Days ago, President Sutton authorized the expansion of Credonian military forces to increase its military power and deterrent in defense of the nation and its allies. He has decided to triple the size of the current navy by adding all new naval vessels to the current arsenal, however, Credonia fails to specialize in naval design, thus calling for the need to give contracts out to nations/companies who design and sell naval vessels.

At this time, Credonia is looking for naval vesels ranging from Heavy nuclear aircraft carriers to destroyers, to destroyers, to SSBN's. If your nation would like to take up a contract, please state what you are selling as well as pictures, prices, and statistics of the naval vessels and we will select what we need. Toledo class Nuclear Attack Submarine

The Toledo SSN has a wholly titanium frame, ensuring a radical crush depth of three kilometers, and making it extremely strong – it could most likely take two or three Mk48 ADCAP torpedoes. The titanium frame is covered by anechoic tiles, which is basically a rubbery substance which absorbes outside noise, such as (specifically) active sonar sound waves (pings) – although a destroyer, or sonobouy, could cath it within six hundred to ten thousand meters, depending on the strength of the sonar system. Anachoic tiling can also be known as “gaucho.”

As a sonar system the Toledo uses a variant of the Poseidon SONAR, named after the Greek God of the Sea. The Poseidon has a very well built passive side, which uses hundred of hydrophones, nanometers in size, which listen acutely for sounds. Crew are especially tuned into the noise of doors opening (outer torpedo doors). The active sonar is also marble, but rarely used. The Poseidon for the submarines was mainly designed to detect surface shipping, which was extremely noisy, and allowed the SSNs to make precision raids on enemy shipping. The Toledo, for other passive uses, also has a TB-23 thin line towed array which reels out of the main ballast tank, as well as a shorter TB-16 towed array. The Toledo makes use of a dual LIDAR system – normal LIDAR, and Doppler LIDAR. The normal LIDAR detects vector and rage of a target by using a laser, coming from a four and a half million watt system (6,000 horsepower), giving it an immense range. The Doppler LIDAR uses the same type of laser to detect velocity of the target. Consequently, LIDAR not only finds vector and range, but velocity, allowing faster updating for the submarine’s supercomputers on the moving target.

The beauty has eight forward 500mm torpedo tubes, capable of firing MT-1s, MT-2s, as well as the newer MT-3s. For anti-torpedo uses the tubes can fire MAT-1s. The Toledo also carriers Principe IIIs, a missile launched torpedo, designed for surface shipping. These are fired from a single quadruple storage vertical launch system, which fire, then rotate, then fire. To fire all four slots it takes about thirty seconds. The vertical launch tubes are re-loaded through a hydrolic load process, doing it quickly and efficiently.

For anti-torpedo defenses the Toledo uses an underwater CIWS system based off those captured from salvaged Orcas, created by New Empire. However, they are slightly upgraded. Tight oxygen packages which need to be replaced by experts, doing it mechanically, allow a MetalStorm gun to lock on torpedoes by using onboard LIDAR and SONAR systems. Consequently, torpedoes are blown out of the water. This makes the Toledo a tough nut to crack.

For propulsion the Toledo uses a nuclear reactor with a single screw in the rear. However, it also makes use of MHD propulsion, mostly when in battle, to get rid of cavitation, and thus make the submarine much more quiet. Ways are still being figured out of how to get rid of the black hole created by MHD on enemy sonar, and we are currently investing in the captured Orcas to unlock this secret.

TYPE 62, DAUNTLESS CLASS DESTROYER, GUIDED MISSILE, MINESWEEPER, MINELAYER, HELICOPTER CAPABLE

Overview
The Type 62 is a destroyer for all round purposes, including anti-submarine warfare, anti-mine warfare, shore bombardment, anti-air warfare, and anti surface warfare. The Type 62 possess significant to small ability to do each of these tasks on it's own or with a task group of similar vessels or support vessels. The Type 62 has sufficient armarment to deal with any threat it may encounter, with the exception of a tactical nuclear strike on it's assigned group.

Weaponry
Firstly, the Type 62's primary shore bombardment weapon is a Westenov 120mm ETC cannon, firing a burst of three rounds every two minutes in a similar system to the United Kingdom's AS80Paladin artillery. Approximately a hundred to a hundred and fifty shells are kept in storage for the Westenov.

Secondly, the Type 62 is equipped with two Bolshevik Class VLS. The Bolshevik Class is the Hogsweatian equivalent of the Mk 41, fitted to all our ships. Holds 72 of the Aster25/45 SAM class, also similar number of missiles comparable to ASROC VLS and around 45 of the Tomohawk missiles, enabling the Type 62 to hit targets underneath water level, above water level, and at water level.

Thirdly, the Type 62 has two sets of eight barrelled [in total] tube launched Patriot Class SSMs. [This is my designation, not comparable to the US Patriot SAM]

For secondary anti submarine work there are four, in total, 12.75" Torpedo Tubes, mounted in side parts for protection.

And lastly, the Type 62 has six 35mm Autocannons for anti aircraft, helicopter, and missile work, each with a firing rate of around 1800 RPM tracked by the WAATS. [Westenov Anti Air Tracking System]

Mine Laying and Countermeasures
From the back of the craft the Type 62 can launch and keep a single PAP 104 Mk5 remote controlled submersibles (RCMDS 2) for anti mine warfare and also for laying mines, although not as effectively as a minelayer.

Systems
The Type 62 uses the Hogsweatian Equivalent of the European PAAMS [Principle Anti Air Missile System] for it's VLS guidance, the Sampson Radar, a multi function radar combined the surveillance and tracking roles.

The Type 62 uses the Type 1050 and Type 1100 Sonar systems for submarine tracking. It incorporates LADAR, LIDAR, and RADAR for it's surveillance.

The Type 62 can hold two rotary aircraft, all of the following type are compatible.

The Credonian navy is a naval force like no other. While it can hold itself superbly in actual naval combat as has been proven many many times in the past, it is more of a land and sea-surface attack force which utilizes as its main armament powerful fighter aircraft and tomahawk missiles to strike targets miles and miles inland. Air power is the central theme of the entire Credonian military and our use of stategies formed around massive air power has proven to be extremely effective for our military. Our navy support our airforce more than it does our ground forces and thats the way we like it.

I hope this description helps you with clues as to what to design/submit for Credonian approval to buy in large numbers.

Credonia hereby retracts its order from the nation of Praetonia, a once close ally to the United States. Reasons for this retraction will not be released as of yet, however, let it be stated for the record that Credonian-Praetonian relations are from this moment forward strained as we are very disappointed with them.

Reply to the Praetonian Government

Credonia could care less if powers of the OMP embargo Credonina produtcs simply because of the fact that we are dissatisfied with the serivces of the Freethinkers and refuse to buy their products. It is well within our nations right to deny them our services, especially for a reason as justifiable as that. What we are disappointed in is the fact that our own ally, a once CLOSE ally would choose to stay loyal to the OMP rather than us. If we were in your nations position, we would certainly stay loyal to your nation and your peoples. Its nothing but a matter of morals and you have shown that you are more loyal to money than you are your very own allies, the same allies that you at one point in time called bretheren.

The Freethinkers is the only military supplier that we refuse to give the luxuary of having our services, however, because of the political repercussions it would have on our allies, your nation included, it was never an official embargo, we simply do not wish to use their services, and establishing an embargo is too powerful of a political message to send for something so minor. Credonia does not regret refusing to ive our services to the Freethinkers and we never will and we do not regret canceling our order from your nation after realizing where your true loyalty really lies. Relations between our two nations are not at the fault of Credonia. They are at the fault of your own government as you have shown to us that you are not as loyal an ally as we had once thought.

Until concessions are made to repair relations, Credonia will not abide by any mutual defense pacts or treaties that are in effect to give aid to your nation in any way, shape, or form.

Remember Credonia, The Astute can be reconfigured to ANY of your specifications and the offer will remain open.

As for the OMP, Credonia was at one time a member, but then we became inactive and Doujin kicked us out and I havent really been back since and i guess now an issue is brewing with the OMP because Credonia refuses to do business with the Freethinkers and they are trying to vote on an embargo to stop member nations from buying and selling products to Credonia, all because we dont want to buy products from Freethinkers.

OOC: Apologies. Allergies have been acting up lately, and FA Cup matches were on this morning. I'm in the process of writing up the acceptance of your offer, though I have some concerns regarding the current turn against the OMP. While a former member myself, I have close ties with several member nations that I've no desire to rupture. I'll finish my official acceptance of your order soon.

OOC: Credonia doesnt hold anything against the OMP. In fact we have no problems with it. There are just a couple nations within that dont like the fact that I wont do business with the Freethinkers..which is why relations with Praetonia are in teh state that they are now. He decided to stick with them instead of stick on my side which is shocking considering the fact that we were, before today, STRONG and very close allies. I have taken steps however, to set up a conference in Credonia City with all of the member nations of the OMP to settle any disputes there may be and try to fix any damaged relations that may have been a result of the past (which i thought was going to stay in the past, btu i guess i must be mistaken). We are appalled at the childish insults emanating from the Credonian government in response to a decision by the Imperial Praetonian Government. We are also disappointed that Credonia would attempt to force the IPG to choose between its allies in the Organisation of Maritime Powers and their own bilateral relationship.

We consider Credonian demands of concessions to be a form of extortion and a veiled threat against Praetonia. As her closest ally, we view any attacks against her, be they military, economic, or otherwise, to be attacks against the Incorporated States of Sarzonia herself. We shall not tolerate any such attacks.

I hereby announce that any Sarzonian citizens, including any embassy or consular staffs in Credonia are to return to Sarzonian territory within 72 hours. In addition, I am announcing that tariffs on imports of Credonian goods to Sarzonia will be tripled effective at the close of business today. In addition, any treaties of alliance, mutual defence pacts, or other similar treaties shall be declared null and void.

In response to the recent unprovoked escalation of economic and diplomatic hostilities between Credonia and several past/current members of the Organization of Maritime Powers, Hamptonshire is forced to take action. The Grand Duchy shall standby her allies against what can only be seen as the needless provocations of the United States of Credonia.

The United States of Credonia have malicious begun to slander the good name of The Freethinkers with baseless allegations. When close friends and allies of Freethinkers have risen to that nation's defense, Credonia has responded with childlike disdain. While we, the Government of Hamptonshire, were willing to discuss the future it has become increasingly apparent that the Government of the United States of Credonia is not open to dialogue or compromise.

Therefore, by Royal Proclamation I have so ordered that all Credonian goods are to be subject to a one thousand percent tariff. Crown Corporations are also forbidden to enter into business relationships or continue relationships with Credonian owned, operated, or controlled organizations. Furthermore I am at this time recalling all Hamptonian diplomatic personnel from Credonian territories. We, the Government of Hamptonshire, also call for the immediate explusion of all Credonian diplomats from Hamptonian soil. Any and all treaties that exist between Credonia and Hamptonshire are to be immediately terminated, any and all treaties that apply to both Credonia and Hamptonshire shall not be acted upon should Credonian officials ask for treaty activation.

My Royal Proclamation shall be rescinded only when Credonian officials have stopped their reckless provocation of Hamptonian allies.

OOC: exactly my reasoning for holding the conference....sorry i hvent beeon on lately. Im actually in the middle of a Model UN conference which is out of town. Luckily i have temporary and BRIEF access to the "business center" computer but not enugh time to make a detailed post. That will come tomorrow afternoon/evening when i get back in town.

Official announcement, Incorporated Sarzonian Government

Any and all Credonian citizens, embassy or consular staff in Sarzonian territory are hereby given 48 NS hours [IRL by tomorrow at 10 pm EST] notice to depart the country or any of its colonial territories. There are no exceptions to this rule. We will arrange to have all citizens returned to Credonian soil, whether by Sarzonian airline or by military transport.

Failure to vacate Sarzonian territory by this deadline shall result in any Credonian citizens being detained and imprisoned until transportation can be arranged for them to depart Sarzonia. In addition, the two delegates to the conference between Credonia and the Organisation of Maritime Powers are to return to Sarzonia immediately.

In addition, we announce that any trade agreements with Credonia are revoked and all Credonian-made products that have been imported after today's date shall be considered contraban. Sarzonian companies are also instructed to place Credonia on their black lists and are strictly prohibited from conducting business with Credonia or any of her territories.
