Months of planning and preparation were about to pay off. Sevaris was going to add more countries to her small empire- this time, Kenya and Uganda were going to be on the recieving end of the Sevarisian war machine.

0500 HRS- OFF THE KENYAN COAST

The Sevarisian 6th Fleet had been dispatched to the area to provide fire support for the invasion. It also had the duty of transporting the 75,000 man expeditionary force to the area. At precisely 5:00, the bombardment began, shelling whatever makeshift defences the Kenyans had erected.

0545 HRS- THE LANDINGS OCCUR

The 75,000 men of the Sevarisian Expeditionary Force finally landed on Kenyan soil. They were very eager indeed to finally arrive at their targets, and ruthlessly punched through any Kenyan opposition. They then split up to take the three main targets: Lamu, Mombasa, and Malindi. They were to hold until reinforcements from Sevaris herself arrive. They were also ordered to hold up any Kenyan forces from moving to Nairobi, where a vitally important operation was taking place...

0600: FROM THE SKIES

It was a quiet, sun-filled morning in Nairobi. People were going about their business like any other day, just trying to survive. Many of them on the streets looked up to the sky in horror when they saw floods of Sevarisian C-130s and A400Ms flying above, paratroopers jumping out. They had good reason to fear as well, as it was the 20th Airborne Division. The men of the 20th floated down to the ground, and immediately began taking up strong points in the city. Resistance was fierce, but the 20th was getting along. They hoped the reinforcements would come.

OOC: Yes, I know it says invasion of Uganda as well- but, we can't invade Uganda until we get a stronghold in southern Kenya- so, just wait, it'll come.

The war was going well. Malindi and Lamu had fallen within six hours, despite fierce Kenyan resistance. Already, reinforcments were landing there to support the Sevarisian effort. The front into Mombasa had been stalled, though, but an artillery barrage had been ordered, and, hopefully, would crack the remaining resistance.

In Nairobi, the situation was deteriorating rapidly. The 12th Airborne had arrived to relieve the 20th, but, they had gotten dropped far outside the city, and would take some time to get there. The 12th held out, though, concentrating themselves in the commerical districts.

Nairobi was still hell on earth. The 12th had finally linked up with the 20th, and they were systematically eliminating remaining elements of the Kenyan forces, also trying to root out the irregulars that had taken shelter in the city.

Meanwhile, the war in Uganda had finally begun in earnest- the 30th Armoured Division crossed the border with Uganda at around dawn, racing to secure Kampala. The 9th Infantry followed behind, securing what towns the 30th had forgotten on its race to Kampala.
