"RAZ, DVA, TRI, SHAGOM MARSH!!!" (one, two, three, move!!)
Commander Rostov was more loud then usual today, that could only mean one thing there was a inspection issued on quick notice. The soldiers woke up in their barracks as usual, put on their uniforms and reported to the assembly building for the daily meeting. These meetings were nothing more then a chance for the commanding officer to show off to every non-officer, just how much that non-officer owes to that officer. Where was one thing soldiers were never allowed to forget, on a Pushkan military base, your commander is your God, your father, your mother, and a man who leads you in battle.
The barracks were placed in a column, where was a total of eight, stationing 8 rotas, 100 men each. Among the most elite ones where were a "Cherti" rota, "Shaiga" rota, "Kabani" rota, and "Pchela" rota. They were always the first ones to arrive at the assembly, they had cleanest uniforms and most medals. Other soldiers were jealous of them, but that didn't take anything away from the respect they had for those men.
Sasha Antonov woke up to the lovely sound of Commander Rostov's yelling. Last night Sasha dreamed about his last day at home, before he was drafted into the army.
He got up, pulled some pants on, straightened out his uniform, scratched his ass and walked out of his barracks. First thing he saw then he walked out of a metal colored building with a huge number 7 painted in white above the front door, was the sun. He enjoyed it, he and thousands of other recruits were shipped from snowy Syberia to sunny Califonia, under the 3rd article of treatment of newly accuired territories. At least thats what the big, red book told him.
He just stood in the sun for a little bit, enjoying that moment of peace and quite, before he was woken up from his daydreaming by yet another inspiring speech from Comrade Rostov. The message was strong and clear, if most merciful Comrade Rostov ever caught a recruit trying to by pass the daily meeting, he would personally and with a lot of pleasure, cut off that recruit's balls off and let his dog it them.
As a recruit who realized his mistake, Antonov with feeling of outermost redemption, decided to follow his commanders orders and procceeded to the assembly building.
