British Empire Calls for Conference
Mavil Whetherly as usual took to the podium in Buckingham Palaces lavish press room. “Ladies and Gentleman, I have a press release from His Majesty King George.”
“In light with the disintegrating tensions between the British Empire, Credonia and the IADF, I have now have no option but to make one last attempt for peace. I call upon the leaders of every nation to attend a conference in London, in a last attempt to settle our differences and to establish, if at least, appropriate terms and treaties so that we may all occupy this world, without the eternal threat of warfare.
Let no one say, that it was the Empire that forced a war. Let not History judge us by our arrogance, but by our humility, I call everyone to the peace table, so that we may settle our differences in person and not by armies of war.”
“That is all Gentleman, the Palace will release a press briefing shortly.” Mavil stepped away from the Podium and left through the side door.
