The silver plated walls of the palace shone in the first rays of the sun, the palace rose above the city of Nova Alexandria as a behemoth towering over an insect. Its battlements, defensive emplacements and air defence turrets loomed over the city, casting huge shadows over the skyscrapers below. TDF regular Karl Denksen stood guard in front of what was normally the monorail entrance to the palace, the six entrance ways where now blocked off by huge blastdoors. He clutched his SMG in his left and put his right to his ear, listening in closely to the sounds of the palace security.
…strange things going on here, unidentified intruder attempted to hack into the TDF battlegrid…
….motion sensors are going haywire, says theirs activity between the walls? Impossible….
…no I haven’t seen private Johnson, he hasn’t called in sick either…
…the armoury door is jammed shut? Well get a plasma torch, sergeant and cut it open…
“Strange things are going on here.” Karl said to himself, leaning against the ticket
sweepers that where placed alongside each entrance. A sound to his left caused him to snap to attention. “Private Denksen, what do you think your doing?!”
“Nothing captain Solaris ma’am!” Karl saluted the captain and let his eyes slide over her body for a second. Solaris put her finger under his chin and forced it up. “My face is up here private…”
”Yes, yes ma’am!” Karl tripped over his words.
“Good, now will you be alright here?”
Karl didn’t dare look down to the captain. “I will ma’am.” Karl immensely respected the mobile suit pilots of the TDF and it was hard to act like the drilled TDF regular that he was when they where close by, made him look like nothing in comparison. However as of late Solaris had been very kind to him and to be honest, it freaked him out.
“Very good, I’ll see you in the cantina after my patrol alright?” She turned and winked at him as she rounded the corner to the mobile suit hangar.
Karl was stunned. “How the hell…” He was confused and shook his head, attempting to clear whatever fantasies he had and concentrate on duty. Only five minutes before the next shift came and Karl counted out the seconds until he saw private Gonazales walk out of the turbo lift, wearing the standard crème coloured TDF uniform with a red barrette and a Vampire SMG. “Hey Karl, anything unusual?” The rookie asked, lighting a cigarette. “Nothin’ all clear…but where still under lockdown.” Said Karl taking the cigarette from Gonazales and taking a deep breath. “Well see you tonight I guess…”
“Sure thing.” Karl gave the cigarette back to Gonazales, waved a half-assed goodbye and stepped into the turbo lift a good twenty meters away from the monorail blastdoors. He pushed the barrack level button, inserted his key and pressed the “close door” button. As he looked up he saw Gonazales at his post, smoking his cigarette, behind him a man clad in black appeared and put a hand over his mouth while he slammed a knife into his back, a puddle of blood appeared beneath him as he body twitched, gasping for air.
Karl stood shocked for half a second before he levelled his Vampire SMG with the intruder and riddled his body with bullets, sending his body sailing against the blastdoors with a loud thump. Karl breathed heavily, a heavy click reverberated through the arrivals hall and the six blastdoors opened to reveal dozens more black clad assailants. The doors of the turbo lift slid shut, just in time to catch the hail of bullets and missiles directed at Karl as he shot up at several meters a second. He clasped his earpiece and contacted the control room. “TDF Palace Defence, this is private Denksen, the lower level monorail entrance has been breached! I repeat, the lower level monorail entrance has been breached by at least six dozen intruders. Gonazales is down…we’ll need atleast a platoon to stop them.”
The reply was not what he expected. “You must be mistaken private, we are reading an all-clear on all levels. Please do not attempt to cause trouble in this already tense time.”
“But sir, I saw Gonazales get killed, the enemy is inside, please do something!”
“I’m sorry private, as I said you must be mistaken…”
Karl’s earpiece clicked and the connection was cut, the doors slid open to reveal the barracks level. Littered with bodies of TDF soldiers, a scattered assailant laying dead between them, they where obviously killed in their sleep or when they where trying to reach the armoury blastdoor which by the amount of scarring seemed to have been blown out and crushed several men underneath its huge weight.
Karl stepped over the bodies as he made his way towards the other side of the barracks area where the stairs to the command centre where. A sound behind him caused him to turn around and level his Vampire, he squeezed the trigger and sent his first assailant flying.
From the corner of his eye came a flash of light, something that cut right through his Vampire, Karl reached for his longsword and cut to the right, his attack met with a drowned out gurgling sound and a few drops of blood spattering on his face. His foe fell backwards as Karl ripped his sword out of his stomach and twirled it in front of him to block the next attack coming from above.
A spin of the blade blocked the attack and sliced the face of the assailant in half, causing him to hang limp from the wire that he used to scale down.
Karl stood for several minutes, sword in hand, breathing heavily, shifting his eyes from left to right…
Nova Alexandria Airspace
Oblivious to the carnage going on inside the palace captain Solaris and her wing of Apocalypse mobile suits made a sharp turn over the defensive towers of the palace, they had made their patrols of the city and where now returning to the #34 bay.
Instead of a hailing call they got a target lock and where fired upon by the palace air defence towers, sending flak and laser beams against the armoured hides of the Apocalypses as they approached the palace where now a black flag with a white skull flew over the battlements.
“Palace air defence grid, friendly fire, friendly fire!” She shouted as the Apocalypse to her right bursted into flames. No reply came and more air defence turrets opened up, a video screen popped up on her HUD, a open transmission from one of the bunkers on top of the palace showed TDF troops doing battle with unknown assailants which where obviously controlling the air defence towers.
She doubted no longer, the Queen was right, General Zadrak would attempt to stage a coup when she was in Nova Alexandria.
“Wing, attack formation Zeta and take out the air defence towers!” The eight remaining mobile suits opened fire on the air defence towers with their auto cannons and emptied their Pit Viper missile pods completely, sending dozens of missiles into the heavily armoured towers. Explosions rocked the top of the palace, as it was systematically destroyed by the heavy firepower, a running battle was fought between the palace’s air defence grid and the mobile suits of captain Solaris’s squad, one they where losing badly…
The battle for Nova Alexandria was not the only one taking place at that point, the troops under General Zadrak’s command where attacking everything ranging from the Sydney Metro Zone to the heavily defended New Netherlands Metro Zone. But wherever they attacked; Royalist forces stood in their way, backed up by the elite fighting force known as the Order of the Aster, the queen’s personal army and bodyguard.
Above earth the Orbital Guard and the Grand Armada stood guard, positioning their ships over rebel positions and releasing dozens of orbital weaponry upon them. The rebels possessed no fleet whatsoever, all ships where accounted for and so the navy set forth the bombing of the rebels. However what had not been taken into account was the fact that Zadrak had been calling in some help and that became painfully clear when the emergency call came in from the Naval Reserve Depot on Mercury.
ORBITAL DEFENCES DESTROYED – HOSTILE FORCES HAVE MADE LANDFALL – ORBITAL RELAYS BEING SYSTEMATICLY DESTROYED – MERCURY PATROL FLEET SUSTAINED HEAVY DAMAGE – SUN SIDE PROBES REVEAL LARGE GROUP OF ENEMY SHIPS MOVING…
Mars and Venus reported much the same thing, their orbital defences and relays had been destroyed and the enemy had then left them alone. The Martian Aerospace Ranger corp could do nothing against the mighty battleships and cruisers of the enemy, shrugging off incoming fire like flies.
Ten minutes after the first transmission from Mercury as Fleet Admiral Winslow of the Grand Armada and Fleet Admiral Vulpes of the Long Patrol met on the heavily armoured Gierling Orbital Station for an emergency meeting the enemy struck at Luna and attempted to destroy the missile and railgun batteries constructed there by the Orbital Guard. As the Grand Armada burned hard for Luna cloaked vessels struck at earth and forced their way into earth’s orbit, pushing the beleaguered Orbital Guard back to Gierling Station as they rushed to deploy their mobile suits and Aerospace Squadrons.
An hour after the first call came in from Mercury drop-pods fell down to Nova Alexandria, scans revealed neither they or the ships contained any life forms but some kind of mechanical entity.
The impacts blew up huge dust clouds and TDF mobile suits reserves where deployed rapidly to counter the insurgents at their landing sites. The TDF was met by huge towering war machines, standing the height of a mobile suit and bristling with weaponry. The battle now raged outside Nova Alexandria too and the TDF was hard pressed to keep the perimeter secure as the battle went on inside the palace and the Palace Guard attempted to keep the Queen save.
A day after the first attack messages probes where sent out to all reaches of the solar system; beleaguered Mercury, Luna under siege, the Venusian and Martian colonies and the ice miners on Europa and Titan. It contained a war report and a final goodbye, recorded in the palace in Nova Alexandria.
REBELLION ON EARTH, ALIEN FLEET LAYS SIEGE TO LUNA.
Yesterday a bloody coup started in Nova Alexandria when elite forces of General Zadrak’s army attacked the palace in an attempt to capture Queen Talia. Only through valiant effort from palace security forces and mobile suit wings was the attempt foiled and General Zadrak’s forces pushed back.
At the same time Zadrak’s forces attacked every Metro Zone on earth, executing civilians and laying waste to entire hab-blocks throughout the night as TDF troops struggled to restore order.
The Order of the Aster and its sister Orders where called to active duty to today and immediately engaged rebel forces all over the globe, pushing back the rebels on every front;
the order of Our Martyred Lady attacked rebel forces over the plains of Syberia, bogging them down and preventing them from reaching into the Gobi dessert.
The Order of the Red Rose engaged in a frantic rear-guard action with rebel forces near the Denver Metro zone.
More disturbing is the fact that at exactly the same time as the coup in the palace alien warships entered our solar system and attacked the TDF Naval Reserve Depot there. No word has come in about their status since yesterday and the Long Patrol assumes the depot as lost.
Mars and Venus also reported that their orbital defence and relays where destroyed, their Aerospace squadrons unable to cause any damage to attacking ships. No forces have yet reported to have landed on either planet and the Long Patrol confirms that the attackers swept away from the colonies and directly towards Luna which is still under siege as the Grand Armada and the aliens do battle directly over the dark side of the moon.
Alien warships have also been reported in earth orbit, landing mechanical war forms near Nova Alexandria which where destroyed by TDF units but with the orbital battle raging between the Orbital Guard and alien forces no-one can be sure.
The TDF and Imperial Police advise all citizen to stay in doors and do not under any circumstances engage the aliens.
For any cut-off Orbital Guard, Grand Armada, Long Patrol, Terran Defence Force and the Free Martian Aerospace corps you are to rally at earth as soon as possible and aide the Orbital Guard, we need all the help that we can get.
Queen Talia has asked me to relay to you her goodbyes, for she fears that the siege of Nova Alexandria will break the back of TDF troops there soon, she hopes you all pray for her and the families on earth.
Fleet Admiral Vulpes.
Sixteen drones launched from Gierling Station, several where destroyed in the raging battle, some reached their destination and one was shot off course, shooting past Titan and into space, where it transmitted its powerful signal to override all FTL and sub-FTL frequencies, dipping deep into the Warp and producing a artificial gravitational pull so as to alert all vessels passing by, literally forcing its message upon any passers by.

Admiral Striker thought for a while.
'Have you pinpointed where this signal is from?'
'Yes sir. 48 hours Hyperspace jump for us.'
'Let's go Exploring... Just like this ship was designed for.'
With that the MCD Explorer entered hyperspace, towards the source of the transmission...

Titan, Docks of the Long Patrol
The screen flashed once, then twice until the probe came up on the screen of the operator. He tapped the console, attempting to free up the drone and direct it back to Titan. "Damned piece of shit." He muttered and chewed on the toothpick in the corner of his mouth. "Nothing works around here..."
The NTDF officer standing behind him leaned in. "Did it work?"
The operator sighed. "Not, it did not...but..."
The screen flashed once more, going completely white for a second and then returning to normal, showing a ship next to the drone, the two men stared at each other untill the operator reached for the comms.
Unidentified ship this is the Long Patrol, you have entered Ramerian space and are approaching a war-zone. Exercise extreme caution when entering Mercury, Luna and Earth orbit, unidentified raiders have been reported all over the solarsystem.

OOC: Tag, will possibly make Ic post tomorrie.
Firstly, however, some questions.
1. The raiders, are they another nation, or just your own creation?
2. How is this eventually mean to plan out, or rather, how much "outside" interference are you allowing?
It'd just help a lot if I knew these facts, because I only have a very small, but extremly powerful fleet, and I'm doing a balancing act to see Icly how many ships are in what place at what time.

The operator glanced at the officer. "Sir?" The officer nodded and took to the console.
This is Fleet Admiral Vulpes of the Long Patrol, I am assembling a fleet near Titan...you are invited to join, but it will not be another day before we burn for Luna....
The operator interrupted. "Sir, enemy taskforce incoming on the Mole vessle, counting atleast two dozen fighters and two frigates!"
Mole vessle, you have an enemy taskforce incoming. Hold your position we are diverting the Luna class carrier Raven to your position!
In orbit of Titan the massive Luna class carrier Raven banked to the left, its escorting mobile suits and fighters turned with it as the carrier engaged its drives and shot forward, the enemy would reach the Moles first the Raven would arrive half a minute later...

1) They are my own creations, much easier then getting someone else to play them, especialy since I haven't worked out my ships and weaponry yet to their fullest.
2) You can choose to side with either the rebels or the Royalists, but at this point the Royalists have the overhand and are the ones with the money to hire mercenaries. They are also what you could consider; the good guys.

'Thanks, are sensors have detected them.'
Fools Thought the admiral. Do they think a few fighters and 2 frigates can take us out!
'Begin offensive operations. Attack the lead frigate with all fire power. Get the missile boats on the second one. Have the Hyper fighters intercept the enemy fighters, with the turbo laser fighters supporting them.'
'Yes sir.'
The fighters were launched, the missile boats locked onto the enemy frigate,a nd ebtween the 6 they launched 60 proton tropedoes before being forced to avoid fire from the other frigate and enemy fighters
The Hyper fighters along with the turbo laser fighters engaged the enemy fighters.
'The frigate is within range!'
'FIRE!'
'Yes sir!'
The MCD and the Frigate exchanged fire, but it was obvious that the MCD had much more firepower...

The lead frigate speeded up and, as the torpedoes where closing made an impossible turn to avoid them, causing them hit each other or fall silent, no ship with a crew could do this and the frigate turned towareds the MCD intent to fire its weapons when the MCD shoveled it a raw piece of firepower into its mouth, causing the frigate to explode.
As the MCD turned on the next target the pieces of the first frigate came alive as boarding boats emerged between the wreckage and speeded at the MCD at full speed, the fighters ducked and weaved, more to distract the Mole fighters then to actualy destroy them as the second frigate opened up fire with its lasers and then with nano based weaponry designed to chew through armour.
At the same time the Raven appeared behind the raiders, its six main dual 400mm railgun turrets blasted away at the second frigate, ripping through its shield and detonating inside shattering its armour and crippeling the vessle. After the main salvo her Aerospace fighters moved in, supported by slower Mobile Suits they wiped the area of enemy presence, making sure to blow up every chunk and piece before returning to the carrier.
Admiral Striker, you are to transfer to Titan orbit at once, we cannot stay here, if we draw the enemies attention we will be in a world of trouble when one of their battleships shows up.

Mercury broken, Grand Armada defeated near Luna.
The video shows the last of the Grand Armada's mighty Emperor class battleships, burning in Luna orbit as the ships mighty railguns release a final volley of fire before being silenced forever by a hail of missiles.
Not an hour ago the Grand Armada was defeated in Luna orbit on the dark side of the moon, survivors are burning hard for Earth orbit to aid the besieged Orbital Guard.
Fleet Admiral Winslow of the Grand Armada is believed to have perished on her flagship the Stiletto and the command of the navy has been handed over to Fleet Admiral Vulpes of the Long Patrol. Alien warships have already been reported entering Earth orbit to deploy more war forms as the besieged Gierling Station and the Orbital Guards Aerospace squadrons fail to destroy them.
Nova Alexandria is under siege and the TDF has brought its last units inside the cities perimeter. TDF units have dug in and are preparing for a long battle as Queen Talia has personally taken up the defence of the city. Campaign projectors will see this siege go on for years.
More bad news arrived from Venus, a heavily battered Mercury Patrol Fleet arrived at Drachemstam orbital station with thousands of Mercury survivors today escorted by frigates of the Long Patrol fighting a desperate rear-guard action. As the attackers entered Venus orbit the Venusian Free Aerospace corps engaged them and with help from the Long Patrol and the Mercury Patrol fleet defeated them forcing them to fall back to Mercury. However reinforcements are inbound and Venus will be fortified as best as possible by the TDF and the Imperial Police.
Garbled reports from the NTDF and the Long Patrol on Titan indicate that an enemy taskforce was destroyed just out of the system by the Luna class carrier Raven, it is said that another, friendly alien vessel homed in on one of the message drones. We pray that whoever is listening out there will come to our aide.

The PSN Shadow Angel IV a super cruiser Hell class F model defolded in a brilliant flash of light. "Captain! Fold from Epsilon Erdian to Sol has been completed with all units accounted for," the tactical offer spoke up as he turned to Admiral first grade Angel Knightly. "Good. Raise the COM system and listen in on any broadcasts," she replied as she leaned back in her chair. "Ma'am! Picking up reports of a mass insurrection. Suggest we launch recon fighters for information collection. Suggesting the use of VBR-4's with an R class load out as well as one with an A class load out." "Do it."
Outside the massive 9.5km long beast her fighters began launching taking up escort positions around her. Though she was of the fabled Hell class being an F model resulted in her firepower being shrunken down to that of a normal cruiser. Though with this lack of firepower she made up with 1500 more fighters than normal. Though out of the tenth hanger a small squad of six VBR-4 Shadow Strikers roared out easily surpassing mach 5 and slowly increasing speed. Out of the six only one looked like a true VBR-4 should, fully armed with gautling pods replacing her missiles and twin "Hellblazer" tri-barrel 65mm smoothbore auto-cannons set in pre-spin mode. "This is Shadow Eye leader to Shadow Angel IV. Begining recon run and activating ECM fields. Talk to you in roughly four hours. Shadow Eye out."
As the fighters departed slowly hitting mach seven the ECM feilds came online hidding them from almost every sensor with the exception of gravametric sensors and the human eye. The jet black hulls of the beasts formed up and continued there mad dash towards Earth.

OCC:They arn't that stupid to go into combat zones without ship support. I doubt six fighters could realy take on a capital ship though I do know that that VBR-4 with the A load out can drop a corvet on it's own. But it might be interesting to suddenly pick up objects moving at almost 7000mph and gaining speed slowly. Though it would be interesting to have them run into a ship.

But of course. Although admittedly, I haven't followed it recently. Last update I checked on was when they released a buggy type scout vehicle for the infantry. But I digress. :)
My nation is partially Starsiege based, I've got Hercs and such mixed in with super capital ships, gigantic mobile fortresses, and other non SS stuff. Most of what I got from SS was the society though. But there I go again with my digressions.
IC:
Location: Aboard the ISV Adjudicator, currently in quasi-spatial limbo, en route to the Imperial Palace.
Star-General Marcus frowned. Delivering word of his 'failure' to his 'immortal' majesty was not something that he relished. Indeed, he would no doubt be chastised, probably prohibited from command for a century or two. But there was little he could do. He had failed to exterminate the Lupine menace, and the slave revolt he was to quell had been suppressed without him. Verily, it seemed as though the only thing he could do was go back to the palace and face the Emperor's harsh judgment.
"General! We're receiving a news feed. It seems as though a human government is facing a rebellion." Star-Captain Rand said. Unlike Marcus, he did not have to worry about punishment direct from the Emperor himself. That still didn't make him feel any better about his near defeat at the hands of the Feazanthian aliens though. He'd been overconfident then, but now that he realized the enormity of his failing, he was like a drunk sobering up.
"Yes? And? The failure of other human empires do not concern me." Marcus replied harshly, allowing his anger to taint his voice for a moment before his vast experience regained control.
"Star-General, they are under attack by hostile Xenos." Rand replied. In the transmission he received, he saw an opportunity to regain his pride and honor. Surely the General would see it too?
"I...I understand. Set a course for the origin of the message. Let us see what can be done." Marcus replied smiling at the gift that God had placed in his lap. Perhaps he could bring news of success to the Emperor after all?
******
The great cobalt tinted hull of the Adjudicator silently and wordlessly crept imperceptibly from its previous course. Quasi-space was an odd place, and the strange green hued universe seemed to follow no rules. Truthfully, someone could be lost in Quasi-space and appear at their destination hundreds or even thousands of years after they left. Of course, modern Imperial vessels mount devices to mitigate such a fate for it would not do to have a ship appear hundreds of years after a crucial battle.
Those devices hummed quietly as the ship made the transition to real-space, a gigantic, hellish green portal forming, if only for a time, to spit the Adjudicator into the cold, harsh, inky blackness of space.
"Going to active sensors." The multi-toned voice of the ship's primary AI unit announced moments after leaving quasi space. Truth be told, it could have run the ship alone were it not for its hardcoded and quite literal craving for human interaction.
"Excellent. Now, we sit back and wait for somebody to come and say hello. I want the Knights prepped for drop. The message sounded like things have gone to hell in a hand basket and I am not going to allow another group of humans to be eradicated. Keep the engines hot, and let me know if anything tries to make contact. If a Xeno rears its ugly head, purge it. I shall be in my chambers. Do NOT disturb me, Star-Captain, unless we make contact.” Marcus said, mixing his reply to the ship itself with an order to his subordinates. All in his typical no-nonsense style that lacked but a hint of the arrogance he had earlier when he arrived on the Adjudicator, taking control of the ship from Star-Captain Rand.
Marcus had to have some time to think. His innumerable experience was telling him that something here was more than meets the eye. Something seemed out of place, alone somehow. With his great dark cloak flowing about him like a skirt in a wind, Marcus moved like a man possessed, trying to probe his situation, straining to look at it from all the angles that his centuries of wisdom granted him. But no solution presented itself readily. There was the simple revolution, normally something he wouldn’t get involved in. But the fact that aliens were here attacking human settlements seemed too convenient. Far too convenient. Only time would reveal the answers he sought. But time may have been running out for the people in this system.
OOC: It's highly likely that somebody will detect my active sensor emissions and realize where they're coming from. In a way, I'm counting on that. :)

Long Patrol Docks, Titan
"Sir, my sensors are going crazy here, we have ships at the out-system beacon and several contacts burning on an Earth side vector!" The operators hands raced over the console, detecting several ships and indeed they where alien. Fleet Admiral Vulpes stood behind him, hands behind his back he rocked back on forth on his heels. "Dispatch the fleet...they will aide us."
The operator nodded, hands typing in commands to the fleet above Titan as he brought the moon's defences online.
"Prepare the fleet for a short jump to the beacon, oh and track those Earth-side vectors would you?" Vulpes said as he boarded a shuttle for this flagship the Solar.
Ten minutes later the might of the Long Patrol emerged at the beacon, four carriers, two battleships, half a dozen cruisers and numerable frigatte's and fighters.
Alien ships, this is Fleet Admiral Vulpes of the Long Patrol, you will indentify yourselfs at once. Failure to do so and we will assume you are hostile.
The call rang out to the CF ship, Vulpes wanted to speed this up, in under three minutes an enemy taskforce would arrive and they where slugging with them a bit more then the last one.
Meanwhile in the Long Patrol docks the operator pin-pointed the contacts, powerfull arrays based at Luna sweeped them several times, their designs being as alien as the enemy they where fighting.
Unindentified ships, you are aproaching a warzone, advise against entering Luna and Earth orbit. Enemy sensors have already picked you up, we'll keep them busy. One of the massive enemy battleships above Luna started to move out of orbit, its hull scarred from previous encounters with the Luna Defence Force's Aerospace guns. As it cleared the dark side of the moon a volley of 600mm railguns slugs ripped into its engine gondel and blew it apart. Other ships reacted, moving onto the concealed railgun battery as it attempted to fend them off.

Karl sheeted his sword, the blue metal in stark contrast with the red stains, he had stood silent for over a minute and no enemy had come. His earpiece clicked static at first but then a man’s voice came in, followed by the sound of gunshots.
…seventh platoon retreating to central core, first section take the maintenance tunnel….
…tunnel section A-6 is cut off, all platoons fall back to the central core…
…what the hell is that thing?! Die, damnit! DIE…

Karl knew what this meant, if all units where falling back on the central core then the outer perimeter was breached and he had to get to the command centre upstairs. His heart raced as he sprinted for the stairs at the end of the barracks level, he grabbed the black railing and shot up the steps.
What he saw at the top was not the most pleasant of things, the roof had partially caved in under the weight of an Apocalypse Mobile Suit and the command centre’s crew had been slaughtered like animals. “Yeez, what a mess…” Karl put his hand in front of his mouth to keep the stench out, he walked over to a console and typed in his access code.
++ Welcome Private Karl Denksen. ++
Karl checked the status of the automated defences; offline, figures he thought.
His hands raced over the console, bringing sentinel drones, minefields and automated turrets online. Camera’s popped back to life, showing Zadrak’s troops being cut to ribbons, gassed, mined, clobbered of just ripped to pieces by the palace automated security measures. “Invaders 1 – 2 defenders.”

The Raven sent a message back, relaying that the MCD was to hold its current position as the Long Patrol jumped in alongside several other, alien vessels of unknown origins.

OOC: Now, after teething problems with communciation with my characters in another thread, I've decided to include characters on the ship talking, or "communicating". I'd like to make it clear that they aren't actually talking, but communicating through a network that is linked to every Xenonian.
Also, this ship is 1/10 of my fleet. I used what Central Facehuggeria Terms the Kanuckistani model of shipbuilding, which means Quality matters, not numbers.
IC:
Xenonier was strecthed thin, thinner than normal. The Deployment of over half of the entire fleet to combat the Fezanathians had come off a minor strategic victory, causing some casualties for no loss. The end result was the same for Ka - immediate reassignment.
Grishnaki were everywhere, and a major force had besiged Jalon IV, attempting to massacre the feudal kingdoms there. Over 75 ships attacked, and the majority of Ka's own fleet, including his personal Heavy Cruiser, had been sent there to combat the pirates and teach them yet another lesson.
However, even as Ka had been placed in command of a Miak Destroyer, he had been chanced with another mission. A combat mission, but something a little more unusual, perhaps even involving ground to - ground combat, an interesting possibility.
Reports indicated another Human nation under attack by aliens, and rebels. It was one thing to attempt to bring down a corrupt and evil monarch, anoter to overthrow a seemingly reasonable government and institute a military dictatorship. Every Xenonian knew how those went.
The linked images being transmitted through the neuralink showed the outer defence lines of Zenii, the Major Xenonian naval base, and their primay shipyard. Moving out of the numerous defence turrets, orbital stations, picket ships and defence frigates, the Xenonian ship activated it's drives, tore a hole through spacetime, and was no longer there at all.
Now, it was time for command. Scans showed a CF vessel - no, the CF vessell Ka had encountered shortly before, in the battle against the Feazanthians. Considering the tremendous firepower of the vessell, Ka adjusted odds before issuing orders, and running over possible battleplans.
"Tactical officers, bring guns online. Scan for any hostile ships, send out messages we have arrived. I want a beacon here, in case we need to call for backup and escorts. "
Responces of confirmation rippled back through Ka's mind even as his system diagnostic showed his orders were being carried out. Batteries of heavy firepower were brought online, their sights calibrated to perfection. Meanwhile, Ka thought over what the messages the Xenonian probes had recieved indicated. The Alien attack was far too well sychronised with the rebellion, and meticulously planned to commander surprise and overwhelming firepower. In plain english, something devious was going on here.
Everything was ready. If any enemies were encountered, then they would be enticed away from blockades, and brought into the face of overwhelming firepower, as always. In the meantime, Ka would just have to see what these foes could offer up. Until sufficient data had been gathered, he was unable to do anything by think on his fleet, at his most vulnerable.

Even as the VBR-4's recived the message they continued as they roared closer to Luna and earth space before the group suddenly began to slow dropping speed rappidly via transforming into the hybrid mode and using the leg thrusters to slow down. The lead fighter quickly sent a signal towards the Shadow Angel.
Back on the Shadow Angel IV the com officer was rubbing his eyes when the blinking light of a incoming message from the squad leader came in. "Ma'am! We have a message from Shadow Eye. All clear to fold, though ships have spotted us so combat is a posablility." "I see.... prep a fold to send us about 100km away form the fighters."
Though it was a relative risk the Shadow Angel had little choice. Due to her massive size her thrusters were to slow and the use of a spacial fold was the quickest way to meet with the fighters. As the ship once more vanished in a sickly green flash only to "pop" up several hundred thousand kilometers away only 100km away form the fighters.
Onboard it was total chaos as pilots were being roused and the cryo-bay was being emptied of all combat personel. Eric lancer streched his stiff arms as he began to trudge out of the cryo-bay in his unique armor. Over the internal com system Angel began to fill him in. "So we are dealing with a mass inserection and are preparing to render assistance via fighter and marine usage.....I'll be heading to the ODP launchers alert me when things are good for a drop."
Back on the bridge Angel began to type on her command terminal preparing a message to the defenders against the onslaught of battle ships.
"This is the PSN Shadow Angel IV of the Shadow Realm of Phalanix. From our scans it is seeming that you are dealing with a mass inserection. If you wish we may supply you with ODP troopers and variable fighter support if required. As it stands we are ready to help when you need us."

*Beep, ping, beep* Marcus' personal datapad chirped suddenly, rousing him from his intellectual exertions and telling him of a call.
"General, this is Rand. We've received a transmission from the system authorities. They're asking us what our purpose here is."
Marcus frowned and ran his way back to the bridge of the Adjudicator, nary stopping for breath along the way.
Marcus carefully read over the message. It was concise and to the point, almost hostile. Certainly understandable, given the fact that these men had been attacked by hostile aliens during a civil war. "Open a channel to this 'Fleet Admiral Vulpes.'"
"Channel open sir." One of the Comtechs chimed in, something that was entirely redundant in an age of FTL computer processing and neural links, but retained for tradition's sake.
"Greetings Admiral Vulpes. I am Star-General Marcus of the Human Empire warship ISV Adjudicator. We received your news message while in FTL. We are here to assist you against the alien menace." Marcus said, his eyes pointed straight at the holocam that projected his image and voice across the cosmos, or through the system in this case.

Knight-Corporal John Cooke sighed as he cleaned and polished his armor. The suit and its attendant weapons were self cleaning, requiring no maintenance, but Cooke was one of the few Knights who still practiced the old ways, as his fathers and mothers stretching back through the misty haze of time had done in their time. Indeed, Cooke’s family had a long history of military service, going back millennia, although records from that time were suspect.
“Alright boys! Word from the top says that we’ve got to be ready for drop within the quarter ‘are. Looks like we’ll be doing search and destroy, but we can’t use the nukes. That’s right Cookie, empty out your shoulder rack. I’m not going to have my troops penalized because you didn’t want to minimize collateral.”
“Any info on where we’re dropping, Sarge?” One of the other Knights in the barracks asked, curious to get all the information he could before the drop.
“Nope. The General wants us ready to drop soon though. Any relevant info will be available with your suit minds. Any other questions? Good. On the bounce boys!”

Orbital Guard, Gierling Station
The station was buzzing with activity, aerospace and mobile suit pilots scrambling to their craft as the enemy launched another attack, the cause of it? An "allied" battlefleet jumping in at just one-hundred kilometres from Luna orbit triggered them as the aliens rushed to take out Gierling Station and the rest of its orbital batteries. The stations guns pounded the enemy, shooting down ship after ship as an emergency call went out to Titan and the fleet that just popped up near Luna.
This is the Orbital Guard, we can't take much more of this Long Patrol! We need assistance and we need it now! We're down to our last reserves and the enemies is closing in for boarding....life-support down...decks seven and eight breached...will go down fighting...

General Marcus, you will jump towards earth, force-entry into orbit and deploy your troops as soon as word from the TDF gets through from the Orbital Guard.
PSN Shadow Angel IV, you will assist the Long Patrol in keeping the enemy off General Marcus's troops as they land.

"Aff. We will be there momentarily." Marcus replied, his voice sounding distracted and somewhat distant, the hallmark of someone accessing Imperial command nets. Most people couldn't even begin to process the sheer volume of information flowing through the higher echelon nets, but verily, Marcus is not 'most people.'
Everything his sensors were telling him, along with detailed reports on every single piece of his ship flooded his mind as he calmly picked out the Adjudicator's displacer from the jumbled mass of subsystems and began plotting coordinates. A heartbeat later, although to Marcus it seemed an eternity, his ship simply disappeared from its previous locale near the edge of the system and reappeared near the planet that the Admiral had deemed 'Earth.'
Unlike what the media would suggest, a displacement is not full of flashing lights or beeping sounds. It is silent and dead like the night. One moment, there is nothing there. The next? A monstrous vessel like the Adjudicator is firing on its targets, deploying troops, and doing all the other things that a self-contained warship does when it comes to trying to retake a planet.
“Ahhh. Good. Star-Captain, begin scanning for enemy capital ships. Get the fighters prepped for launch and begin loading the deployment pods. Let’s make our presence here count for something.” Marcus’ voice sounded tired, exhausted even. In a normal situation, Rand would have had the ship AIs perform the necessary calculations, but for some strange reason, the General was doing it all himself.
“Two enemy vessels directly ahead General!"
******
Flight officer Kenzie leapt into his fighter’s padded control chair and began running the pre-flight checks while the fighter’s AI, Leela began powering everything up, readying the fighter for war with the kind of speed and unnatural grace that only a machine is capable of.

Cooke’s deployment pod was cramped, full to the brim with armor, computers, redundancies, as well as Cooke himself. The Imperial Knights certainly weren’t the vocation of claustrophobics.
All Cooke could do is wait for the inevitable order to drop, where he would speed into the atmosphere with dozens of his fellow soldiers, intending to open up a landing site for Hercs, Grav-tanks, and of course the mighty and ubiquitous Bolo land-fortresses.
It’s the time right before drop that a person looks inward towards themselves in the darkness of a deployment pod. Cooke certainly did a lot of introspective thinking when he was in the pod, preparing himself for the idea of his own possible death; looking back on his life and asking that single uniform question ‘was it worth it?’ To Cooke, it had been so far.

"sir were receiving reports that there is major fighting going on in Rameris, we also recieved a report that empress kimiko was going to enter it." an officer reprorted to General Turner
"really now, has she stated which side she is siding with?" the general asked the lt.
"no sir, we dont know much except that the Rameris government is badly outmatched, by rebels controlled by one of their generals." he answered
"A general of their own nation is attacking them. is there a good reason for it." Turner asked.
"doesnt seem like it sir from intelligence reports the government has a very good millitary but it doesnt seem like they use it to opress the people." the lt. said.
"so the general is just power hungry. a traitor. still if he wins we could possibly gain support for future wars and he wouldnt question our methods of course we would still get support from the current government, and they might be more willing to share technology." the general pondered the question for a few moments, while the lt. looked on. "alright send a message to the Rameris government that the helgahn third army is on the way. up lift our armies the opressors wont be opressing us anytime soon anyway. send a message to Scolar Visari that were moving out, to suppor the Rameris government."

"General on deck!" Col Rash yelled. everyone stood at attention and saluted.
"at ease." the general said and everyone one went to the rest postion. "youll be happy to know were going into a new warzone people. some country named Rameris or something like that. were going to support them. apparently some general went power hungry and is now using his loyal forces to throw a millitary coup against the government. were sending the entire 3rd army that means were sending 500 million helgahn in to support the regualr forces." he paused to let eveyrone catch up. he was glad to see know one was behind. "but you and about 25 other special forces squads will be sent in first, your going to ascertain from freindly forces what the prime targets to hit are. then you will send a message back to the fleet who will already be a days worth of flight time out, telling us where those targets are. once the fleet enters Rameris space you will move out and locate the postion of the general responsible, and you will do so while co-ordinating your efforts with the other SF teams. its a simple plan but make no mistake gentleman, and women" Dalton nodded to the 2 females in the outfit. "the troops you will be fighting are regualrs, and they have had combat expeirence."
"they may have had some expeirence sir but nothing like us huah." Rash said
"Huah!" everyone answered in unison and smiled.
"huah rash. i know i dont have to ask this but i will anyways. if any of you do not want to partake in this mission you can step out now, w/ out fear." the general said. nobody moved a muscle. "alright then get on your dropship and get moving, all the provisions your gonna need are on board, food, medicine, ammunition, clothing, we even gave a you a laser designator for when the fleet arrives. and i personally made sure you got plenty of toilet paper, and not that crap that is enviormentally freindly." the general joked, everyone laughed since they knew they wouldnt find any toilet paper in their bags. "good luck to all of you." the general said and shook everyones hand.
"and by the way we got a new recruit for your team Rash." the general told him and snapped his fingers, door 3 the door that the general came through opened and revealed a 10 foot humanoid walk through the door. with gear in hand. it was huge it was ten feet tall and weighed at least 200 lbs of what looked like pure muscle. he had scale armor on that looked heavy as hell but it walked like nothing was restricting it all. it had a helmet that covered its entire face. and it looked like its hands and feet were claws. in one hand it carried its pack. and the other carried a heavy MG. instantly every member of the squad leveled their weapons at its head "relax people hes on our side."
the general said.
"sir is that what I think it is." Rash asked they had encountered this thing before it had killed nearly everyone on his mission except for his squad.
"yes it is. its a predator. thanks to your squad bringing those three bodies back we were able to grow a few of our own and train them as helgahn soldiers." the general explained
"yes sir. so your sure hes not going to try anything?" the col. asked uneasily.
"positive now you and your men and women get on that dropship and do me proud." the general answered
"Yes sir!" everyone in the squad answered including the predator.

moments later 25 dropships could be seen leaving the ship Foremost. then once their magnetic propulsion systems were fully charged they were gone.

One signal, one mental command, one reaction and the entire Long Patrol fleet emerged near Earth orbit, weapons blazing as soon as target locks where made and the sensors allowed some sort of trajectory calculations.
Long Patrol, target enemy capital ships and engage at will! Carrier Moscow, you are to divert to Gierling Orbital Station and deploy Mobile Suits and Aerospace squadrons to cover your boarding parties.
The first ripple of fire came from the cruiser Cauldron who's four 250mm railguns with combined fire from the Adjudicator destroyed an enemy carrier. No sooner had the explosion registered on the sensors as enemy vessels started to effect friendly fire, inhibit strange formation patrons and burning on out-system vectors.
Vulpes's switched channels with a thought, to include the entire fleet.
Allied fleet, advise taking out enemy capital ships and troop carriers as they seem to hold some sort of control and command function among their lesser brethren.
As his message ended the enemies tactics changed again, showing organisation and coordination once more. Before he turned his attention back to commanding his flagship he directed the battleship Rose to stand over the Adjudicator in orbit, the craft micro-jumped at the order to protect its charge. Even though the Rose was one of the heaviest battleships produced by the Navy it was dwarfed by the Adjudicator but did its job none the less with its massive railgun turrets.
The enemy now responded in force, sending out fighters and its capital ships against the enemy. Tacticians would have noted that their force was made up of carriers, fighters and a few dozen frigates, noting the lack of proper escorts as if they had prepared to find the planet undefended and roll right onto its surface.
Dozens of boarding boats full of mechanical warforms sped towards allied vessles, intent on capturing ships and eradicating the crew, the second before they released their volley of fire, mainly nano-based weaponry complimented with lasers they send a message to the allies of the Ramerian loyalists.
-=-Foolish humans/meatbags you cannot hope/desire to survive onslaught/massacre that the collective/hive has brought/set upon you.-=-
-=-Why not surrender/admit defeat now and allow/give your allies/friends a clean/silent demise/death?-=-
The Lunar taskforce found considerable less resistance, the carrier Raven cleanly blasted the two system defence frigates left in orbit and awaited the aid of admiral Stryker before it went it an engaged the two damaged carriers left in orbit.
Earth, Denver Metro Zone, Headquarters of the Order Red Rose
Sister Superior Tanth dropped herself down onto the tiles of the promenade overlooking the grand plaza, her canton had held this position for over twenty standard hours now and they’d been cut off. Her command staff occupied a makeshift bunker made out of several large floor plates where they’d set up a transmitter where they received the latest news from the TDF outside the perimeter trying to relieve them.
“Red Rose, Red Rose, this is the TDF, we have an earth-orbit link ready for you, care to make a call?” Sister Tanth grabbed the vox from its cradle, asking for coordinates from one of her staff. “As a matter of fact, yes, patch me through.” In the background an explosion could be heard as reports came in that the enemy was now launching a decisive attack over the plaza with all its assets, ranging from mobile suits to “HERC” warforms and infantry.

OoC: Ok, since there’s no actual enemy involved, I am giving everyone the free hand in taking losses, declaring them and deciding on what to wear tonight ;)
Enemy forces at Earth contain at least 40 carriers, mainly used to deploy warforms and are not really good at fighting unless they can deploy their boarding parties in which case your fucked beyond belief. I have said that enemy boarding parties where underway so feel free to decide whether your ship was breached or not.
Six battleships, just huge lumbering things that sit in position and blow the hell out of everything with huge lasers and EMP weaponry, these where used to whiter down the defence shield of Gierling Station, providing a constant stream of firepower now being turned to the allied fleet.
Thousands of suicidal fighter craft, fast, quick and packing a punch when deployed in really large groups plus a few stray frigates that might have taken the wrong turn at Venus.
Shoot at will ladies and gentlmen.

The Shadow Angel was surounded by constant blossoms of fire as the 50mm point defense auto-cannon's blasted away at anything that wasn't given a friendly status while fighters engaged in brutal dogfights slaughtering anything that even thought about turning to the Shadow Angel untill the capital ship fire began to be aimed at the massive carrier/super cruiser.
Hull plating was torn or melted while the main guns of the Shadow Angel continued to fire with absolutly no mercy targeting enemy battleship guns and any important locations. Slowly as she lumbered forth through the hellstorm of combat she reached the area for ODP deployment unto Nova Alexandria's outer area.
In the Drop bay the shrill of the alerts and the computer's voice to enter the pods hadn't gone unnoticed. As the last pod finaly sealed the lower section of the ship began to rain down three vollys of ten oribtal drop pods fallowed closely by ten VBR-4's roaring past the pods and into the atmosphere.
As the pods finished launching the Shadow Angel turned its attention to the closest battle ship firing off everything from it's nuclear arsonel to it's single Fallen Angel cannon.
"Ok people we're going in hot so be ready for anything. This isn't going to be a walk in the park. I sujest you stay in your fighter modes untill the last second before we hit the ODP LZ," Even as the flight leader finished saying this the fighter's broke through the atmosphere and began to head towards the location the ODP's were destin for firing off missiles and using auto-cannons to pick off enemy forces in the way.

"This is General Marcus. I read you. Deploying troops to assist. Hang tight, support is on the way."
Marcus turned towards the drop coordinator and nodded. Wordlessly, dozens of high velocity deployment pods streaked from the Adjudicator's launchers straight into the atmosphere, their forms obscured by the intense heat from the friction of the air. Most contained battle armored infantry, but two swords of four heavy Hercs apiece also made their arrival with the first drop, a late addition to assist the beleaguered royalist forces defending the Denver Metrozone.
******
Meanwhile, the Adjudicator turned its weapons upon a nearby enemy carrier, immolating it with a thousand gun barrage of PPB and neutron microburster beams, ripping through shields and armor like so much tissue paper.
"General, A cloud of small craft are incoming. Looks like boarding pods sir!" One of the sensor operators called out, distracting Marcus' careful planning for a moment.
"Understood. I want those fighters in the air immediately. Order the point defenses to open up on the pods. I don't want any to get through. I can't deal with a boarding scenario as well as a ground war." He replied, working these latest variables into his tactical plans. It was fast becoming too complicated for even him and his timeless brain and vast experience to manage.
Thousands of point defense guns opened fire upon the fast approaching pods as fighters streamed from the bays, intent on keeping the enemy from their base.

Kenzie's fighter rumbled for a moment, and then launched out of the bay with great fury and power, streaking out into the night sky like an angry seraphim; ready to mete out death to all who opposed the might of humanity.
"Alpha wing, form up on me. Beta wing, keep those pods away from the starboard side. Gamma wing, I want you to cover the corvettes while they launch. We need their firepower." Kenzie said, taking control of his squadrons and ordering them to where they were needed most.
Suddenly, a low hum resounded through his helmet. It was accompanied by a flashing red diamond; he had a lock. Kenzie calmly fingered the trigger to his twin repeating microbursters, sending an angry hail of stabbing blue-green beams towards the nearest pod. He his sensors confirmed a kill; he didn't wait for the explosion a moment later to be sure. He was already tracking another enemy pod, burning it from the stars with a combination of railgun slugs and light plasma beams.
But for each pod he blasted, two more seemed to take its place. "Where are my corvettes?" Kenzie asked, his voice desperately probing Gamma wing. Those corvettes were specifically designed for this kind of assignment.
"We're doing the best we can, sir! There's just too many of them!" Gamma lead replied back, his voice taken with the lusts of war.
Kenzie launched a pair of missiles towards another pod. They impacted spectacularly and destroyed it, the pod's remains careening into space and crashing into another.
But even the Imperial pilots' monumental skill couldn't hold back the tide of boarding pods. Some slipped through to land on the Adjudicator's hull, mostly on the lesser armored orifices such as docked escape pods.
******
"Intruder Alert, repeat: Intruder Alert!" The ship's voice was shrill and annoying, specifically edited to get everyone's attention. After all, a boarding situation couldn't be a good thing.
"Oh damn." Marcus sighed. When it rains, it obviously pours.
Fortunately, Imperial vessels had countermeasures against invasion ranging from auto guns to special 'kill zones' to crushing ceilings and remote bombs. In addition to the ship's compliment of Imperial Knights and made to order protohuman clones.
******
Knight-Sargent Matro tensed, his suit's sensors read enemy units directly ahead, a verdict conforming to what the ship's onboard sensors were saying.
He tapped his helmet and pointed towards the bulkhead, the other three Knights nodded silently and took up positions. While he could have likely achieved the same effect from simply setting a nav point via the Imperial Battlenet, there was no telling if the enemy could pick tap into the 'net, and while entanglement systems like the Battlenet were *theoretically* unjammable, Matro was a ardent believer in Murphy's law. 'If you have secure communications, someone is listening in.'

Cooke's pod screamed through the atmosphere, slamming right into a group of very disoriented enemy warforms, mostly infantry led by a single light mecha unit.
It was a tossup on who was more surprised, the enemy or Cooke, but whomever was, it was Cooke's ramped up reactions that moved first. Working quickly, Cooke sent out a stream of tiny shards from his powerguns, each individual shard going so fast as to appear as lighting. Each one capable of punching through medium tank armor. Enemy//toaster warforms simply crumpled when hit with the shards. Unfortunately, the powerguns could only hit so many targets at once. The remaining enemy infantry opened fire, draining Cooke's shields slowly, but surely. They weren't *too* much of a threat, but that mecha was. It's weapons were starting to track him, and only a quick bounce from his thrusters carried him out of the way of its blast. A blast that would have most likely gutted him, just as his powerguns had gutted the enemy infantry.
"Vargus, tag the mecha with an anti-vehicle missile while I deal with these infantry" Cooke thought, telling his suit's AI what it must do in between heartbeats.
Another heartbeat passed, and two heavy anti-vehicle missiles streamed out from Cooke's shoulder launcher. Normally, they would have been equipped with clean nuclear payloads, but today they were just run of the mill missiles meant to tear through armored vehicles easily.
The missiles slammed into the mecha, one on its leg and another right below the shoulder. The leg hit did more damage, causing the mecha to list to the right, shudder for a moment, and then fall over.
The remaining enemy infantry were dispatched through a quick blast of Cooke's D-Rifle or the quad mounted powerguns employed previously.
"Knight-Corporal Cooke to base. Enemy targets in my mission zone have been eliminated. You can call down the big boys."
"Aff. Bolo unit of the line GNT is inbound. ETA, two point five minutes. Hang tight."

Knight-Lieutenant Jensen frowned in the seat of his Reaper class assault Herc as it plummeted into the atmosphere, the pod spewing debris and other such decoy material as it fell from the heavens. Direct drops were hardly the easiest things in the world to do. Deployments like that were something better suited to the Infantry, not the Herc corps. But still, he had a job to do and he intended to do it. His swords had to relieve the pressure on the royalists in the Detroit Metrozone.
"Gladius squad, you'll hit the enemy on the right flank. Tulwar squad, we'll go split up. Tulwars 2 and 3, you will circle around and hit them from the left flank. Tulwar 4, you are with me. We're heading right up through the center." He said as soon as his herc touched the ground.
Within moments, the armored doors of the super sized pod fell down and the twenty five foot tall Reaper strode out, shields and weapons at the ready.
OOC: I'd like to know more about the enemy I'm facing here. Average Glitches? Giant miniature space hamsters? Something else entirely? It'll help me assess damage more effectively.

OoC: Basically, everything the brids had you can find here. Although the HERC's are few in number and a bit deadlier, but its mostly infantry supported by light HERC's and rebel forces dug into strategic positions.
Glitch infantry would be heavy battlesuits armed with nano-based weaponry advancing behind a swarm of light infantry units armed with blasters.
Glitch boarding parties are, very, very nasty as they use nano-based weaponry to literally chew an enemy apart in a matter of seconds. They use heavy battlesuits and more mobile "spider" assault units that invade the ship's maintenance tunnels and basically start cutting at a vital system or drop into a civic zone to cause as much death and decay as possible.
Rebel infantry, would be highly trained armoured infantry capable of duking it out with just about everything you guys have as an infantry assault platform. They use good tactics and have access to some of the best weapons in the TDF, however unlike the TDF they do not have support of the Mobile Suits or the Orders as no Order unit rebelled and only a handful MS's converted to rebel cause.
Anything else you want to know?

Earth Orbit
Fleet Admiral Vulpes cramped his hands over the railings of the command deck as the Solar shook with another impact, the Emperor class battleship was taking a steady pounding, hull-armour being melted off as the shield buckled and groaned to restore itself. "Contact the Revenant and tell them to deploy an Aerospace squadron to defend us! Helm new course heading at 340.056 and do not stop firing." The crew nodded, set to work processing the orders with lightning speed through their neural implants. The Long Patrol's cruisers formed into a spear-formation with the Solar in the middle, ploughing through the enemy line of carriers and blasting away with all its might. One enemy carrier went up in flames, burning in orbit as another attempted to get away and was destroyed by a volley of cruise missiles and railgun slugs.
The enemy line was buckling but the Long Patrol already lost one carrier to enemy fire, its other ships entangled in a fiery dance with the enemy.
Denver Metro Zone
The low hum increased to a howl as the air-raid sirens came to life, carrying their message on the wind. However, it was not the Royalists lines where these sirens roared, no it was the rebel line that was now under attack from orbital drop pods and the loyalists saw their chance, attacking with all their might.
The first wave upon the rebels was near the Grand Plaza where CF infantry attacked the enemy's rear as units of the Red Rose bogged down the enemy's advance. Sister Superior Tanth waited patiently as the enemy's HERC's turned to face the new threat. "Mobile Suits, jump in!" Fire from loyalist lines suddenly slackened as nine blood-red Apocalypse Mobile Suits jumped into the centre of the plaza, the lead MS ripping a Bolo tank apart and showering another in a deadly hail of fire from its Vulcan Autocannons.
Sister Superior Tanth sent a message to the CF infantry across the square:
Sit back and enjoy the show.
Nova Alexandria
Among the fires raging in the out parts of Nova Alexandria advanced a TDF squad, at the head Colonel Steel of the TDF hushed her men forward, securing sections as they finally approached the Phalanixian troops.
"I am Colonel Steel of the Terran Defence Force, who is your CO?"
Gunfire erupted behind her as a TDF trooper off-lined an enemy warform.
"As I said, who is your CO?"

OOC: Interesting. Alright then, this should be good. Boarding parties will certainly being interesting, as Xenonians are harder on the ground then anyone else. They use heavy battlesuits that function more like Heavy tanks, although they don't possess Heavy tanks in an offensive manner in this type of situation.
Ship to ship combat will be interesting too, and it's in time like these I'm glad I go for quality over quantity. If the enemy is primarily light infantry on the ground, that sholud'nt be too bad a problem. Boarding situations will be awesome, however.
IC:
Ka gave out immediate orders. The origination of the transmission warning them off the situation was being attacked, and fading in energy quickly. This was a warzone, a seemingly illegal warzone.
All the better.
The Xenonian vessell was wrapped in its transport field, seconds later appearing as close as it colud in relation to the defending fleet. Targeting the alien vessells, a full spread of Quantum Torpedos and Cannon barrage was let loose. Ka watched in quiet approval as two enemy ships, probably cruisers were torn apart from the heavy barrage, unsuspecting of the assault. Ka watched the next lock on, as it targetd another, without the benefit of surprise this time.
The vessells would surely fire boarding pods, as witnessed against the Facehuggerian Vesell. Ordering all PDS systems to maxmium range and warning, Ka let his officers command his fighter and gunships escorts out, readying themselves to annihliate incoming boarding parties.
Meanwhile, Ka drew out his scythe, and wandered from the bridge, to the central command station. This station was the hub of defence, to area where boarding parties were identified and picked off by ship defenses. Sentry guns, entrapment fields and Xenonian Infantry were already on standby, the heavy battlesuits ready to engage all comers.
Reports came flooding in, indicating the ship had some 300-500 Suit capable soldiers on standby. When the boarding parties came, their captain would lead the counter-charge himself. Ka could command the ship from anywhere, and had a brace of expierienced officers ready to take over should he be killed.
However, he lacked sufficient data thus far. Things were still risky.

Matro tensed as he punched the button to open the bulkhead, and came face to face with an enemy boarder. It was hideous, like a deformed; humanoid bug with spikes and menacing weaponry galore.
"Suck on this, roach!" He yelled as he unsheathed his gauntlet mounted voidblades and sliced savagely at the robotic warrior. Unfortunately, he wasn't fast enough. The glitch managed to release a cloud of something onto his suit before it went down. That 'something' happened to be a cloud of killer nanites which happily began consuming the outer layers of his armor faster than a starving man and a hamburger.
"Oh shit!" He screamed as his armor integrity dropped. Just then, a cool voice replied in his head, it was his suit's AI.
"Nanological contaminant detected. Initiating level three countermeasures."
Nanite weapons were so uncommon on the battlefield that the rank and file troops were rarely told of the countermeasures inherent in their weaponry, but nanite attack had been quietly compensated for ever since the disastrous replication incident where Shivan nanites consumed a planet full of allied troops.
Level three countermeasures consisted of two things, running a low level EMP field throughout the armor's systems, and releasing counter nanites to negate the threat.
Matro smiled as his armor sealed up and began repairing the damage. Total repair would have to wait until the battle was over, but at least he was still in the fight.
"I'm reworking the MITAMS software. With luck, I should be able to use our suit's anti-missile countermeasures to eliminate at least some of these killer nanites."
Matro ran forward again, blasting an enemy infantry warform with a blast from his powerguns, nimbly dodging a nanite projectile the other warform fired at him.
Pivoting quickly, he leapt to the side, narrowly avoiding another nanite projectile, and brought his voidblades down onto the machine's head, neatly cleaving the thing in two.

Kenzie became so engrossed in destroying boarding pods that he didn't notice an enemy fighter sneak up behind him and begin blasting away, draining away his shields at an all too uncomfortable clip.
His shields flickered for a moment, and then went out. His armor was now exposed to the enemy fire. No matter what Kenzie did, he couldn't seem to shake the enemy fighter on his tail.
Until said fighter suddenly exploded that is. "Sorry we're late, sir. The docking clamps were jammed. Corvettes A-J launched and ready."
Kenzie breathed a sigh of relief. Now he actually had a chance to push back the enemy. "Form a perimeter around the mother ship. I don't want a single pod getting through."

Skillfully maneuvering his Reaper around the burned out buildings of the Metrozone, Jensen went to active sensors and began searching out a target.
He found one. It was big, larger this his own Herc and it looked like something from a nightmare. Thin and wiry like a specter, with sharp and pointy bits sticking out at the joints. Its head and 'face' seemed to be turned upward in a curious grin, like a shark about to devour its hapless prey. Its hide was mottled, with a near purple sheen that somehow oozed malevolence.
"Jesus!" Jensen exclaimed. He'd never seen such a weapon. It seemed designed to frighten him. He couldn't even imagine facing something like that outside the armored security of his Herc.
Jensen regained control of himself in record time and targeted the thing with a barrage of shield-busting microburster blasts and followed up by a flurry of searing plasma beams. The monster's shields flickered for a moment, weathering the storm, but then they went out, leaving its armor to take the brunt of the damage. The plasma beams rended its armor, burning it off in waves of super heated gas. The demolished hulk wobbled for a moment before falling down to the ground, its reactor smashed and ‘pilot’ offlined.

As the rest of the Shadow Strikers mopped up the remaining enemy forces around the LZ Eric stepped forth and spoke, "That would be me. General Eric Lancer of the Phalanix 1st Orbital Drop Troopers." Eric was easily taller than most of the men and wore the armour to make sure his comand was fallowed. "Give me the situation here quickly before we end up getting our asses blown half-way down the block."
In orbit the VBR-4's were slowly being overwhelmed as the damage and death rates slowly began to catch with the kill rate. "Shit! We lost five more fighters. That leaves us with roughly 1490 left in the air and 250 destroyed as well as 750 to badly damaged to continue to fight."

OoC: Your ships are with the Raven at Luna, mission is to take out two damaged carriers and bombard glitch ground forces battling it out with the Luna Defence Force.
IC:
Aboard the Solar the boarding alarm wailed, indicating that decks two and four had been breached by enemy boarding pods.
"All hands set to repel boarders." Crew ran to their boarding stations, knights of the Order of the Void suited up as they prepared to destroy the incoming glitches, most being survivors from the Grand Armada's battle at Luna and knowing how to deal with invaders.
Ashley Manore, Knight Captain grabbed her blaster rifle and checked the vibroblades on her forearms as she and her squad huddled around the security door leading to deck four.
Squad, ready your weapons, their going to come up through here.
Her squad, a mix of males and females acknowledged her orders via the TDF battlenet. They all steadied their aim as the first bang on the door came, followed closely by a second one.
Jonathan, EMP ready!
As the first hole was punched through the door the squad’s grenadier lobbed a triple EMP grenade canister through the hole, the following explosion slightly scrambled the squad’s visors and TDF battlenet linkups.
Squad, according to battlenet, we have a boarding party approaching from the left, Vulpes wants them taken out.
The group moved away from the door, taking up position at the end of the corridor as the Knight Captain activated the corridors defence lasers and automated turrets. The turrets clicked once, not revealing themselves from their hiding positions on the ceiling and the walls as the defence lasers blinked once, showing the entire hall had been honeycombed with power cutting lasers.
The squad took up aim as the chatter of metal on metal became clear in the distance.
Here they come…
Two spider droids fell down on the squad’s last position, obvious hoping to find themselves in the middle of the unsuspecting group, however their faith was sealed with a salvo of laser fire from the Knights.
Heavier clanking could now be heard in the distance, footsteps and scraping noises at the end of the corridor, the squad steadied themselves as the heavy assault units closed in.
Halfway through the corridor the enemy opened fire, sending nanite slugs into the Knight’s position, who, gave return fire.
Spider droids raced across the ceiling as heavy, insect like assault suits slowly advanced on the defensive position. The squad picked off the spider droids as Marc brought his railgun to bear on one of the heavies, ripping him apart with a single slug.
As the enemy closed in Ashley sprung the trap, turrets popped down from the ceiling as the cutting lasers came to life, cutting apart the glitches.
Five seconds later more then a hundred warforms lay off-lined in the corridor, a massacre caused by a single ten-man squad…
Nova Alexandria
“First general, welcome to Nova Alexandria on behalf of queen Talia of the kingdom of Ramerias, I apologise for the mess we made here though.”
Steel smiled to Lancer and motioned to the palace.
“The situation is reasonably secure, we had a few glitches in the sewers but our assault droids cleared them out and the city’s defence shield is holding. They can only bring in units if they pass them through the shield at ground level and our Mobile Suits have the edges of the shield cleaned out and most civilians have been evacuated to the palace.”
One of her troopers tapped her on the back. “General we MUST move NOW.”
She nodded. “Understood, is sparrow ready?”
“Yes general.”
“Call it in have and our Phalanixian friends board too.”
The call rang out on the TDF’s battlenet as it was picked up by the Sparrow pilot, the assault ship set down in the plaza a street away from the meeting, its turrets swayed left and right as its access ramps dropped down.
The Sparrow was actually an orbital drop ship converted by the TDF for transport duties within the north African continent and it did its job quite well.
“Colonel Steel, General Lancer? Your ride to the palace is ready.”
“That’s our call General, glitches and rebels are launching a last do or die attack on the palace and we must not let it fall, because if it does everything; the deaths at Luna, Mercury and on Earth itself will be in vain.”
Steel didn’t wait for his response, she just turned around and headed for the Sparrow, the ship fitted about five-hundred soldiers and her squad wasn’t even filling one compartment of it.
Denver Metro Zone.
Knight Commodore Patricia Lang peered around the corner of a building, a gunfight erupted near her and instantly her shields popped up as a reflex reaction. “Plasma discharge detected at 60 meters, reading one hostile and one unknown.” Her Mobile Suit’s AI reported.
“Reactor detonation confirmed, hostile eliminated/offlined unknown unit remains online.”
Patricia pulled down her TDF battlenet grid, which showed that she was the only MS unit left, hell she was the only royalist unit left in this sector of the city.”
“Only one way to find out…” She clutched the controls as she piloted the Leo MS forward towards the unknown units position, only to stand her ground at the sight of a dead glitch HERC. “Those things are tough as hell, how could one unit have destroyed it…?” She turned her head around as she moved forward slightly, damn glitch jammers made it impossible to use radar here. She violently bumped into something, her shields flared and instinctively she levelled her dual Vulcan cannons at whatever there was in front of her. She didn’t recognize the HERC she was about to give a new face job but the paint-job did remind her of a Knight unit only not one from this planet, the only thing her ID tracker gave her was a name; Jensen.
“Okay, mister Jensen , you got three seconds to tell me who you are before I redecorate your face.”

The battle continued to unfold, anothr massive salvo tearing into a swarm of ships, their contents leaning out into space. No kills, but plenty of damaged targets. Moving slowly closer to the solar, The Xenonian vessell threw another masssive array of firepower at it's targets, before hailing the vessell.
Seconds later, Boarding pods entered the Miaks PDS zone. THe return fire was incredible, missiles, PDS guns, and neutralisiation fields all tearing into the swarm of incoming pods, wiping them out before they could close. However, they contiuned to come, in a true swarm, clouding the very space with their onslaught. Seconds later, several hit the Xenonian vessell, only to have the entire ship activate a repulsion field, reduicng another wave to scrap.
There were far too many to be stopped through firepower, however, and finally a few cut through the hull, making it into the confines of the ship, even as the last fo their fellows were picked apart by defence fire, and the ship itself began to close it's wounds.
Ka Pulled out his swords, his advanced senses already sure of the targets' position, dashing through the corridors, alarms blared, and his neuralink confirmed his belief. Over fifty warforms were in the next room.
Ka stopped at the doorway, stepped back, and came crashing through, even as his own two comrades enterd smashed through the opposite door. Pulling out his energy-blades, he began to mathodically hack through the boarders, incredible speed preventing all but a few of his foes weapons from hitting his own personal shield. The shield, while unable to stop the weapons, slowed them down, long enough for his suit to realise the extent of the incoming threat, and deploy it's own nanites to counter the weapon. Mericifully, the enemy cold only inflict minor damage.
Firing blasts at close in range, Ka saw the other two Soldiers tearing into the remainder of the boarders with Quantum Cannon, and missile fire. Seconds later, it was all over, the entire deck cleared. Reports coming in from the other decks indicated the same, that the boarders had either been repulsed in blood close combat, or annihiliated by massed firepower.
Now, the Xenonians could have a brief break. All crew were needed on deck, and the 100 so Soldiers on this vessell would have to prepare for another possible wave. Ka felt exhiliarated, but allowed himself time to think things over. The Enemy used nanite-based weaponry on boarding parties. This was certainly a high level threat. Nodding to the two soldiers behind him, Ka returned to the central command center.

Eric turned to his troopers and nodded to them as he began to walk forth towards the Sparrow his rifle slung over his shoulder. They fallowed suit quickly trusting Eric once again with their lives. Eric looked up to one of the VBr-4's and opened a com-line and spoke, "Lt. You are to shift to hybrid formation and fallow us at the same speed. If we move to fast you have permission to use fighter formation." "Copy that sir. Fallowing when you are taking off," came the reply as the ten fighters lept into the air and reached the peak of the jump only to have the pilots slam the H lever down to have the massive fighters shift from the humanoid form of battloid into the hybrid combination of the fighter body and the human legs and arms holding the massive gunpod.
after receiving the message Col. Rash ordered the dropships to the coordinates given to him. since he was the most senior offcer in the mission he had complete control over the vessels. as they al veered off to head for that beacon. from there they would make their way to one of the planets.
"I say we head to Earth sir. its a planet with historical value, their leader will most likely be there." Major golandez said over the communications board.
"no this guys a general hes gonna stay in the fighting, the only way he could have earned this much loyalty is by being in the fight, he'll fight with his men maybe mars or at most the moon." captain Aguon replied.
"are you kidding, hes obviously on the moon this guys gonna play it safe and have his men do the fighting hes a coward, from the moon he can escape easily if it comes under attack. plus of the mega macho boost he gets from looking out his window and seeing a planet he basically controls." major Mauer stated. she was younger than the rest and therefore the most eager and patriotic.
over the comm.'s all the commanders were arguing about were we should strike first we had limited communication range which meant the units had to stay on the same planet for secure communication. but it was up in arms where the first attack should go to.
"people settle down were here to pick the best attack path for our fleet. not destroy the enemy on our own. we'll go to venus, that will get our forces into the fighting the quickest and the "aliens" possibly havent rooted themselves too deep in it yet." Col Rash said. the cloaking devices on our ships should get us past, invisible to the human eye, radar, and heat vision, thanks to some of the technology gained from the predator race.
"yes sir." everyone over the comm.'s said he could hear alot of tension in their voices he knew many of them didn't agree with the decision, but they knew he was right about the tactics, and he was in charge so there was nothing they could do about it.
the ships turned their course and resumed the trip. in no time they entered orbit at venus turning on their cloaking devices just in time. since radars picked up a patrol of fighters coming through the area. they werent spotted the fighters just kept on moving. so the dropships made their burn into the planets atmosphere each ship would land in differnt coordinates around the planet and with the dropships onboard computers map out land areas and prime targets using the beacons from the squad members. col. rash's team landed in a jungle.
the dropship doors opened on either side, and eight ropes were dropped from it along with eight elite soldiers fast roping down to the ground. as soon as they were down they uncliped themselves. then te predator looked down from the ship. "dont tell me it's afraid of heights, one of the guys said." everyone in the squad laughed lightly. but were all stunned when the predator jumped from the ship and fell 60 feet landing in a puddle with a splash, on its feet. everybody stopped laughing and moved out to postions ideal for coverfire. the ropes from the dropship were cut and it took off back into orbit to monitor the progress of the teams. if anything happened it could be back down in 2 min. to pick them up.
"alright we have to head south." the col. said and waving his hand in the direction of south. and everyone moved out on his command. heading for their nav point. some city.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
back in helgahn territory the ships had already engaged their magnetic propulsion drives and were on their way. everything was uplifted and packed down ready for the trip. the armories were filled with weapons and ammo. and supply ships were on their way from helgahn for resuplying the 3rd army. the helghast fleet wasnt much for doing open battle. the stratgey in them relied on staying as far back from the enemy as possible and launching skipper missiles at enemy ships. since their was no intel on who was good or who was bad, they couldnt just launch a skipper missile this time they had to depend on LRM's for defense they packed as much a punch as a skipper missile, and can be launched from a safe distance but the enemy could enclose on them. thats why the main defense of the ships lied in the assault parties every memeber of the 3rd army was prepped for boarding another ship, and specially designed ships called parasite craft, had been made for that purpose they first launched a series of volleys to weaken the hull and then rammed the ship and releasng its minions like a mosquito does with malaria.

OOC: Sorry for the lack of posting recently. Damnable tests.
Jensen’s reaper leapt back in surprise, the neural link between it and him conveying every bit of his surprise into the machine’s movements. The Reaper’s black and teal trimmed bulk jumped backwards with inhuman quickness as the mobile suit emerged from the sensor cover of the battlefield. All the debris combined with the simple fact that it wasn’t sending out active scans had allowed it to approach him undetected.
Jensen tensed and thumbed the controls to his weapons nervously. His Herc’s IFF didn’t read the unit as enemy, but nor did it read the target as friendly. It obviously wasn’t of the same make as the nightmarish monstrosity he had just destroyed. (indeed, only just. It had taken a good deal of firepower to bring down its shields and armored hide. He was fortunate that he didn’t have to use any of his missiles.) But, how was he to know whether it was a rebel unit, or perhaps an enemy trick?
Suddenly, Jensen received a radio transmission, hearing and assimilating its contents as it pulsed through his Herc’s comms systems directly into his brain.
He smiled. An enemy unit wouldn’t be bothering to talk to him, and his AI unit was able to evaluate the Mobile Suit’s markings based on the wreckage of other units strewn about. Yup, it was a loyalist alright.
"My name is Knight-Lieutenant Jensen of Sword Alpha, Tulwar squad. Currently attached to the ISV Adjudicator under the command of Star-General Marcus. My Sword and I dropped in when we got a call for assistance from allied forces in this area. May I ask who you are?"
Jensen paused for a breath before continuing. "And if I may ask, what was that thing? It was like something out of a nightmare, and it took an altogether frightful amount of firepower to take down. Practically an alpha strike, and my Herc's weapons aren't the lights you'd find on a Remora either."
******
Marcus frowned as he read the casualty reports from the boarding action. The enemy nanites were tenacious, occasionally overwhelming the Imperial counter nanites and consuming limbs, weapons, doors, everything his ship needed to fight. And those damned spider bots were using the maintenance tubes to infiltrate his ship. His only option to root those out was to either send in single, unarmored men, or armed recon servomechs. Neither option would be cheap or easy. He made a note to himself to widen the repair tunnels when the Adjudicator was at a MFB next.
Marcus needed to vent some rage, and an enemy battleship fast approaching into range gave him just the proper outlet. “Star-Captain, I want that vessel burned from the stars.”
Rand merely licked his lips in anticipation and gave the targeting computers the relevant information. Within mere moments, a great hail of azure beams leapt out from the Adjudicator’s many PPB emplacements, each one calibrated for maximum shield damage. They flew true, slamming into the enemy battleship with great, shield busting force. They were battered down in an instant.
The Adjudicator then opened up with it’s D-guns, sending dozens of the wholly incomprehensible force disruption packets towards the now unshielded and thus unprotected behemoth. The D-guns tore through space, causing whatever unshielded object they hit to literally explode outward as it’s atoms lost cohesion, the tremendous repulsing forces no longer balanced.
“Target destroyed, General.” Rand replied, elated at the minor victory. Unfortunately, more of the enemy vessels were starting to realize that his ship was a major threat and they were thus moving to intercept the Adjudicator.
“Excellent. Keep on firing. And for the lord’s sake, don’t allow any more boarding pods to get through.”

Cooke looked up, straining to see the landing craft that he had heard moments ago replayed through his suit’s mike. Bolo landing craft were a most comical sight to see, or so Cooke had heard. He’d never actually been in a situation where he could see one before.
His expectations of peculiarity were not disappointed by what he saw. The landing craft itself looked vaguely like a mosquito. A mosquito carrying either a whale or a building, for Cooke couldn’t decide which. The Bolo tank itself looked like a massive slab, some five hundred meters from end to end (or so his suit’s sensors told him.) A tower protruded from the top of the monstrous tank/fortress, the famed anti-orbital ‘Shiva’ cannons that allowed it to protect itself from casual orbital bombardment. Lower down were the annihilation cannons, smaller weapons designed to glass cities and smash continents, all deactivated for this mission. Verily, only the lighter weapons were permitted here, the infinite repeaters, low yield microbursters, plasma beams, and railguns. Along with the myriad point defenses of course.
The landing craft set the hulking vehicle down with a wheeze and then took off again, this airspace was contested and it surely didn’t want to get caught in the crossfire.
This is Bolo unit of the line GNT, reporting deployment successful. Awaiting orders and//or clearance to begin combat maneuvers.
Cooke was awed, the thing was larger than a gravball field for Lord’s sake! Of course he’d heard of the Bolo mobile fortresses, the mightiest projections of Imperial might on a planet, but until a person has stood next to one, he can never truly understand the sheer scale of the armored brute. Of course, given its function, it would have to be huge. Huge to have a fully viable Herc bay, light production facilities, armories, and all the other functions of a mobile command post mated with armor, an AI unit that makes most look like wrist calculators, and massive T-Grav assisted treads.

OoC: Venus: The unique environment of Venus was the most hostile among the colonies. Enormous atmospheric pressure equalled the depths of Earth's oceans. Sulphuric acid rained onto a bleak, volcanically active landscape. Huge electrical storms, tremendous heat, and a permanent high-altitude layer of hurricane-force winds combined to make flight to and from orbit extremely hazardous. The planet truly seemed to be a vision of hell.
So your invited to deploy infantry to Venus, but I’d doubt they’d last that long.
However it would be possible to deploy troops to the settlements called arcology’s, huge fortress like cities built above and below the surface. The main arcology is called Carson and as long as the space battle rages overhead between the Imperial Navy, Long Patrol and the Cybrid armada the enemy won’t deploy any forces to Venus.
IC:
Nova Alexandria
Low flying above the city the Sparrow swooped over rebel positions near the north side of the palace, its Vulcan gun pods firing like mad into the infantry as its railguns picked out enemy armour. It seemed to harmlessly shrug off flak, lasers, missiles and just about everything else thrown at it as it hovered behind the out defensive wall of the palace where the loyalists had dug in. The pilot keyed into the troop bay. “This is your captain speaking I hope you enjoyed flying with the Terran Defence Force and we hope to see you back soon on another one of our flights, now out the back!” The six assault ramps dropped, leading the infantry into safety behind the outer wall where they just had to jump into the trenches to get a look at the enemy.
Denver Metro Zone
Patricia ordered her Leo to take a step back, lowering the dual Vulcan autocannons as well.
“My name is Knight-Commodore Patricia Lang, 6th Sword, Order of the Red Rose, as for those glitches, well lets just say that they where designed to bring terror to the heart of all that lives and fights against them and it has the firepower to back its appearance up.”
Patricia fiddled around with her IFF transponder interface, her AI in the mean time kept an eye out on her surroundings. A batch of noises, beeps and quirks coming from her console and probably Jensen’s too, indicated that her IFF transponder was done with a cold hard ten second reboot. “Alright, patching you into the TDF battlenet Jensen.”
Luna orbit.
The Raven positioned itself in Lunar orbit, two turrets on her spine faced downwards, known as Bombardment Guns. As they fired the entire carrier rocked from top to bottom, sending two huge shells into advancing Cybrid forces.
Raven, hit confirmed.
Another salvo ripped apart an enemy outpost, sending debry flying into orbit.
Confirmed hit, Raven.
The bombardment would take a while as the Raven would spend the next six hours delivering pay-loads and reinforcements down to Luna’s surface.
Meanwhile the moon approached the point where it was closest to near Earth orbit, its remaining railguns and missile batteries delivering a volley into the cybrids battling it out with the alliance fleet and the Orbital Fleet, causing a battleship and six carriers go up in flames.
Earth Orbit
Fleet Admiral Vulpes sat in his chair as his ship fired its massive 1400mm railguns at an enemy carrier, completely ripping it apart. “Status, report.” He said, sipping his glass of wine.
“Twenty enemy carriers have been destroyed so far by the Alliance Fleet sir, only two battleships remain and the enemy has no fighters left, also reporting at least nine enemy carriers heavily damaged. We’ve lost the carrier Boston and the cruisers Crown and Pride to enemy fire but still advancing steadily." Enemy tactics and fire where non-existent at this point and as the final battleship received the killing blow from a staffing Aerospace bomber the remainder of the cybrid fleet activated their engines as they jumped to an unknown destination, but one thing was certain, they where not travelling together as all ships took a different heading.
The lines crackled, static at first.
Alliance Fleet, Alliance Fleet, this is Gierling Orbital glitch attackers defeated, reading all clear on Earth and Lunar orbit, we have a victory.
No sooner had the orbital guard claimed victory for the first siege of Earth the messages came in from the colonies.
Alliance Fleet, Alliance Fleet, Phobos Orbital here, what just happened there? Glitch attackers are on the run for the Free Martian Aerospace Squadron…
Alliance Fleet, Alliance Fleet, this is Drachemstan Orbital, we have a confirmed victory on glitch attackers, Umbral Thorn Aerospace Squadron cut those toasters to pieces with some help from the teddy’s frigates.
Alliance Fleet, this is Eskandani Long Patrol berths, what the hell is going there, please confirm that Lunar arrays have picked up glitch forces burning on out-system vector?
Calling all TDF, calling all TDF, this is the Navy’s Mercury Battlegroup, glitch carriers just pulled out of Mercury orbit, turned tail and ran. Calling all TDF, please confirm glitches burning out-system vectors?
All around the system cybrid vessels started to retreat, leaving their ground based warforms behind, struggle ensued between these units as they struggled with one another for supremacy and leadership of the others. Cybrid attackers turned on each other, leaving rebel forces alone to face the brunt of the alliance and loyalist’s troopers.
The general call went out to all ground-warfare theatres:
By her Majesty’s Will, TDF high command:
The Imperial Navy has declared the first Starsiege a victory for Loyalist space forces, we, the ground forces must follow in their lead. As of now, full-fleet support is available and all units are to switch to offensive battle plans at once.
That will be all.

Scanners showed the enemy retreating all across the system, fleeing from resistance that had proven harder than expected. Turning the front of his ship to face that of the Fleet Admiral in what could only be interpreted as a salute, the Miak released a swarm of probes, each searching for plausible targets in he ground.
It took several minutes to get a position web functional around source locations of energy burts that indicated battles, but when the probes came online, they revealed bases near the magnetic north of the planet. Data on defences was hard to aquire, but the location was enough.

Very well, proceed with your bombardment; the Orbital Guard advises you that there is heavy anti-fighter cover alongside some Aerospace guns. The Orbital Guard can't spare any squadrons for now, but if one comes available we'll dispatch them to your location, good hunting.
Battleships Solar and Rose will cover your deployments onto the surface, oh and I suggest you listen into the O'web news transmissions, there's a bit of glory for you to get there.
Alliance Fleet breaks Starsiege, Rebel forces pushed back on Earth
During a momentus battle, raging from all ends of the solar system, units of the Orbital Guard and the Long Patrol defeated cybrid forces stationed at Luna and Earth. Sources within the Orbital Guard have confirmed that the Long Patrol was not without reinforcements as over a dozen unknown ships jumped into Earth and Lunar together with the Long Patrol in fleet formation and proceeded to land troops into the besieged cities of Nova Alexandria and the Denver Metro Zone.
Vague reports confirm that the following ships have partaken in the battle:
ISV Adjudicator, MCD Explorer, PSN Shadow Angel IV and one more ship on which the Orbital Guard could not get an ID.
The Long Patrol also speculates that an entire fleet has penetrated Venus orbit, although Drachemstan Orbital is yet to confirm this.
The appearance of these ships just out-system can be thanked to a off-course message drone destined for Titan, the MCD Explorer being the first to enter the system only to come under immediate attack from a cybrid strikeforce, the carrier Raven having to come to its aide. Several other ships arrived shortly after, most notably the ISV Adjudicator and the PSN Shadow Angel IV, both ships outmatching the Long Patrol’s Emperor class battleships in size and weaponry.
During the battle for Earth and Luna, both the Shadow Angel and the Adjudicator deployed troops planetside as of yet these troops still fight alongside units of the TDF and the Orders. After the cybrid fleet retreat, cybrid ground units fell into disarray and left rebel units largely unsupported leaving massive gaps in their defensive positions where loyalist and alliance troops struck hard.
Only a day after the breaking of the Starsiege by the alliance fleet the Metro Zones of Sydney, New Holland, Denver and dozens more all over the NAP have been retaken as the Order of the Aster closes in on general Zardrak’s headquarters in the Gobi desert where the general is massing his forces. Although under constant attack from the Orbital Guard’s weapons platforms and the fact that the TDF has complete dominance of the skies over the Asian prefect will make sure that any battle that will take place between Zardrak’s infantry and the Order’s Mobile Suits will be in the favour of the Order.
A message from Nova Alexandria confirms that alliance soldiers have bolstered loyalist positions at the palace, with cybrid units causing more damage to themselves then to loyalist units and rebel units severely under strength their last attack was stalled and it is expected that the units maintaining the siege of the city will be attacked head on after the city is cleared.

OOC: Khopesh - Singular. Khapesh = Plural. Heavy Gunship, or corvette. Either designation does me fine.
Also note, my destroyer are merely 1.5 km, but pack as much firepower as vessells that are a lot larger. I'm roleplaying them as being equivalent to Kanuckistani and CF ships of the line, because it's always cool to be massively outnumbered, like them.
IC:
The Khopesh Gunships and Ratprs immediately sped straight to the surface, given their confirmation. the Enemy saw them coming, and responded appropriately, anti-aircraft fire seeming to blot out the sky, or haze it red.
Nevertheless, extreme speed and the missiles of both Raptrs and gunships were the major teller, firing a volley before the defenders even knew what was happening, the Xenonian ships able to move one way, and fire the other, all the while strafing defenses in tight formation patterns. The Heavier Gunships took the brunt of the damage, taking the hits to preserve the sheer speed and flexibility of the Raptrs, who pounced on any guns that look to have a solid lock on the Khapesh, who delivered telling blows with their heavier warheads. The Rebels could only veiw the speeding (and graffiti covered) hulls of the Xenonian fighters and attempt to get a lucky hit.
The Gunships took a heavy beating, but managed to scrape together, while no Raptrs were destroyed, allthough two had to make emergency crash landings under heavy fire. They were immediately transported back to the Miak.
Playing alongside a pre-arranged singal, the entire divison pulled back, leaving slag, debris, and corpses in it's wake. Seconds later, a tiny red dart, almost unntoiceable, was all that marked the base. A marker, picking the very middle of the base even as tiny probes recorded it all.
Soon, a volley of Quantum Torpedoes cleansed even that from the land, until nothing remained, even the stench of the aftermath.
Captain Commander Ka
To: Fleet Admiral Vulpes.
I trust that will serve as a constant reminder of what befells those who betray a fair and just system of government. The Id for this ship, in unnoficial, as we have no need for such things. However, you would call this vessell "Liirha", which translates to "Bringer of Justice".
Also of note, should it help you, we destroyed 5 destroyer class vessells, and 6 Cruisers, alongside 3 Carriers. Hull damage was minimal from this conflict, and the rebellion seems to have been resolved. Anything else you wish to discuss?

OOC: Sorry for the lack of posting. I've been occupied with RL issues lately.
Jensen was fortunate that he had been patched into the TDF battlenet. Unlike the Imperial battlenet, it had more relevant information about his, and the TDF's current situation. As any soldier will say, situational awareness is key to victory, and Jensen's sword, along with reinforcements from the Adjudicator fully believed in that tenet of war. It was what allowed the allied forces to smash through the Cybrid and rebel lines at Nova Alexandria, Denver, and a myriad of other locations in the system. Although, in the mop up to come, there was a feeling in the back of Jensen's mind. It was almost as though the Cybrids had lost their way, their guiding influence. Their leader. What had, when he arrived, been a unified, cohesive, and nearly irresistible force had degenerated into scattered groups of machines in an 'every glitch for himself' free for all.
'Could we have won if the Cybrids didn't falter?' Jensen would later ask himself. 'Probably not' he decided. It would have taken more than the troops on the Adjudicator, that's for certain.
******
Cooke sighed. He'd lost a few Knight-Brothers in this 'mop up' to hidden rebel AT teams and scattered Cybrid hunter-killer units. Their names would be recorded on 'the wall' in Opterra city. They would join the likes of Alland Grey Norton, John Freeman, and Adrian Shepard. True heroes of the Empire. Indeed, every Imperial soldier who gave their lives safeguarding the people from the tyranny of the alien or the subversion of the heretic was a hero.
"But heroism doesn't bring back the dead, now does it?" Cooke bitterly reflected. He'd seen too many friends killed, by enemy fire, friendly fire, bouncing into nuclear minefields...the list went on and on.

Marcus smiled happily. He viewed the allied victory here as redemption for his failure against the Feazanthians. Now that the battle was over, troop recovery operations were beginning, the monstrous Bolo fortress being one of the first things up. (After all, a highly mobile and slightly psychotic planetary siege unit would be sure to make anyone a bit nervous!)
But while the allies had won the battle, Marcus still felt there was some minor prestiege to be gained here, most likely by negotiating some kind of treaty with the royalists. Anything to improve his standing in the discerning eyes of the Emperor.
"Rand, open a channel to the Solar. Greetings, Fleet Admiral Vulpes. This is General Marcus speaking. I wish to meet with you and your government to negotiate a non aggression and trade treaty between our two governments. Please respond."

Kenzie grimaced as he blasted another wave of boarding pods. They just kept coming! Even his corvettes were only partially stemming the tide. In fact, it seemed like more would get through this time, until they just simply turned around and fled, running this way in that. So it was that a desperate dogfight for survival degenerated into a turkey shoot of epic proportions as allied fighters blasted glitch boarding pods and fighters from the sky.
”Hey, Alpha two, you seeing this?” He asked. It seemed a very strange thing for the glitches to do when they had been so close to overwhelming his defense.
“Aff, Alpha lead. Seems like they just up and left.”
“All fighter squadrons, this is the Cag. Allied communiqués in the system indicate the glitches are retreating on all fronts. Return to base, get some rest and prep for a patrol. I don’t trust these ‘bots.”

The line of rebels advancing through the trenches smashed against loyalist lines, close combat fighting erupted and more then one loyalist soldier choose to draw his vibrosword. Gruelling hand to hand combat shot across the defences as rebel after rebel was cut down.
For a moment the loyalist line seemed to break, even with the Phalanixian troops present the rebels surged for one last time towards the defences and into the maw of fire created by TDF troops.
As the first rebel jumped over the inner barricade he was picked of cleanly by a blaster shot, the shot came from the courtyard and loyalists and rebels alike turned to the source, a woman holding two blaster pistols. The rebels dropped their weapons, clearly afraid as loyalists stood in awe leaving only the Phalanixians to wonder what was going on.
Chatter began to flood the TDF battlenet.

Talia delegated her comms with Captain Ka to the Fleet Admiral; he could handle the exchange of diplomats
Captain Ka, milady Talia has delegated communications to me, she wishes to exchange an ambassador and to establish trade routes should this be possible. We would also be interested in parts of your starmaps concerning the systems around ours. As you possibly have known we have not explored much further then our own system as of yet.
As the comms officer relayed another channel to the Adjudicator the comms systems beeped, its AI overstretched by the thousands of communications coupled with several dozen laser hits to its array it shut down partially only allowing one video-audio channel and ship comms.
“Get me transport to the Adjudicator at once Admiral.” Talia said, somewhat irritated at the failure of the communications array of the Solar.
Vulpes nodded, using the ships AI he checked the docking bays, revealing only aerospace fighters and a few boarding pods, his eyes slid over the blue paint of a Mobile Suit.
“Dock officer, prepare the Sapphire for launch at once, have a squadron of fighters ready for escort.”
“At once admiral, who will be flying it sir?”
Vulpes sighed. “Milady Talia will…”
The dock officer gulped. “Yes, yes sir, we’ll do our best.”
Five minutes later the Mobile Suit launched out of the docking bay of the Solar, weapons consisted of a shoulder mounted 150mm railgun, dual Vulcan 30mm cannons, Pit Viper missile pods and a X-MG forcesword.
As soon as it cleared the bay twenty jet black Raven fighters took up formation around it, the passage to the Adjudicator completing itself without incident as Talia contacted the ship.

A long line of Hercs, all clad in dull white armor stood at the edges of the bay at rigid attention like great gatekeepers, or royal guards. Hundreds of white armored knights stood at rigid attention in the cavernous bay as they waited for the Queen's...'transport' to arrive. Ahead of them all was Star-General Marcus, clad in a set of blue d-armor, although only a glimmer of azure was visible for the General wore a thick, black cloak over his person.
