Intro..
Here it was, the product of years of confidential galactic searching and revolutionary trans-galactic slipgate tunneling, a previously undiscovered, habitable galaxy the Trailarii could claim as their own. It had been christened Kerbos after the Traileric capital city. It was a disk form galaxy, and on its last legs. A third of the size of, and much older than the Milky Way, it had been mostly eaten by the supermassive blackhole that had replaced what was once to core of this galaxy, the rings of starclusters that made up its mass slowly revolving around this bottomless gravitywell. Other races having journeyed before the era of Traileric expansion had passed it by because of this, believing it to be fruitless. But the Trailarii were very shrewd in matters of squeezing every last available resource out of an area, and hence, years of effort had been poured into a trans-galactic hyperjump drive fitted to a modified Juggernaught, known as the 'Harbinger'. This was the home of the brave crew destined to bring in a new age of enlightenment, discovery, and ultimately shake the very foundations of all the Trailarii knew about their origins, and their Gods..
Planet: Neo-Trailaris, Kerbos Galaxy
Quarter Admiral Dinur Kthda looked out of his window at the planet slowly rotating below him. A sigh of frustration escaped his lips. Thirty days of scouring the only planet that could possibly support life as we know it, and not a thing to send home. His scientists assured him they would most certainly would uncover something any day now. Fools hadn't even been to the surface themselves, had simply kept asking soil samples. By now they must have enough tonnage of samples taken from the planet to cause the mammoth vessel to lose altitude. His lids slowly drifted close and he leaned back in his chair to nap.
