Best RPer? (For those who voted other)

For those who voted 'Other' in my last poll, rather than for Automagfreek, VoteEarly, Generic empire, Sarzonia, The Parthians, Pacitalia, Praetonia, The Real ALM, or Layaterb: Who do you think is the best RPer?
Sarzonia

I think it's going to be ultra hard to pick any one great RPer without neglecting people who deserve to be on anyone's list. Having said that, I would probably pick either Melkor or Pantera of the people who weren't on either list.

From THIS list, I could see voting for any one of the following: Hamptonshire, Borman Empire (I want to find his and GE's English teachers and give them major props), Sanctaphrax, or Artitsa. From the previous list, I could have voted for Automagfreek, Praetonia or Pacitalia.

Other. I especially like Azazia's RPing ability. Do not be fooled by his small nation, he has been here before, and is the best I have seen, without godmodding, and explains everything you could ever ask for OOC, it is easy and fun to RP with him.

Example RP - A must read! (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=401237)

Just to repeat what I said last time which seems to have been ignored...

"Other" for various obvicous reasoning, I've seen excellent RP from many players, a large number aren't on this list... some of them have only got a very small amount of posts because they are limited in the time they can spend on NS and others simply just don't post on International Incidents because most of the subject matter doesn't interest them.

Unsung role models of mine: Gehenna for her strong character roleplay and excellent character depth, Nathicana for her organisational skills (looking at the Coronation Thread which was 100% throughout despite how much of a nightmare it was to organise) as well as her high quality writing. Scolo because I love his puppets and the effort he puts into building and roleplaying all his nations completely to the concept he builds...

There are also many nations which I rate throughout Nationstates and International Incidents who I feel have improved at an exponential rate... I like it when players learn from their experiences and act on what they've learned. These players are too numberous to meantion all of them but I'm sure many of them know who they are from my compliments in the past on IRC or MSN or even in the thread itself.

So meh, is there a best role-player in NS? Damned if I know, even my favorite role-players (who I know are better then me, I may be arrogant as fuck but I know I'm hardly the best around here) have different strengths which cannot really be compared to one another. Ulimately this thread is kinda just a pointless way of flattering a small number of players when there are many who are getting better... and in my opinion I would rather celebrate those who are improving then those who are the best. Those who are the best are celebrated by their excellent RP and the fun they have.

Thanks Sarzonia. Although my English teacher has nothing to do with it. In addition to other things she took 10 points off of a friend's essay for forgetting the title, date and class, and then 20 points off of my essay for forgetting a title.

I haven't had that happen to me at uni, let alone high school.

I was guessing that the two of you were encouraged to develop your writing skills because your families and teachers could spot your talents. That's what happened to me throughout my school years. Of course, I also got the kind of English teachers who would make me rewrite a "C" paper because I could do better.

Only one teacher ever recognized my talents, and that was when I tried in school so I never had that happen to me. I wrote like 4 books, They were pretty bad, and then GE introduced me to NS. And thanks to NS my writing and typing ability has improved alot, practice makes better.

Uh... Let me see...

Automagfreek, Pantera, and Steel Butterfly definitely deserve to be mentioned.

In the field of "fantasy," Kain Irenicus aka Reformed Velmora deserves a big mention as a very, very good writer/RPer.

OoC: To be honest, I'd regard noone on these lists as the "best RPers", with the possible exception of AMF. I'd regard most of them as good RPers but nowhere near the best, sorry, it's just that upper classes in NS win my vote.

(OOC: When it comes to humor, Roach-Busters and Fodmodmadtol are the best. And me of course, but that would be egotistical of me no? :P)
