The Robotstani Defense Force has come to the realization that, in order to fulfill national obligations to allied countries, many located at a great distance from the Robotic Archipelago, a number of power-projection tools are necessary, not the least of which are battleships.
While long resistant to using such large and expensive warships, with such little utility in Robotstani conditions, the RDF has finally accepted that, in order to assist allies and achieve foreign policy goals with regards to the soveriegnty (within the bounds of human rights) of allied nations, a battleship or two, plus a larger aircraft carrier and more escort vessels, would be very helpful.
Therefore, the National Assembly has approved the construction of "Two Battleships, one Medium Sized Aircraft Carrier, and up to Forty-five escort vessels, the budget for which shall be set at 250 billion dollars (translating to around 143 billion Triganic Pu's) annually for a period of ten years, to provide for the payment of debts incurred in procurement of appropriate materials and design personnel."
While inexperienced when it comes to designing military ships much larger than 2,000 tons displacement, Robotstani Naval Arsenal designers have already come up with some preliminary ideas.
But what is needed is foreign engineers, experienced in the field of building large military vessels, and equipped with an understanding of their strategic uses and service requirements.
Therefore, Robotstan asks the international community (or rather those nations who are on more agreeable terms with Robotstan) to please aid in the construction of the above-mentioned ships. Nations aiding in the construction would be handsomely compensated, and would be the first choice for weaponry and other systems.
