation with keen eyes.
