Kampfersein erupts into Civil War (1938 Tech)

Kampfersein
11-03-2005, 01:01
Civilians ran for cover, as bombs begun falling everywhere around the Capital. Kampfersein erupted into Civil War, after Democraticly Elected Leaders, were assassinated late March 9th, as a Coup Da Ta by the Kampferseinian Military.

The Military was under command of Supream General Ilwin Von Resindorf. Resindorf, claimed to be bringing a new age into the country of Kampfersin. Kampfersein, is located in the land mass of the Reich, an Area known for the Reich Alliance of Verstummelung and Witzgall. Resindorf's forces appeared to be greatly backed, by airplanes loaned from the Reich Military. Me-109's and Ju-87's Stuka Dive Bombers, made up much of the devistation. Resindorf's army comprised of 30,000 troops. Mostly armed with surplus materials from the Reich's war against Christianity nearly 20 years ago........

Democratic Forces fled into the countryside, poorly armed and with only Bi-planes and slow moving armored cars to put up a fight.
------------------------------------------------------

Kampfersein East Countryside, Gulf of Auctun.

Whilst Resindorf controled the Army, Acting Supream General Armen Daust Controled the Out of Date airforce, and mildly effective Navy. The country had an "all volenteer" defence force and such, to country any invasions the Reich would make. Yet as relations with the Reich improved, the need for an army somewhat decreased. The Navy was made up of Cruisers, and Destroyers. And dozens of armored patrol boats and surplus U-boats from the previous war. Already it appeared the Democratic Forces were dubbed to lose.....because here came Resindorf's aircore.

A wave of nearly two Dozen Stuka's and 10 Me-109's appeared over the skies of one of the few Democraticly controled Bases. The Base consisted of light anti-aircraft guns, a few artillery cannons, most if not all of the Kampfersein navy, and a Garrison of nearly 1200 troops.

The Stukas were painted black and red, with a skull with a pair of rockets forming an X. They came with either a 500kg bomb or a pair of 37mm cannon. The Me-109's however, came with the pair of 7.92mm machineguns, and a 20mm cannon in the nose. They provided fighter cover for the Stukas.

The day was calm, and already people on the ground were running for cover. They had known the deadly effective fighting power of the Stuka, and they were not about to be caught with their pant's down. Browning .30 caliber machineguns begun to fill the skies with rounds, as the first Stuka came in.

The Pilot adjusted his M40 armored helmet and his gogles. He pushed the flightstick forward and the Stuka took a sharp 90 degree dive. The engine begun to spin faster, as the deadly roaring sound the Stuka made as she dove to the earth. The 12 cylinder radial engine spun the blades as quick as possible, the nose cone painted in a black and white sprial. The Stuka made the sound of death, as she came over a Mess Hall. She dropped her 500kg bomb, and the dive break pulled the plane out of the dive and back to safty. As the plane turned away from the base, the rear gunner fired his MG-34 mounted on the rear of the plane. This sprayed rounds into the chest's, head's and leg's of people in a panic on the ground. As the Stuka's deadly 500kg bomb impacted the Mess Hall it was intended for, and ripped the roof open sending fire and sheet metal everywhere.

By now, the base was on alert. But it would be next to impossible to mount an effective defense. A pair of Me-109's sped into the harbor. Their 20mm cannon bounced off the armor of the ships, but reduced the wooden patrol boats and the decks of the outdated U-boats to shreads. A group of three Stukas dove in, this time above the Light Cruiser, Ferdlind. The sound of their engines roaring.....they all released their bomb's in unisin. And turned out of the dive, the whistling of their bombs was peaceful, yet they impacted in the same area, casuing the Light Cruiser to be set ablaze, knocking her electrical system's out and making her a floating inferno. Other Stukas didn't bother to dive bomb, with their 37mm cannon, they flew straight and easy in strafing runs. Their cannon shells tore apart the wooden buildings, and pierced the light armored cars. Tearing throu things like tissue paper. Yet as a Stuka begun to pull away, a Olympia bi-plane came in from behind quickly, and tore the Stuka out of the sky. Four more Olympias would join the fight. Dropping Stukas quickly. Yet they caught the attention of the Messerschmitts. Three planes had broken the formation to provide escort for the Bombers.

"Their Bi-planes, Olympia types. Not much of a threat, but their deadly if they get behind you. Your plane wont last long under a direct assault from those .303 machineguns. Bring them in close, and shred them with the 20mm cannon!" The lead pilot cut the radio. The five Olympias knew that trouble was coming as a 20mm shell exploded by the lead plane leaving small holes in his fabric wing. The scattered trying to evade, the furthermost plane on the left was caught from behind by a spread of 20mm shells, the engine took most of the damage. It cut as the plane begun to spin out, the Messerschmitt pilot finished the pilot with 7.92mm rounds as he sped on by to the wingman.

The lead Olympia did a barrel roll and dove into an inside loop in attempts to evade the Me-109. The plane could do this easily, because thats what the Olympia was designed to do. Yet the Messerschmitt turned itself upside down, and quickly came into the inside loop, righting itself quickly. As the Olympia righted itself and pulled out of the dive, it came into a hail of 7.92mm rounds, torn to pieces, the pilot took a spray, his body was filled with rounds as a cloud of blood spread onto the ground. The plane begun to smoke, and spun out of control, crashing into a farm house.

"These Messerschmitts are really tearing us up! We have no chance of beating them like this!" Three Olympias remained, they all agreed to end the engagment, leaving the base with no aircover, and to be decimated by the Facist's airforces.....

(OOC: Yeah its open. Keep in mind, this is like the Spainish Civil War, yet Germany was helping one side, and training its own army for an upcoming war. Thats what I'm doing.)

(OOC: Anyone can enter, but do note if you do enter this conflict You will be risking war with the Reich (Witzgall and Verstummelung.) Jagada, you can enter. The war would have been like 20 years ago so I'm assuming you could against us again. Its 1938 Tech, so only things made before our during that year may be used. Please limit the OOC, jump in if you wish. But do an OOC statement on which side you are joining, what you're going to commit. This is 1938 TECH and please no 2 line posts, be descriptive and thoughtful, or you're gonna get your ass kicked. And be serious, please.)

It was forbiddion, but Reich pilot's had entered the war under the guise as mercenarys. They trained the poorly equipped Resindorf's Airforce. Pilots who knew hardly anything about air combat quickly became crack fighter aces. The war in the skies were proving to quickly go against the Democratic forces.

Resindorf had asked the Reich, to help him win this civil war. Thus in return he would bring Kampfersein into the Reich and would strenghten the Reich. Some 400 million citizens.....the Reich could hardly refuse such a tempting offer.

As the days went on, the Resindorf forces strengthend. Me109s filled the skies, and Ju87s helped Resindorf's reign of terror.
-----------------------------------------------------

Above the southern skies.
March 11th 1938 - 3.00pm

Kampfersein was in the landmass of the reich, and was located in the Gulf of Auctun, making her neighboring to Verstummelung. She was in the southern region, making the country usally a war place to be. The skies were clear, it was a beautifal day.

The peaceful existant of the day broke. A formation of He111 Bombers flew overhead. They were painted painted black and green. Their propeller cones were painted in a black and white spiral, which made them...remarkable to look at. Sharply above them, were atleast 8 Messerschmitt Bf 110s, and 12 Messerschmitt Bf 109E types. The E type had just begun to appear, in small numbers ofcorse. The Reich had a huge aircraft industry, so thus they had the means to tinker with designs.

The Formation was set to bomb one of Kampfersein's southern cities, the city of Fasenburg. They had expected little to no resistance. The Democratic Airforces were composed of obsolete bi-planes. The air defences were nothing more than single barreled 20mm cannon, that could hardly more than 200 rounds per minute.

"Black Leader to Black Squadron. We are apporaching the target, keep an eye out for enemy fighters. Do not speak German, enemy forces may be listening in on our communications..." The Verstummelung pilots flew missions from time to time, this was one of them.....

The He111's were in a nice tight formation, each armed with three 7.92mm machineguns....for a tight defense. They do not expect any opposition though.

(anyone's welcome to jump them....)

Dirt Airfield
20 miles west of the town of Oberkisin.

The Oberkisin town, had become the biggest battleground in the whole war. Resindorf's forces had taken one half of the town, the other half, was seperated from Resindorf's by a long river. A river which practicly cut the country in half. And Oberkisin was one of the few places, a bridge strong enough to allow tanks to cross was. With the Civil War in full swing, and the initial shock of it all now passed, the remninents of the Democratic Government and a good portion of the Civilian Population, formed "The People's Army Against Facism." The PAAF, was mainly a militia style army, hastily created to combat Resindorf's imposing juggernaught. Their average soldier, usally came with a hunting rifle, or a bolt action 98k Mauser. They wore civilian clothing, and attacked with hit and run raids mostly ineffective.

Oberkisin, was filled with soldiers from both sides. If the bridge was taken, Resindorf could end the war in months. This was the turning point, this could make or break the country's democratic rule. The bridge itself streatched nearly a good 200 feet long. And the river itself had a thundering current, which would make any makeshift bridge's impossible to use.

Infantry platoons, and panzer groups had filled the one half of the city under Resindorf rule. Panzer III tanks were lined up on the bank's of their side of the river. They ranged from various types, from infantry support (20mm rapid fire cannon,) all the way to a 75mm KwK 40 L/48 gun. The infantry support, came with Machine Pistol 40s, and Mauser 98ks.

Across the bridge, were a series of apartment buildings. Filled to the brim with machinegunners and snipers. As one soldier would attempt to cross the bridge, they could expect a 7.62 x 54 round to go stright through their head.

The fighting had gotten to a point, you couldn't take a piss in the town without worrying you were going to get shot in the head...the war was bogged down.

Two months ago, A hotel on the turnpike, near Oberskin

Clara looked in the mirror of the small hotel room. Behind her lay a lieutenant of the Resindorf military. Holm, was it? she wondered as she applied lipstick to her pursed lips. Holm was completely unconscious a small cigarrette between his lips. The famous spy's cigarette, treated with enough opium to knock out a moose She tucked the military documents inside her blouse and walked into the closet and pulled out a small briefcase. She opened it revealing a microphone with headphones and a fresh roll of iron oxide film. She activated the device and spoke in a hurried whisper. It took only half a bottle of scotch and he wouldn't shut up. she thought. She pulled out a small camera and took a quick snapshot and then gingerly moved his hand so the cigarrette touched the drapes. She tucked the iron oxide film into her blouse and kissed the unconscious soldier on the forehead. Soon, the cigarrette ignited the drapes, and she began to count. 3...4...5 The fire spread onto the carpet. She took to the door 7...8...9... and she screamed "FIRE!" Soon, the hotel patrons were screaming and people were rushing out the door. The crowd drawn gave her the opportunity to slip away unnoticed. She moved quietly to the river, and in a small bush was a crate padded with foam. She loaded the documents and the film into it and sealed. She set the timer next to the light and radio beacon and unceremoniously tossed it into the river.

Esmund, Siap, several weeks later

The men walked into the room. Chancellor Johnathan Sears, Major Michael Lombard* and Dr. Augustus Clarke**. Sears spoke first. "Gentlemen, this organization is quite an interesting idea for our nation, but I would like to see actionable results before I commit any more funding."

Lombard spoke first. "Well, we have been monitoring the events in Kampfersein. Flounder..." Lombard smiled as Clarke clenched his teeth upon hearing his college nickname "I mean Dr. Clarke here can explain the details of our findings."
Clarke picked up the papers, still miffed at hearing his nickname, "One of our elements has gained valuable intelligence regarding enemy positions that will allow us to perform strategic operations that might sway the outcome of this war. The enemy strength is as follows..."

The two walked away from the meeting and Clarke slapped Lombard on the back of the head. "You f---ing idiot! Why did you call me that name? We'll lose our funding for sure."

The Next day
The Chancellor smiled brightly. "Gentlemen. I have just signed approval for your next budget. We are going to commence with the operation in Kampfersin. I have decided to call this phase of operations 'Operation Featherfox', for, well, I kind of like the name. Do you gentlemen have a name for your organization?"

The two looked at eachother. "The Siapian Intelligence Network." they said in unison. "Are you mad? SIN? Do you know what kind of PR fiasco that will cause? I think it should be called the Office of Strategic Intelligence. The OSI will aid the military in ground operations. Navy will move to cut off enemy supply lines and our ground forces shall garrison the allied force. Your organization's objective is to provide intelligence on enemy operations and to conduct operations that would put us at an advantage over our foes. Now get to work!"

Four days ago
The first aircraft carrieer made ever made by Siapian shiprights sat in the bay outside Fort Homer. Ensign Pliskin*** sat on the deck of the carrier, RSS EYRENSTRONG proudly displayed on the side of the ship. "A ship with planes? It will never work." He muttered as he watched the Christening ceremony. The champagne bottle broke and Pliskin shrugged. The Siapian fighters were loaded aboard. They were sparsely equipped, with a .20 cal cannon and a 100 kg bomb, or a torpedo or a set of rockets. Two battleships had already taken to the sea, as well as ten thousand infantrymen marching under the banner of the 'Siapian Expeditionary Force". The battleships were accompanied by several frigates and a few dozen PT boats. Two freighters also were sent with food and medical supplies as well as freshly made arms. Street vendors sold bonds to raise funds for the effort in Kampferstein. It wouldn't be long until they arrived...

Pointing, with a long stick, at a red colored area on the coast of Kampfersein Major Norman finished his detailed proposed plan for Operation: Cold Revenge. "That is what I propose gentlemen, and I don't need to remind you that the Highest Minister is backing me on this one."

"You plans seems a little unorthodoxed," stated one of the many grey haired men sitting at a table, no less than ten feet from Norman.

"Unorthodoxed, I agree, though I doubt the enemy will be expecting such a plan. Don't you agree?" said Rear Admiral Manderson. Norman smirked slightly, Manderson was a new age thinker and understood that the ways of the old needed to be pushed aside for a new age of military thinking.

The other men, whom Manderson was speaking to, hesitatly nodded. Norman noted that they had a look, a look where they didn't expect the plan to work. Norman exhaled quietly, he had won his hard fought battle.

"Then you shall be accepting my plan, sirs?" asked Norman.

"Indeed we shall, Major. We'll put you in charge of military operations in Kampfersein," stated the oldest looking of the grey haired men, General Trapper.

Norman felt his whole body ease, he was finally getting put in charge of a major operation. He quickly formalized his stance and saluted the generals, they too stood up in military stance and saluted.

The Frigate Sunfish sailed throught the frigid waters. "Sir!" The Scout on the forward deck shouted. "Sir!" The corporal came running. "What is it?" "I saw a submarine!" "Submarine?" "Yes." "Damn." The corporal ran to the bridge. "Captain." He shouted, breathlessly, "we have a submarine sighting." The Captain made an announcement over the ships PA system for everyone to be on their guard, and then he called the PT boats to step up their guard.
On board the Eyrenstrong, the Captain and two pilots looked at what appeared to be a small transport plane hit with an ugly stick. It had massive propellors and several protruding ends. A mechanic climbed out. "I jes' fixed 'er up. She got sonar buoys and depth charges. I don' know if it could work, but it'd be worth a shot." The Captain gazed uneasily at the contraption. inovation must start somewhere "If the subs get too close to us, we'll fire her up. To your battle stations men!"
The Sunfish stood out across the land, glowing a faint gold in the rising sun. The PT boats zipped across the ocean surf and the freighters began to appear on the horizon next to the Eyrenstrong. Brigadier General Leigh, commander of the Siapian Expeditionary Force paced across the bridge of the Eyrenstrong. "Land was just spotted about half-an hour ago. I am going to join the ground forces and we're going to try to resupply and protect the Democrats' ground forces. The Eyrenstrong will help us take back the skies. We need the Navy to prevent any and all ships from entering the enemy ports. I was just in contact with the homeland and they're committing another frigate group. If any ship comes too close, hail them. If they don't respond, do not hesitate to board and seize the cargo."

INTERNATIONAL DECLARATION: ANY MERCHANT SHIP GOING INTO PORTS CONTROLLED BY THE FACIST FORCES MAY CONSIDER ITS CARGO PROPERTY OF THE SIAPIAN EXPEDITIONARY FORCE. THE AREA SURROUNDING THESE PORTS IS OFFICIALY A SIAPIAN CONTROLLED CHANNEL

"They still have the land channels right?" The Captain asked. "Yes, but we don't want too many more to get involved." The Beneral said.

Several Hours Later
The Freighters, protected by the Frigate Sunfish and several PT boats moved toward the Kampfersein shore. The General stood at the bridge, looking at the countryside. He barked to the communications officer.

Attention Democratic Forces
The Siapian Expeditionary Force has come to aid your fight. We will be able to land in several hours' time. We need to know which port we should use.
We have brought along food and medical supplies, as well as military equipment. Please hail immediately

A message was sent out to Jagada and Siap concerning the conflict over Kampfersein and Verstummelung.

To: The National Governments of Jagada & Siap, accordingly
From: Fuhrer Robert Hur IV
Subject: Civil War in Kampfersein

The Great Eighth Reich recommends that Siap and Jagada pull out of the Civil War and allow it to take its due course. Failure to comply with our request may persuade us into opposition, comrades.

The nation of Kampfersein will become the future, the spawn of the glorious Reich. Let it be known that any hostilities shown against the Reich will be met with full retaliation and an absence of mercy and respect.

I assure you...the actions taken by Verstummelung and Resindorf are for the better, not for the worse. Your actions alone, Jagada and Siap, are causing heads to spin and fall off within the Reich. This displeases us.

We persuade you to reconsider your actions immediately.

Sincerely,
Robert Hur IV
Fuhrer of the Reich

The chatter of sub machine guns shatters the morning stillness in a small, tundra-covered island in the north of the Robotstani archipelago. A cottage burns as a group of about two dozen Robotstani Armed Border Force commandos lead a number of detainees towards awaiting boats.

It would be nothing special if it was just a band of smugglers or whalers being rounded up, but for the first time in ages, political criminals are being apprehended. Identified as Facists, they were apprehended along with a sizeable cache of arms, which in and of itself would not be suspicious but for the presence of MP-18s and other weaponry of foreign origin, deemed beyond the scope of hunting rifles.

Elsewhere in the Robotic archipelago, major military manouvers are underway. Destroyers and PT boats practice covering amphibious elements in simulated attacks against enemy-held islands. Overhead, the newest aircraft operated by the RAF, Hawker Hurricanes, fly strafing runs as the troops go about capturing their assigned objectives. A response to the growing number of facist states, the Robotstani Defense Forces are a somewhat modest collection of equipment and troops geared for defensive warfare in the vast archipelago that makes up Robotstan. While they don't have much power-projection capability, they are deemed capable of thwarting major attacks.

However, in order to undertake actions outside of Robotstan itself, a special force was created. Designed to be rapidly deployable and to appear, even under close scrutiny, as a rather generic band of rebels, this ragtag group had already participated in numerous smaller conflicts, but mostly in an advisory role. Now, there are plans for deploying to Kampfersein in order to aid the pro-democracy forces there.

There was no return hail....only the distictive sound of buzzing radial engines. The submarine that was sighted, had radioed it's headquarters, and already an attack had been formunlated. Resendorf, had a large airforce...and was not afraid to use it. As Siap's spotters were to look to the sky, they would see a large force of Junkers Ju87B Stuka Dive Bombers, and Messerschmitt Bf 109E, Fighter Bombers, towering overhead. On the wings were the mark of Resindrof's airforce, it appeared to be a Jolly Roger, but somewhat different.

20 Junkers Ju87B Stuka Dive Bombers, and 15 Messerschmitt Bf 109E Fighter Bombers. The Junkers planes, came with Two 7.92mm MG 17 machine guns in wings with One 7.92mm MG 17 machine gun in rear cockpit. The all carried a 1,100 lb. (500 kg) armor piercing bomb on between the wings, on the centerline. The Messerschmitt palnes, came with Two 20mm MG/FF mounted in the wings with 60 rounds per gun and Two 7.9mm MG 17 mounted above engine with 1,000 rounds per gun. Some also carried a 500 lb. (250 kg) bomb, between the wings, on the centerline.

It was clear Resindorf wanted to make the invaders feel welcome, and he sure as hell did that. The Stukas quickly sighted the carrier, that was their main objective. Their secondary targets were the battleships and the troop transports, but it was sinking of the carrier which mattered most. "Stuka group, dive onto the carrier. Drop your bomb's on her middledeck, this will snap the ship in half! Once your load is dropped, straif any survivors you see in the water and any troops that make it to land! For the Fuhrur!"

The Stuka leader was at the left edge of the formation. His plane turned sharply and dove onto the carrier. The engine begun to roar, as the Stuka's trademark siren sound blaired, mostly to ensure shock of those below. The Stuka dove in quickly. The pilot lining up the middle of the carrier's deck....."1.....2......Now!" The 1000 lb. armor piercing bomb was released from the Stuka's belly. She rose up quickly and turned away from the fleet. The gunner in the rear cockpit unleashed rounds onto the sailors running around the deck's of the ships. One after another, the Stukas took turns diving onto the carrier.

By now, atleast 7 Stukas would have dive bombed the carrier....perhaps two were lost due to anti aircraft fire? The second formation, of Stukas...changed targets. "Troop transports are our target ground. For Resindorf!" The pilot yelled his battlecry, and the Stuka dove onto the troop transports. Antiaircraft fire must have kicked in by now....it was a tough ride down...but he managed to release his armor piercing bomb over one of the freighters. He had aimed it at it's deck....as the plane came out of it's dive, it's right wing was ripped clean off by anti-aircraft fire. The Stuka spun out of control and crashed into the sea.

The Remaning Stukas each begun to dive and drop their bombs on their respective targets.....

"Black Lead, to fighter ground. Begin your assult on the battleships and their frigate screen. Use 20mm shells to sweep their decks...and release bombs at your descretion. Engage!" The fighters quickly broke ranks and moved to engage the battleships and the frigates protecting the battleships from the Stukas. These fighters came in much faster than the Stukas. They were also very manuverable. They struck the ships with their bombs, and straifed their decks with 20mm shells.....this was quite the attack.

"THIS IS THE BERGEMANN MP-18! ONCE TODAY IS OVER, YOU WILL NOW THIS WEAPON INSIDE AN' OUT! THIS IS THE MAUSER K98! BEFORE TODAY IS OVER, YOU WILL KNOW THIS WEAPON INSIDE AN' OUT! THIS IS THE MP38! BEFORE TODAY IS OVER, YOU WILL KNOWN THIS WEAPON INSIDE AN' OU..."
"I think that's good, seargent."

The burly, welsh-accented NCO looks at the Major with contempt, and then looks back towards the bits of MP-18 that are assembled on the table in front of him.

"WATCH!"

The seargent quickly reassembles the machine-pistol, and examples are brought to everyone in the 30-person 'class.'

"YOU 'AVE THIRTY SECONDS!"

Knowing what is considered facist-bloc weaponry will be important for the mission to Kampfersein, and the hundred-odd members of the exterior operations command to be sent on the assignment plan to be very familiar with their prospective enemy's weaponry. Dressed in standard infantry uniforms, plus their armed border force berets, the commandos practice with the MP-18, MG-34, K98, and MP-38 (of which only a few examples were attainable) on the firing range. It is quite a change from the standard-fare Robotstani arms, such as the M1928 Thompson, the Lee-Enfield .303, and the Bren LMG, but to bring such guns on operations would right away indicate foreign influence, and the exterior operations command is meant to be very secretive.

Men rushed across the decks of the Eyrenstrong, which was now in flames. Planes rushed across the deck, attempting to survive the bombings. The fighters flew overhead, slightly depressed by the sight of the flagship burning. They enjoyed, however, a much greater maneuverability over the other fighters, due to the fact that the bomb payload was smaller and that the bombs were jettisoned almost immediately after take-off. Finnegan Connor commanded the air group. He screamed into his radio, "Tear these motherf***ers to shit! If you're outta ammo, try to clip a wing or a rudder. KILL THEM ALL!" He screamed red-faced as he sprayed an unsuspecting fighter with a hailstorm of lead. The Siapian fighters tore like hornets after the retreating enemy fighters, but the Eyrenstrong, despite the miraculous survival, appeared to be gaining water fast and would have to be towed home. The remaining Siapian fighters watched over the transports, safely guiding them to shore. The Sunfish as well as other frigates were burning and the crew attempted desperately to combat the flames. PT-74, 81, 33, and 47 were reduced to driftwood. The transports unloaded quickly at the nearest shores, hoping to rendezvous with the crash-landed fighters.

Brig. Gen. Leigh stared bitterly over the horizon as he watched the smoldering ships on the horizon. He took a radio-phone, "This is Leigh. Is the Eyrenstrong holding up? Drydock? S***! How long? F***ing Hell! We continue Featherfox as planned! Are the OSI playing their part? Good. We won't give up yet!"

On board the submarine U-427
Clarke and Lombard stood on the deck under the cloudy night sky. It was perfect black, except for the small lights the men had standing on the deck. "Gents!" Clarke barked. The small group of men, packing gear and preparing a small raft turned abruptly. "Yesterday, we received another love-letter from Clara. Apparently she broke the heart of a corporal and found this gem: the airforce of the enemy, you know, runs on oil. Without oil, the planes don't fly. Therefore, your mission is to land on these shores and proceed to the location Clara was so kind to tell us about. The Tri-Nitro-Toluamide is in the crates, and try to make sure you do not let it get wet. Destroy the standing oil reserves and take the refineries out of action." He shifted his stance. Lombard spoke, "Men, you realize that there is a reason you are not wearing your dogtags and do not have any rank indication or any other identification means. You are not in the Siapian Military. You have no affiliation with the Republic of Siap. The weapons you hold were manufactured by a neutral ally. There is a reason each of you had a cyanide pill put in your back molar. If you are captured, we will have never seen you, or you will be labeled an outright traitor and, if worse comes to worse, you could be executed by one of your compatriates. If you die, you will not receive any honors, any speeches in your name, your family will get a letter saying you died in a training accident, and all medals of courage will be awarded to you under the name of A. Patriot. Now is the time for anyone who does not feel physically or mentally competent to serve with this is the time to stand down." The soldiers remained still in the silence for several minutes. Clarke looked around at the men, each staring at them, eyes like steel, unflinching. They were ready. "Alright. MOVE OUT! We might have a storm coming, so now's your chance to get in." The men finished packing the boat. They quickly got aboard and proceeded silently to the shores. Clarke and Lombard returned inside the sub. They sat down at the bridge. "Can we communicate with them?" Lombard asked. "Not frequently. We gave them a code box, but they can still find us. We can only come to the surface at night and only in international waters. We're gonna be running and hiding a lot."

Deputy Fuhrer Rarhin Keronin sat behind a large oak desk, in a black leather chair. His officer's hat firmly on his head, and his gas mask operating. The Deputy Fuhrer was not as young as he was...and it was seeming his health was failing him. He looked more tired, but till his last breath he would serve the Reich, and his people. The Fuhrer knew this, thus why they trusted each other as much as they did.

Rarhin had on his desk reports of the Kampfersein civil war. Verstummelung was obviously supporting the Resindorf forces, but this was a rumor, and NO such evidence could be aquired. Rarhin made sure of that personally. A knock on his office door caught his attention. Two officers from the Schlag-Luftwaffe (shock air force,) came before him. They saluted, right arm quickly in the saluted. "Ein Kampf, Ein Sieg" Then they returned to attention. "Please....*breath of air*...be seated." Rarhin spoke slowly. The two officers infront of him, looked worried. Then they sat. "You have something for me gentlemen?" Rarhin spoke, his eye's blinked once, they each saw the scars that were his eyelid's.

One officer had a black breifcase with him, he opened it and pulled a black folder with leather straps on the front. It had the mark of the airforce on it. An eagal with a pair of medium rocks forming an X in it's claw's. "Sir, these are the reports from the Kampfersein operation. Apparently, the opposing forces have aquired aircraft that we believe have come from a different country, we also have word of fleet...Carrier, two battleships and several other vessels. As per your orders, all surface ships operating off the waters of Kampfersein, with intent to invade....are to be attacked. Resindrof's Dive Bombers showed that he was not going to allow his entry into the Reich be tainted. Out of a force of nearly 20 Dive Bombers and nearly 15 Fighters, Resindorf believed to have lost 3 Dive Bombers and 2 Fighters...to anti aircraft fire. Reports came in, we crippled, the carrier...yet it is still afloat but dead in the water. Our "friends" assure us it will be sunk soon....but they have landed an expiditionary force. Nearly 10,000 strong.

Rarhin looked over the report. "Without their air support their easy to eliminate. I want Resindorf supplied with a full squadron of our Junkers Ju87B Dive Bombers, and double his shipment of Messerchmit fighters.

Also dispatch the 6th Army to Resindorf. Inform him, he may use them how he sees fit. Yet if he were to back them against the wall, he loses command and we will take over. Also dispatch the 2nd Specials Panzer Division. We plan to support him, but not fight his war for him, but I know we will get dragged into this war. We best prepare for it....carry out my orders." And with that the meeting ended, and the forces were dispatched.

[OOC: Verst...the Me 262 wasn't built until 1939.]

The Fuhrer himself arrived at the production factories where the Me 262s of Witzgall were being produced. Accompanied by General Pimmlot, a highly reputable General of the Army, as well as Colonel Kamzp, the Fuhrer was guided up and down the supply lines. He passed dozens upon dozens of Messerschmitt 262 jet fighters.

"And how fast did you say these beautiful planes went, comrade?" the Colonel asked the guide, the owner of the plant himself. Witzgall had been producing the Me 262 for roughly a year now, and many military officials had been looking forward to its use.

"Well, it is still in its early stages of testing. I don't expect a fully operational until at least Nineteen-thirty-nine." the guide replied, rubbing his chin as he thought.

"Perhaps...but the Sturmvogel should help us out in the near future, should our allies require our...how do I say it? Help?" General Pimmlot said, removing his military hat and placing it under his right arm. The Fuhrer walked ahead of the group, stopping occasionally to examine the exquisite aircrafts.

"So...you never answered the Colonel's question. What is it's max speed?" the Fuhrer shouted back to the guide, who stumbled to remember.

"Uh...five hundred and fourty miles per hour, Sir. But remember, early stages of..." the tour guide said before being cut off by a sharp smack to the back of the head by the General.

"He heard you the first time." the General said. The Colonel released a wicked smirk as he chuckled within himself at the misfortune of the plant owner. The guide handed the General a clipboard which had the statistics of the premiliminary Me 262.

"It says here that the Schwalbe version of the Two-Six-Two should be operationable in six months. Is that correct?" the General asked, flipping back and forth between papers.

"Well...according to my help, yes. But I still say thirty-nine, minimum. To give us more time is to give us more research and availability to test out our aircrafts before they hit the production lines. I highly recommend..." another slap crossed the guide's head.

"Shut up while your ahead. I expect this bird to be flyable in two months. Work overtime, I don't care. Do it." said the General, accompanying the quiet Fuhrer to his car. The Colonel laughed again before strolling behind the General.

"These ones will do, citizen."

Commander Ibrahim Bernstein searches through his pockets for a 1,000-Tp note, and hands it to a tall boatbuilder. Bernstein was notified that he would be the captain of the submarine delivering a team of 25 commandos three days previously, and had spent all those days preparing. The purchase of some good, seaworthy rowboats will be necessary for his mission. Walking back over to his vessel, a relatively new boat, although built somewhat specifically for operating in the Robotstani environment, he confronts his second-in-command.

"I don't know how we're going to fit 25 passengers plus these boats."
"We could empty the torpedo room. If we only carry one torpedo per tube, we will have just enough space to fit the boats. And with a skeleton torpedo crew, we could just get away with it."

Meanwhile, not terribly far away, on another island in the maze of the Robotstani archipelago, two trucks navigate a narrow dirt track leading down into a sheltered inlet, tucked in the pine forests and rocks. A pair of Torpedo Boats idle outside the inlet, painted in the standard greyish blue camoflauge pattern and armed with, besides four 233mm torpedos, four 20mm cannon and four 14mm machine guns. The trucks stop and unload the 25 or so commandos contained inside them. Dressed in black wetsuits, they unload their equipment and wait for the submarine.

As night falls, the humming of submarine engines can be heard as the Laborador Sea enters the inlet. Itself painted in black, crewmembers rush to secure the vessel to a small, rickety pier, which is almost crushed by the sub's momentum. Within an hour and a half, the entire site is clear, and the sub motors off into the darkness, escorted by the two MTBs until it reaches open ocean.

(More than welcome to join, and please..limit the OOC guys.)

The 6th Army had moved from their base in Auctun, southern Verstummelung. The 6th Army was atleast 60,000 troops +, they came with several artillery units, and above all else, they were supported by crack Panzer Divisions. The 2nd Specials Panzer Division was dispatched by the Deputy Fuhrer himself.

The 6th Army came with was ofcourse one of the highest trained armies the Reich had to offer. Infantry came with the Mauser 98K, 7.92mm(8mm Mauser.) ammunition. This was the standard rifle for the Verstummelung army at the time. Some troops were issued Mp38(Machine Pistol) guns, in ubran situations these would be highly effective. Supporting the infantry, would be several MG34 Machine Gun crews, the MG34 also fired the Mausers 7.92mm round. Also, it was an interesting inovation to have a 20mm anti-aircraft cannon..mounted on a simple axel with motorcycle wheels and a brace system, making a 20mm anti-infantry weapon. The 6th Army ment bisnuess, and were not afraid to show it.

Their supporting Panzer Division's tanks were mainly Panzerkampfwagen III Sd. Kfz. 141 - Ausf. A-H models. Some were prototypes for field testing, it should be noted atleast 7 tanks of unknown came with the 88mm anti-aircraft cannon as it's main aramament. The 6th Army was also supplied a fairly large artillery battery. 38 of the Fuhrer's best artillery guns. GebG 36 75mm Mountain Gun, 75mm LG 40 Recoilless Gun, and the 88mm Artillery Cannon. Mainly this was the 88mm Cannon, but mounted on the GebG 36 75mm Mountain Gun's frame, yet this was scaled up.

The 6th Army came into Kampfersein during the early hours of the morning. And already were heading to the frontlines. The 2nd Specials Panzer Division was comprised of 82 tanks, 123 ammo/fuel trucks, and 20 recovery vehicals. Some Panzerkampfwagen III's were converted into an anti-aircraft platform. Four 30mm cannon were attached in an anti-aircraft mount. 16 of the 82 tanks were of this...flakpanzer type.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Day 2 of the Kampfersein Ground Campaign.
The road heading into the Southern most city of Kampfersein, Dussesen, was the 6th Army's way into the city. The troops themselves had formed a parimater around the city, setting up road blocks and machinegun nests. Their artillery was set up atleast 1 mile outside of the city. Concentrated clusters protected by atleast three platoons of soldiers, and two anti-infantry tanks(20mm guns...) They knew that if any of Siap's expiditionary force had survived the Stuka attack, making it to Dussesen would have been their safest option, because it was one of the very few citys Resindorf didn't control. The seige of the city begun at noon. At 13:01hours, the command was given from the field HQ in a desly wooded area, to begin the artillery attack. Each one of the guns that could reach the city opened up all at once, raining shells down upon the city. This attack continued for two hours straight....

"Send in the front line troops, take the city...." commanded, Gerneral Stumgof Von Deserlin. Atleast 20 Panzer Mk III tanks, with 20,000 plus infantry begun to move into the city.

Brig. General Leigh stood, facing the camp as the men set up the anti-aircraft guns that were intended to aid the resistance. The men dug trenches and set up machine gun nests and anti-tank guns. They had more guns than they new what to do with, but manpower was a problem, or at least a temporary one.
At sea, there were several transports, carrying a total of 30,000 reservists, called into active duty last week. They were accompanied by several PT groups and the Battleship Lionheart. They proceeded swiftly to shore. The Battlship Lionheart and its support team of frigates diverted from the transports went to join the remaining frigates from the naval battle. The Captain stood at the deck. "Ready the A/A guns men! Were to draw the enemy aircraft away from the transports!" The Captain looked at his watch. Sunrise in five minutes. He looked out with his binoculars at the occupied port. "Let's give those facist bastards an early wake up call." Within minutes cannons were blasting as explosions appeared on the shore.

The commando group peered down at the oil facility. They saw the fuel trucks pull away to support the tank group. "Chief. What's the word." The Chief looked down at the facility. "Here's the plan; The new assault on the city of Dussesen will need oil, and I doubt those trucks will trek all the way back to Verstummelung for gas when its here, and if they do, the fuel from the planes comes from here, so those trucks should be along shortly. We want to cause as much damage as possible, so what we're going to do infiltrate the facility, as the soldiers around here should be limited, due to everything happening here. We plant the charges and wait. When a lot of trucks line up for gas, all the tanks, the trucks and the refinery get incinerated. No one, besides us, leaves here, not even in a box. First order of business, however, is to knock out the comms. building temporarily. Group A, go down to the power station and make it look like something shorted out. Group B, get to the comms. center and sabotage the backup generator, better yet, just unplug something or poke a hole in the gas tank, but don't give them any reason for suspicion. For now, we'll provide you with cover fire. MOVE!"

A PAAF soldier walked along a road outside of the Head Quarter's of Field General Shaklin Sterm. He held a Mauser in his hand's. He looked kindas bare, just a few extra belts of ammunition. He heard a whistling noise and turned his head. Seconds later, a 75mm shell exploded infront of him, blowing his limbs clear off his body killing him within seconds. Soldiers begun to run franticly to their machine gun nest's, and their anti-aircraft guns hastily converted into anti-tank weapons. "Its Verstummelung Artillery!" Shouted one soldier. Shells continued to rain down as buildings exploded, and bricks were sent everywhere. A Ju87G Stuka flew over head....it spun upside down and dove at a truck carrying soldiers to the defencive line. The Stuka carried a pair of 37mm cannons under it's wings. The siren the engine made almost deafened the soldiers below. The pilot pulled the trigger, the Stuka's 7.92mm machineguns and 37mm cannons let loose. Shells impacted the ground and as the Stuka moved upwards, the shells strafed the truck ripping it to shreads.

A soldier came running back from a forward observation post. Dodging shell hits and stray bullets. He jumpped behind a sandbag and looked at his fellow soldiers, as they loaded a Bren Mk3 .303 machinegun. The soldier caught his breath and shouted over the shell impacts. "Infantry soldiers are coming. They have Panzers and there are also anti-infantry artillery units incoming! They'll be here soon!" Before long, a MG34 opened up on the machinegun crew. "Open fire!" shouted the Commander holding a Lee-Enfield .303 Bolt Action Rifle. The Bren begun to open up, soldiers trying to run across the street were caught in the Bren's fire. A soldier fell forward, struck down. His comrade was caught in the leg and he fell forward. The Bren crew straifed him when he tried to crawl away.

The Verstummelung soldiers stopped trying to move across the street. They pinned the Bren crew down with their MG34. Around the corner was a Panzer Mk 3, a soldier motioned it to come around the cover. The ground started the rumble as rubble begun to shake. The sound of steel tracks and a heavy motor told the PAAF soldiers something not friendly was coming. The Panzer had a 65mm cannon on it. It came around the corner and instantly the turret turned to face the Bren crew. "Load.....Aim......FIRE!" The Bren crew begun to scramble, as a shell sped from the Panzer, blowing the sandbags away. The explosion knocked the soldiers off their feet. The infantry supporting the tank quickly killed the PAAF soldiers running away. A soldier wounded but still alive was pleading for his life. A soldier stopped infront of him, and put a 9mm bullet in his forhead. A sergent took a knee behind a building and pulled out a map. A Specials soldier, and three other soldiers were around him. "Our forces have broken their forward line. Their regrouping for a counter offensive. I believe that if we attack....on fourth street, we could flank their rear line troops and surround their front lines...."

The soldiers begun to work quickly, PAAF soldiers formed their counter attack. A sniper set up a post in an appartment building, Civilians quickly became soldiers aswell. A dozen Verstummelung troops moved down the street sweeping any soldiers they saw. The Sniper took his .303 and sniped the lead soldier. The other's blanketed his post with 9mm and 7.92mm rounds...

Fighting in the city was fierce, but if the PAAF was not reinforced soon...the city and its valuble harbor and drydock facilities would fall.

"We must act! A small advisor force is too little to make even a dent in the facist lines!"
"But we cannot expose ourselves...an escelated intervention might mean invasion for us!"
"The Facists are overextended in Kampferstein. They can't possibly have the resources to conduct a serious dual-front campaign, especially when one of those fronts is against a united military on its home territory."
"I propose that we commit 8,000 soldiers to an expedition into Kampfersein. General Sadat, is there such a force available?"
"Yes, the 52nd and 26th infantry divisions are on excersize in Lesser Kingston. While they lack armor, I could scratch together some Light Tank mark sixes, Tetrarchs, and perhaps a few Matilda twos along with Bren carriers. Artillery too, of course."
"I will assemble a surface battlegroup as soon as possible."
"Alright, so its decided. Robotstan will intervene in Kampfersein."

Before very long, a force of ships begins to collect off of Lesser Kingston. Crown Colony-class cruisers, renamed Suleiman I-class cruisers in Robotstani service, will most likely form the spearhead of the force, with Tribal class destroyers and Alexander Pushkin-class frigates (pre-River class) as escorts. Some submarines will probably be present as well, along with the landing ships, essentially armed freighters equipped with disembarkation ramps off the bow and designed to beach themselves.

Grand Admiral Rudolph Scheer, stood infront of a large window. Snow was falling in the northern part of the country. Infront of him, was the enitre Verstummelung fleet, with several Witzgal ships. Destroyers to Battlecarriers, everything lay before him. A fleet of 17 ships was leaving the harbor at the time. They were grouped around four carriers (Graf Zepplin Class). Around them, were four battleships (3 Scharnhorst Class, 1 Bismark Class.) Behind them were three pocketbattleships (Deautschland Class.) 2 Heavy Cruisers (Admiral Hipper Class,) and four Heavy Destroyers (Z Class) This was the 6th Reich Fleet. They headed for the waters of Kampfersein to set in a blockade. Already U-boats ranging into the numbers of around 40 - 60 were beginning to arrive and sink shipping....

Kampfersein is more or less a warmer region, something similar to the south of the United States, it snows only in the north and not by much. And in the south, near the city of Derst its a desert region...but by Dussesen its mainly a more forest region.)

"Now...where should we land?"
"We have submarines headed out to take a look at the situation, but it looks like, from the maps we have, its going to be a close fit. We will have to insert our troops somewhere."
"How long will it take to conduct this operation?"
"Minimum of about a week and a half."
"We'll be cutting close on this one. I hear the facists have aircraft carriers."
"We will just have to avoid them. Our lighties can't touch their ships."
"How about the navalized spitfire? How is that coming along?"
"Fairly well. We should have it deployable in about a month."

Out at sea, twelve submarines head towards Kampfersein. Two of them carry 25 commandos, while the others are outfitted much more commonly, carrying only two frogmen each who will become responsible for taking sand samples. The subs are also free to attack facist shipping if they stumble upon it, but it is not recommended for them to go in search of enemy ships.

I propose we rendezvous and coordinate our attacks. We have commandos who are going to torch the oil facility that supplies their main airbase. We are committing several more battleships and frigates to aid our current naval force. We are planning to send in several more troops, but we currently have 10,000 on the ground, 30,000 are just arriving, and another 50,000 en route. We do not wish to have the troop transports approach until we are sure that the aircraft will not harrass them. For now, I propose convening our forces on Dussesen. Our ships are currently bombarding Dussesen, but we need more manpower. Please respond as soon as possible.

Addressed to Naval Command.
Dated: Wednesday, March 23rd, 1938

It has come to our attention, a country has decided to become invovled. As of March 20th, our vessels attempting to form a blockade on Kampfersein's ports, and resupplying them, are being attacked by submarines of an unknown origin.

We request you send in the Eskorte-FlugzeugtrƤgers (Escort Aircraft Carriers,) with anti-submarine aircraft. We must quickly sink these pests if our blockade is to suceed.

Commadore Verin Gaus

Commadore Verin's request was awansered. The anti-submarine task force, made up of 14 Escort Aircraft Carriers, set out to the gulf of Auctun, off the shores of Kampfersein. They were escorted by a large group of heavy and fast destroyers...and three pocket battleships. Also a large, Graf Zepplin class carrier was posted in the area. Verstummelung was commniting a large naval force, and its shipyards were producing ships at a remarkable rate, with new classes of battleships, cruisers, and carriers on the way...and new types of submarines.

The PAAF was holding their ground against the Facists for the time being. Dussesen was one of the last citys to remain free of the Deathshead, each soldier was not about to give it up without a fight.

"Fall back!" Shouted one PAAF soldier as a Panzer Mk III came around the corner. Verstummelung's Panzer had most likly adopted the tactic of coming around corners and surprising soldiers. "Take cover!" One soldier shouted, he had what appeared to be this rocket launcher looking weapon over his shoulder. He fired the round, a massive force of fire came from the back of the weapon, as the warhead was sped forth from the firing tube. It made a straight line of smoke...it impacted the tank in the front, destroying the Panzer. The Panzer's crew attempted to run."Mow the bastards down!" The Captain shouted, he held his Thompson Sub Machinegun in hand, and with his comrads holding their new M1 Garands, they shot up the crew like a firing squad.

The weapon the soldier had fired, was known as the Panzerfaust. A weapon recently developed by Verstummelung, however it was aquired was unknown, but if the enemy had weapons like this...and it was built in enough numbers that an enemy soldier could aquire one, any tanks the PAAF had were in for it. The soldier was thanked by several of the men, the streets then had gotten quiet, because the explosion sounded much different than that of a shell hitting a building or a street, it had literaly made the Verstummelung troops and PAAF soldiers to run for cover, thinking some new weapon either side had deployed was raining down havoc. The soldier holding the weapon, had slung the tube over his shoulder. "Captain, make sure you and your men remember what this weapon looks like. If you see them, and are in a position to steal them, do it. If you see an enemy soldier pointing it at you, run for cover. This weapon is like four fragmentary grenades packed into a rocket. "But whats a rocket?" One PAAF soldier said. The man with the tube looked at him for a moment. "Its basically a tube with fuel and fire coming out the back, it goes really fast." The soldier saluted the Captain and his men and ran down across the street.

The PAAF soldiers soon ducked for cover again. This time shells were coming in from the south, from the ocean and coming down on their positions. They sounded like naval gun battery shells. "What the hell? I thought the waters off the city were protected!?!" Shouted one soldier. "I think the enemy has cleared those defenses and are shelling our positions!" A shell came in close to the squad, several soldiers were blown to pieces on impact, their blood and limbs falling like rain. It was unknown to the PAAF that there was even an expiditionary force, let alone a navy. Most major forms of communication were blocked by the Facists. "Radio headquarters. Tell them we have incoming naval shells! Now! Hurry!" shouted the Captain. The radioman moved behind a trashcan and radioed headquarters. "Wess Squad to Headquarters. We have shells coming from the sea, what the hell is going on?" He said franticly. Headquarters responded that they had no idea, and ordered the soldiers to fall back to avoid the shells. This strike also aided the Facists, it boxed the PAAF in and with a blockade soon to come, it would strangle them.

Inside of the HQ Bunker. A group of Officers were standing around a corpse. The corpse was that of a dead privite, he wore a Verstummelung unfiorm, it was confirmed....soldiers from the Reich were fighting this war with Resindorf....it all made sense.

What government was left in Kampfersein, had quickly drafted a declaration of war against Verstummelung, and their ally of Witzgall. They knew they could not win this fight, but they would take as many Facist soldiers with them as they could.

To Fuhrer, and Deputy Fuhrer, of the Reich.
We have discovered your soldiers are fighting this war, with our enemy..Resindorf.

We as of this moment, are now at a state of declaired war. We are outraged by your imperialistic ways! We will resist to the last man! May god have mercy on you, you facist scum!

The Democratic Nation of Kampfersein.

With the declairation of war drafted, it was time for a counter offensive with anything they had left....Kampfersein had atleast three full squadrons of F4F WildCats and SBD Dauntless Dive Bombers, and P40 Warhawks. They needed pilots, badly. They had sent an international call out to nations sympathetic to them. They asked for pilots, to join their shattered airforce in attempts to prevent the Facists from gaining air supremacy. The airforce was all that stood between Resindorf's total victory in Kampfersein.

Brig. General Leigh stared at the maps of the troop positions. "We can't wait any longer. If we do, the resistance will surely fall." He spoke to the corporal. "Wire a message to the naval group. Tell them to stand down the attack. Its doing more damage than good." He came out of his tent and faced the troops. "Men, we're moving out! We'll drive those facist bastards out of Dussesen and reunite with the rebels. That should hopefully open the shipping channels for more reinforcements. The soldiers immediately began to disassemble the camp and ready their weapons. The resistance had just received a stronger chance of survival.

The Commandos surrounded the oil fields. The different groups had successfully sabotaged the comms. tower and began to lay charges on the oil tanks and the refinery. Snipers stood on the ridge overhead, watching for any patrols. "Men, we'll go over this one more time. As soon as the next fuel convoy comes in, we'll detonate the charges, taking as many trucks down as we can, along with the oil. Hopefully, this should keep those pesky planes on the ground."

PT 42 sat facing the coast near the Kampfersein border. "Hurry up and plant those mines. The enemy navy will be here soon!" The men tossed the mines over board. "Don't go to fast, unless you want to swim home."
The man with the binoculars shouted "Enemy ships on the horizon! Hurry up! We gotta get out of here." They finished placing the mines and cruised to join the SIapian fleet.

Meanwhile, at sea the transports drifted like razors through the edge of the north Siapian Sea. The transports contained 50,000 soldiers along with an assortment of artillery and anti-aircraft guns. Accompanying them were several destroyers, PT boats and the Aircraft Carrier Fortitude.

In the city of Esmund, millions of copies of the "Siap Tribue" were circulated, each with a special advertisement geared towards pilots to come aid the resistance. By the end of the day, 200 pilots had signed up.

A group of about four Verstummelung soldiers sat hudled next to a fire in a bombed out building. They were eating field rations and talking about their family's at home. They smoked and wrote leaders home. The fighting had died down, it appeared the enemy was beaten, and they would be moving out soon. The Artillery units had stopped for the time beaing, they hadn't wanted to ruinin the barrels of their gun's. Kampfersein had appeared beaten, the Reich would have it's new state, and would quickly turn the country into a well-oiled machine of military and facism. "I hear the Fuhrer has allocated more troops to the area. We're going to win this fight." One soldier said softly, another shook his head, "A Panzer Division, and Artillery Unit...and 60,000 troops couldn't subdue this force. Either their more formadable than thought or we're not as good as we're made out to be." Suddenly a shell came in, it impacted the street below covered in rubble. PAAF soldier's must be moving in for their counter attack. "Shit! There coming back. Load the machinegun, and get the Panzerfaust ready!" The soldiers were on the second floor of a bombed out building, their MG34 was pointed out the window at a sharp curve, they had atleast 180 degrees of view on the street infront of them. Two operated the MG34, one soldier had a Mauser 98K and extra ammo for the MG34, and another soldier, was carrying large amounts of Panzerfausts and stick grenades.

"I can smell them....the stentch of those scummy soldiers..." The soldier with the Mauser said. "I have a feeling this is going to be big, why else would they just fire one shell?" Suddenly troops begun to come down the street, they wore olive drab coats and British battlehelmets. They were not aware of the machinegun crew untill it was too late. "Shred em," the soldier with the Panzerfaust said. The bolt to the MG34 was pulled back, a sudden click...the PAAF soldiers, heard this, they looked up...when their eye's met the barrel of the machinegun...it opened up. 7.92mm rounds in short bursts rained down on the troops. The MG34 had a box of rounds...atleast 500 rounds...they fired in short bursts...and seldomly a long one. They must have had them pinned down. "Take the Panzerfaust around back. I'm sure their going to come from the other side of the building! " The machinegunner yelled over the blasts from his gun. The soldier with the Panzerfaust ran down the stairs, he looked his head out the door of the building. PAAF troops were pinned against the wall, they most likly couldn't advance. They must have been scared. The soldier ready'd his weapon, his hand clasped the lock to the warhead. He pulled the lock back, the rocket sped forth, releasing a large amount of fire from the back of the weapon....it was fast and loud and left alot of smoke. The blast would have been enough to destroy the wall the PAAF troops were huddled against. He dove into the building quickly. He knew soldiers were going to try to storm this place. The MG34 stopped for a moment. "Throw me down a machinepistol!" The panzerfaust soldier said. An MP40 was thrown throu a hole in the floor, and two clips fallowed. The soldier put his other Panzerfaust against the wall.

The machinegun loader looked at the box of ammo. The MG34 had atleast 100 rounds left...and an emergency drum of 50 rounds. "We're low on ammo sir..." The machinegunner looked around the street for a moment, and looked to the soldier with the Mauser. "Go to the fourth squad, three blocks over. Fetch some Ammo and anything you can get!" The Mauser soldier looked alittle worried, he was still alittle green. He nodded, loaded a fresh clip of rounds into his rifle. Ran down the stairs, and took off out the door. "Get the facist scum!" The soldiers by the machinegun heard...and several shots rang out. M1 Garand shots...then they were fallowed by a Mauser shot. They wondered...if their runner made it. Only time would tell.

"Enemy ship spotted sir! It's a mine layer!" Shouted one of the lookouts onboard the pocketbattleship Verlend. The Captain took a closer look with a set of binoculars. "They are trying to prevent us from getting into Dussesen harbor and cutting off the lifeline to Kampfersein the Siapians intend to use." He sighed for a moment. "It is pretty obvious we're going have to go around this field. It appears to not be as large, but it will cost us a few hours..." A young officer came onto the bridge. "Sir perhaps we could fit a 20mm cannon to the bow...and use search lights...the lights are powerful enough to pierce the water and spot mines. Then when we see a mine, we destroy it." The Captain thought for a moment. "Your plan seems sound...do it at once. I want to get throu this field as quick as possible." Not long afterword, the ships begun to move throu the field slowly using this tactic, which was bold enough to work and it was showing promise...but not fullproof. A light cruiser struck a mine...and she beached herself on the shore..on fire. The fleet continued untill they reached the point to where the last mine was dropped. Then they orderd all ahead full....

**ATTENTION VERSTUMMELUNG: YOU ARE IN DIRECT VIOLATION OF SIAPIAN CONTROLLED NAVAL ZONES. IT IS IMPERATIVE YOU TURN BACK IMMEDIATELY IF CONFRONTATION IS TO BE AVOIDED**

The Aircraft Carrier Fortitude and her escorts peeled into the Siapian controlled waters. The transports opted to return to the Siapian home waters until the conflict was resolved. Admiral Jennings stood at the bridge, surveying the scene. "We can't afford to take the usual niceities. Tell the frigates and the battleships to ready their guns. Put everyone on the lookout for subs. We have to hit them while they are crossing the mined water, as they are most vulnerable now. Ready the planes. We're using plan 12. Make sure we have some planes ready for defense, as we do not want to repeat what happened to the Eyrenstrong. Wire the frigates and the Lionheart Tell them to get ready to pound any ship that gets through the minefield. Also, have the PTs ready to place a few mine at a moments notice.

The Siapian planes lined up on the deck, very sparsely armed, with a .20 cannon and some carried a 200kg bomb or a torpedo. Single file they took off into the night sky. After a while of flying through a blackness where only the stars seperated the sky from the sea, the little white dot dancing across the water and the occasional flare from an exploding mine revealed the enemy. The majority dove upon the ships passing through the minefield, while several pulled away from the main group. Here's for the Eyrenstrong Flight commander de Michelle thought as he dropped his payload over the ship leading the fleet.

A small PT group moved away from the action. They would wait until everyone on the approaching ships had their eyes on the sky and then plant more of the lethal mines around the approaching ships...

~Encrypted message to all expeditionary forces:

Siapian Expeditionary Force

P.S. Due to the threat of a blockade, we are mining the most strategic blockade passage around kampfersein. It is not advisable to approach from the East or the West near the coast, but to divert and approach straight on. We will supply you the locations of the mines once they are placed.

***Message To all Ships in the region***
It is unadvisable for any ship to approach Kampfersein, unless they have the permission of the Siapian Navy or the Siapian Expeditionary Force.

Heavily encrypted messages are sent to Siap from the government in Kingston , detailing Robotstani intentions, and also discussing the impending arrival of between ten and fifteen Robotstani submarines into the area.

At nightfall, five days after leaving port, a periscope peeks above the surface of the ocean off of Kampfersein. The submarine itself idles, and many crewmembers hold their breaths due to the suspense. In the torpedo compartment, two dozen wetsuited men paint their faces and pull on black wool caps. Bergemann MP-18s and MP-40s are checked and loaded, as are the handful of MG-34s and Mauser 98ks.

The shilouettes of warships is visible in the distance, and the captain orders the ballast tanks to be emptied at the slowest possible rate. Steadily, the shape of a conning tower and a 6-pounder gun emerge. The commandos steadily empty onto the deck, keeping a low shilouette, with machine-pistols and packs of equipment all painted flat black. Four inflatable boats are brought up, and the commandos swim off into the inky darkness. They cling to the sides of the boat instead of ride inside so that they will have a heavily reduced shilouette and will be able to duck underwater if a searchlight spots the boat.

Back in Lesser Kingston, an impressive force of ships assembles. Led by the pride and joy of the Robotstani navy, two Halie Selassie (Nelso) class battleships, and complimented with six Suleiman I cruisers, twelve Tribal and four I-class destroyers, and ten Alexander Pushkin class frigates. Three escort carriers are also collected for the endeavor, embarking Blackburn Skuas and Hawker Hurricanes. The fleet feels fairly uncomfortable in terms of its air cover, being equipped with an outdated bombing aircraft and insufficent numbers of fighters to take on both carrier air wings and land based Messerschmits.

But the sailors are confident, behind both excellent torpedos and the big guns of the cruisers and battleships. Troops are loaded onto landing ships as antisubmarine sloops patrol the area. The ground contingent feels like it has good enough equipment, with the Matilda Mk. II and Tetrarch as well as anti-tank guns and artillery. Carden-Lloyd carriers are assigned to each ten-person squad, and generally carry a Boys anti-tank rifle and a Bren or Vickers MG.

JGFS Silent Wind quietly creeped threw the water. She was only a thirty miles from the coast of Kampfersein, heading towards Dussesen. Silent Wind was a frigate, she was indeed an advanced scout, patrolling for any Facists submarines. Her captain stood in the bridge, they had witnessed some of the fighting and were impressed that Siap had managed to break threw. "Send a message to fleet command, encrypted of coarse," stated the captain. After a few moments of movement from one of the sailors, he was given a thumbs up.

To Fleet Command:
Siap broken threw. Known enemy naval vessels in waters. Enemy is an obsticle in our route. Orders?

Moments later, on the JGFS Raging Fury, a battleship, a message came threw in encrypted morse code. Immediately the code was broken and sent directly to Major Norman and Admiral Hang, in the planning room. As the messenger entered, the two men were seen pointing at certain points on the map. They looked up at the messenger who was out of air. He handed them the message, then left.

Norman viewed the message and the expression on his face didn't look good. He set the paper down. "It appears we may have some difficulty getting into the port of Dussenen. Facist and Siapian naval forces have clashed recently," stated Norman. The admiral however looked pleased. "Major, this would be a good time to see if the aircraft carriers work. We have two of them with us," stated Hang with pride. Norman pondered on this for a moment, this would be an opprtunity to test them out. "Agreed, send the proper orders admiral," stated Norman.

Fifteen minutes later, after some brief encrypted talk between the Raging Fury and the vessels JGFS All Consuming and JGFS Unified, pilots began to run out to their planes. The best planes Jagada brought with this carrier task force were the TE566 SuperMarine Spitfire. Within five minutes, all forty planes were ready for flight. One by one they took off from their respective carriers and headed towards what was just recently a battefield for Siap and Facist forces.

The following message was, at the same time, sent to Siap:

To Siapian Forces:
The Commonwealth of Jagada is here to assist the PAAF forces. We request permission to dock at what is now your port in Dussenen. Please respond.

OoC: The TE566 SuperMarine Spitfire was the first Spitefire ever made and it was made in 1938. Though...if we bump it up to 1944 I'm going with Mustangs.

We still have the supplies we promised for them earlier. have the trucks pull back. For now, we'll move into the city upon the north. Allied reinforcements should be coming to the docks soon enough. Lets see if we can put these dirty pigs on the run. Men, show these f***ers what it feels like to lose!" The men cheered and advanced quickly toward the city.

IC:

The Robotstani commandos drift towards shore slowly but steadily, on the lookout for facist ships as they make their way towards the coast.

In back of them, the submarine submerges slowly, until it is at periscope depth, and then motors away. The rest of the boats, however, have different intentions. They also approach quietly and at night, and check the shilouettes of the ships they see. The subs also prepare to lay mines, although they still need to move into proper position.

A local had tipped off the local patrolmen, who then tipped off the patrol boats. They had come up quickly onto the submarines, and opened fire with their 20mm cannon's. They also released on torpedo, one torpedo...one submarine. As the first boat past, it had shined a light on those moving into shore. "There is a team in the water! Shread them in the name of the Reich!" The fallow up boat turned it's twin 20mm turret to face the cammando raft...and opened up. This was a simple hit and run raid, they moved away with quick speed...

"Sir we have recieved a message from the Siapian Forces," stated an aid walking to Major Norman, who was now at the bridge looking at the window. Norman nodded and took the paper, he reviewd it for a few moments.

"Prepare to send the following message, encrypted, to the entire Fleet," stated Norman to a nearby aide.

To Fleet,
Change coarse. Appoarch point in the following manner: a direct south approach at least 50 km out. Carrier recall all planes except scouts.

As this message was sent out, the fleet began the nessecary movements required to perform the exercise. This would delay the Fleet from arriving in the port for another five hours.

OCC: There are rather many...only two out of around 12 submarines sent to the area are carrying commandos, the rest are laying low and trying not to be noticed. The commandos are doing likewise, and were released from well out to sea, further than would be very easily visible unless you were in a boat. But oh well.

IC:

The insertion is a disaster. Not expecting to find patrol boats out as far as they were, the submarines releasing the commandos don't have their own 7.7mm MGs and 40mm cannons manned. Caught preparing to dive, those few crewmen on the first sub who remain on the conning tower fire towards the muzzle flashes with their Tommyguns and rush to man the AAA guns. Only a few rounds are shot off from the quad .303 (7.7mm) mount before the sub is hit by a torpedo. Split in two, the boat sinks rapidly, taking all but four crew with it. The commandos in the water fare only slightly better. Most are cut down by automatic fire, but a few duck underwater and avoid the fate of their comrades, although with just about all hope of rescue gone and with nothing but waterlogged SMGs for weaponry, their fate is uncertain at best.

Things go a little bit better for the second sub. The commandos, still on the deck, aid the crew in firing at the PT boats with their MG-34s and SMGs while explosives are hastily thrown into the water so they don't go off on deck. The quad .303 and the 40mm mount are both manned, and they begin to fire back at the PT boats before a torpedo hits the stern and causes rapid flooding, dragging the sub down with its bow in the air. Many more crewmen are able to escape this sinking than the sinking of the first sub, but they are still alone in unfriendly waters.

As the other boats stand off, they watch as the raid fails miserably, and slip further away underwater, looking for relatively veunerable facist shipping to attack.

Meanwhile, as the Robotstani Expeditionary Force gets ready to sail, the Navy contacts the Siapian Admiral Jennings, asking where the force should go to and put in once it has arrived off Kampfersein.

Long range patrols were something of a bore for most officer's and seamen of the Reich Kriegsmarine. At a time of peace for nearly 20 some odd years, it would be apparent to most that the crews and their tactics were alittle rusty. Yet in most cases this wasn't true at all. The Kriegsmarine as of late begun a new program to field the best and most capable submarines to the day. With the VIIC type becoming more and more useless as enemy anti-submarine weapons got better, the Kriegsmarine went into a totaly new direction. The XXI type recently developed could go faster, deeper, and have a longer range than anything fielded by enemy nations.

The Kriegsmarine had suspended construction of the VIIC type and large heavy battleships, limiting the H Class battleship to a run of four ships, and the H42 Class limited to a run of two ships. Yet cruisers, destroyers, and aircraft carriers were certinly being produced at a rapid rate. Destroyers were so finly tuned when it came to construction, they could be produced at a rate of 4 a month if needed. Yet the Kriegsmarine only really needed to produce the new XXI u-boat at such a pace. Infact U-boats were being launched at a rate of nearly 2 boats a week! And with the Kriegsmarine Third Fleet, launching its unristricted campaign of terror on enemy shipping it would certinly be needed. The Kriegsmarine was slowly phasing out the VIIC type, the class number went from nearly 1200 to nearly 600 in half a year, whilst XXI types were increasing to nearly double the rate. The shipyards had worked ways into the design to build it faster with a negligable loss in quality. The Third Fleet was estimiated at a number of 2000+ ships, most of them VIIC and XXI type submarines. XXIs were quickly deployed off the water's of Kampfersein.....

The XXI was certinly advanced, and with the pack staring down the REF expiditonary force heading to Kampfersein this was going to be sweet revenge for the 6th Army. He planned to fire four torpedos, and aimed the right so that they would hit the middle of the ships, all to just before the stern. This was obviously a smart move, it would seriously damage the engine room and knock out electrical power.

The Siapian aircraft flew over the fleet, like mosquitos around a herd of bison. A group of three planes dove in low to fire a stream of bullets into the bridge of a nearby battleship. One was disintegrated by the anti-aircraft fire, but the other two managed to outmaneuver the stream of bullets pursuing them. While the planes flitted like flies around the ships, the PT group came in quickly while the ships were staring at the sky. They fired a salvo of 20 torpedos into the advancing fleet.
While this was happening, Mike "Jackknife" Dobenicz led the 21st naval airborne- 'The Peregrines" aptly named for their attack method. The 5 planes flew a wide circle away from the fleet, gradually gaining altitude. Then, suddenly, they dove toward the sea and pulled up immediately before hitting the water--almost all did, but one smashed into the water and was ripped apart like a paper doll. The others flew extremely low over the surface. They spotted a Graf-Zeppelin Aircraft Carrier. They skillfully weaved around the cruisers, who were now trying vainly to shoot at them. "There's the carrier. Aim for the section under the bridge." The planes jettisoned their torpedos which sped like pirhanas to their prey...

Meanwhile, the Siapian Expeditionary Force advanced onto the northern part of the city Dussesen. The mortar shells were fired upon Resindorf's forces encampments while Siapian Soldiers fanned out and advanced into the streets..

The crew's nerves were on edge...as the pack begun to fire torpedo after torpedo. They were under orders not to let any ship survive.

Not expecting to find U-Boats out so far, the REF, which only recently had entered the open ocean, is caught unawares.

The first torpedos hit a pair of heavily loaded troop transports. REF soldiers jump into the frigid water as the vessels rapidly take on water. The torpedos aimed at the Halie Selassie also hit home, putting the engines out of action and causing moderate flooding. Two Suleiman I class cruisers are hit as well, and quickly begin to sink.

However, as soon as the first explosions light up the night sky, the escorts go wild. Immediately kicking up to high speed, Tribal class destroyers and Pushkin-class frigates blast the surrounding ocean with active sonar. As soon as a contact is discovered, depth charges, as well as antisubmarine mortars, are fired in hopes of destroying the offending submarines.

The destroyers radio for air support as Walrus seaplanes are launched from the disabled Halie Selassie and remaining Suleiman I cruisers. The escort carriers also rapidly discharge their air wings, which begin circling in search of targets. While the submarine attack might inflict heavy casualties, the idea that it might destroy the entire convoy is farfetched, and as sailors and troops fight for their lives in the inhospitable subarctic waters, escorts search feverishly for the subs.

"Fire your salvo and go deep!" Shouted a Commander over the radio. Depthcharges and anti-sub mortors were going around all over. One boat was out of action and exploded within seconds. Another managed to fire off another six torpedos and dove deep. She escaped but contact was lost...only the sound of the sub hitting the bottem was heard. Four boats left, the XXI was vastly surpurior to what the enemy had encoutered at the time. They were much faster, and their range and depth was quite well shown as they were able to avoid the enemy aircraft with ease and ward off.

They had acomplished their primary goal, sink half of the convoy. The loss of two XXI boats was nothing to really grieve over in material terms. Five would rise in their place within a matter of weeks. By now, XXI boats were all across the ocean. Siap would be feeling the brunt of the Kriegsmarine's new U-boat and Lunatic wouldn't be able to bring any troops across the ocean whilst the U-boat fleet was still standing. The surface fleet was doing their respective job, keeping the surface fleet's of Siap busy whilst the U-boats moved into position for their blockade.
-----------------------------------------------------

The Siap mainfleet was sighted just as easily as the Reich fleet. The group of escort carriers, and the Graf Zepplin had begun to launch their Stukas. By now they had gotten out of the minefield, and the destroyers quickly set up a defensive screen around the submarines. The Battleships also aided in this screen, the biggest of them all, a Bismark Class, aimed her guns towards what appeared to be an aircraft carrier. Her gun's could reach her no doubt, her four turrets opened up in quick succession, firing salvo after salvo. With such a large carrier force...it would be quite clear the Reich had the upperhand. Atleast 80 Stukas managed to get off the decks, with over 40 Fw190's in support. These Fw190s were specily armed with two 20mm cannon and one 30mm cannon in the nose. The Stukas carried 1000lb armor piercing bombs. 20 Fw190's supported the fleet whilst the rest screened the Stukas for approach.

"Revenge is cold my enemy." One Stuka pilot said, as he dove over the largest battleship he could find. He made a quick dive, and dropped the bomb right infront of the first main turret, slightly to the left. It was clearly aimed at the deck, seeing how a battleship's weakest armor is in the deck. This bomb was ment to set off the magizine, and with such precious it was shaping out that way perhaps. The Stukas dove onto the fleet like a plauge, their bombs were certinly enough to cripple a destroyer in a single hit, and sink one in two hits. The Fw190's straifed the deck's of the carriers and also the PT boats whilst they moved in.

"Black Leader to group, preparing to make bombing run." The sky was eclipsed by a new prototype heavy bomber. Nothing seen before by anyone. It had recently been assembled for field testing. Four huge...six engined giants emerged from the sky. They could fly much higher than piston driven fighters. They were known as the Junkers Ju390. Taking off from base in eastern Verstummlung, the four Ju390s made their presence known over the fleet. "Open bomb bay doors..." Said the lead bomber of the radio. The bombadier had the Siap fleet in his sights, it was a carpet bomber like no other. Time delay bombs...high fragmentary...sorta like a pre-cluster bomb. "Release...." The Junkers Ju390's released nearly 22,046 lb of high fragmentary bombs onto the fleet below, it took them a few seconds to empty their bomb bays, they turned and headed back to their base, this was merly a scare tactic, but the results if aimed right could be deadly. "Black Group, lead here. Return to condor nest. Out." The bombers moved away....as the battle raged on below them.

If the Junkers Ju390 was being mass produced, Siap and Lunatic were certinly in for a blitz on their city's.

OCC: Are we doing 1944 tech after all? If so, according to my figures the Ju390 had a ceiling of 8,900 meters maximum. If this is 1944, this figure is well within the capability of the Seafire Mk. III (10,302m), Mosquito (9,449m), and even the Gloster Gladiator (10,210m). I might have incorrect figures, but it appears as though this supposed super-bomber is well within the interception capabilities of my airforce anyway, and probably Siap's too, even if he uses something similar to the Gladiator.

As tugs rush out to recover the Selassie and pick up survivors from the ocean, the escorts continue to hunt for submarines. The REF is beaten back into the archipelago, for now. However, the fleet will be very heavily enhanced the next time around. RNS Indomitable and Furious, new aircraft carriers, as well as a veritable cloud of antisubmarine sloops, Hunt-class destroyers, River-class frigates, and Walrus, Wellington, and Beaufighter coastal bombers. And for an enemy U-boat to enter the Robotic Archipelago, with its shallow waters and the wide dispersal of MT boats and patrol vessels, would be close to suicide.

(OOC: I'm assuming we are now, sience Kampfersein said it. I apologize about the Junker Ju390, thought it could go higher than a B29. So yes I'm guess things in 1944 and below are now useable. That means the Me262 and the Glostor Metor are now useable, along with all the other fun shit.)

Off the coast of Dussesen, the XXI U-boats were starting to torpedo allied shipping rather fast. They had been ordered to speed up and double their efforts....

As repairs on the heavily damaged Selassie get underway and the new fleet rallies around lesser Kingston, Black Swan class ASW sloops scour the seas, or rather those seas free enough of pack ice to allow U-Boats to operate, for targets. Aided by Walrus seaplanes, radar-equipped Beaufighter attack planes, Fairey Firefly fighter-bombers, and a wide range of coastal command bombers.

Meanwhile, the first squadrons begin to equip with a brand new type of aircraft. Designated Gloster/SAf. Meteor, the type will be the first jet-powered fighter to enter service.

"While it is a step towards the future, I have doubts as to its effectiveness in combat. It will take time to adapt ground crews to the new technologies exhibited in this aircraft, but its speed, which approaches eight hundred kilometers per hour, will prove invaluable during interception missions. I plan to convert up to ten squadrons from the SAf. Hurricane Mk. III to the Meteor by year's end." -RAF commander Maciek Syzko.

Southern Verstummelung, 26 miles from the boarder of Kampfersein.

A luftwaffe pilot looked around the calm meadow around him. He was wearing the usal flight suit acustomed to Reich combat pilots. He played with a daisy in his hand and begun to hear the sound of a pair of propeller engines in the distance. He looked up and saw the wave of Junkers Ju390's and Focke-Wulf Fw190's heading back from their recent attack on Dussesen. He had seen them go to their target a few hours earlier and had counted atleast well over 12 Ju390's and 9 Fw190's. He counted 7 Ju390's...and 2 Fw120's. This was starting to bother him.

The pilot was Verstummelung's leading ace, Lieutenant Commander Hans Ferid. Head of the Luftwaffe's Vulture squadron. He stood up and turned around and looked as the Bombers and the piston engined fighters headed back to their base farther up the way. He then looked infront of him, four hangers filled with the new Messerschmit Me262 fighters. Coming out onto the airfield was the entire squadron. They were each armed with medium rockets or the X-4 Wire Guided Rocket.

Hans looked around at this pilot's moving towards their planes. It was going to be a long day as they would crush fighter resistance over Dussesen.

The fleet was severely damaged. Several frigates had gone under, but the aircraft carrier Fortitude released more planes. The small fighters pursued after their attackers. "Chop 'em up!" the commander yelled as they came upon the retreating planes.
Meanwhile, "Jackknife" Dobenicz and his crew made several more passes strafing the aircraft carrier they hit. They were freshly rearmed before the retaliatory strike and diverted away from the carrier. They came in low nearby another battleship, this time the four planes buzzed the deck crew while another rushed the bridge before abruptly pulling up and releasing the 200 kg bomb into the bridge.

Meanwhile, the surviving PT boats hastily poured more mines into the water in front of the approaching ships and raced to join the fleet.

The Siapian forces moved through Dussessen and watched the fighers battling in the sky. They spread out across the streets. "Men. We'd better meet up with the resistance, fast. This could get messy." Gen. Leigh announced.

Finally, after a long delay, the new and improved Robotic fleet reaches open ocean. Steaming at a brisk pace and full of new armements, like M10 Achilles (17-pounder gun instead of 3in), M8, and M36 tank destroyers and even a few Daimler armored cars and AVRE Churchills. The troops, equipped with Stens, Brens, SMLE No.4s, and domestic anti-tank rockets, are ready to do their part in the fight against facism.

The type XXIs will have a much harder time in attacking the convoy now, with sonar and ASW mortar-equipped escorts and numerous patrol planes scouting around the convoy.

The ships should arrive very soon.

Finally, the REF arrives off of Dussesen after several days of fast sailing.

The first priority of the fleet is to get the troops offloaded as soon as possible. Carriers launch Seafire and Firefly aircraft to provide a defense against Facist aircraft as the troopships head towards shore with the utmost speed, surrounded by escorts. Should they manage to land safely, and offload a significant portion of equipment, they might be able to significantly improve the anti-facist forces' chances. After all, the M10 Achillies could destroy a Panther or Tiger, as could an M36, and the sappers are fully capable of destroying or disabling even the most fearsome King Tigers by their own means.

Some M3 halftracks are also present among the REF ground troops, many of them equipped with mortars and AAA MGs.

Onboard the Battleship Helsin. The Captain franticly looked at the hell before them. He saw the four planes, and the bomb that crushed the bridge. It exploded sending men all into the water. The radio system was still operable and sent a massage to the secondary bridge towards the rear of the ship. "Captain and command crew dead. Secondary officers take command." All along the Deaustchland class pocketbattleship, the crew were franticly fending off fighters. Feeding ammunition into their 5 inch guns, and the MG42 mounted machineguns. They concentrated the batteries on one plane at a time, which was sending in massive amounts of firepower into the air.

The carrier took one torpedo hit along the starboard bow, bringing her down by the head atleast three feet. The anti-flooding system begun to take charge, and hatches and portholes were closed as quickly as possible. The smaller carriers begun to move into range, as Scharnhorst class battleships supported them. Their 512mm guns, quickly took aim on the smaller destroyers. A full forward battery of 6 of those guns, could level a destroyer before it could think twice. "Open fire!" Shouted the gun commander, the battleship opened fire.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Panther Model G's and Model F's begun to move into the city. The Specials had dispatched the 2nd Specials Panzer Division. 2012 tanks in all, moved into the city. Verstummelung was pouring in so many troops they lost track. It has seemed their whole southern army (estimated at atleast 6,000,000) had been called to action and sent inward.

Keroenin in his undisclosed bunker had been listening to reports about the fighting on the radio. Troops had requested air support, as the REF and Siap had boosted the troop strenght of the PAAF. He quickly had the inative taken. He ordered a full bomber strike on the city.....

The buzzing of radial engines became deafaning. As Junkers Ju390's, Junkers Ju88's and He111's begun to appear in quite large numbers over the city. Their sole purpose was to level the city and and turn it into a hellhole for all who lived there. Their numbers ranged into the hundreads, as atleast that many fighters supported them. Me-109s, Fw-190s, Me-262s, and even odd looking He162's were supporting them. A black and green Me262 was leading the formation, armed with X-4 guided rockets, it was Hans.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

"Request Imediate Stuka Support!" Shouted a soldier over the radio. The PAAF was moving in on their position, and it seemed as though there was nothing they could do. Mortor shells had rained in on their position, and the building was offering less and less cover as they continued inward. They didn't hear the Stuka, no they heard something much better. The tracks of a Panther Model G were quite distinguised. Its 88mm gun opened up and it's turret mounted MG43 quickly begun pushing enemy troops back.

The machinegun crew in the building looked stunned as fresh frontline troops begun to pass them. Panzerfausts, MG42s, Stgw44's, FG42s, MP42s. They knew that the PAAF and the REF and SEF's were in for a shock.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

As the REF begun landing on shore, and moving onto the banks, they were quickly met with the siren's of the dreaded Ju87G. This model of the Stuka wasn't for dive bombing. It was for straifing. As the REF begun to move into the city, a whole wave of Ju87's met them head on. Sending shrapnal 37mm shells into their boats, and firing 20mm shells at them. Already the massive ring of artillery outside of the city begun to open fire. 88mm's, 105mm's and even large railway guns begun to send shells into the city. This was Verstummelung giving all it had.

The stukas are met with heavy AAA, as well as Seafires and Fireflies. The dive bombers, already outdated, are sitting ducks for the new Robotic aircraft. However, many landing craft are damaged or sunk, as are some of the precious AVRE Churchills.

On the ground, the REF infantry and tank forces go into action. AVRE churchills use their heavy cannons to simply demolish buildings housing facist troops, and the 17-pounder guns on the Achillies and Valentine Archer can take on the facist armor quite readily. But the troops don't fully commit just yet. AAA guns are rapidly set up along the shore, and the escort ships stand by to provide fire support as well.

Dr. Clarke's car sat outside the small pub in Esmund, Siap. Inside was a small crew of regulars to the pub, and in the corner was a group of men in dark suits huddled together eyes shifting across the pub while a small pile of money sat in front of them. Through a door and up a small flight of steps was what appeared to be a waiting room, with a broad-shouldered man polishing a Colt 1911 pistol sitting in an easy chair while two others sat around a table littered with cards and in each man's hand were four aces and a king. Inside the office, a large aged man sat with a cigar burning slowly in his mouth. He set on a record that played the Siapian National Anthem very loudly, so as to inhibit any eavesdropping. "Mr. Romanokovski, I presume?" Clarke asked.
"Augustus Clarke."
"Do you know why I am here?"
"No. You not get wife? I no longer do pimping, so go somewhere else."
"Charming. If you are wise, you'll hold your tongue."
"I'm the patriarch of the Romanokovski family*. You think a skinny little prick like you will scare me?"
"We share common enemies, you know?"
"What?"
"My organization's budget is up for review and with this new public transportation crap passed by the counselors, it looks like the war in Kampfersein will be out of our control."
"I never been to Kampfersein so I do not care."
"Also, today, the Counsel convened in a top secret meeting. They know of your labor-union outfit, the casino, the smuggling and what happened to the police chief in Esmund. They also know your private bank account number. If it wasn't for a certain counselor who didn't want to come home to his wife and kids murdered, your private accounts would have been frozen already. If you help me, I'll make sure nothing bad happens to you."
The man looked bug-eyed. "What is it you need?"
"Much better. You see, Verstummelung has been rather annoying in its constant supplying the enemy with aircraft that ruins our beautiful planes. Also, they for some reason don't want our troops to get into Kampfersein and their damned shipyards are putting out ships faster than we can sink 'em. If you value your wealth and your freedom, you will ease my concern with these problems."
Clarke stood up in a very authoritarian manner and walked arrogantly out the door. Romanokovski yelled to one of the men in the waiting room. "Call my string quartet. I need to see them immediately."

*The Romanokovski family traces its roots to ancient Siapian nobility. The family is fiercely loyal to itself and has resisted any outside pressure (Most notably, the law). The family has been suspected of racketeering, smuggling and murder.

Dobenicz watched as his wingman was disintegrated by the anti-aircraft fire. He heard on the radio. "Jacknife, Hells bells in a dead baby's nose." He knew the code phrase. He spun his craft around, buzzing low over the deck. The three remaining planes followed him. They strafed the gun emplacements of the ships below. The plane beside him ignited as he heard his wingman yell. "Stick this up your a** facist mongrels!" before crashing his plane into the bridge of a cruiser. Meanwhile, above the action, a group of high-altitude bombers closed over the wounded aircraft carrier. The captain looked into the scope, the crosshairs focused in the middle of the deck. "For the Eyrenstrong men." The bombs fell solemnly from the planes.

The Robotic battlegroup tries its best to avoid the nucleus of the sea battle, instead remaining on the fringe and providing AAA fire.
