1)No Nuclear warheads in the Embassy!

After watching the birth and subsequent growth of your fine nation, Pacitalia would be more than happy to exchange embassies with the people of Tree Hugging Lesbians. Let this be a step towards further friendship between our two nations. And may I add that Pacitalia is a gay-friendly vacation destination mostly within the Tropic of Cancer, and citizens of THL are more than welcome to visit anytime they like.

After the legalisation of Same Sex Unions and Gay Rights have been effective, the State Department of the Federal Republic of Canada wishes to establish peaceful relations with the Queendom of the Tree Hugging Lesbians to establish a peaceful force to bring such legislation to other nations across the world.

Although the Commonwealth does not officially recognize homosexual marriages or gay rights, we would still like to open diplomatic relations with your nations as there is surely much our peoples can learn from one another.

The Commonwealth, while a socially liberal nation, has itself had several deadlocked votes that have not succeeded in either banning or permitting marriage or equal rights. However, Prime Minister Tetley currently plans on developing such issues into part of his upcoming campaign platform.

Should you choose to establish relations, an exchange of embassies could be arranged providing you with a colonial-era mansion with a rather scenic view of the island of New Britain. The embassy itself is the sovereign soil of your nation with only light restrictions on the number of defence forces and vehicles; 35 soldiers and 5 armoured civilian vehicles.

Sincerely
Ivan Valovich
Minister of Foreign Affairs

The Protectorate of Policia Muerta, in an effort to broaden global horizons and maintain friendly off-shore contacts, wishes to extend a delegation of embassy officials to take the Queendom of Tree Hugging Lesbians up on their offer.

The staff shall consists of no more than one Ambassador, one Consulate, and a small security force of no more than two hundred and fifty military police officers, along with an inconsequential number of clerical staff.

In return, we gladly offer land for development in Policia Muerta for your embassy to build a permanent building and join in our celebration of freedom and liberty.

A small cargo plane is approaching your nation. That is our drop-down embassy. We have an embassy lot for you in our capital city of Hassdra. However, we highly recommend that you bring along filtered air, and do not try to agitate our religion, as that usually ends in violence.

To: Queendom of Tree Hugging Lesbians
From: Director Suse Randall, Department of External Contacts and Affairs, Cadillac Gage

RE: Embassy Exchange programme.

After discussions with President Halvorssen, and careful sorting and recruitment, We are prepared to send an Embassy to your Nation, and host an Embassy from your Nation. We can offer significant well-drained acreage near the Detrojtja Airport and ask only that your staff not exceed 500 total personnel (Including military and guards).
We would like to send a 'full staff' of 80 personnel (44 infantrymen to serve as embassy guards, three pilots, and diplomatic staff). We only require two acres with a corridor for helicopter flights to and from your airport, and a three-story brownstone with a sturdy fence around the property.*

Is this acceptable?

[OOC: Cadillac-Gage's consular staffs rarely number more than a few dozen people, and most often number fewer diplomats and dependents combined than guards. External Contacts is their version of both a State Department, and CIA-they don't do much spying, obviously. It's hard to get people to go overseas who are even remotely qualified...)

[*after incidents in Nellisland last year, it was decided that a simple wire-and-wrought-iron fence isn't quite sturdy enough-mobs of refugees fleeing the abortive 'Alaidos' takeover nearly demolished the Nellisland Consulate before order was restored. 'Sturdy fence' is a rock wall about six feet high, topped with glass.]
