Introducing the T-2005N "Mutt" Tank:

Built to replace the nuclear powered T-72MRA variants, the T-2005N incorparates an all new 136mm high velocity cannon which is gyro stabilized and computer controlled. A multi-spectrum sensor head provides a realtime LiDAR picture of the battlefield for the tank commander. The T-2005N is also equiped with a secondary 14.5mm machine gun for the anti infantry and anti-aircraft role.
Suprisingly light at only 45 tons, the Mutt can sustain multipile machinegun/mortar/RPG hits and even can absorb 105mm shell strikes.
The tank also features a positive pressure NBC system to keep out nasty bio-agents, radiation and chemicals. This tank can also pass underwater with its snorkel system, up to 25 feet deep! Best of all this tank runs off plain old hydrogen fuel cells so you dont have to worry about your ever-dwindling oil supplies.

Here are the stats!

Length (with gun): 38 feet
Width: 12.3 feet
Height: 9 feet
Weight: 45 tons
Engine: fuel-cell powered 1505hp Kawasaki engine
Speed: 60 mph road, 40mph terrain
Crew: 3 (gunner, driver, commander)
Armament: 1 x 136mm Cannon, 1 x 12,7mm M1998 14.5mm Machine Gun, 1 x 7.62mm co-axial , 1 x 3 inch rocket pod [or 1 AT/SAM missile launcher]
Ammo: 36 x 136mm shells, 2000 x 7.62mm rounds and 500 x 14.5mm rounds, 16 x 3 inch rockets[or 1 AT/SAM missile]
Price: $2 million

They are now for sale to the international community.

Read it.

Also, the tank is too small for that gun, other than that, it's reasonably good. THough you REALLY don't need that much horsepower... in fact, I'd siuggest dropping it to anout 1000hp

Yes I did read that thats why I decided to make it fuel cell instead of n00klear.
And this was the best pic I could find :(

It isn’t about the picture, its about the tank itself. My Relas MBT carries a 130mm main gun and it’s the size of M1A1, yours is smaller, carries a bigger gun and has larger/better armour.

That said, what kind of armour is this? If it can absorb a 105mm shell its gota be one thick/expensive armour.

Oh and as I said, DO NOT MOUNT BUCKETS OF EXPLOSIVES ON YOUR TANKS, ESPECIALY NOT THE TURRET.

Firstly, the rockets are on top of lefthand tread. (see picture)

Secondly, if a round were to explode the rockets, it would only blow up and away from the tank, creating a sort of ERA-like effect.

Third, the gun itself could fit in a smaller tank, its not as big as you seem to think. Just because it has 136mm bore diameter doesn't mean it has to have a 50 foot barrel length to be effective.
Also, the armor is a liquid formed depleted uranium honeycomb with a ceramic compound, and is buffered by a thin layer of foamed tungsten against the frame. :)

Okay, so you have rockets above the tracks? Big no-no, if a bullet hits it your gona have your tracks blown off because of the explosion. Its kinda impossible to direct it away from the tracks so either ditch them or mount a piece of armour plating under them.

Gun, okay, could fit but I expect it to be less effective because you needed to compensate so it could fit into the space(shorter barrel, etc.)

Armour, I'm not expert but I think thats gona cost you a bit more then 2 million, including the rest of the things on this tank.

[Size of gun doesn't equate to size of tank. Russian tanks are (in)famous for having a relatively small tank mounting a rather large gun. I don't think there's a Russian tank larger than 60 tons, yet several have had guns of 130mm+. Of course, the sacrifice here is armour, unless you want to build a bigger tank.]
