Timeline Projection initiated – Targeted Species – Human

Current Status:- Infestation of four Galaxies. Populated worlds of significant value: eight hundred.

One Hundred Year Projection based on current Human propagation, expansion and military technology:- Infestation of twelve Galaxies. Populated worlds of significant value: two hundred thousand.

One Thousand Year Projection based on Compounded Human Expansion:- Infestation of five hundred Galaxies. Populated Worlds of significant value: eighteen million.

Tactical Conclusion

Disperse and Destroy.

Tactical Objective: Destruction of Human Homeworld and defence forces: Eradication of Earth.

Location – Milky Way, Outer Rimm Asteroid Field.

Space is a quiet and vast expanse, larger than the comprehension of one mind, greater than the largest Empire, and more powerful than the most advanced race. Space has become an Intergalactic field, filled with trillions of species, billions of worlds and ships, but as with all fields, they must be weeded.

In the blinking background of the outer rim the lifeless, vacant region gained a new presence. Asteroids sped past unaware of the shadow looming over them.

From a large almost Diamond craft, fighters streamed out, the Drej had arrived.

OOC: This is utterly open. Waiting for an Mentallinauts or someone to popup now ^_^

Deep Space Miner Nova Allure
Asteroid field
Somewhere on the edge of the Milky Way galaxy
21:50:05 PM, Day 15, Month 3, Imperial Standard Year 864
==============================

“Nothing on the sensors, Boss,” Byram, one of the four members of the crew of the Nova Allure said in his Rewjian twang, “Don’t think we’re gonna hafta shake any pirates this time.”

For a few moments, the only sound was the low, droning noise of the ship combined with the archaic ‘rock and roll’ being played over the comms.

“Yeah,” the Captain simply replied, slouched in the command chair with his legs outstretched on a console and hat over his eyes.

They all called him ‘Boss’ or ‘Captain’, his real name didn’t really matter much to anyone. He’d got into the business of deep-space mining after his commitment to the Penguenian Dominion Armada was up. It was one of the most lucrative trades in the galaxy, after all; lucrative, but dull.

“This run’ll rake in enough for us to go on a pretty long leave, right Boss?” asked the Rewjian monitors officer as he relit his cigarette.

“Yeah,” replied the Captain again, followed by happy exclamations from the two crewmen outside over the comms.

Hours went by. Every minute or so more and more raw ore piled into the cargo hold, filling the massive ship with trillions of tones that could be sold to the government or on the black market.

A rune began to flash on Byram’s sensor console, accompanied by a beep every time the diode lit.

“What is it, Byram?” the Captain asked as he sat up in response to the sudden activity of the sensors.

The Rewjian was silent for a few moments, examining his console carefully, “Boss, this can’t be right. We’ve got hundreds of contacts coming in fast. I think it’s a glitch. There ain’t no way anything living but us is out here.”

Over the comms came a distorted message from the crewmen outside.

The Captain and Byram stared at each other for a moment, both, for the first time thinking that the sensors weren’t glitched.

“Put external view on the monitor, now.”

What they saw would frighten the most hardened person. They seemed like millions of small, alien craft flanked by what was obviously a mammoth mothership, bearing in their direction. Not once in his career as a naval officer had he been so afraid, much less his career as a deep space miner.

“Are we gonna die, Boss?” Byram asked meekly, trembling in his seat.

The Captain flicked open a small plexipane panel on the armrest of his command chair and pressed the ‘last call’ button as he simply replied, “Yeah.”

The Nova Allure was no more.

The Al-Imvad taskforce dispatched to investigate/deal with the new aliens which had appeared so suddenly in the Milky Way arrived just in time to see the Peguanian ship destroyed. Not the Al-Imvad taskforce would have been able to do much, consisting only of a Lynx Class, 2 Piranha, and a squadren of Seagulls. Not a large strike force, and not nearly enough to even put much of a dent into the alien fighters that were pouring over them. Though theydid manage to take down a few dozen, enuogh to allow a distress beacon to be sent out.

On Jagrith the Homeworld of the Dratherians at Fleet Command

Red lights started flashing and sirens exploded with noise.

Tech: "Admiral we have a report its rather disturbing. It's the Drej sir they've returned."

Admiral: "What after all these years. Where are they?"

Tech: "They've just reched the Milky Way sir. Their projected course s through the only jump point. Best guess they're going to try to destroy the Tauri."

Admiral: "This is a problem ready the fleet. Call all ships back and have them restocked and refueled for deployment. We were charged many years ago with the protection of the other races now lets follow through with that. I will be on the USS Draconic. We must stop them before they get to the next jump point and have multiple avenues of attack."

On the other side of the Outer Rim Asteroid Belt

The entire Dratherian Fleet drops out of Transwarp in a brilliant green flash.
The fleet included
Acclamator Class Transport-1
Interdictor Cruiser-1
YF-2400X2 (Outrider)-20-Corvette outfitted with Transwarp
YF-2400 (Outrider)-15-Corvette

Cylon Occupided Caprica

The City Stood, next to the city. Hundred of High Rise Buildings stood, and the forms of Human Cylons could be seen walking through the streets. Around walked the Battle Droids, working as police at the time. In the Exact Center of the city, a massive Circular building stood, looking a bulge of Marble. In the Center of the Building sat the Throne of the Emperor, who was going through messages faster then the human could ever hope. He paused at the loss of a Basestar on the Edge of the Galaxy, and reveiwed what the raider had reported before failing.

He Paused, reveiwed the thing four times then smiled. The Cylons had, ever since the desrtuction of the Caprican Humans, created their own scocity. When they found there where more humans in the universe, they had given up and tried to ally. But this.....New People could help the Cylons in ways the Empire had never Imagiened. He then laughed. The Cylons where not well known, a fact they had needed to keep Caprica Safe. Now the Empire would be known, although its location would still be impossible. None would stand in the Cylon way, all would follow, or perish.

Edge of Milky Way, Directly in the Path of Drej Advance.

The Cylon Basestars finished their jump, arriving in large numbers. A full Hundred Of them stood their, fully ready for war. It may have seemed a mirical for some nations for such numbers so quickly, but the Fleet was always ready for war, and could be deployed anywhere in a few hours. The Stars where uniform in apperance, all but one, which looked like Twelve of the things connected in different ways. In the Center of the massive ship The Emperor sat, the first time in his history off Caprica. He waited, then pulled himself through to the Drej fleet.

()-()Inquiry made, please respond.()-()

Welcome to our galaxy friends, we of Caprica Welcome those who come, weather it be in war or Peace. Please halt your advance, for we have come to request a Bargin. We see only one ship of any skill of carring people, and by our readings, their are no reasons for you to have Civilians. A Fleet of such size must mean an Invasion. Thus we come to help you. Our people are strong, require nothing to be able to surrvive besides power. Thus an allience would be benificial, do you not agree. Should you open fire, we will leave, sending more neclear weapons then we used in the last Caprican War, Thank you.

Tech: "Admiral we just intercepted a transmission it's from the cylons. And sensors show they have amassed near the Drej fleet. They appear to be attempting to make contact with the Drej."

Admiral: "This has given me an idea. Contact fleet command and ask them to do a quick adaption and repair of a Dratherian vessel known as the Argos-class. Have them dispatch two of the and position 20 TIE Droids, 30 Dragon-class fighters, and 30 Banshee-class fighters to defend them."

Tech: 'Yes sir. May I ask why? That ship is ancient."

Admiral: "Because they were installed with breen energy dampeners and if the Drej are Pure Energy and since Cylons are synthetic beings I imagine they will have a more devastating effect on the enemy."

In two hours time the Argo-class (http://irc.wcnews.com/ships/images/wc3cruiser.jpg) vessels appeared out of a Transwarp conduit. And the fleet was restructured to accomadate them.

IC:

The Emperor stood before the altar, about which at least four prisoners of war were suspended, hooks and wire slowly rending into their flesh, as their own body weight drove them upon it. About him, his most trusted Sorcerors chanted incantations, the blood flowing from the bodies surging through ceremonial grooves, hissing through crack and crevice, glowing dully in the light.
The Great Lightning Claw scraped across the altar, sparking the stone, as the Emperor himself chanted in arcane tongues, the sticky red ichors shimmering, till they dispersed into a fine mist, rising about the crackling Talon, before being formed into a semi solid shape. It rose, eyes shimmering in black sockets of void, the blood that formed it changing, transmuting to energy itself.
"You...De Drakan, Chosen of the Gods, you dare summon Giz'nak! You shall rot in the flames of a thousand suns, you shall burn for violating my realm you shall-"
Lightning crackled about the Claw, but it was for Lifebane, the Daemon blade that the Emperor reached, driving it into the spirit which roared in pain and fury, crackling with energy as its essence was siphoned into the blade.
"Tell me what I wish to know, abomination...And I shall spare you imprisonment with your brethern and the souls of countless mortals in the blade."
"A new power rises, an evil that rends asunder those who call themselves humanity. They seek the cradle of Man"
"Terra..."
"Indeed; 'Earth'. They shall shatter all defences, even now the great procrastrinartors and defenders move to stop them; the ones who fought back the Shivan horde as it rent space asunder."
"The ESUS...Interesting."
"Assailed on all sides shall humanity be, by the will of the Gods they...Shall be destroyed" It hissed, writhing in agony, impaled upon the weapon. "Spare us, Marcus! Spare us......" And then it was gone, drawn into the blade as a dull tremor shook it, the being already within happy that its hunger was sated...for now.
Marcus De Drakan thought on what was said, and smiled, rare in itself, but not as rare as the crooning sound that filled the Imperial Palace. The bitter laughter of the Eternal Emperor of Chronosia...

Onboard the Dratherian flagship USS Draconic Admiral Archon sits in his command chair waiting for the enemy. When a Transwarp conduit opens behind the fleet.

Tech: "Sir, we have incoming 80 contacts."

Archon: "Is it the Borg?"

Tech: "No sir, they're ours."

Archon: "What?! How can that be."

Tech: "Sir, these are the new ships that were recently purchased and outfitted. The count is 35 Defiant-class runabouts, 35 Intrepid-class Starships, and 10 Ionic-class (http://www.wcnews.com/ships/images/wcppelican.jpg) Transports. The message says they're loaded full to capacity with the new Leech torpedoes and are to be loaded immediately.

Archon: "Leech torpedoes?"

Tech: "Yes sir, these torpedoes were used in conjunction with the Argo-class ships sir what they essentially do is over load electronic systems. One hit will take out shielding another will take the vessel down to 1/2 power and another will leave it dead in the water. But they will kill the Drej in one to two shots since they are pure energy."

Archon; "Hey maybe we won't have too many losses after all. These should make it easier."

In two hours time all ships were loaded with Leech Torpedoes and armed. Ready for the full assault of the enemy. 95 ships were ready and armed to the teeth. As the Admiral stands on his bridge he knows that they cannot fall or the Tauri would be destroyed.

Rear Commodore Aler Detqui tapped a few keys on his console before pushing the small hovering screen down into his desk. He stretched, happy to have finished his reports for the night. He walked down the hall with a bounce in his step, thinking of the meal awaiting him in his quearters, when a Midshipman IIIrd class apprehended him.
'M'lord, we need you at the bridge, incoming transmission from one a nearby mining operation of ours, top priority, don't know a thing about it..'
With a bit of a sigh, the commodore followed the young man to the nearest lift. Before long he had slid behind his intra-ship control grid console, which easily let him view all ship functions, communications, and nearby vessels. He youched the small flashing icon and a small window popped up with a concerned miner blinking away sweat and grit from his eyes.
'M'lord commodore? H-helo I'm uh Ves-', the man began
'Dispatch with the pleasantries will you? I'm missing a meal, now what is it?', slightests hint of a growl.
'Uh..first contact, unknown race, can't get a lock on their hulls with sensors..well..truth is..they don't HAVE hulls', the miner stuttered
'What the hell do you mean no hulls? If there are no hulls there are no ships. Good night.' he started to stand
'W-wait, there ARE ships, they just arn't made of a material we can lock on to, and their ships are well..transparent.', the miner yelled in a hurry, afraid he was going to lose his only hope of defense if those ships drifted any closer to his colony.
'You could have said thta in the first place, send us all your intel, I'll dispatch for some ships from the nearest military base, you just sit tight and don't try to communicate, we need a professional diplomat for that. Aliens tend to be touchy.' he stood now and closed the screen before the miner could waste more time. After sending a few communications officers scurrying to attract some bigger guns, Gods knew that they would need it if they were attacked, his ship was nothing more than a simple Obelisk class assault frigate, and alone wasn't much of a threat unless you were a primitive star ship of some form.

OOC: Note, the mining base is on the opposite side of the asteroid field from the Drej mothership and her fighters, Trailarii mining colonies tend to be lightly armed, nothing more than some gun platforms or perhaps an asteroid based beam cannon or two, only five or six fighters in their hangars in the event of pirate raids.

OOC: Okay, the only people who I'm going to accept ya know knowing about me being here so far will be Trailers, Chronosia and Penguenia. No one in NS as far as I'm aware has ever encountered the Drej ICly before, I even done a search so ya know, no one knows of them. I will ask the other players to post within reason and wait until the ESUS asks for help, or that the Drej become a hugely known threat, as I'm sure they will be. But keep it cool and we can make this a good RP. IC post following shortly.

This RP is supposed to last a good few weeks, so guys keep it within reason, sheesh, this is on the outer rim, you know the very edge of the Galaxy, I doubt you are going ot have a fleet nearby. Silly and unrealistic posts simply won't be replied to.

Comm tech: "Sir we just caught hold of a transmission it seems to have come from a Tauri mining colony the nation seems to be named Trailarii. They are going to attemp to make contact with the enemy."

Admiral: "Tell them to rendezvous with one of our transports and outfit them with some Leech Torpedoes so they stand a chance of fighting the Drej if necessary. And ask them if they need an escort."

Comm tech: "Yes sir."

In seconds the transmission is sent to the Trailarii.

The commodore had just sat down when the emergency transmission monitor on his wall began to flash and beep. The commodore leered at it and stood, walked over and touched the side.
'Oh, what now?', he groaned.
'We recieved a transmission from a ..primitive..(he spat the word out as if it had a taste) cruiser wishing to come along side and outfit us with some torpedoes of some form..I need orders.' came the answer from the fourth in line of command holding down the bridge while the commodore rested.
'What do you think? Break it to this primitive gently that this is not a missile-carrier, and that our weapons probably out class his little gift by at least four centuries. Besides, let him know that we frankly don't trust him and are on a diplomatic mission and must be on our way.' he rattled off the speech as if it had been drilled into his head in his youthful military education..which it had.
'And if they wander in our direction anyway?'
'Open fire,' he thought for a moment, 'but don't threaten them' he added, knowing this midshipman he probably would admonish them to stay away from them under threat of warning shots anyway..
