Gorkon

To celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the first Gorkonian tank ever put into active service, the 'Cheetah', Gorkonian High Command commissioned the Imperial Mint to produce a special, 22-carat gold coin, 50mm in diameter with a denomination of 50 Gold Sterling.
The coin is limited to a production run of 50,000 worldwide, and will cost at least one hundred times more than its face value to purchase. It features an embossed side-on image of the Cheetah with coloured highlights of the Gorkonian flag on the side. The other side features the standard map of Gorkon.
Gorkonian High Command declared the day a national holiday, whilst critics of the military government simply cited the occasion was another excuse for the military to celebrate another thing that gives them such dominating power over the Gorkonian people. Regardless, the majority of people seemed pleased with the idea of another national holiday.
