ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE KONINGRAD PEOPLES' LIBERATION ARMY
------------------------------------------------------------------

The Koningrad People's Liberation Army (KPLA or KV) demands the immediate surrender of the claimed territory of Schlewswig-Holstein and Hamburg by the state of Truitt or it shall face immediate action against its population until such times as the territory is surrendered.

Two weeks shall be given for Truitt to comply with our demands before we shall commence operations in its territories.

Demands of the KPLA:

1. Immediate surrender of the territories of Schleswig-Holstein.

2. Union with Koningrad for the surrendered territories.

3. Forming of 20KM demilitarized buffer between Koningrand and Truitt.

Any Earth III nation wishing to provide financial or material support to the KPLA should do so by posting in this thread

RULING COUNCIL CONDEMNS KPLA THREATS
------------------------------------------

Ruling Council Chair Marcus Hollbergen has condemned the recent announcement by the KPLA terrorist organisation, threatening to carry out attacks on the state of Truitt should it fail to recognise Koningrad's claims on the territories of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein.

Speaking at a press conference, Hollbergen said that the was deeply concerned by this recent development and that Koningrad's police service would be taking measures to try and curb any possible future activities by the KPLA.

"Although we might believe in their aims, we do not condone their methods." , said Hollbergenn, "Instead we call on the government of Truitt to work with us in finding a solution to this problem. The people of this region are seeking a new direction and they cannot find it because of the continued ignorance of those in power in Truitt. Despite this, we in Koningrad do believe that one day our nation will be united."

No response has been noted from the Truitt government yet.

Statement From the Risban Empire
The Grand Imperium of Risban condemns the threats made by the KPLA. The Imperial Leadership and Parliament have both expressed anger of the orders made against Truitt. Risban will pledge any support to Truitt to counter the threats from this terrorist organization.

OOC: From now on all messages KPLA will be posted under this name, with all Koningrad diplomatic messages and newspaper and intelligence reports going under the Koningrad name. In keeping with Risban's Irish liberation theme, the KPLA will have an official party presence in Koningrad, Die Tieflandpartei or Lowland Party. It shall act in a similar manner to Sinn Fein with regards to the IRA and will more than likely be outlawed in Koningrad in the near future.

Die Teiflandpartei calls on the government of Koningrad to turn away from its policy of appeasement towards Truitt and instead provide support to those lowlanders currently living under the rule of an empire they can no longer stomach.

OOC: Well please remember that the Koningrad government has condemned the KPLA, so its really the terrorist organistation that you should have beef with... In context, the UK government never declared war on the Irish Republic because of IRA actions did it???

Also, Koningrad is set to enter a treaty with Praetoria as well..

Cutting from Vestergade Evening News 15/03/05

Raid on suspected KPLA flat. Suspects arrested.

Koningrad Special Police this morning raided a suspected terrorist flat in the Vestergade at 6am this morning following an anonymous tip off. Several officers from the Staatpolizei's K2 division were involved in the raid, which was met with only light resistance. Two men were arrested in connection with suspected KPLA activities.

The suspects have been taken to the K2 division's headquarters in List for questioning. A search of the address is currently taking place, though Volkspolizei offiicals have already hinted that there was little in the flat of note.

Ruling Council Chair Marcus Hollbergen praised police efforts against the KPLA and pledged increased funding to the force in the fight against terrorism.

Reporter: Yes, Johan, I am standing here on Hahnenstrasse in Koln and a car bomb has gone off about half an hour ago. Security services in the city have sealed the area off and we are as yet not sure if there are any casualties. The KPLA had alluded to bombing Koln in their recent coded message to a Koningrad newspaper and it appears that they have stuck to their word.

Studio: And has there been any announcement from Truitt authorities yet?

Reporter: None yet. I think that the shock of the bombing will be felt for some time though and we shall soon know what the repercussions of this attrocity are.

Studio: And has the KPLA actually claimed responsibility for this yet?

Reporter: No. No-one has actually said they did this yet. Though sources close to the KPLA have suggested that this is in fact the start of their campaign to force Truitt to cede the disputed territories and that future actions could be a lot more significant.

Studio: Thank you Karl. We will of course keep you notified of any developments if and when they happen.

Statement from KPLA Military Council


The KPLA will take this opportunity to announce the start of its military campaign against the empire of Truitt, which it considers an oppressor of the lowlands. We warn that future attacks will be of far greater scale and will inflict greater casualties upon its people and institutions.

We therefore call for independence to be granted immediately to the regions of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein. Should this demand be met, we shall dissolve our military branch and dedicate ourselves to ensuring peace for the region. Should it not be met, we shall fight to the last for the freedom of the Lowland people!

THE LOWLANDS SHALL BE UNITED!!

The Grand Imperium of Risban deplores the hostile actions taken by the KPLA. Thus, Parliament will be signing a declaration of war against the KPLA. If hostilities continue, the Risbanian navy will mobilize and blockade your little stretch of land.

OOC: War wasn't declared on Koningrad. ;) However, Risban did insinuate that, should the KPLA continue to gather strength and continue with attacks on Truitt, Koningrad would most likely suffer a wee bit, concerning the blockade.

Truitt has no right to threathen Koningrad, its not the one at fault here. The KPLA is fighting a war of national liberation to unify Koningrad of its own accord, and is as much a threat to the stability of Koningrad as it is Truitt's. Your mutual co-operation is required. Terrorism in Europe is a menace to us all. Especially worrying is the idea that several thousand tonnes of weapons have ... 'gone' missing from Hrstrovokian stores during the Slovenian War and may possibly be in the hands of the KPLA. I have no idea how that happened.

The Commonwealth is greatly disturbed by the rise of terrorism in Europe, especially in times of such instability.

We also do not believe Koningrad should be made to suffer from anti-terrorist actions against the KPLA and we second Hrstrovokia's call to work together on this matter.

OOC: I do multiearth, but I act as each one is in a seperate world than the next. So, say I have a massive war on Earth VI (which is happening right now), that does not effect anything in Earth III or in normal NS. Like on E6 I got my Presidente out of office for a more right-winged guy, yet on here, I still have Jewitt as Presidente.
Also, it is disporportionate to original claims, when you make one to get started. I have worked on expanding my empire, and actually, might lead Europe is a deal can be made for China. I have replied a TG to you in some detail on this.

The Osean Rule wishes to note that yes, the terrorist organization is abuzz, but the state may have some ties that they are refusing. This, although we shall not act now, may make desicions change in the Oseat Council and Presidentel Council.

However, the said areas of Germany are available for governing of Set Douvier-ranking and your own people may settle and be void of German-Austrian State Laws, but must follow Federal Laws.
