Okay, here's my bit. A lone man, affiliated vaguely with the Resi Corporation, will be selling our most powerful and secretive weapon ever to terrorist organizations. I've done something like this before, and as before his cover will be a cart selling pancakes.

People will sign up here to participate in the silent auction (they need actual characters to come in and place their bids), and I also need someone to sign up to be the nation I'm preforming this deal in. Bear in mind that we're not total idiots, and will most likely choose a nation where the security is very lax for this sort of transaction to occur. That doesn't mean the local authorities can't get suspicious, but it does mean that you can't have a police camera every three feet or have your streets patrolled by the army. Should the local authorities become alerted, auctioners should be prepared to do a bit more than auction.

So, who's interested? Tell me a bit about why I should consider you as a bidder or a nation.

I figure I should tell you about what we're selling, before you sign up to be bidders on it. Here's the canned description:

The "pancakes" are baseball-sized bombs with no metal parts, each with a remote detonator. These bombs contain a nanodisease the likes of which the world has never seen. The nanomachines within this disease spread rapidly through the air, and take the guise of lymph cells. They enter the body through contact with skin, food, water, or air and move through the subject's lymphic system to all ends of their bodies. Their objective is to replicate themselves by tearing apart nerve cells and using their components to build new nanomachines. This either leaves the subject braindead, actually dead, or in a best-case scenario in an unbreakable coma within two hours of infection. Upon achieving the desired result, the nanomachines self-destruct themselves into the base proteans they're made of, dissapearing without a trace into the blood stream. One tiny bomb can blanket a large city area (taking one to two days to kill all who haven't been evactuated), and they do not set off metal detectors. The newer versions are even covered with a synthetic grapefruit skin for further disguise.

It used to be a lot closer (we used to keep it in marbles and it only covered small areas), but that was too obvious.

So, are you interested in buying or being the nation we hold it in?

I'm interested in participating. I'm sure some of the local terrorists in my nation would love to get their hands on this. I'd offer to host the auction but my nations a police state, so that wouldn't really work.

OOC: It could. Technically it is post-modern tech (not to be confused with future), as it's just a couple steps up from the biomed nanomachines the United States is just starting to develop in real life.

OOC: This is an out-of-character thread, meaning that we just talk as people and not our nations/characters. I'm just using this to get the names of people who are interested in this so we can form an RP later.

Also, you're going to have to actually send a character to the auction, for liability's sake.

It might be a bit hard to sell it in my nation, how ever should be fun to try and buy the product.
