[Earth RB][ATTN: Sevaris] 'Operation Falwaze' Invasion of Andorra

The invasion of Andorra was an interesting part of Kurgen's overall plan. The Avadrian military presence would increase along the French border, particularly near what was dubbed the 'Paris Highway' which was the shortest distance between the French capital and Avadrian lines. That maneauver was to ensure that the French government would not take action against Avadria over the invasion. However Spain was the wildcard. Kurgen was not certain how the Spanish government would react to the invasion. However it would be assured that both Coprinces would not come to harm.

The invasion itself would be a rather simple, quickstrike maneauver, not unlike the initial attacks during the invasion. Five Sturmgruppe (500 Soldiers) from the IFK would be deployed in a nighttime assault on the small Principality.
Command suggested the success rate for the initial invasion would be 100% and the casualty rate would be next to zero. However by morning the numbers could reverse, all depending on Spain's response to the attack.

Either way the plan was underway and the soldiers were being loaded onto their aircraft. They were allowed to fly over France, per an under the table agreement that coinscided with the increased military pressure. The paratroopers would be on the ground at approximately 01:15 local time.

"Go! Go! Go!" Came the shouts from the aircraft as Avadrian soldiers lept out of their aircraft and descended towards the cities below. Two of the feldgruppe would be landing directly in Andorra La Vella while the others would be land in and near Les Escaldes. It was a risky move to land directly inside the cities, but there was little stopping them from doing so.

The sight of the soldiers drifting down to earth went generally unnoticed by the public at that hour, but several Andorran's took notice. Immediately they alerted the police who were quick to investigate the sightings. However by the time they arrived the police officers were greeted by the parachutes abandoned by the soldiers.

The soldiers in Andorra La Vella raced on foot towards the capital building. Their they would seize control of the building by any means necessary, while a smaller unit would move to 'secure' both the Spanish and French Princes.

---

At sunrise an Avadrian flag flew from atop the capital building. Each Prince was a captive their own home, bartering pieces for the time being. The end of the operation had seen a total of seven deaths however. Four of which due to complications during the drop and at landing (One soldier was unfortunate enough to land in the headlights of an oncoming truck) and three were killed by the Prince's personal guards.

The scene at the capital building was one of bittersweet victory. Champagne was passed around (even to the captives) to celebrate the victory, but everyone in the building knew that in mere hours their fortune could turn for the worse.

Tensions rose along with the sun as nervous soldiers began to contemplate their fate. No one was certain as to whether or not they were to be spared, or if death was coming soon. The hostages as well were becoming restless, some of the soldiers had even suggested letting them go. The idea was promptly dismissed as they may serve as bargaining chips if things took a turn for the worse. Most of the soldiers began to get the feeling that they were no better than bankrobbers, masked and holed up in a building, hostages at gunpoint, and an uncertain fate ahead of them. On one hand the prize was big, on the other the punishment was severe.
