The H71K Dual-Mode Vectored Thrust Rocket-Based Combined Cycle Engine
The H71K was desinged by Soviet Nationalised Associates (SNA) - a government controled group of corporations; most notably: The Suhkoi Corporation. The H71K is a revolutionary engine known as a dual-mode, rocket-based combine cycle engine. The engine combines the use of a turbofan engine, a ramjet, and a scramjet engine. Using start of the art technologoy, SNA was able to design an engine that can obtain speeds not imagineable ten years ago. The DM-RBCC engine once reache an altitude of 35,000 ft. can initiate a process in which the two engines are inject with high octane, extremely refined rocket fuel. This potent mixture is carried onboard in a small seperate tank than the normal fueal chamber. Once the pilot initiates this process, the potent mixture - labeled HORF - is injected into the combustion chamber of the H71K engines. This forces the Su-80 to achieve a massive leap in speed. This leap is needed in order to begin stage 3. Stage 3 is the scramjet portion of the flight. Once stage 2 is completed, the airflow into the intake of the engines is being forced in at supersonic speeds causing the aircraft to accelerate into hypersonic speeds. This - plus several confidential components of the new H71K engine - transforms the lowly fighter engines, into high-velocity supersonic combustion ramjets.

Now, control at between Mach 5 and Mach 10 is extremely difficult. Thus, the H71K have been made to accomidate vectored thrust. This allows the pilot to independently manuever the out-takes of the engines allowing for high velocity manuevers. The added wing structe also minimises drag and maximizes manueverability and thrust. However, the maximum speed of the Su-80 is generally, only used at altitudes above 87,000 ft.

Overview
The Su-80 and its varient have been designed to out-match, out-manuever, and out-run any in the world today. However, the SNA realise that everyday a new technology is born. But as of now, we are happy with the designs and performance of the Su-80. Its super-strong structure has allowed for speeds up to Mach 10 without buckling and tearing apart. This new speed boost has also made us contruct a much stronger G-Suit to take the pressure off of the pilot. Upon its testing, not a single pilot black-outed or red-outed.

The Su-80 in testing has hits its mark. It has proven itself in numerous extensive test from the arctic temperatures of Siberia, to the deserts of Oman. We would like to thank our Soviet scientists for helping the Motherland construct a machine of war capable of defending the rights of its people from the evil tyranny of imperialism and likewise threats.

(OOC: Okay... I know the image probably is all wrong and wouldn't withstand the speeds IRL. I also would like to point out that I am not an aurenautical engineer, thus a long-drawn out explanation why this wouldn't work is useless: I won't read it or probably understand it. This was designed with some understandiong of fluid dynamics and aerospace design. I would like constructive critizism. If you are just going to post how this is completely flawed and are not willing to help; don't bother posting. I thank those who have helped me.)

As of now, we are not selling the Su-80 except to close allies of The Moscow Pact. However, pending the creation of an export version, we may consider international sale. -- Representative From Soviet Nationalised Associates
