Soonly after the purchase of NeoSuun Zhonghuan Indoneasia, Mercitonian forces were deployed everywhere for protection against neighboring lands. 2 Days after the purchase, forces along the Indonesian/Papua New Guinean boarder were ordered to invade, counquer and secure Papua New Guinea for the Empire.

Thirty Third Infantry, leader: Lieutenant General Hanahashi(Footnote 1, look at bottom)

Hanahashi: Men, I've recieved a Imperial telegram from Tokyo. It appears the Empress wants us to press on eastward, to Papua New Guinea. Well, lets sattle up then!
Group of Marines: Yes sir!
The Marines jumped into APCs, tank crews got back into there * JAPANESE * Type 90 Tanks and others into Kampfpanzer Leopard 2 Tanks. The rest of the Marines, along with 300 Special Forces, loaded up and begun marching behind the slow moving vehicles. The boarder was 15 minutes from where they stood. Among many of the soldiers, Private First Class Ichiro Hideki had his XM8 strapped and resting on his back and shoulders. He started reading the departure letter he had recieved from his little brother back in home, little snibbets from his family were included in the letter including a personal untouched letter from his Girl Friend back at home. Most of the things his family had to say to him was about honour and not to flee from battle or he would be shaming the Ichiro family name. His letter from his Girl Friend was different. It was mostly about how she was proud of him for being in the military, and that she would miss him. " Silly she is... " he thought to himself, she should know he would only be gone for only 2 months. Time was evaporated quickly for him while he read and thought of home. He suddenly heard a Soldier next to him say to Hideki " Hey, we've made i-- " and before he could finish the last word, a bullet flew and rested in his chest, just a half inch under the heart. He suddenly fell, and Hideki's response was paniced. He slipped the letters into his pocket on his pants, scrumpling them up, and quickly came to the man's aid. Hideki was of the age of 18, and had no medical training what so ever. He comforted the man, called for a medic. But before the medic came, the man gave him a note book full of scrumpled notes and letters and a picture. Hideki accepted the little note book, and the last word out of the man's mouth was (Footnote 2, refer to bottom) " Arigato... " and his eyes closed with a splurge of blood seeping from his mouth. Suddenly, time went into slow motion. An explosion knocked Hideki a few feet over, however the man's body wasn't affected. Hideki went deaf for about 2 seconds, seeing people running around frantically, young and old alike soldiers lying on the ground screaming help in bloody splurged voices. These men were not ready for this, they were ambushed. Hideki felt a warm sensation on his left leg, he looked down only to find a small metal shard from the APC that was blown up. Part of the Japanese flag and Mercitonian flag was on this metallic shard. He just stared at it, his hearing began to come back. People around him were falling to the ground, some of them dressed raggidy like no shirt and a headband, screaming words in some form of native tounge. Hideki realized what it was, it was " DIE!!! ". He could not be wrong about that, and then suddenly his heart started racing and his muscles buldged, and he shot up, wielding out his pistol forgetting about the rifle on his back. He ran up to a enemy, who had just fired a slug into a dead man's head, and started onloading his pistol into his side. He then lifted his arm, and wacked the man in the head. Only then did Hideki realize his XM8 on his back. He dropped the pistol, slid his Rifle off of his back and into his hands and started unloading into a small pocket of men. The Mercitonian tanks came out of cover assured that there were no more RPG nests, and started shelling the trees. The enemy forces retreated into the forest, and suddenly screaming could be heard as shells boomed in the forest. Hideki fell onto his bottom, next to his dropped pistol and not so far from the man he brutally killed. A medic soon came to Hideki's aid, took out the shrapnel shard which just now started to hurt, and wrapped the wound. The white cloth started turning red slowly, but the tightness of the Bandage soon stopped the blood from seeping out so fast. They have won this battle, but with heavy casualties. The enemy had used Geurilla Warfare tactics, something that the Thirty Third Infantry would be prepared for next time. LtGeneral Hanahashi emerged from some wreckage of the APC that blew up. He was cut up, but nothing worse then Hideki's wound which wasn't that bad. The LtGeneral had seen what Hideki done, he amazingly had a small hole to peep out of as his body remained in shock. The only words he breathed onto Hideki was " Congratulations, Sergeant.. ". Hideki's eyes flared up with some Patriotism, saluting the now walking away LtGeneral. Shortly after his little promotion, the LtGen rallied up the survivors, lots still unharmed, but still several injured slightly, and many dead. No Tanks were lost, and only one APC had been lost. They were lucky that the APC didn't have any important supplies, except it did have valuable life. The men didn't grief at all, it was a tragedy of war and nothing else, and it was a great honour to die on the battlefield in the name of there family and countrymen. About 8 minutes after the first battle, they had been greated by sniper fire. The tanks immediatly fired into trees, and some screams were heard. The sniper fire stopped, and the Thirty-Third pressed onwards. There were now just passing Mount Hagen. They were half way to the Capital, Port Moresby. Resistance started to appear around the mountain, yet the tanks vigirously fired into the trees around the mountains, and Infantry fired into the cliffs. They had passed with little casualties. Suddenly, another big battle erupted. They were just on the outskirts of Port Moresby. But, before the battle, soldiers could see through binoculars how ruined the capital was, and the tiny fights going on between some factions just forming apparently. This made the battle a little easier, but this time there was two enemys to worry about, but thankfully the soldiers were, the two enemys were fighting each other too. The troops entered the battle by shooting tank shells from afar, and snipers firing into the bit more open area of fighting. Suddenly, one of the Factions started running twards the woods where the Soldiers were, and the other faction was slowly being killed off by some of the faction that was charging at the soldiers in the forest. Battle cries could be heard, and every single gun on te soldier side started unloading with out aim. Lines of Papua New Guineans were falling, 10s of hundreds, and soon atleast a hundred had died. Hideki was firing as suddenly he could see projectiles leaving small trails behind them were headed in his immediate direction. He suddenly dropped to the ground, covering his head. But what he didn't see was a soldier who was some what behind him ran into the Proppeled Projectile, and it ripped through his gut and hit the ground some yards behind him, gibbing the men in the immediate area. Hideki got up, and noticed screaming from behind him now, and the Tanks on his side of the battlefield advancing forward, and the enemy running back into the Capital as bullets popped into there backs. He looked behind him in disgust, there lie a man with a gaping hole in his gut screaming random things, mostly a feminem name, possibly his mother's Hideki thought. Other men behind the dying man were already dead, and the man with the hole in his abdomin started screaming at Hideki " SHOOT ME, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!! * blergh * SHOOT ME ALREADY!!!! " and then a man next to Hideki took aim, and fired a slug into the seriously injured man's forhead. Hideki was now completely scarred by this invasion, though he felt like passing out he refused not too and pressed on.
With-in hours, the Capital city of Papua New Guinea fell, and the rest of the country surrendered into Mercitonia's hands. The young Hideki was promoted once more to Staff Sergeant, and recieved news he is to recieve the metal of highest honour from the Empress her self up in Tokyo, Japan. The forces were occupied the Capital, and some were sent back to Jayapura, Irian Jaya, Indonesia where they would be relieved and sent home to Japan by ship. Hideki was one of the few men sent back to Jayapura, Irian Jaya, Indonesia.

OOC: THE FOOTNOTES:
1: Hanahashi is a home brewed name I made, it means " Flower Bridge ".
2: Arigato means thank you. And I know there are many other forms of it, and Arigato would be used twards those older then the person saying it, but the man who said it said it because well...he was handing the most important thing in his life, and really it is notes and letters and a picture of him and his Wife and his baby before he was shipped out. He was really saying thank you in the first place because he know Hideki, being the kind man he was, would deliver it to his ( his as in the guy who gave the notebook to Hideki ) wife.
NON FOOTNOTES PART:
I hope you all enjoyed this verry much. For those who pay attention the the storyline, the whole reason why I am pulling off another " Captain Harrison " is because Hideki will be playing an important roll soon. Him and his Girl Friend will engage and then marry some time after his return home ( in Osaka, Japan ) and then they would have a baby, a DAUGHTER. But, a month or so before they have there daughter, Ashley and Michael Harrison ( will be rulers soon after Diana hands down the position ) will have there SON. There son will fall in love with a girl he once meets while in school, and after they both go through there schooling, he will marry her on the day he is made Emperor of Japan. So yea. And those who don't know, I am starting this whole " saga " pretty much after the funeral of the late dictator Michael Feldinchii ( Father to the current Empress, Diana Feldinchii ). Thanks for reading the entire post, and I wouldn't mind some feedback via TG or post about my storyline and this thread it self so far.
