The six 'SeaSnake' stealth destroyers and four 'Scope' submarines moved silently and invisibly toward the insignificant isles, escorting what appeared to be a civilian cruiser. Overhead, way above the clouds, men flew. Five thousand men flew, being carried over the sea to drop upon the enemy.
No one knew they were coming.
Port Stanley, Falkaland Isles
"Mr. Stoughton, we are recieving a radio transmission from a transatlantic cruiser, Dormant. She is requesting that she be allowed inshore to load up with fuel supplies. Apparently they had a leak."
Mr Stoughton, acting governor of the Falklands thought about this for a while. He had not seen any civilain liners pass this way in a long time, the last really big ship he had seen was when Great Britain decided to come and liberate them from the Argentinians. Still, all was peacefull now, nothing to worry about.
"Are there any escorts?"
"Not according to radar Sir."
"Give the all clear, we could do with a bit of tourism around here."
