General John Alexander has asked Jews and Muslims to leave or renounce their religion. He has given them 45 days. This is believed to be part of his anti-religion campaign. In addition, Christians have been rounded up and sent to the Labor Camp. Females were sent to funhouses. Several were selected for the General's own personal pleasure.

The Foreign Affairs Command Centre was a mess of technicians and aides rushing about as a transmission came in from Sel Appa, marred with bursts of static and meaningless electronic noise.

What words that could be pulled from the static were projected onto the massive flatscreens at the head of the command centre as orders were shouted and executed in the deep, underground bunker.

"Get me that transmission back!" shouted a woman dressed in a conservative brown skirt suit. "I don't give a damn where you need to redirect from, get me that transmission!" she shouted at technicians even as aides swarmed around her, each trying to get her attention.

Any 'dealing with situations' will face intervention from the Macabees. We must stress that the only path to getting what you need is diplomacy so we push all parties to begin diplomatic talks. If Sel Appa fails to cooperate then you may place any fleets you want to in Sel Appa's waters.

The IoW International Security Branch has approved use of force to deter any intervention outside of diplomatic actions. I will allow one diplomat from each nation that wishes to engage in diplomatic talks. No guards may be given. Tyr Silverlance, a tall, imposing Burmecian, spoke up, he had a voice that, while not loud, seemed confident as if he knew more than the people around him; as a diplomat should. Although it was customary in Siesatia for one to leave one's hat on whilst inside, he had placed it to the side, out of respect to local customs, he was the only non human here, and was going to set a strict example.

"I concur with the honorable representatives of Democratic Colonies, the religious detainees, especially the women, must be freed, and/or turned over to a willing nation, Siesatia is one of many nations here, who will willingly accept them. Jeruselem Government News

Sel Appa citizens sent packing home

After the actions of the Sel Appa government were announced, those Sel Appa citizens in Jeruselem who worked in an official capacity for the government were ordered to go home. Those of Jewish, Christian or Islamic religion were asked if they wanted to apply for temporary asylum. Those who feel their liberty for practicing their chosen religion threatened will have their applications considered sympathically.

Jeruselem citizens in Sel Appa have been asked to come home for their own safety. Sunni Moslems in the Old City of Jerusalem declared anyone in Jeruselem who help Sel Appa apply it's new anti-religious policies are enemies of God and do not deserve to live.

The Jeruselem Catholic Church didn't want to comment but it was understood they weren't very happy and "things will be put right".

The Jewish leaders said Sel Appa was following the condemned and failed ways of Nazi Germany.

Information leaked from inside the Internal Intelligence Office revels that the government has been supporting Sel Appa rebels. These secret arms dealing ranged from machine guns to rocket launchers. It is even suspected that they're supplying tanks, jets and even missiles, thought the line between rumor and fact is blurred.

In response to these allegations, President Zhen'Erehcez Nesbecej proclaims, "...while we condemn the actions of Sel Appa, we aren't looking to get involved with Sel Appa on such a level. We'll just continue to quietly observe the peace talks from the outside."

Social commentator and director Zhen'Ereem Tef Tef believes other wise. "It's hard to peddle your Mango Madness soda and your Derfs-line of 'Power' automobiles to an opressed country... They should just come out and say they're looking to force consumerism on Sel Appa! We should keep our muzzles out of that other nation's business!"

OOC: I consulted two others about gassing diplomats as a godmod. One said no, the other wasn't sure. I personally think it isn't because it isn't major and is typical of a dictator. I hope no one considers this a god mod. If you do, just play along. I didn't bomb the crap out of your or something. ;)

Although the hissing noise was hardly noticable at first, slowly, its presence and what it signified became apparent.

"Do you hear that? There's - it's gas! Gas!" shouted Admiral Garrett, bolting up from her seat and stumbling to the door that the general had exited through. She found herself becoming dizzy and disoriented as even staying upright became a struggle. The hissing became louder as more gas was pumped into the room. She fell to her knees a few feet from the door, fighting to remain conscious.



OOC: What kind of gas is it? Could it be knockout gas? That way you could use the captured military brass/diplomats as hostages, and we could all keep our characters alive.

OOC: That's the problem. I'm debating between Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide, Sarin, Chlorine, and Mustard Gas. I'm thinking of what a dictator would do.

Tyr lept into action, and pulled out a disk like device from the folds of his overcoat. The gas was beginning to affect him, but he operated the device, and sent the following message to his fleet.
"Gas, trace location, help."
Before he slumped against the wall.

The ship that had delivered him had been waiting, cloaked, far above the city. Upon recieving the transmission, it began a quick descent to assist. Reciveving target, the gunner looked to the pilot.
"Ever seen surgery?"
"Can't say I have..."
"Watch and learn!"
The ship began to fire a compressed beam into the building, more specifically, the room, acting as a scalpel, cutting into the roof.

Part of the roof collapses and the Nitrogen gas escapes into the atmosphere. The pump continues to deliver nitrogen, however, in vain.

Technician: "Uh sir..."

General: Oh my f***ing..."

General: "Take me to Nemnenait! Quickly!"

General Reported Missing!

The General had just arrived from a meeting in Eastern Sel Appa and was in a command room. He excused himself for a moment and never came back. The entire facility had been searched.

Spokesman Joe Mahma: "He just vanished. No one knows where. He was working out some troop deployments and excused himself, never to return. We've been looking for him for two hours. The entire place has been sweeped and we're conducting another sweep now."

It is suspected that in facing huge threats from abroad, General John Alexander has left the country. Without a trace. Investigators are combing the borders and soldiers stationed there are on the lookout.

NatRev leader, Bill Johnson: "All I can say is that he is a typical dictator: a coward. As soon as he knows he is threatened, he vanishes. We'll probably find him hiding in a 'spider hole' somewhere."

After much demanding and debating, Green Sun has decided to send a cruiser, two submarines, and a carrier to attack Sel Appa, aiding the resistance forces and the nations whose diplomats were executed. The possible use of Fuel-Air bombs is likely.

Bobby, after hearing the diplomat from The Democratic Colonies yell gas and bolt out of her seat, he paniced for a moment. Though, thanks to his past training, he knew either death or imprisonment was going to occur, he wouldn't let his homeland suffer. With that he pulled out a small devise from his coat pocket. It was a little black box with a button. He pressed the bottom, then bowed his head and said a short prayer before passing out.

The Jagadian Naval Task Force, stationed just off the coast of Sel Appa waited silently for any word from the diplomat. Commanding the Naval Task Force was Admiral Moore, a rising star in Jagada's navy. He stood in silence, one half of him wanted a war, the other half didn't want war, he was curious which side he would have to rely on. Suddenly a small red light lit up on the console of to the left of him, a sailor sat still for a moment. The red light was the worst situation possible, it ususally meaned the diplomat was either dead, dying, or captured. When the red light went off, it gave him authority to launch a pre-emptive strike, without permission from the capital, against the target nation. Moore shifted slightly, he now knew which part of him to rely on, and he embraced it.

"Admiral, sir, we have a red light," said the sailor. The Admiral nodded.

"Launch all aircraft. Missile attacks on military installations on the coast," stated Moore calmly and collectively.

"Also, contact the captial. Inform them we have a red light. Request another Naval Task Force, along with a landing force," he stated. The communications officers gave a short yes sir and began to relay the communication.

The Naval Task Force was relativly small, thought Moore. Only three carriers, ten battleships, fifteen battlecrusiers, and a number of destroyers and light crusiers. Overall, only about eighty fighters were avalible for deployment.

Tyr began to wake, at first, he thought he was outside, the Nitrogen Narcosis affecting his brain distorting his vision, before it started to clear, he saw the gaping hole, and the fresh air flowing in. His mind cleared, and he drew his pistol, shooting out what looked like two video monitering systems.

He rushed to the Democratic Colonies representative, for she had been the first to succumb to the gas. He dragged her right under the hole, before going to get the others.

When everyone was in the area with the hole, he opened back up the disk device, and contacted the transport.

"Code Black, Sel Appa has committed an agressive act of war at the attempted assasination of the diplomats. We are in need of assistance, if one transport could be sent down..."

As James Furlough woke groggily from the nitrogen narcosis, he blinked several times to try and clear his head. He saw another diplomat who'd awoken checking on someone who was still unconcious.

What happened? he thought. Someone screamed "Gas!" and then...nothing.

Admiral Yamamoto sat up, looking around. The gas had filled his head, and seemed to him that he was in a swimmingpool. That was immposible since he could breath, though. "Crap, I'm never doing that again." he thought to himself. He looked next to where he sat and saw the crushed bug. "Oh, boy. Still might not end well."

250 miles out from Sel Appa capitol...

"Strike Leader to all units, you have your preprogramed targets, fire at will!" The mass of planes let their ATS missiles go, leaving trails of white smoke behind them. "All units, ascened back to heaven."

The planes turned, leaving the missiles to fly on their own.

"What do you mean?" he quickely asked, before whipping open the disk again,
"Control, we need an immediate support, is the transport availiable?"
"Yessir!" Came a quick short reply, "But you need to be in an area thats not enclosed by an obstruction."
He looked up to the hole in the roof.
"The roof is gone, get us out of here."

The transport quickely flew towards them, sensors were picking up contacts, quickely heading their way. It busted through the hole, and crushing the table on the other side of the massive conference room.
"GO!" Tyr shouted, and began to help the still unconscious to the waiting transport.

Green Sun has authorized the use of force against Sel Appa. The fleet will arrive in 5 hours, and they are going to use force against the Sel Appa fleet to minimize the threat of being sunk.

Situation is under control. Only ships of PP origin were called out. That means only those built in my nation were mobilized. "Sir, last aircraft launched," stated one of the crewmen to Moore.

In all, eighty aircraft, twenty per carrier. The Naval Task Force had only Light Carriers at their disposal, however the aircraft being used were Harriers, aircraft that lifed vertically up. This, in a sense, permitted more aircraft onborad the carrier.

They flew in squadrons of five aircraft each. "We are apporaching the coast," stated one of the lead pilots. The aircraft's mission was to eliminate all enemy military installations on the coast, to permit for a future land invasion if it was required.

As the Harriers closed in they awaited for any sign of military installations.

Those aren't there. There is only a door and a smoke detector(which released the gas. There are, however, sensors in the wall that can detect movement.

Second-in-command Colonel Jefferson Franklin has taken control of Sel Appa. He first asks that all forces deployed search for the general. An equivalent of $250,000,000 reward is posted for his capture alive. $50,000,000 dead. He has made plans to reverse much of what the general did.

He plans to repeal all the general's "exile laws" and persecution laws. All funhouses will be closed and profits distributed as damages. All Labor Camp prisoners will be released except the original protestors. They will be slowly phased out as they are replaced by regime officials and "real criminals". LC pay will be doubled to equivalent $.10 and may be furtherly increased. Conditions there will be improved and foreign inspectors are welcome to test the facility for fairness.

The supposed Two-Million Man army will be largely dismissed into reserves. Any major weapons will be destroyed or dismantled (for now). Inspectors are welcome. Also, a full peace treaty will be written including payments to nation's of afflicted diplomats. This will be paid from the general's private money. Finally, if stability can be achieved to international and Colonel Jeff Franklin's liking, a republic, or similar will be established.

Rebel Leader Bill Johnson met with Colonel Jefferson Franklin today and signed a peace deal, which eventually went into talks of the details. A De Jewish Mafia diplomat was present. They will meet again tommorrow to discuss terms of an internetional treaty. All nations who participated in this confilct are invited to attend.

It was at this time he realized what he'd done, he activated the emergancy device, he was suprised this building still stood, that he was even alive. It was only then did he feel oriented enough to realize where he was, in some kind of medical lab or hospital of sorts.

"So, whom do I owe my life to?" asked Bobby to no one in particular.

"I offer a new meeting in De Jewish Mafia to arrange the treaty's inner workings. I would like to have held it here in Sel Appa, but I'm sure you do not trust us right now. I have no intentions to hurt any of you, but I would be scared to. So how about it? A meeting in De Jewish Mafia as soon as your diplomats recover."

Tyr walked over to the revived diplomat.
"Nobody in paticular, I hope you are feeling better, because we're going back to the bargaining table, or at least I am, if you wish, we can transport you to your homelands..."

"I generally don't carry a weapon, however I do have some defense devices that must remain unknown to the public. I will get a helicopter as soon as I can, for transport."

We agree to this, our representative will carry one Neuro Gun, and one personal shield, we also must state, that at the first sign of trechery, we will open fire upon Sel Appa.

Siesatian and Sel Appa transport are permitted to land. They will be briefly searched by guards immediatly after going inside the ship.

"I intend no harm at all. The guy before me was a psycho. I was planning to depose him and I'm sure the army would have backed me, but he left and I was next in line."

"Though, I do need to be transported to the fleet off the coast of Sel Appa, to ensure them that I am very much alive," stated Bobby.

"I must request a search by only one person of me. That person must not leak a word of my personal defense weapons are. They are small and can fit in several jacket pockets."

The Secratary of Foriegn Affairs himself will search you. The guards will eb searched by the naval crew.

The wind blew Admiral Rachel Garrett's hair around her face as she stepped onto the deck of the vessel from Cherry Ridge. Grasped in her hand was her military issue PDA, into which she was speaking, her slight British accent noticeable to any who might happen to hear her side of her conversation.

"Look, I think it's really just a formality." she said as she swept her hair back. "Sel Appa's already undergone a regime change - no assistance on our part was really required."

There was a muffled reply from the clamshell electronic device, just barely understandable as Admiral Garrett stopped to wait for the other delegates.

"Frankly, Command, I don't really see much point in Colonial Navy participation in this at all..." she paused as words were spoken on the other side of her digital connection. Garrett signalled to a nearby impatiently waiting Cherry Ridgian official that she would introduce herself in just a moment.

"I don't exactly know what we could accomplish, that's all." said Garrett. "The natives of Sel Appa have already taken care of everything, apparently. Reparations, official apologies - surely, someone from the Department of Foreign Affairs can handle this? I understand that the Colonial Fleet Command is always eager to show Congress that we can do diplomacy too, but really - there's two Colonial Navy fleets out here. That's a total of twenty two admirals of one kind or another. Twenty two! Surely, we're not all needed for.... yes...."

Garrett gestured an apology at the Cherry Ridgian, as he looked to be slightly irritated.

"Aye, understood Fleet Command." said Garrett finally, with some disapointment in her voice. "Orders are understood, myself and the entirety of the two hundred and fourty six vessels under my current command will do whatever is possible to ensure that the negotiations go smoothly."

There was a slight pause before she spoke again, this time bearing a wide smile.

"Right Command, you tell Fleet Marshal Johnson that exactly....Yes. This is Admiral Garrett, signing off."

Garrett snapped shut the PDA with a flick of her wrist before addressing the Cherry Ridgian.

"Well, I'm sorry about that." she said, offering a relaxed salute. "Admiral Rachel Garrett, Colonial Navy."

The Ridgian sailor saluted and said,
"You are already cleared, Admiral Garret."

"Before I left, I ordered my subordinates to begin work on an election slated for Sunday. This will be an election for Executive leader. He will appoint several advisors to help write a new constitution. After that, a group of quota-picked political leaders will simplify it to be voted on. Each person will have a section to simplify. This is to prevent the same bias on the whole thing. We expect it to be completed by April 15 and voted on a few days later.

Other than that, I'd like to get down to our external policy. I'll start off with a $25,000,000 payment to anyone who sent a diplomat to the previous meeting. I am willing to negotiate more as this is from John's personal money. If you have any other requests, the table is open."

OOC: I am going to make another post going into more detail about the new government.

The ten ships began their descent, it was a show of force, really, each was armed, unbeknownst to the Sel Appans, with Plasma Bombs, infused with Temporal Radiation, meant to destroy any electronic device in the area, and burn through whatever the plasma decided to land on. They wouldnt be used, unless there was some show of force by the Sel Appans.

Soon, the ship reached the carrier. And requested landing clearence.

Bobby made his way onto the vessel from Cherry Ridge. He sighed, he didn't believe that Jagada needed to get involved in this neogiation at all, the Sel Appa was forced to submit to the demands, thanks to a small rebellion by their people of coarse. As he approched the Cherry Ridge delegate waiting to search him. He gave out his name and position:

"To be honest," said Admiral Garrett, "the Democratic Colonies is essentially satisfied with how this has all turned out. The only request that I am instructed to make is that some effort be made to locate the missing General who started this whole affair, what with the rounding up of Jews and all, and that should he be located at a later date, that he be given a fair trial in a court of law. Your court, if your government insists, or an international court if that is the preference of the people of Sel Appa."

"I have sent agents swarming all over the country and the borders are fully closed except to me. I placed a large reward on his head. (it's back a few pages) If you locate him, please deport him to Sel Appa ASAP. I have a picture here somewhere..."

((OOC: I know this is way late, but I haven't been to the forums much recently [real life and all]))

IC: *He had been sitting quietly in His chair, having just returned to the peace talks after taking a breif leave to oversee the military training in His nation and see how things were progressing. He'd not been back more than a few hours, still waiting for approval to remove the religious prisoners when the gas started. Cursing softly, He presses a button on His wrist chrono, alerting His Diplomatic Retreival Unit. The DRU is trained for removing Him from hostile situations and should be arriving in about an hour. Then, with resolute efficiency, He begins trying to pry open the door, moving the unconcious Navywoman aside. He begins to pull with all His strength...which slowly ebbs away as the gas takes hold.

He wakes up shortly there after, in a pile of people...a lone diplomat standing near them, communicating with His people as he looks up through a hole in the ceiling. The DRU leader finishes communication with the Diplomat and comes over to administer medical attention and evacuate the Lord of Inherent Vengeance. He turns, shakily and looks at the Diplomat who had the wherewithal to call in the airstrike* "Thank You sir, your valor will be remembered" *He smiles breifly and leaves, supported by two DRU MedTechs.*

OOC: Ok then...

IC: The Colonel assumed no other requests were to be made and slowly got up to leave. He did this in case anyone had a last request. No one did, so he left and prepared to board his helicopter to return to Sel Appa.

OOC: I declare this thread officially closed. Reparations will be wired ASAP. Please await Sel Appa's move towards democracy.
