What is the Coalition of Superpowers?
Just a coalition that has a group of superpower countries.

Are you a aggressive coalition, or a defending coalition?
Neither. We come into conflicts that involve each other's problem. But if things may get out of hand, we could possibly come in.

What is the reason of the coalition?
Our reason is to combine relations with Superpower countries and prevent them to go battling each other. We are mainly supporting each other's cause and problems.

Actually countries that are over 1.2 billion population has the right to have 20 million soldiers. If you have a problem with this, then dont look at this thread.

Having a huge army doesnt make you a super-power. A professional army (1-3 Million) could Decimate A 20 Million man army.

Yes and this is why I had 7 million fiercely trained soldiers. Now I'm starting a 3 trillion dollar army expansion to 34 million soldiers.

Interestingly enough - I see this coalition of "Superpowers" but there are none of the famous names on it; Melkor Unchained, Automagfreek, Pantera, The Macabees. Some of the most famous military powers ever heard of. I see little point of making a Coalition of Superpowers because as of present this alliance contains, and according to your rules will never contain any of the above mentioned or for that matter anyone particularly "powerful". I would suggest you change your name to the Coalition of Powers - SuperPowers is just going to get laughed at.
Secondly, your knowledge of international incidents is far too low for yourself to be a "superpower". Imagining that any nation above 1.2 billion population - without mention of economic prowess, can have a military of 20 million is just entirely stupid. While nearly all of this forum's roleplayers are on islands, or small continents with their close allies, an army of "20 million" is uneeded. If I could pick two people by my side I know I could easily take out this entire alliance - maybe it would be difficult with Credonia or Xeraph but if anyone in this alliance has the stupidity to have 20 million soldiers, or even 7 million hard armed and trained soldiers then they must have no idea of tactics or logistics, or anything of that matter.

There is no clearly defined border, but none of these are particularly powerful alone.

I fail to see any reason for the formation of this Coalition.

As other have said, only great nations such as Menelmacar or ICEL can be considered Superpowers. Even then, today's gepolitical balances rest in the hands of major alliances of very powerful nations. Metus, for instance, is a powerful force; it is well respected because several of its members have influence and name recognition.

In summary, the large alliances have become the 'true' global forces, and those that are inextricably associated with those alliances (Melkor, Menelmacar, AMF, etc.) are considered 'superpowers'.

I wouldn't call any nation with a pop of just 1.2 billion a 'superpower' I'd say a nation with 3000+ posts, 3.5billion pop and army of 2 million+ could be counted as a superpower. Any larers than 5 million in your army and your being foolish, no one needs that sort of armed power.

I have an Army of 3 million highly trained professinal soildiers, all with 5 years advance training as well as 1 year basic training, all are under 40 and are mainly experianced. You don't need any more than that. My army would doubtless slaughter one of your 20 million man (1.2 billion pop) army's as there is no way you could sufficently arm them with your econermys. It's impossable. You'd collapse your econermy with 5% of your pop. in the army.

Hell, even if you add my conscripts in I only have around 2% of my nation in the army, and there basicly doing university work.

Can I just ask how post count affects it? Because according to that diagnostic, Bob-Bob, your ally, is not a super power.

Post-count is a good representation of how well known you are on NS (ie how many allies you have) and also how good you are at RPing. It doesn't always work like this, although Bob-Bob is a bad example as if you add the posts from his other accounts (Unified Sith, Imperial Brits, SPARTEN etc) then you have a total of several thousand.

Post count doesn't mean anything, NS isn't the only place you can rp maybe they rped elsewere. Pop and army size are factors but the biggest is skill, a 1.2bill nation can and will defeat a 2bill nation if hes good.

Yes maybe they did, but generally it is not the case, and so in most cases someone with a larger post count and therefore more experience of NS warfare will do better than someone with a lower post count. Once you reach a thousand or two of II posts, it no longer matters.

In my own expierence I've been rping in Macabees W@W series for a year and just started NS, but your right in most cases thats not true but I know plenty of great rpers that have a lower NS count than me. Though of course having two thousand posts here certanly doesn't hurt you at all.

I'm generaliseing here of course, theres some great Rpers with low post counts, and some Carp RPers with high postcounts (TFU anyone) but mostly by the time you hit 2000 posts you'll be a quality RPer

I think post count is largely irrelevant, but it can be a guide.

In my case my other nation has a few thousand posts here. I would consider Trostia a potential superpower, but I haven't RP'd yet in II. I guess that part does come first... :D

OoC: I'd like to express my interest in this alliance but I may be a bit odd when it comes to "an experienced" military - my army is made up of conscripts for the most part, equipped with 50's-60's British technology with a dash of soviet now and again. When it comes to the navy, think 1984, air force, think MIG-21's and other outdated planes. But, I do have a small, very elite arm of the military named the Ordos Fedor which are essentially very well equipped fanatics with elite training, they are completely and utterly loyal to the leader of Kriegorgrad; "Comrade Leader Nikolai Fedorenkov", as he embodies nothing short of God. He is Kriegorgrad's god as all other religions are banned.

However, my military has been in a few scraps, sadly, all the scraps from the previous monarchic regime don't really count so one could say I've only been in one conflict which was with Hogsweat over some territory, the RP was called Blood and Mud (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=393477&page=1&pp=15), the bog standard military is very outdated but the Ordos Fedor is an extremely modern fighting force.
